342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AC]AsiaCoin - Relaunch on: May 05, 2014, 01:56:34 AM

We are trying to fix the premine issue and return people's investments to them. Please head over to the new topic if you wanna know how, or if you want  to contribute, but please, leave talks about the scammer developer here, as we're not interested in that over there. We're finding a solution.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AC] AsiaCoin Reverse-Scam | Hard Fork and Patch on: May 05, 2014, 01:47:19 AM
I don't think the interest rate should be changed either, but I can't get everything I want  and if they change it I'll just be happy they resurrected the coin

Long Live AsiaCoin

It will only be changed to take account of the extra 30 mil dumped coins. Otherwise it will remain the same.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AC] AsiaCoin Reverse-Scam | Hard Fork and Patch on: May 05, 2014, 01:40:47 AM
right on people, If you can make the premine disappear your going to make a bunch of people very happy. thanks for the hard work.

so the wallets have sound coding? and are safe? or will there be a client update?

There will be a client update which will have the *bad* codes removed from them.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] - IMPORTANT NOTICE on: May 05, 2014, 01:20:00 AM
I think we should continue with this project, we're all going to loose if nothing happens. What are we going to do sit on out wallets and hope for the dev to come fix things ? Let these guys take up the project, if people don't want to convert there old ac to the new ac then they are more then welcomed to give them to me. We should do this, my opinion as a bag holder

Please come to the new topic:

How's this for the new Logo? As I understand the name and abbreviation (AC) is being kept as it is right?

I added this to the post and also for the Twitter account that I'm creating. I think we're keeping the name.

+ 1 for social media boosting and I suggest "Thunderclap" for  viral asap.
count me in for  web hosting costs coverage (Maestro pls pm me for btc address  Wink )

Many thanks for the support. I can't do web design, but I suggest you send the BTC to the person who takes responsibility of that directly, not to me or anyone else Smiley This will help to clear some doubts that I see exists over our intensions.

We need someone to create a new website, that's a priority. I'm setting up Twitter right now and I will send details in 15 minutes.

Why revive a scam clone dilution coin?  Were you one of the fools who bought this shit?

Because a lot of us lost money on this, and we're trying to revive it since it's doable  Smiley

This thread is NOT self-moderated. We are fully transparent, but please do not spam as I won't be able to delete them![/list][/list][/list]
        357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] - IMPORTANT NOTICE on: May 04, 2014, 11:22:31 PM
I'm making the new topic, done most of it already, will post very soon.

Good stuff.. also make sure you can commit to updating the OP and responding quickly to requests.  That's actually pretty critical to any coin's success.  Though.. the asiacoin original dev was horrible at that.. so i don't even understand why AC got as big as it did...

Also make sure the OP has "moderate thread" checked when you post... that will allow you to delete spam.. you can only do that at thread creation time Smiley

Actually I was thinking of NOT doing a self-moderation, because of better transparancy. What do you think?

Let's vote guys. What do you propose the new name to be? I say EastCoin

If patching, then strongly suggest to maintain existing relationships with exchanges and pools to keep the name the same.

If a whole new coin approach, then call it whatever people want.

I think patching is doable and the better idea.
        360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]AsiaCoin v2 [AC2] - IMPORTANT NOTICE on: May 04, 2014, 09:55:31 PM
For RealStackcoin i did almost all of it: create a website, paid for the domain, codeded it deployed DNS seeds.. and then after that launched,  Everyday i'd get up and send people coins to recompense their lost coins, update the OP.. respond to the thread in a timely manner, etc..

I got like 0 monetary value out of it.. actually it costs me more to setup DNS and VPS servers.. But it was fun learning experience.

I don't think i want to go through all of that again.. If you guys can be responsible for starting an OP, website.. and commit to it in the long run.. then I'm in.  But I haven't seen any of that.  Don't see anyone creating a website or even creating a new thread (to repair the original coin), get any traction on recruiting a real team or anything...

Bitsta and co. tried to do something new here.. which I've advised them against .. but they probably don't have any skin left in the game and have written off their loss already..

But people who have skin in the game (bagholders).. gotta step up here.. can't just count on others to do this work.  its one thing saying you will help.. another to actually start doing something.

I completely agree, and I speak for myself that I'm ready to step in. We will work on that Smiley

Who else is ready to take responsibility for the work that we need to do?
