Yep I've seen them a low as $6.95 each. No boards and cables included of course. yea the boards are expensive. I got a couple for free so I use them, pretty nice. but usually I just solder a couple pins and make my own wires. normal sized female connectors fit right on the pins |

Thanks! That one change has made a bigger difference than anything else I've tried. I'm getting higher hashrates now but still see around 15% rejects at the top end (175 Ghs) with an average around 100 Ghs rejected. I'll play with those values and see if it gets any better. That seemed to lower my hashrate and rejects by about the same amount ... was still getting > 20% ... I've given up on WH/NH SHA for the most part ... an effective hashrate of about 800 GH/s vs ~1100 GH/s (< 1% rejects) on other pools with > 100% average luck means it's just not profitable ... and this thing is barely making me $3 a day now, so downtime while I experiment trying to earn an extra few cents a day just isn't worth it ... I do have WH set up as my primary pool, but with a price threshold about 35% higher than what the calcs say straight BTC should earn me ... if someone wants to pay an arm and a leg for SHA for some reason, I don't want to miss out on it, but I just can't make as much here with the S2 as I can elsewhere due to the massive rejects ... how did you set your price? |

im testing a antminer s2 in your plataform, but i got around 320 gh rejected and i have a difficulty of 2048. How can i make it work betteR?
I'm seeing the exact same thing with my S2. I have S1s and S3s cranking away at Nicehash with no issues, but my S2s get very high reject rates and huge swings in hashrate. I'm running the latest firmware and I did try running the stratum-proxy solution Nicehash recommends. I've played with difficulty and everything else I can think of but can't seem to get stable performance from my S2s at either Nice or Westhash. try --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1 it helps, but my s2 usually has about 100ghash of rejected |

Ah yet another hash power buy sell place that makes no sense in practice... Well whatever works.  ya doesn't make sense, i've been thinking about over n over and i have no clue why ppl would pay double what they can mine back for hash but i guess whatever i'll take it if they're willing to pay it...helps for diff. rate changes when luck goes to da crapper ive thought about it too. I think they are speculating on coins... |
