341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impressive bitcoin one liners for non bitcoiners on: September 30, 2011, 05:14:34 PM
Bitcoins are the most efficient and cost effective form of exchanging value.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade-Btc.com Brand new Bitcoin Exchange, buy sell and send Bitcoins! on: September 29, 2011, 10:50:51 PM
The site looks pretty decent.  But I must ask, why should anyone trust your service when you don't have any business or personal details on the site? Not even a phone number?

Also, assuming people trusted you, what competitive advantage do you offer over the other exchanges? Your advantage will need to be significant to get started, because your volume is currently zero.

Can you address these questions?

+1.  Anonymity and running an exchange is not compatible.

Privative everything.  I want to see 2 IPO's in my lifetime: the USMC and the CIA.

350  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DONOR THREAD for #OccupyWallStreet Bitcoin Promotion on: September 28, 2011, 09:12:20 PM
I tend to agree that "end the banks" may not be the best message here.

I don't think anyone here realizes that this is sponsored by socialists and revolutionary Communists using resentment against Wall Street for a recruiting drive...
351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoinexchange.cc is not delivering what they promised on: September 28, 2011, 08:22:50 PM
Sorry to hear about this.  It is never good to send large amount to a new vendor for a first time transaction.

A PSD is fine.

Are you talking about a redesign of the entire site or just the "game-area" itself? Both?

Just the items listed above although if you have great ideas for the entire site I can up the ante with a bigger bounty.

Guilty until proven innocent.
358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So, let me get this straight... on: September 28, 2011, 04:27:43 AM
The government forms some regulations over the past century or so and by coincidence or some act of misfortune, the corporations--the same ones to be impeded by these regulations--use them to their advantage and fuck everybody else over.

Some kids get mad and they are protesting Wall Street for playing by the rules?

[Political theater.]

...and getting bailed out by the same government that's supposed to be keeping them in their place?

Yeah, it makes perfect sense. It's not like the government is supposed to be a force that's accountable towards its constituents or anything.

You have to be kidding me.  Government isn't accountable to anything but an act of God (a legal term).  And their will still be a government long after everyone have departed the earth.

Yar matey's!

http://www.bittleships.com/ is in dire need of a retrofit/makeover.

I have a 3btc bounty for anyone who can clone the image of the site with the best 1) background image, 2) water texture (16 x 16 pixels), 3) ship images (perhaps with flames and smoke?).  Additional ideas or suggestions welcome.

The runner up will get 1btc, community votes counted.  Kiss

After watching the video with audio last night it seemed like he was just trying to manipulate the market.  Something about his nose just says untrustworthy.
