I think that the most important thing it is support of the people. If a lot of people believes in some coin it has value. The same thing is with fiat money but there is state influence towards people.
Then again it is the technology that comes first. Imagine Bitcoin had some serious security flaws, people would lose trust instantly. Since it has no security flaws trust can be built over time. |

Most coins are a fork of another source code. That's why the answer is certainly yes this is a fork. They are trying to make changes though and improve what they think could be better than the features those other coins have. |

I know that signature is good for marketing but are we reaching the right people?, since bitcoin is rising investors attention are on BTC right now and the most use website when such an event happen are the block explorer and coinmarketcap if any of team can put a banner on them its gonna be huge exposure.
i already raised question about that, but no one made any reply, except few more comments by community which added more reasons about why having another signature deal but those banners will get much more attention, im sure that can bring even some whales here Very difficult to measure how effective signatures are. There aren't any statistics available that you could use to assess signature promotion. |

Guys don't sell your BTCP, it will rise again. The price currently is being market manipulated. There is sell order of 6000btcp in hitbtc that is pushing the price down.
Now perhaps no one can say when will rise coin in price and will rise whether at all when any. We can only hope for that. We need to wait was a very long time, everything is not growing market. Times have changed a little obviously and the market now turned around quite a bit. Good momentum for now. Bitcoin Private could do a bit better though. |

#stratis is the Top Undervalued Altcoin  i bet it will hit 100 $ this year com on buddy...i know you love stratis but you have to have some common sense here. do yourself a favor and add those numbers up multiple $100 by total coin supply, take that number and compare it to where stratis will be in cmc. if the bulls return this year you will be lucky to reach $10 We are waiting to see this happening but this will happen when something big will be released and this platform will start moving to the mainstream adoption. Now it is under the huge pressure and it looking hard to get recover soon. In a strong market I don't think Stratis will be left behind. It will also make its move forward and get the attention it deserves. |

i think there i nearly nobody working on pura. on the homepage there are some guys for development, which are never online. the homepage was not updated since 2017. no news, only a update for a wallet and now all is quiet and waiting.
perhaps all of the pura guys are on vacation in malta? or in costa rica?
It is often quiet here but from time to time someone posts updates so I think it may not be dead yet. |

Once BTC surpasses 7,000 I will be a lot more faithful, for now I'll wait & see.
deeponion prices too look to be gaining slowly. i'm hopeful for the $1 mark when bitcoin gets to 7k. Really positive week so far I have a strong feeling that today the bull is already starting. A crypto currency may have value when it's platform can be considered revolutionary. The demand and supply will follow so long as it has its use for adoption. And most importantly it will have more value if it's funded well.
If the only thing that gives value to something is the funding itself, then the goal why the development has been funded was actually missed. |

I like the way they decided to fund any development efforts and that the community can have a say about the expenses. That's very often the least transparent process in other projects. They don't disclose details about their expenses or only details which are not that important to know.

Potential is worthless. It is a promise on future performance. There won't be dozens of anon coins later on. That's why it is critical to make the best one and even if they had the potential, I don't see that happening.
I am not sure, if there is someone from official Pura team here in this bitcointalk. Otherwise it would be useful, if official news to be posted here to discuss them. Also they need a chairman who drives the strategy, also a headquarter, adress, phonenumber and so on. This "community driven" is worthless - as nobody is responsible for the strategy. I remember the chaotic theme aurora - nobody knews the status, was responsible - the investors stayed alone and had to wait what will happen without timeline etcc. Do you think they don't already have these positions occupied? They do have someone who is responsible for strategy or maybe they share the work that is related to determining the strategy. It can't work without that anyway. Maybe they just do not have enough money to hire a person who will move all social networks including this forum and channels in telegrams? Because without this, the forum topic will bend very quickly and everyone will think that the project is abandoned. I don't think they don't have the time available to post here once in a while. The project is definitely interesting...I think today and in the next couple of years, hardly anyone will be able to give this functionality with the presence of advanced AI.
AI and blockchain are the most interesting investments now and this project has both technologies + mining = and huge prospects and potential ROI. An I don't care that we will not reach the hard cap, that is even more interesting with less total supply and so low price on ICO. AI is a dangerous topic as there can be applications which do harm as well as good. We need to be prepared as society that many work places will vanish due to AI. Yes, definitely! But in any case we already have a lot of examples of using AI on the good side, so I strongly believe that we will have more benefits from using these technologies than bad experiences. And as for people who are scared to lose their work places, they should always be mobile and always study something new for that to be able to compete with others and find new and modern job or business. It is life, it has never been simple and will not be. As long as the average guy is allowed to participate in the development and does not get restricted in any way by governments then yes. Governments are often evil actors who use new technologies to undermine privacy and so on. I think we need to use the time and opportunity given to us to the maximum, until governments have begun to actively intervene and try to regulate this sphere. Who knows how much time we still have. It will bounce back for sure. Nice to buy more stratis. Price is so low. Knowing stratis have a powerful blockchain. Having its own network of coins. Surely as more coins come into its blockchain, the more powerful stratis will become.
I'm probably going to buy some more in a few days/weeks, I think we'll see a slight drop after this peak, back to the bottom. At that point, the bitcoin etf, or coinbase security trading, or something like that will be announced, which will spark the next bullrun. Stratis could easily reach 20$ this year Few days or few weeks could be too late. Some well known traders agree that this can be the next journey to the moon. Stratis won't go down or sideways if that happens. |
