I hate to watch such low scoring game because fans and myself didn't get full type enjoyment. Anyway Dhaka were looking in big trouble because they already lose his most of wickets and I am sure they will possibly score maximum of 135 around which Is in my mind not enough Target against kulna tiger to defend because they are already undefeated from start and performing really well so getting victory at this match will not be a big problem for them as target are already low and thus this victory will continue his winning streak too. 21 tests: 42 innings? How many more chances do you think he deserves? He is a great T20 and ODI player for sure, but he hasn't really performed consistently well in the test format which is why he is overhyped for sure.
He appeared in 39 test innings and so far with average of 29 he has scored only 2 centuries and 4 half centuries. I think he has been given adequate chances in test to prove himself. Gill got a golden chance to prove his test suitability in second innings but he missed that by getting out on duck. Indians just like Aussies got overconfident and that's why we saw Aussies and Indians losing game yesterday. |

I am still checking results and trying to figure out how West Indies won by 8 runs. i see a newspaper where published a news about this test match and written that: West Indies got first test victory from Australia after 27 years later. Didn't watch both matches till the end, but I was shocked to see both Windies and England winning their respective matches since they were the underdogs thanks to Hartley and Shamar Joseph.

Anyone following West Indies vs Australia? A lot was talked about Tagenarine Chanderpaul before this series. But so far has has turned out to be a big disappointment. In the first test, he got out for 6 and 0. And in the second test he made 21 and 4. He has made a total of 31 runs from 4 innings. Two decades ago, Ramnaresh Sarwan had a similar disastrous tour of Australia. Tagenarine's struggles remind me of that era. Anyway, West Indies has performed better than what was expected from them so far in the second test.

The results of today's two matches surprised me. England and Afghanistan cannot win today. But we considered these two teams as favourites.

BPL series, Rangpur Riders team won toss and their team first gave a chance to Khulna Tigers team came in field showed batting effort. This game was held on Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and today this stadium was lucky for Khulna Tigers team. D.Shanaka player got a player of game award due to brilliant effort not in batting but also in bowling. In batting lineup, D.Shanaka scored 40 runs in 33 balls with five 4s and one 6s H.Mahmud took his wicket. In bowling lineup, D.Shanaka bowled out 4 wickets in 3 overs with 16 runs his effort was outstanding in today game. But B.Azam was not played well and he just scored 2 runs and then M.Wasim took his effort and his effort in old game was brilliant and this was the first game in BPL series. Khulna Tiger won this game by 28 runs and they dismissed all player of RR team in 132 runs.
This is 3rd consecutive win for Khulna Tigers in current edition of BPL and they are now at top position on points table. While Rangpur Riders are not having a good BPL so far as they are standing at number 6th position after this loss. Nepal under 19 almost won against the Afghanistan under 19 team, this would been a very big achievement for them as they won this match, and on the other side, it was such a disappointment for them because Afghanistan big team struggled to make a name of their team and when they made then their youngster team has been destroyed it.
Can you imagine their required run rate is 1, if they made a run in a single so they can also win this match? They needed 10 runs to win in 9 overs, and they won this match because they had 3 wickets left and I hope that they will win without losing any wickets, and imagine if Afghanistan wins this match so nothing can happen because their record has been finished as they play in this, they won with the struggle against Afghanistan.
A very low scoring game, Afghanistan scored 145 runs before getting bowled out in 41st over. Aakash chand had an outstanding bowling figure of 8-0-34-5. This target should have been easily chased but Nepal lost 9 wickets in chasing this tiny target. Nepal won, thanks to their captain Dev Khanal 58 runs innings. Afghan bowlers were good but not good enough to grab the last wicket that could have taken take them to victory. |
