341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Week (Dec 22-28) on: December 29, 2019, 04:13:39 AM
How sure are you that December 22 - 28 is a Bitcoin week? I think you should provide us with evidence backing this your claims and assumptions. You can't just make this assumptions without providing us with analysis and market statistics to back this. People in the crypto space believe in evidence and analysis. Please give us something to rely on to accept December 22 -28 as Bitcoin week.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest battle for Bitcoin's life is coming on: December 29, 2019, 03:58:53 AM
I hope everyone is ready for it, because it's going to be the biggest test in your HODLING abilities, and resolve.

What would transpire is the biggest socio-political/socio-psychological attack that the community would ever see, and it would involve state-level actors/governments.

Prepare yourselves. It's coming.

The main source of these socio-political and socio-psychological attacks is due to the fact that these people attacking bitcoin either have no knowledge and understanding of what Bitcoin is really is or have wrong information or knowledge of bitcoin and its main purpose in the financial ecosystem. Such people always wanna be in charge of controlling every activity in the financial ecosystem. Once they feel they are losing control, they attack without trying to understand.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be decentralized if the Internet is centralized on: December 29, 2019, 03:48:30 AM
First and foremost, you need to understand Satoshi's version of decentralization and financial freedom.  You should also understand that the internet is not really centralized as you may think.  Having the necessary tools, the internet is not centralized. With Bitcoin, the basic intention of Satoshi was to develop a digital money that will not require the verification of a central body in order for transactions to made. In order to avoid double spending, blockchain ledgers were created. This was meant to record transactions in encrypted cryptographic form and in order for this to be efficient, PoW consensus was necessary to ensure a stable blockchain network.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens to BITCOIN next ? on: December 28, 2019, 05:46:34 PM
It's good to use analysis by people to predict the next market value of bitcoin but there is always one thing people need to understand. This is that, the entire bitcoin market and ecosystem is 80% unpredictable and do not really follow the analysis made by experts. You just have to be open minded in order to understand some aspects of the bitcoin market...
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vending machines that use Bitcoin on: December 28, 2019, 05:35:12 PM
The addition of bitcoin as a method of payment on a vending machine  will not actually any problems so far the people using it have not with bitcoin bèing an alternative method of payment. And with the use of lightning network, transactions made will be a bit faster. Also, considering the rate at which the crypto ecosystem is growing,  using bitcoin to pay in vending machines will not be a problem...
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and bitcoin is Not good investment new era Next phase on: December 28, 2019, 02:57:59 PM
In terms of whether bitcoin or cryptocurrency is a good investment depends on the level of the investor's knowledge and understanding about cryptocurrency and investment in general. Without knowledge and understanding, you can't choose between hodling and daily trading. Investment is all about knowledge and understanding the risks involved in investing....
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: December 28, 2019, 12:14:52 PM
I always wonder how could an economy operate and run without taxes from cryptocurrencies. How could a government obtain taxes from people when people are completely utilizing a currency that is not supporting taxes. Would it be really good if we completely have our fiats converted to crypto? For me, there's always a way if our intention is good. We cannot really deny how government is providing regulation that is mainly for the betterment of us despite of some issues regarding corruption and frauds.

For me, the way we could still make it possible is to establish a local exchange wherein, if we convert our money to crypto, these local exchange could already have the portion intended for the tax of each transactions.

Considering the entire nature of the bitcoin ecosystem and the entire crypto space, its quite easier to set up a system that  can help the government obtain taxes from people using cryptocurrencies for their transactions made of the blockchain network.  Instead of the government accepting the use of cryptocurrencies, they can easily understand how to set up systems in place to actually tax people using cryptocurrencies in their transactions.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 27, 2019, 05:25:52 PM
First and foremost, it is a good idea to buy bitcoin at its current market price but the only problem will be that you might not really understand how bitcoin investment works. First, you should understand that investing in bitcoin is not a get rich quick investment avenue. Its just like a normal investment but with bitcoin, the risk of its price decreasing and you losing your money is very high. Once you understand this, you can join the bitcoin investment train.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 27, 2019, 05:17:51 PM
I've been discussing Bitcoin in a couple of forums, and I'm shocked by the vitriol and anti-Bitcoin passion that I'm finding. It seems that the mass media FUD has turned away the very people who could benefit most from Bitcoin. In contrast, Bitcoin is becoming stronger every day, and is moving towards becoming a store of wealth, and it seems to be moving into the ambit of the rich and the knowledgeable. I'm giving up on Bitcoin evangelism, and concentrating on fattening my wallet.

I thought that Bitcoin might become one of the currencies used by people when the fiat systems collapse, but I think this will only be a minor use. I believe that fiat cash will be used for a while, and silver coins could become a longer term solution. Of course it all depends on the cryptos that are introduced by the various governments, and whether there will be any trust in them.

This is very true. In my country, about 80% of the entire population have been fed with a FUD that Bitcoin is just an investment platform which has made some people lose a huge some of money. And this has been so because, scammers and fraudsters took advantage of the raise in the market value of bitcoin in 2017 to establish investment companies to lure people to invest in their so called bitcoin which will made them 30% profits within a month.  Due to this scam,  a lot of people in my country see bitcoin as  a scam.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: December 27, 2019, 05:09:05 PM
Well, I don't think youtube is just deleting video contents of cryptocurrency. There might be some particular reasons behind why these videos are been deleted. But personally, i haven't seen anybody who I have subscribed to their crypto channels complaining that their videos have been deleted yet. I think those whom their videos have been deleted might be breaking the YouTube terms and conditions.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time for YouTube to vanish ... on: December 27, 2019, 05:00:52 AM
There are some things in this world we find ourselves that might be very difficult to vanish from our ecosystem. Youtube for instance, is one platform that can not vanish from our ecosystem. And I don't really think these channels promoting cryptocurrencies were just deleted for no reasons. Probably the owners of these channels violated some of the rules of youtube.  With violation of rules, your channel is at high risk of getting shut down. Please try to get enough evidence to back your claims and aquisations.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To Find The True Value Of Bitcoin on: December 26, 2019, 05:39:33 PM

How to search and find the true value of Bitcoin!
Credit goes to @VinnyLingham, he was the first to spot this in 2014.

These information do not really say anything about the true value of bitcoin. The true value of any product is the kinda services the product provides in the financial ecosystem. The true value of bitcoin is the kinda services its providing the financial ecosystem and the financial freedom it gives  people. The true value of bitcoin is not its value in dollars on the crypto market but its relevance in providing financial freedom...
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 26, 2019, 05:29:20 PM
Recently Brett Sherman was nominated to chair of Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets. He will surely have the power to influence bills that can get introduced into Congress. He has been incredibly anti-bitcoin and will surely try to pass bills that will stifle the growth of the industry. Also recently BIS head has been advocating Central Banks begin to use digital currencies for themselves. This will surely play out as a way to out-compete crypto.

Discussion: How can they community rally together for what is to come? Are we ready for when governments restrict / sanction any capital flow into exchanges? How prepared are we for these things?
These people are just wasting their time trying to fight something they bearly understand what it is and its relevant importance it has.  Bitcoin has been in the financial ecosystem for ten years now and its ecosystem and market keeps growing.  Only ignorants will have problems with the existance of bitcoin....
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Make Money With Bitcoin? on: December 26, 2019, 05:23:37 PM
The only way you can actually make money with bitcoin is either you are a daily trader or you buy and hodling bitcoin for a period of time for the market value of it to increase.  Daily trading and hodling are the only reasonable ways to make some amount of money with bitcoin. Other ways are not really reliable and you can easily lose your bitcoin or money.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a global reserve currency? on: December 25, 2019, 05:42:58 PM
There is no doubt that Bitcoin can easily become a global reserve currency  but the only problem which might hinder this is how people understand and know bitcoin. The entire people in both the crypto space and the world have different understanding of what bitcoin is.  Some people see bitcoin as a digital currency  and others see it as an asset. This misunderstanding about bitcoin will be the only reason to prevent it from becoming a global reserve currency.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 25, 2019, 05:35:28 PM
I recently purchased bitcoin, it was the most I have ever put into a cryptocurrency.
This is going to be a long term buy, This was taken out of stock money,
Now that I have done this I feel more excited about
where bitcoin is headed than  I do about stocks. Now I feel like I should take more out of
Stocks, Feel there’s going to be more return this way. Thoughts on this am I getting carried away

Buying a bitcoin  is one thing and holding it as a long term investment asset is another thing. You should understand that knowledge and understanding are the key elements in investing in bitcoin.  I will advise that you should try and gain knowledge and understanding about the entire bitcoin market and its ecosystem. With this, you will understand the true value and purpose of bitcoin..
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 25, 2019, 02:10:40 PM
In as much that cryptocurrency introduces a decentralized environment, it does not really assure people that it is safe. The safety of the economy is solely rely  on how people understand how the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem operates and its vulnerabilities. Once we understand these vulnerabilities, we can determine our safety using crypto. Cryptocurrency will make the entire economy transparent and make transactions simple and easy but the safety of the economy solely depends on the knowledge of people in the entire ecosystem..

359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is This Why Bitcoin Suddenly Rebounded Yesterday? on: December 22, 2019, 07:49:15 AM
Coin Shares researchers found the average cost of mining a Bitcoin is approximate $6,300. So, the price jumped to $7,300 yesterday. And it’s profitable for the miners Forbes report said. What do you think?

There are a lot of reasons that can be used to describe why the price of Bitcoin rebounded back  to $7k. But i don't really think this could be the actual reason for that. You should understand that the volatile nature of the entire bitcoin market makes it impossible to actual get one particular reason to be the reason or the cause in either the increase or decrease in the market value of Bitcoin.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 21, 2019, 05:13:31 PM
The entire Bitcoin ecosystem and its market  can't be really be predicted considering the patterns at which the market value of Bitcoin has changed throughout the ten years of its existence. Its always better to keep and have an open mind for 2020. There are a lot of  possible  for the year 2020.
