Saw both this and the Ironman render and I have to say I'm impressed! With this talent you could surely start searching for some good projects. Keep up the good work!
342  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is love more than just a chemical reaction? on: October 01, 2019, 12:41:20 PM
As it stands scientifically love truly is nothing more than a bunch of chemicals flooding our brain and synapses firing rapidly. But at the same time, isn't our entire life the same? As a great post once said :

"We are a brain, piloting a bone mech, who is wearing meat armour." It goes to show that life, on a materialistic level, is a simple concept without much behind it, as far as we know.

Now if someone needs to explain such functions as something higher, something more than what science gives us they are free to do so. Although I might not follow them in that same thought, I won't ridicule them either. As for me, yeah, sure. It's not like those who are close to me would mean anything less just because my affection towards them has such a simple explanation.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online Shopping on: October 01, 2019, 12:30:41 PM
Nothing can be only advantageous, right? You can probably evade a lot of the hassle of going through hell to figure out if your product is gonna be in good condition when it arrives, let alone be work if you stray away from sites that are not widely established to be trustworthy. Remember the golden rule of internet exchange "If it is too good to be true, that is probably because it is.". Stay within the realms of established sites like amazon and even if they are reputable like ebay still keep an eye out. I mean you get to shop from your home with a click, there has to be some trouble.
344  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ghosts. True or false. on: October 01, 2019, 12:24:41 PM

I cannot say I have had any weird experiences of the kind, at least not any that could not be written off as nothing more than being scared while being home alone at night. But saying whether they do or not exist is of course way too definitive for such a subject. They could very well exist, and even some real documentation to exist somewhere, internet or not, but it was written off as fiction merely because of too many people crying wolf too many times. In the end, if someone tells you that ghosts exist treat the evidence with A LOT of skepticism, and if they tell you they don't with no evidence, which is normally the case, just ask them the one fatal question "How do you know?". If the answers to both cases are nothing more than speculation then just go about your day.

345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: September 29, 2019, 08:36:00 PM
I wholeheartedly agree with your take. I cannot call myself a hardcore christian but I do occasionally pay my respects when at a church or saying a prayer. It of course could be written off as me being influenced during my upbringing but I have found these small acts to provide me with some form of safety, like it's a part of me. I do not see the need to distance myself from the idea of belief completely, since the best course of action is simply to not expect anything, but rather see for myself. But I do believe that many of the teachings of many religions across the world are flawed and barbaric by today's standard of society. That is to say that although there have been some really bad, entitled and egocentric apples I have met some incredible people through my life such as priests that are hard working and kind people. In the end, religion should not decide ones life and more importantly it should not decide others opinions towards that person. I personally treat it as another attribute of someone who is ultimately just another human being like me, and I treat his beliefs and his religion with respect, since berating them and downgrading their beliefs won't bring about anything.
346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: September 29, 2019, 07:56:01 PM
Yes it has been scientifically proven through many ways, the most simple of them all being that the average temperatures thought mankind's latest decades has had quite a growth.

https://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/upsDownsGlobalWarming.html

And yes the widespread usage of cars, the rapid development in the industrial domain, one that needs a lot of energy thus leading to an excess of exhaust fumes in the atmosphere, and even stockraising are important factors. If we do not take immediate steps towards a solution such as heavier regulation on the safety procedures of factories, such as filtering, and environmentally friendly sustainable forms of energy, we could very well have a big problem in our hands.
347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NOTHING! on: September 29, 2019, 07:34:13 PM
Although the use of a decentralized form of currency would definitely have some advantages compared to the government established medium of fiat money, it is safe to say that it is far too early to be expecting immediate action taken by the majority of the population, let alone businesses. Such a change would ultimately need to be done overnight, by a large part of today's market and for already established laws to exist concerning matters such as the payments of employees. It could create a variety of issues such as creators of new cryptocurrencies approaching various businesses and striking deals concerning the payments of their employees and the buying and selling of their products, ultimately creating large conglomerates of companies that operate only with the coins that provide them with a reason to, forcing smaller companies even farther out of the loop and creators of small coins with great difficulty at kickstarting their projects. A market which provides such freedom of exchange could be manipulated far more easily than an already established and (somewhat) full-proof monetary system that is enforced by the government. I am of course not saying that we should forever stay on fiat money since we have seen what kind of disasters it can bring but rather than asking of others to simply "See the scam" or to "Make the change", we should study that plan and ask the question "Is it too early?" and "What can I propose to make it possible?". Remember that fiat money money wasn't established after mere years but had to go through a lot of trial and error to stop perpetrators from abusing the system and causing inflation, something that couldn't be done through the era of trade. So there are always things to iron out when such big changes are done.
348  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: September 27, 2019, 06:41:57 PM
There is no one way to remain happy through all of your sad times. One important factor that I highly advise against listening to is the quite common types of answers such as  "Life is worth living and one single instance can't knock you down", "There are people out there that have to go through their lives with depression and other severe mental illnesses you can fight through it", "There are wars and other horrible phenomena all around the globe so you should be able to get better" etc. Such responses, although they may have been written with good intentions can be quite harmful to a person who is undergoing such feelings. It nullifies their pain, making their suffering seem like an insignificant matter, which can lead to a disconnect with your feelings, which can easily lead to heavier forms of it, like depression. My advise would be to understand why you are sad.You need to confront your feelings and treat them accordingly. Sometimes they can be nothing but a whim, while other times can only be described as an irrational fear, a pressure on you that is asphyxiating. But a lot of the times a very good response to something like that is to simply vent them out. Be it you sitting in your room alone wandering down some paths of your mind for no other reason than to wonder, angrily throwing a small fit of rage cursing your bad luck, or talking to friends, are good ways to free those emotions. In my opinion the most destructive thing that you can do is to hold those quite strong feeling inside you. It can easily allow them to grow and subsequently consume you. So through my experience the best way to remain happy is to not allow your sadness to grow, for being sad is not bad, but on the contrary I believe it to be a fitting pair to happiness, but allowing your sadness to grow too much can be catastrophic. And to top it off with you making this post you have so many people lending you a helping hand, each to their abilities. And if that isn't a reason to feel a little less sad, then I don't know what to tell you.

Seems interesting , but i would prefer if you could accept NANO instead of BTC . I believe that NANO holders could back a project like that so consider NANO as an alternative payment .
Looking forward to see how the development will evolve .

It seemd devs dont know what is this "HALVING"

https://medium.com/@uplexa/halvening-vpns-steadfast-storm-update-e5980d45b0a7

Quote
Currently, our daily emissions are just over 3M UPX in which are rewarded to PoW based miners. On November 1st, 2019 — block rewards will be around 4,100 UPX per block (one block per two minutes, 1440 minutes per day = 720 blocks * 4,100 = 2,952,000 UPX per day).

After such "halving" emissions will decrease from 3 mln to 2.95 mln per day?  Grin

I reccommend them open Google and read what is this Halving.

Quote
Halving comes from an Old English word meaning “half”. In cryptocurrencies, mining is a computer process of recording and verifying information on the digital record known as the blockchain. ... Halving is the reduction of the bitcoin mining reward issued by half.

With such big emission and max total supply coins price will decrease and decrease every day (

It's sad to see dumb people consider themselves geniuses . It is very clear in the article but it seems that you either can't read or understand what it's written . If you need help just ask the nice way .

A really interesting project, but could you tell me if it is worth considering your coin as a long-term investment?

We don't see our project as an investment product and certainly i cannot give you an advice regarding this . We would like to have in our community people that understand what we are trying to achieve than "investors" . To be honest we would like to see more developers onboard . This is a project that no other like it exists . You have to understand that our team has nothing to gain or lose from the price ups and downs . We are working voluntarely and our motivation comes from our love about XEL . What i can asure you is that we are doing our best to move this forward . Development is ongoing ( even if it's slow ) .
