Are my suggestions so stupid that they don't even get a response anymore ?

I think you hit the nail on the head....
Are you serious ?
I'd suggest you finish that comment with a happy face or an LOL before you make my shitlist, douchebag.

WOW....  GRRRRRRRR

What ?
Am I on IGNORE ?
Are my suggestions so stupid that they don't even get a response anymore ?

Yes, very stupid.   No, its just something we're asked about all the time.  We've had a few pool ops want to setup a private pool for GPUMAX users.  We just haven't decided on or felt a need for it yet.

In fairness, he didn't (yet) eat the stone.

Yes, join our channel #gpumax on freenode and we can get you one setup.
347  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 29, 2012, 08:59:46 PM

Congratulations Danieldaniel, you are the winner for 4BTC!  You will love this stone- guaranteed!
I'm gonna pay when this stupid Dwolla deposit goes through.

If you really need it urgently, I can get some sooner; but it will probably only take until tomorrow.

Thanks!

So is this how you buy food too?  Eat it, then tell them you'll pay when you get the money?
349  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 29, 2012, 08:48:26 PM
Starlight, you may be able to gain more precision by setting the pool you're pointing hashes to an invalid pool. It would at least give you the possibility to pause your purchase.
tried that, didn't really work.

if i can make it work, i won't bitch and moan here.

it was fine at the beginning, where purchases were activated at the least within 10 minutes after confirmation. but now, it's within hours.
nuh uh, not acceptable. i don't really mind no pause button, but hours late?

nope.

that's why i say, might as well as change the name to gpumaxcasino for the buyers.

*edit
if i'm being mean, i'll pause my purchase by pointing to invalid pools, and let them bleed rejects until i want to continue using it.

....actually, that sounds like a good idea.
hmm.

The system auto pauses purchases to invalid pools and you have to wait through the queue again for it to try again.

If you don't like how the system works don't use it.  Trying to bypass how the system works is just going to get your account banned.

puhleez try to release purchase 15-30 minutes after being confirmed.  Sad

Sorry, will never happen.
the fuck.
ಠ_ಠ

no automated purchase ever?

Automated Yes, timing it based on a specific amount of time, no.
apparently i accidentally a word on my previous post.

*at least

so i guess automated will be based on queue?

Yea, like it is now.
351  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 28, 2012, 09:09:33 PM

I'll break it down for you..

the 12a-12a cycle works best for keeping days separated.  When you say Tuesday's payment, you know it was all of Tuesday, not Monday/Tuesday vs Tuesday/Wednesday.

The reason that payouts happen at 12p CST is that is mid day for Pirate, so he can still monitor payouts.  Can you imagine what would happen if they were set to occur at midnight, he was in bed, and something broke?  You'd be all over him.

Just backspaced my post... That's about it.

Once we know the system is working right then payments will be faster if not instant but I don't like waking up to pissed off people.

If you don't like it, please leave. Otherwise, take it anyway you can get it.

You are coming off as unappreciative for pirateat40 making THE BEST mining service available.

@pirateat40 Whatever this guys is hashing at, I will gladly purchase more mining equipment to up my hashing power to your service so you no longer need his services.

Buy it up then and all I am asking for is some consistent payment method you people may be fine wondering what the hell is happening with your payouts fine you continue on with that, any other time I see the bunch of whining bitches on here screaming their heads off when their payments are not made on time.

It's just you whining and bitching. Sad

I am hoping that there isn't a half day hold on funds (ie. cut off time 1:00am, then payments sent 12 hours later).

Pirate, could you clarify please ?

That appears to be the case with todays payout everything up to midnight CST last night payed out fourteen hours later...

Ever mine on Eligius?  Sometimes you can wait for days before you get your payout.  Does your job pay you each day right as you are leaving work? Chill out.  14 hours isn't that long, really.

Never have mined that piece of shits pool and chill out really, I stated a fact of what happened with the payments according to my calculations of what was owed to me at that time. It is long past due for these boys to have a working payment system none of this when they get around to it then paying you. They get paid in advance for the work done so unlike pools there is no need for the BTC to be maturing causing a delay in your getting paid. In short if it staying as it is eg. no user payout option available then pick a time and stick to it so people know what is happening with their BTC.

Doing payments manually was an easy thing when we started and focused on other issues.  Now, its at 2 hour job just to get everything setup for payments, so we decided to get the payment system working and this is the result.

If you have a problem with how we're paying you, then I suggest you stop using our service and wait until we have everything fixed in the beta.

Very soon, others will be having their own playdate Smiley

I wish I had more friends to play with. Sad
358  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 28, 2012, 04:04:47 AM
It's not really a problem as much as it is people buying shares on pools that can't handle the load which we are still fine turning to protect our miners.  Updates coming soon will address this and make buyers pay for rejects on pools that have issues so the miners are not penalized for it.

EDIT: We get a lot of pools ops testing their system which is not something miners should have to pay for with rejects and stales.
Over a very extensive sample, I have a .78% reject rate. GPUMAX's tends to be MUCH higher when doing leased work, hard to figure without the figures being broken out, but my current rate is 1,674,816 accepted, 79,673 rejected, or 79,673 / 1,754,489 ~ 4.54%, and I think the bulk of that comes from the public work. I would gladly accept not being paid for up to 1% rejects, but I think anything above that ought to be paid for by the buyer.

Agreed and it's in the works.

Was that todays payment that was just sent, if so there is something wacked about it it appears to be less than half of what it should have been.

The payments was from the last payment up to 1AM this morning.  We have switched to payout for each day.

Well still short then as it happens I write down my earnings every once in a while at 1am my time 11pm yours I had 7.03 on my worker at 4am my time 2am yours I had 7.75 or roughly .24 an hour so at 1am your time I would have had 7.51 when the payment was sent today I had 10.29 3:30pm my time 1:30 yours so 10.29-7.51 = 2.78 I received 2.07. I would add this is the first time it has ever been off by that much usually it is a .0? one way or the other when I figure it out probably the difference between when you calculate it up and send then my noticing it.

All of my times are CST, so that was up to 1AM CST.

Yes figured that out as I said in my edit while you were posting.

1AM this morning... but feels like last night.  Going forward they will stop at 12AM CST.
