341  Economy / Economics / Re: what are the causes of the continuous plunge in Bitcoin? on: September 02, 2018, 01:47:25 PM
Bitcoin just like Forex react to either positive or negative news. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much positive this year and hence, the continuous downward price movement this year. Hopefully, the ETF will get approved, perhaps that would bring the much anticipated bull run.

I'm totally against Bitcoin ETF to be honest, its just open to market manipulation. Remember that you actually don't own the private keys, its the custodian who will make the trade on bitcoin. So who ever that custodian will be powerful and can totally manipulate the price on their favour.
Right, I remember when a lot of people were paying so much attention as well to futures market, and rather than looking at how it would have actually being about some huge number of manipulators in the space, too much focus was on it with respect to some people even calling moon most of this period.
I know ETF would bring about a lot of institutional investors into the space, but as you said, it would just make the space even more manipulated than it already is.

342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: September 01, 2018, 11:48:42 AM
My game is craps.
It is always interesting to see how the night goes on that.

Well, my game is dice because it's simple and easy to play. All you need to do is hit the "Auto Bet" button (if you don't know how much of the bet to place) and you're done. There are strategies around the web, such as Martingale strategy, which sometimes work when playing this game. However, it's not always that way, and if you get carried away, you can easily lose all your money playing it.

Another game which I've started to play is called Slots and is quite simple too. You can win most of the times playing it by just placing a bet and hitting the lever. However, sometimes luck is not on your side, and you tend to lose more than what you win. There are other games which are fun to play, and perhaps better rewarding than the ones I've mentioned, but they're much more difficult for me to play.

Nonetheless, I've found out that most gambling games are quite fun and enjoyable to play for hours. Smiley
Although chances of making money in sports gambling are more but it is still not so easy like dice and slots gambling, because in sports gambling we need to study the teams the weather condition, the strong and weak points of individual players, you need to calculate all the strong and weak points of the player and take a decision on it.

Well, for those who are looking at the easy way, it tends to be more risky. Every form of gambling is pure luck and while some totally depends on luck entirely, in some you can still make use of your analytical skills in making your bets and in this case I am referring to sports betting.
Nevertheless, anyone who wants to gamble should know right from the start that everything is still totally based on luck. I prefer sports betting though, since it actually makes more sense and even make the game even more interesting most of the time without forgetting your fate is dependent on the team you are betting on.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Do People Dump Their Precious Tokens With Ridiculous Low Price on: September 01, 2018, 11:38:05 AM
As a natural deal in the market, sellers always want to sell high and buyers always want to buy low. But the reverse seem the case with those sellers who dump their Crypto coin or tokens for some very low and ridiculous price. Thus that's not a natural market deal. What really is the reason why people dump? Have they got enough crypto gains that they need no profits no more?

Fear is one thing that usually makes people to change their decisions by cutting the loss or dump their coins/tokens. Afraid that the price will actually go down even deeper if they keep holding it is normal. Emotions can change everything including plans that have been carefully made.
Fear of the unknown is actually one major factor. However, the main factor I will like to point out is ignorance. Some are just so into the ideology of getting rich fast that they forget to understand that life is never fashioned that way and only if they could realize this before they will be able to attune themselves to the mindset of being patient for it.
All they are after is just getting out as long as they are able to get something out of it even at loss, and forgetting this will always be a strategy for them to get thrown out of the market as a weak hand eventually.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: August 31, 2018, 01:40:32 PM
Quitting a game after loosing is the best way to avoid more lose of asset , As a gambler I do stop playing after loosing and came back after a day or two , not by regaining my lose on the other day but to get a profit or to win on that day. I make a schedule of playing gambling and the worth of asset that I will play for the day. On my move, I think I can avoid bankruptcy in playing gambling.

Maybe you can avoid bankruptcy but you are on your way there, even though you are not losing one time big time, still, a lost is a lost, the bottom line here is that you are still losing your money. Rather than having an interval on playing gambling, if the outcome is still the same and you know it, why not just completely get yourself out of the game, there is no point on playing if you are not making any profits at all.

If you are going to say it is just for fun, well you are indeed having fun but what about your money, there is no fun anymore if you don't have any fiat left on your wallet, it is all about getting practical.
The funny aspect to all these is that the outcome will always end up being the same and that is losing. This makes me to always say that anyone who can simply not get used to the aspect of losing from gambling should not even be gambling at all.
Gambling is a game of luck and the last time I checked, luck is one tough son to beckon to order as it would do as it pleases. So, anyone relying on luck entirely without sticking to their own principles if they at all want to gamble is busy looking for the worst case scenario from gambling eventually.

345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everyone loses money when the market is down right? on: August 31, 2018, 01:29:07 PM
I think yes, iam also loss much money. I did some mistake in trading, when the price of crypto going down more than 50% i use new money to buy more coins but the price keep down. I did not use stop loss because iam was believe the price will going up. But i will not loss until i sell all that my coins, so now i wait for next bullish of crypto.
Except you are going long and buying the dips with few funds after another, trying to buy the dips as a trader is one silly mistake to ever make as you will be left frustrated and hanging if the market decides to keep going lower and you have completely run out of funds.
You should always have a good strategy before entering any trade and should as well have all it takes to make good calls when it comes to stopping loss and looking forward to buying back lower. Without this knowledge, you are going to be picking huge loss eventually.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: August 31, 2018, 01:10:53 PM
Lets hope that this month or next month will be the end of bear market volume and start for a new bull run market until the end of this year. Its been a few months already when the bear market start so maybe this coming months will bull market already.
People still have good expectation from bitcoin price, they are expecting that very soon bitcoin price is going to reach to 20k, and therefore they are still trying to hold their bitcoin and not sell in such a low price.

Well, selling in a low price is one thing no one in their sane mind should be thinking of anyway. The market may not have reached the bottom, but I can sense we are getting close.
Now, getting close could be $3000 or lower, but for what is glaring, we are strictly in a bear trend still and until we possibly start forming a higher high and higher low before that sentiment can change which for now, we still have the opposite. This trend may end at any time soon as per all of our expectation but we need to stop spreading FUDS and must come forward to invest so that market trend will bounce back to $10k levels.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: August 31, 2018, 12:57:13 PM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?
I think we still have a lot of way to go but also have been doing some stuff wrong which will set back a bit. First of all we are using a currency like bitcoin which is volatile to news from bigger parties, also we have been afraid of the technological mind behind it with 51% attack etc fears.
I think we should focus on fixing bitcoin first and then move on focusing on getting bigger. If we get bigger at this stage than we may attract some shadier rich people who will try to do their best to make money off bitcoin than actually use it and improve it.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Device Do you Trade on and Why ? on: August 28, 2018, 10:51:13 AM
I invest only on my pc, my mobile phone is a smart phone (iphone) and it can do all the investment and all that from it but I still like my pc more because I can use it a lot easier.
However, I have one of those portfolio checkers on my phone (blockfolio) and I keep checking how much I made or lost from that, it is great to do price checking and all that but when it comes to really do a proper investment I want to use my PC to check and research the coin as much as I can and I do not do it on the phone like invest on the road or quickly or anything like that, I do it sitting down and spending DAYS before I decide to click "buy" button.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: August 28, 2018, 10:35:32 AM
I will continue to invest in both stock market and crypto market. For stock market, I will invest in those big companies, because it is less risky. For crypto market, I will keep holding my current coins. I may will look for new investment opportunities as well.
Yeah, stock market is less risky but a time is coming though when the crypto space will be considered less risky as we get to see it become more like the advanced stock market with a lot of great opportunities worldwide. But compared to stock markets, cryptos will get us big benefits for sure. If we analyze how crypto currencies have performed in the past then you will choose only cryptos by leaving stocks.
There is certainty that a lot of tokens and coins in 5years time would be big, so imagining all I have invested in ICO till date booms, in 5 years’ time, I should be planning to build myself a conglomerate and diversify further into offline investments.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where Do you Trade and Why ? on: August 27, 2018, 11:24:11 AM
Hello guys,
I would like to understand what is the safe and easiest platform to trade Cryptocurrencies. Desktop or Mobile ?

So Where do you trade and why ?

Thanks

Mots of the time I am spending my trades time over the mobile/smartphone. The thing is im also full time employed person and I have no time to trade it over the PC or dont have access to the crypto sites within my organisation. Also that would be unethical practice to do as its again the policy to try them out.
So im just keeping it over the smartphone so that it would be easy for me and no one notices that too.  Grin
I use desktop sites sometimes but that only when weekends or holidays are up front.
Gone are those days most especially for long term traders to start having to stay in front of the PC all day long, except for day traders anyway as they simply do not have any choice.
I only trade just very few selected coins that I can monitor and doing short or long term trading on a mobile app is so easy. I found that a problem at first since I needed to be able to do some analysis but since I bumped into tab trader, it was like all my prayers got answered in one single mobile app.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: August 27, 2018, 11:02:13 AM
So far I have not been able to earn a lot, but only recently I started working with the crypto market, I only improve my knowledge, but as the market recovers, there will be excellent prospects for earning money.

Like a ceiling limit? There is literally no limit aside from the volume. You can invest on the coins that gets pumped up and if you are lucky and hit all of them at the right time you will get a lot of money but you can't join in like with 100 bitcoins and expect to get out with 200 bitcoin or something, volumes are not
that high anymore anywhere.
When considering few real life application linked altcoins, we may profit some big money like in millions but we also need to consider the risks involved with them. Hence we cannot invest all our money into altcoins to profit the maximum.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what profit do you need to close the long position? on: August 26, 2018, 04:54:35 PM
If you are a long-term holder, what profit do you need to close the position?
For example, I need a minimum of + 400%

Lol,  man 400% is too much, 100% is even okay for me. Well,  it all depends on how much I invest,  if I invest a huge amount of money, 100% to 200% profit of the money I invested is really okay for me. But when I invest a little money I do seek for more profit .so it’s all about how much I’m going in with,  but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t cut loss when I’m supposed to.
I usually do not look for fixed profits but I look for trend changes. Because, I am ready to book even 5% of profits rather than waiting in the opposite market trends. Small profit is much better than losses or waiting for big profits.

353  Economy / Speculation / Re: situation about the condition of bitcoin ! on: August 26, 2018, 04:28:17 PM
when we see the situation of bitcoin prices that are constantly falling, what can you do? is it only enough to read articles about information only. ask for instructions and suggestions. Thank you for the time.

regards

indoagung

I think, it is not just enough to stay updated to some of the articles and news letters to stay updated and get some help regarding holding your coins, but indeed you can make some of your own research and study about the dips and pumps which would give you better information about storing your coins and selling them at a proper pump.
Bitcoins are getting down due to some internal issues and i think that these issues can be solved and bitcoins can again have their price back. This could also be much challenging for the holders but it will truely give some excellent profits ahead.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: August 26, 2018, 03:59:20 PM
i should to hode bitcoin, this is great ideas. i think so, if you sell now, you must to lose money

Well that is exactly what many among us do. When the market is not good for trading. But the value of Bitcoin is experiencing appreciations and depreciations in the value which is a very usual thing in every market. Bitcoin technology is not going to fail due to the price fluctuation because of the fact that it is still the start of the technology and in the start, the marginal benefits tends to be high rather than low or reduced. So stay calm and hold your coins when the market is down.
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has Arrived in Thailand..... on: August 26, 2018, 03:30:20 PM
I really like that bitcoin is used as a payment unit and probably over time it will be in every state of the world !

That would be a dream comes true if Bitcoin is used in every state all around the world. It will even make it more worth of being a cryptocurrency and the value will be very high if it gets accepted all over the world. Bitcoin is still not recognized in many countries and it is a great opportunity for the people for Thailand to invest in Bitcoin in a time when the price is down. We are in the recovery phase and soon the boom will give away the profits to all those who have been confident enough to hold in times of adversity.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is profitable coin? on: August 22, 2018, 12:51:35 PM
for now you have to forget this because we need to wait patiently until the market will recover and only then they are more profitable and trustworthy, for all there are no coins that are profitable. because all coins are now falling. including btc and eth.

Crypto world is full of profitable coins in which some coins are for short term while few are for long term that is the Bitcoin and Ethereum. In order to make huge profit we have Bitcoin and Ethereum but you have to suffer sometimes and in those situations you need not to panic that is a clear danger. Try to buy in low market conditions which will benefit you the most even in the buying time and as well as the major benefit is in bull market.
Definitely bitcoin was the highly profitable coin in the past which may get repeated in coming months also. Hence investing bitcoins in major percentage is always recommended even we are searching and investing with other coins.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 22, 2018, 12:36:27 PM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Bitcoin is the method for you to take the prefix of your additional prefix. If the valid point is well, you should think bitcoin will be a method for your money for you.

Bitcoin is a digital currency while stock market is something else of investment, digital currency like Bitcoin generates huge profit for you while other are lower than Bitcoin.
But, you have to make sure that you know everything and every skill to handle conditions here in the Bitcoin market to make proper decisions. It will take your time to get experience for that you will have to start with low amount and then continuous processes for several times will enrich you with experience.

358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: August 15, 2018, 10:55:46 AM
I think trading is better than mining, especially market conditions that are difficult to guess and seem to decrease while maintenance costs still even increase so that it is more difficult to profit if we are mining, while trading is simple.

I am not trading right now because do the cost and benefit analysis and it is not just profitable to do the trading right now because you do not earn good money when the price falls or when the market is a bit down. About the mining, I would say that it depends on the price of the mining and you have to decide if the price of the mining is less than the price in the market, you can do mine the coins.
Whenever the price of the mining becomes equal to the price of Bitcoin in the market, you are just left with no incentive to mine anymore.

359  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: August 15, 2018, 10:43:20 AM
I don't think that will happen because it will make your smartphone damaged, if you can produce it will be damaged someday and you will get a lot of losses and the results you get from mining on your smartphone will not be able to recover.

You are wrong, it was possible today, there are some applications that can mine cryptocurrency in your phone so all you need is a wallet address like ledger to keep your coins.

Well it can be possible to mine Bitcoin with your phone but it might not be very secure. You can forget your phone in a café or it could be lost easily. Besides, phone can be hacked very easily as compared to your PC you use for mining your coins. As the technology advances, there would be a much safer way to mine Bitcoin using your phone. Besides, you do the cost benefit analysis before actually going to perform the mining activity.
Using smart phone for mining coins will become as a new technology in coming days which may be another revolution similar to how we have masternodes.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: August 12, 2018, 06:43:02 AM
I think long-term and short-term is also a good way we can do, because seeing the bitcoin price spread also increases, so I think we will hold both

Irrespective of the term of investment, as long as you can earn money, you are better off with that. To be a bit more technical, a long term investment gives you huge money only if you make investment in the right coin in the right time as to maximize your future profit. Normally Bitcoin and ETH is preferred for long term investment. The rest of the altcoins that are enlisted in the top ten positions are good for short term investment and incur you short but quick profit.
