In my opinion, it will not be able to beat the bank because banks have many functions, such as money transfers, giving credit, savings and time deposits, safety boxes for safekeeping of valuables, etc. that are not all owned by bitcoin.
But for financial transactions I believe that bitcoin can be an alternative to simplify and accelerate because of peer to peer, and more and more user.

but not all airdrops are useless, there are some very good airdrops. we only need to find the right project for that.

In this kind of IEO involved some bots and scripts! Exchanges do not care about fair participation for all, if they do not fight it.
Money and so collected,even from one participant who came from multiple accounts.

There are several things that make a good investor. For me, thorough research should always be at the top. You really have to know what you are dealing with and understand the risks involved before taking any actions. Another important factor is controlling emotions. We must understand that cryptos are susceptible to volatility and we should always have the patience to wait for the best time to gain profit.

So, what does KYC mean? I always hated that thing, mostly because I feelt it is an unnecesary leak of information.

With these times and all the shitcoin scams and real waste of time and money I came to the resolution that we need a new meaning for KYC.

Know Your CEO.

The best way we could prevent or atleast act in the case (most certain) of one of any new project being a scam is selecting a number of trusted users of the community to verify the "Team" of any coin just the same way we are verified in most sites.
Since most of the new coins claim the "Team" is the people shown in the pictures they shouldn't mind verifying it to this peculiar non snitch trustworthy gathering of users.

In the case a project is to be compared to bitcoin or ethereum and the team crave anonimity you shouldn't need an ICO or could provide code before launching and provide a service.

Any ideas? Would anyone actualy ask for this before investing? and keep the word and not invest without the check?

I think it is more than a fair price for trusting someone with perhaps thousands of bitcoins.

You are right OP, always invest only on long projects and on coins with some history because if someone or more people will start invest on new coins and something bad happens with then money invested will be lost.

I think you have to be careful when you want to buy coins when moments like this make sure that the price of bitcoin really goes up and the price increase is not just a trap, because there are so many cryptocurrency price traps that keep traders trapped at high prices.

I think I would take 50% in bitcoins or more, as bitcoins are the most important coin to hold.

Rest of that portfolio would I would use to go long in EOS, NEO, Stellar, Litecoin, and then 10 to 20% on an exchange where I would go into short time trade on different tokens. That cut be everything from an hour to a few weeks.

Like pointed out earlier, regulation is very important(atleast to a certain healthy level). Confidence boost can only return if investors see cryptocurrency as an avenue to make money and not loose it. The more scams or fraud are perpetrated in this space, the more potential investors evade the market.

I definitely agree that we need to adapt constantly... and if on a bull trend is easier to have profit, on a bear trend is not so easy (good thng that these last few days the market seems to be moving)
People are loosing money because they are always looking for high profits... the "get rich quick" still embeded since the last bull run is still present... I think you are right when you say that smaller profits, less risks, accumulation....
While loosing, instead of becoming desperate, people need to stop, think, and change strategy...

Majority of the ICO will still use the old style of raising money, there is a payment in IEO and we know that not all of the team
that are trying to run an ICO has enough funds to get their project listed in IEO.
People can choose, ether they invest with the new trend, or still remain with the old.

The current movement has begun to increase in a good direction, but for investment it is better for altcoins who already have markets such as xrp etc., because I strongly believe that investing in new ico is still very risky and even if you want, you should do some research first .
