341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Giveaway! on: May 08, 2013, 03:06:32 AM
Ive been using Ripple for a while now and I forgot to reply in this thread (doh)

I know this because I finally stumbled across this thread, remembered that I forgot, checked my account to see if I really did forget, confirmed by seeing my 45 XRP, and now am here with my tail between my legs.

Any XRP would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Awesome!

I havent had a chance to figure out what I am going to do with Freicoins. I just love any new cryptocurrency and all the creative ideas and challenges that come with a new development.

Holding the Freicoins for a while is my immediate plan. I shouldve held my BTC longer Sad

Thanks to the OP for the 20 free Freicons

Try this one: http://pool-x.eu/
[/quote]

I approve of Pool-X. Doesnt go down all the time like NoTroll. In does. Fees wont change, etc...NoTroll moved a little faster for me but I eventually got a lot of stales. Plus it goes down all the time. Only downside to Pool-X is the 5 LTC minimum for Withdrawal. I wish they would change that bc its going to take me a long time to get there.
345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is miningunited.com a SCAM, turning .1 bitcoins into .137 for almost free? on: May 06, 2013, 08:41:26 PM
Here what is amazing...anyone who has claimed that Mining United was a scam, or they were never paid, or were very late being paid, never can produce a transaction to show the proof.

Im on an gchat right now with a friend of mine who is in the Coin Visitor chat. This site has a bunch of n00bs that all claim that its a scam. Not one can produce a link.

Furthermore, I have spoken about the integrity of Coin Visitor before. So, I suggested that my friend give one of the trash-talking mods there some BTC to buy a package from Mining United...

Guess what?

They are claiming that its been three days and they havent been paid. Yet they will not produce the link to the transaction. LOL!!

These are the same dishonest creeps that had to shut down their site last time they couldnt pay Smiley

BTW, stay away from Coin Visitor. Even their mods have zero integrity and are thieves

If anyone cares to look, here is the address Iam using for the pool. Again, I am only detecting new blocks every 30 seconds or so. No shares

I am trying to point my cpu miner at the feathercoin pool. It seems to be helping find new blocks But I dont know if I am going to create any coins or solve anything.

Maybe I dont know what the hell I am doing at all. Should I just stop and go back to getting slammed in my LTC pool?
352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm buying XRPs on: May 04, 2013, 11:51:19 PM
What a great person to do business with!!

Communication was fast

Payment was even faster!

I would recommend this buyer to any forum member thinking of selling their XRP (Ripple) funds. My payment popped up before the PM to me letting me know that payment was made.

One thing that is great about Bitcoin and the Alt Currency community is that you find some great people that become invaluable resources. This member is one of those that we all need in the community.

So, there are giveaways on each 100th post but then is there supposed to be 10 DVC given to every poster?

If so, I will gladly take 10 DVC @

358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [GIVEAWAY]Get 5 FREE Devcoin! Faucet running(and additional 20 DVCs!) on: May 04, 2013, 05:49:24 PM
Hi,

I'm developing a faucet for Devcoin (perhaps the 1st faucet for DVC?Cheesy), and the site is
http://faucet.d.evco.in or http://d.evco.in/faucet/
(I hope this url is easy to remeber  Wink )

The giveaway is based on round. Currently a round is 20 submits(this number might change in the future), and 100 DVCs per round (which means currently every submit gets 5 DVCs). An address and IP can only submit once per round. Repeated submits will be ignored.

Thanks for creating a Dev Coin faucet! I just have a couple of questions:

1) I was the 20th person to submit. This ends the round. But does that mean I can go right back and make another request? I dont want my ip/address ignored for too frequent a request being made

2) I tried to contact the Dev Coin folks who were asking for help writing about Dev Coin on the wiki and elsewhere. So far I have not received a response. Does anyone have any idea of how I can contact those folks to help them out?

3) Are you still giving away Dev Coins in this thread?

DVC: 1K1Y2ggvHBttkor6K3EayZjr3qLrRAvgKf

Thanks

On the DEV Coin Wiki the writers said they would pay people in Dev Coins if they wanted to write for the site or write on the topic of Dev Coins

I have followed the directions and tried to make contact to no avail. Has anyone;

1) Attempted to contact the folks responsible?

2) Been able to get a response?

3) Been given any assignments or areas to contribute to?

Thanks. I am hoping to help out for a small dev coin reward. And I am also posting here hoping to get a dev coin reward as well Smiley

I can never understand any of those stupid charts. Right now how much xrp do you need to buy 1 btc?
