so if he removed blake2b, will it be slower?

It wasn't just blake.. It was a lot of other stuff as well

Download links are empty. Could you fix it?

+1 Claymore, it's empty!

If i had to guess, either the licensing is being fixed or code functions are being rewritten or binary is being packed to prevent further auditing.
Take your pick Wink

Claymore, do you feel you are entitled to rip / use other people's code in your miner?

https://forum.z.cash/t/silentarmy-v3-now-a-full-miner-multi-gpu-stratum/3580/641

Ouch! Claymore could have just included the copyright notice and there wouldn't have been any problems...
silentarmy's optimization is actually pretty clever, and the original author definitely deserves a credit.

This makes you wonder how much of other people's code Claymore steals without giving credit.
Other of his binaries are "packed" to avoid disassembling. Gee, I wonder what he is hiding.

I have submitted this to the forum mods. This thread should be locked until Claymore can answer some questions regarding MIT licensing. mrb clearly thinks his code has been infringed.

I think, that 2.5% fee is enough also for other developers (mrb, genoil, nicehash)

This isn't a question about the fee. This is about outright stealing other people's code and not giving credit where it is due.

any body know how to set fanspeed gpu at ubuntu 16.40??
cause at sensor, speed just run max 30% with temperature 78-79C,
make throttling..
i try to modded bios, but not make change..
im appreciated for solutions...

For my 6 GPUs:

echo 150 > /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0/hwmon/hwmon1/pwm1
echo 150 > /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.0/0000:02:00.0/hwmon/hwmon2/pwm1

Good job for v1.1.  The Linux version is a bit faster than my optimized silentarmy kernel... for now.  :-)

Nay, your version is actually faster than Claymore's on my RX480's

Here, it'll give you around 44-45 sol stock.
Modded rom as you can see does 50+ avarages around 52 at this moment.

Thanks! 6 x RX 480 on Linux:

Total 300.0 sol/s [dev0 51.2, dev1 48.7, dev2 46.0, dev3 50.1, dev4 52.5, dev5 47.0] 510 shares
Total 298.6 sol/s [dev0 51.1, dev1 50.2, dev2 47.0, dev3 50.6, dev4 51.9, dev5 47.5] 515 shares

Do you know of any CPU miners for ZEC that is better / faster than Nicehash's implemention on Linux?

A 480 does better..

Pity ZEC price is plummeting...  Cry

https://www.whattomine.com/coins  .. Still 3 times more profitable than any other coin?

HD7950=RX480 with 50 h/s
OMG!
Yap  Grin it's great .. the only problem is that 7950 consume a little bit more then RX480 (  from what I saw , one 7950 consume ~ 270 w)

a bit more?Huh

I'm getting ~35 sols out of my RX 480 4GB consuming less than 40 watt!!!

No heat, no noise, no GPU stress!

That's efficiency!

Using what rom?

for litecoin not zec or eth. consume half that

ETH is about 30% more hungry on power than ZEC ming
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.0 on: November 05, 2016, 09:28:07 AM

Half of my rigs crashed during the night while the automatic reboot didn't even work.
6 GPU rig of RX480 seems very unstable with claymore. It almost never happened with genoil ZEC miner.

I guess I must look into lowering voltage and clocks. They were all stock settings btw.

Why use Genoil when you can use Silent Army v3?
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.0 on: November 04, 2016, 05:31:36 PM
Well done. 2.5% fee is a bit high ...
Working very well on 280(x)
Good job

I reserved some space for reducing fee in future Smiley

Is there a way for devfee to bee mined on the same pool as set? Because it`s take a long time to switch beetween polls?

If you mine on pools that accept ZCash wallet directly, miner will use same pool. If you use pool that accept Login.Worker instead of wallet address - miner cannot mine devfee there, so it has to use some default pools. For large pools I can fix it by creating accounts on these pools, but I did not do it in first version.

10 seconds before dev fee is about to be mined, couldn't you pre-open the connection and get ready for the switch?
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.0 on: November 04, 2016, 05:18:10 PM
Congrats on the release Claymore.

In my case, 6x RX 480, around 280sol while the latest silentarmy one does around 300.

Will let it run for a while to see what the pool says..

Greetings.

300 on SA? How exactly? What CPU are you using? oO
