341  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: May 31, 2016, 06:12:30 PM
A roundup of new developments over the past two months:
1. We launched a fee-based exchange featuring maker-taker model.
2. We launched our trading API.
3. We now accept deposits through Alipay
4. We now support WeChat for easier login
5. Our hashrate reaches an unprecedented 70PH

What to expect next?
6. A mining pool - expected to launch over the next two weeks
7. A mobile app
Nice, I look forward to the mobile app and checking out your pool.  Just please do not SPV mine or mine empty blocks with your pool!

Good luck.

Can someone confirm whether this is correct or not?

My current bestshare on cgminer reads "1e+003k"

What does that mean?
Someone else posted that, too.  I thought it was this thread but can't find it, might be cksolo pool thread.  Anyway, I think the answer was it's a bug and to ignore it.
343  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: いい antrun.de - Antrouter R1 Fun-Run - compare your share いい on: May 31, 2016, 06:06:45 PM
I got my R1 back up, still tracking an issue down and the gekko stick is off but the R1 is alive again.  Had a nice 7M share right before the solo block was found and reset everything!

Hopefully Caanan responds shortly with a new miner of their own.

That's what I'm hoping for!  I refuse to support Bitmain and their empty blocks by buying new hardware from them.  I'll buy second-hand bitmain gear from a 3rd party, but not from "the man" directly.  I don't expect to see used S9's any time soon, though.  However I do expect the price on the used S7 market just dropped out from the bottom, ha.

345  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread May 24 to June 6? picks are open!!.... prize = 0.10 btc on: May 31, 2016, 05:57:07 PM
0.098 is a beautiful number, not sold on grabbing batch 1 units with that price though.
It's an interesting gamble Bitmain is taking releasing these now.  There's no way to ROI before the halving, so you are gambling that they will be able to pay for themselves after the halving, which is uncertain.  I will not buy new from Bitmain, I refuse to support them directly, but once some 3rd party deals start happening I'm going to have to get a 16nm machine, the efficiency is just nuts.

So much network growth, for example check out HaoBTC, they were 9PH when I first deposited some coin with them:
5. Our hashrate reaches an unprecedented 70PH

Hopefully we'll stay ~flat this period, but big changes are coming for sure.

+0.7% = Mikestang

My R1 is back in the antrun, and just in time because a cksolo block was found, so a new round it underway!

You're finding altcoin blocks while rented out to nicehash.

I have to take my fun runners down for a bit while I chase down a problem, they'll be back soon.

350  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee] on: May 28, 2016, 06:16:24 AM
The last block the pool solved was 410235 BCMonster 05/05/2016 07:55:35, so you might be mining somewhere else and got and altcoin block.
351  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread May 24 to June 6? picks are closed!!.... prize = 0.10 btc on: May 28, 2016, 04:31:27 AM
[conspiracy]Would it be a 38% attack if they use it that way?  I would think that if it became obvious that diff was manipulated (not saying it hasn't already been...) then the price would tank once people saw what was happening; it would be a self-defeating attack.  Or are we seeing it happen that way now?[/conspiracy]

My block chain is syncing, so I am unable to check this myself, but can someone tell me if we are current on payments, or still owed a week?  Thanks.

This is what I've been hoping for!  At some point it will not be possible to run the megamines for the reward they receive.  Here's to several hundred more PH dropping off the network!
354  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASICPuppy.net - DL580 1200w/800w PSU Breakout Boards in Stock! on: May 27, 2016, 05:55:24 PM
Hooked up the Avalon6 last night and powered it via 120v.  It ran all night just fine at 3.5TH, 11.9v, pulling almost 1100W at the wall.  Temps on the miner and psu looked fine with my infrared thermometer, but I could tell that the psu fan was kicked up a couple notches vs. were it would spin when I ran it off 240v.  Wish I still had high voltage at the new place, I might pay to have an electrician add a circuit, but good to know I can at least use my Avalon again!  I am going to send it off to be hosted anyways...

wow.. 11PH of gear, cant imagine what that would look like or the power it would consume. Glad your mining with us not against us.
That's like over 3000 Avalon 6's, it would look like any of the videos of the big data centers that we can see on youtube and stuff.  Would be cool to see some pictures, though, especially with kano.is showing on a monitor or two in the photos.
356  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff thread May 24 to June 6? picks are closed!!.... prize = 0.10 btc on: May 26, 2016, 06:04:07 PM
We might see a flat adjustment, but I doubt we'll see significant negative until after the halving, if even then.

Looks like the burn-in test of the next gen hardware is over.  My guess is now we will see the last gen stuff coming offline and being resold to make room for the new gear, and then the difficulty will go up up up.  When will we see a 500G difficulty?  Undecided
357  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ASICPuppy.net - DL580 1200w/800w PSU Breakout Boards in Stock! on: May 26, 2016, 05:58:09 PM
he is running the avalon 6 with zero issues at 120 volts.  between both of us  we have run the avalon6 for more then 40 days zero issues.
Well wow, I wouldn't have thought to even try it at 120v to run my Avalon.  But your success makes me rethink, and I'll have to try my Avalon tonight.  Even though it works for you my mind looks at the numbers on paper and says it shouldn't work.  I just don't want to burn anything down...
358  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 25, 2016, 10:12:06 PM
There is just no way to keep things decentralized when money is involved. People just need to accept that and move on.
At some point, either after enough halvings or if the price drops enough, it will no longer be cost effective to mine bitcoin on a large scale.  At that time all of the mega mines will close up shop and we will be back to small-time "home" miners securing the network.  I cannot see any other way bitcoin would ever go back to "the way it was".

I do not have 30 posts, but I am an active member of the Bitcoin community and would very much enjoy playing the game.
Is there a way I can get a pass so I don't have to spam 30 posts?
Rules are rules for a reason, if he made an exception for you (who, by the way, provided no evidence of who you are, just some links; hey, I own the whitehouse, evidence: https://www.whitehouse.gov/) then he would have to make an exception for everyone.  If you are active then you should have no problem qualifying by the next round.

You're not even wearing the signature or in the campaign, why do you care?
