341  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Managing unstable overclock behavior, GPU errors under Linux / XP / Win7 on: August 22, 2011, 11:44:09 PM
Iv found i can run my cards insane clocks at 1100mhz on a 5870 and 950 on a 5970 but if im on my pc much they will freeze but if i dont use the pc they are fine.  I have to run my clocks much lower to not crash while on my pc doing stuff.
342  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Introducing CherryPicking - new Windows pool hopper on: August 22, 2011, 04:23:38 AM
it sounds like you removed the code to tell CP to use all 3 of your gpu's. each gpu needs a miner= line in the cfg file for CP to use it. what exactly did removing the other 2 fix for you? the connection issue with mtred is unrelated to how many gpu's you use

Lol i figured it out was a mistake on me when i made the 3rd acount on mtred i had a typo.
343  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: The community needs good Crossfire-Friendly (or, exploitive) Mining Software on: August 22, 2011, 03:57:41 AM
crossfire wont matter if anything it would slow it down i used to run boinc and it did work in crossfire and it would slower then if both cards ran work units alot  because they have to stay in sync if one card goes faster the other one has to slow down or stop to stay in sync with it.  6990 and 5970 cards have to run 2 clients on mining just like having 2 real video cards.
344  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Introducing CherryPicking - new Windows pool hopper on: August 22, 2011, 03:50:29 AM
yea i got that issue fixed playing around with it.

Nice program for the low price i figured id get it and play with it is their anyway to track how many hashes im getting out of my cards.  And i got 3 gpus but only 2 are being used by it and mtred keeps giving a error even tho some times it works.

347  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: python OpenCL bitcoin miner on: August 21, 2011, 09:46:53 PM
Any one know any tweaks to keep pocbm from freezing up my pc when im using it i can mine for days if i dont use my pc but at random if im using my pc it will just lock up.  I know im running some high clocks on my gpus but its wierd only happens when i try to play a video or open a web browser sometimes im using a 5870@1100/600mhz and a 5970@940/500mhz.
348  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [101 GH/s] ABCPool.co - The NEW 0% fee PPS pool; with stales as bonus! on: August 21, 2011, 01:36:48 PM
Thanks for pointing this out; we also see this discrepancy in our detailed accounting overview. Due to the high load experienced on our servers the balances have not fully updated. We will adjust any skewed balances once the load issue has been resolved.

My personal stats show:
Lifetime Valid: 76234 shares
Lifetime Stale: 165 shares
Lifetime Invalid: 317 shares
Lifetime Earned: 1.31083799 BTC

But according to your FAQ, ignore the Stale and Invalid, I should earn 76234 * 0.00002767 =  2.1094 BTC
So I still have 0.8 BTC not shown in my balance?

I think with the problems they are having the shares are showing more then they should be.  My balance does not match my shares either seems like maybe the shares are 1.5x more then they are suppose to be.  If your problem is same as above they are working on fixing it i think.
349  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [HACKED] while i was on holiday. on: August 21, 2011, 12:30:09 PM
I cant say if op is legit or not but installing some type remote desktop software is very common they even make a mod for windows remote desktop to let more then one user login at same time and the real owner never sees the hacker its hidden.  If op was really hacked the hacker probly got him by a botnet that scans for expoits then he used them to scan for wallet.dat and found the op waset around so used that to scam some people.

Just a suggestion but anytime you block someone you should pay out their balance also incase they never come back.

Blocked members are only blocked from mining; they may still withdraw their balance whenever they want. They have full access to the website.

Ah i see And for me invailds are ok i guess using guiminer and opencl miner aka poclbm on a 5870 and 5970 both extreme clocks get me around 1200-1400mhash  i think my invailds might of cut way back sence i took my 8800gt off the site also and put it on another pool.  If my math is right my invailds are under 1% compared to how many shares iv submited.

Lifetime Valid: 229083 shares
Lifetime Stale: 271 shares
Lifetime Invalid: 654 shares

NEWS:
Dear members,

As mentioned earlier, certain clients are submitting huge numbers of invalid shares while the incompatibility of certain mining clients remains. As this practically means these clients are DOSsing our servers, we are forced to start blocking their respective users in order to ensure service quality for those that are submitting normally.

1. Users that submit more invalid shares than valid (valid + stale) shares (ie. >50% of total is invalid) will be blocked on IP-basis.
2. You will only be blocked after submitting at least 1000 shares (ie. it is no problem if you start with submitting 42 invalid shares)
3. Blocked users will not be able to continue mining
4. Blocked users can still withdraw their funds.

If you are blocked, you may request an unblock by sending us a PM explaining what steps you have taken to mitigate the problem.

Some tips:
We noticed that especially the cgminer client sends a lot of invalid shares. If you are using this client, switching to another client will probably solve the invalid-shares issue.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Just a suggestion but anytime you block someone you should pay out their balance also incase they never come back.

356  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoinduit.com - No more 2% House Fee, new game coming soon.. on: August 19, 2011, 05:44:02 PM
There is always a 10% fee on the first bet. Unfortunately this is not mentioned anywhere on the site.

This should appear in the rules section!
And what about the refund if only the initial bet is placed? Is this still common? Or is the 50-50 rule aplying at this point?

Thats why i stoped using the site so many games are poping up you have a high chance of never getting any bets and getting screwed bad house takes 10%+50% and you only end up getting 40% of your money back.  More people would play if say you put it in as if no one plays you get 75% of your bet back you still profit and more people would play the game and not get burned and never come back.
