341  Economy / Services / Re: DevScrow | ICO Escrow Service - 2.5% | Biometric Secured 👥 on: October 03, 2014, 05:10:45 PM
I used devthedev's escrow service today and the transaction went through smoothly and promptly. I would definitely use his services again.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: MAIDSAFE TestNet 2 Launching this week on: October 02, 2014, 09:51:56 PM
latest MAID dev update - preparing for TestNet 2 https://www.maidsafe.org/t/dev-update-sprint-2-8-september-28-september/

Indeed, potential for a nice rally in the few weeks upcoming. Wink

yes, i think some whale is trying to surpress the price and shake out some cheap coins while BTC is on the down trend.

personally i can't wait to get this thing running on my own PC

Doesn't seem to be working well, as the price has been steadily climbing for the past few days.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: October 01, 2014, 11:35:35 PM
Lets just wish away in this thread! Maybe it will hit a million dollars next month!!! & we might even see a unicorn or something!
I've seen a unicorn around these parts.

I heard that Bigfoot is buying BTC.
344  Economy / Services / Re: Signature campaign of tradefocus.net has been launched ! on: October 01, 2014, 10:53:08 PM
That website seems to be poorly made with lots of grammatical errors. Seems kind of fishy, since they claim on the site that they're based out of Delaware.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: maidsafe coin price rising? on: September 24, 2014, 04:13:44 AM
I had not looked at it for ages since coinmarketcap put it in the asset section. Maybe the fact it's the number one asset there is making it rise.

Same here, I had bought a few btc worth when they launched their IPO, but I totally forgot about them until today.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / maidsafe coin price rising? on: September 24, 2014, 12:56:42 AM
I noticed today that the price of maidsafe has gone up. Is there anything new in terms of development? I haven't heard any news or updates from them in the last few weeks.
347  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: September 23, 2014, 04:10:54 AM
Are they in any signature campaigns or anything?

I'd like to know this too, it makes a big difference.

The Sig campaign I was promoting is no longer available, so I'm willing to let this senior account go for 0.25 btc.
348  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: August 21, 2014, 12:13:09 AM
Bump, Still have 1 account available for 0.4 BTC
349  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: August 14, 2014, 03:39:46 PM
Bump, 1 account is still available. Buy it today while BTC is cheap.
350  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: August 12, 2014, 05:38:55 PM
Very risky to buy account with unknown seller, better try to buy with known seller.
Yeah, I know. For anyone who wants to buy any account on this site use escrow to check private messages, because the account can be restored to first owner with addy in PM if he ever sent to anyone, so he can prove ownership.

Yes I have sent BTC using the PM system. I used escrow to sell my other account and deleted all the PMs. It sold to a known seller, who is going to sell it for a higher price, so even then, the risk is the same, but the known seller's price is going to be higher than mine.

Anyhow, I'm willing to use escrow, so you can have them look at the account to make sure there's no PMs on it.
351  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: August 12, 2014, 03:46:37 PM
Bump, 1 account has been sold. I still have 1 more senior account to sell.
352  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: July 14, 2014, 12:29:07 PM
Interested in the senior accounts! Do you have skype so we can talk?

I have 2 senior accounts. Don't have Skype but feel free to message me any questions you may have.
353  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] selling senior accounts on: July 12, 2014, 06:19:02 PM
They are registered on campaigns that pay 0.1 btc per month for 50 posts.
354  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [WTS] selling senior accounts on: July 12, 2014, 02:00:35 PM
Price is 0.5 BTC for each account. Both accounts have neutral feedback, avatars and over 300 activity. They're part of my personal account collection, so all of the posts were made by me in good English. I'm willing to use escrow.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Edit: price has been lowered to 0.25 btc.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: May 28, 2014, 07:07:44 PM
What's your take on safecoin? I've been doing a lot of reading on it and I think it actually proposes some meaningful improvements over bitcoin with their proof-of-resource model. How well they can actually put it into practice though, is a totally different matter.
356  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC games? sort of clash of clans on: May 28, 2014, 06:53:38 PM
None that I know of. And if there were, they wouldn't give out any meaningful amounts of Bitcoin for free.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: May 22, 2014, 04:00:15 AM
Where are all the updates at relating to this project? I can't find any anywhere... Huh

You can find updates at the maidsafe Google group, safecointalk.com, and maidsafe.org
358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recovery Of Bitcoin From Dead Computer on: May 21, 2014, 05:22:28 PM
You should be able to copy the wallet.dat file from your hard drive onto another drive. My laptop died too, so I popped the hard drive into a new laptop, booted Linux from a live CD, then I copied the wallet onto a USB stick. It didn't matter that I had a password on the Windows user account. Unless if you mean you had a password on your wallet, then you'd have to remember it or you've lost $100 of btc.
359  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Increase in bitcoin value - Reason? on: May 21, 2014, 05:47:41 AM
It's probably a whale trying to pump the price so they can dump coins for more profit. After the whale completes a large buy, the sheep see that and start buying too, pushing the price even higher. Then the whale dumps those coins for a tidy profit. Rinse and repeat.
360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kb of a transaction on: May 21, 2014, 05:40:37 AM
How is it calculated? Can I control it?

I think it's about 180 bytes per input and 34 bytes per output, plus another 10 bytes. Just add all the inputs and outputs plus 10 and you should have a rough figure. Transactions sizes can vary from 0.2kb to over 1kb.
