341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does ICO projects became an April Fools? on: April 02, 2019, 05:14:01 PM
I have always judge many of these projects too by this until recently I learnt not to judge every project that has dumped as being completely gone and dead, one of my mentor made me understand that some projects purposely dump the coin themselves so a to keep it relevant in the market till the market picks up.

I have also read this quite number of times but what I don’t know if this is the real situation or it is just a made believe thing, many project developers has been looking for a way to prevent their coin being dumped, initially many don’t enter exchange immediately till their project is perfect but some enters and gets dumped, so the only corrective measure is for them to dump first and still keep the investors in the coin.
342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why we shouldnt panic sell on: April 02, 2019, 01:26:10 PM
it's inevitable that some people will panic when the market takes a steep drop. It's how other people deal with seeing their own losses. And whatever we do, it can't be changed. Some people do well under pressure, some don't. I place myself in the former rather than the latter. Losses are inevitable and the more we accept that, the more we get our emotions out of the way.
Like you rightly said, panic sell is something  that will always happen in the market, we will always have newbies and those that are not so good at risk taking, panic sell sometimes can be fun, because it makes trading lively.

It is necessary for some to lose and some to gain, everyone cannot be a winner, it is now left to the trader to choose and be determined to be part of the winner group and try his possible best not to fall prey for panic sell and those who are eagerly waiting to take advantage of their weakness. The only thing I can pray for is that many of investors who panic sell still have little left they can bank on when the market eventually picks up.
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: April 02, 2019, 12:49:33 PM
I always patient waiting for bull market in crypto because i very believe this will coming soon or later and i dont want to miss it. In 2017 i missing big opportunity to make huge money because i sell all crypto in 2016. So i dont want to make the same mistake again.
Wew! I can imagine how painful that would be, just one more year wait made you lost it, well you can see it has served as a lesson to you but I can’t say if it has for others, I bet that so many people will not learn from your experience because they don’t understand how it feels until they get themselves in it, thank God cryptocurrency is an industry of second chance.

There will always be chance for every one that loses out, just like you have waiting now to get your second chance, I have my own too and I am also waiting for that mistake to be corrected, every of crypto users that got their money in for the purpose of investment just have to be patient a lot.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 02, 2019, 11:38:52 AM
As compared to the Q1 of 2018, Q1 of 2019 saw a dramatic decrease in amount of investment done on ICOs. The amount collected by ICOs has been decreased by 58 times as compared to previous year.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/report-icos-raised-118-million-in-q1-2019-over-58-times-less-than-in-q1-2018/amp

Edit - It's not just 5100% but is 5800%
Honestly, it might continue this way till ICO investment becomes zero and disappear into the thin air if nothing is done about it or scammers stays off it.Scammers really did a lot of damages to the ICO and jeopardized chances of other good projects from successfully getting investor and not only scammers, even bad projects too contributed to this.

However, there are still chances of ICO surviving if we can exempt ICO from this decentralized system we are talking about and get it regulated, otherwise we all stick to the IEO projects and hope that it will end up same way ICO ended up becoming. We also have to keep IEO projects free of bad projects by still making sure we invest in right project and not give chance to bad projects having our money.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Efficient exchange? on: April 02, 2019, 09:22:01 AM
The cheapest on fee if you can do KYC and want to buy with fiat money then i think coinbase is for you, (pro coinbase), but if you want to use another to just exchange your altcoin to bitcoin or bitcoin to altcoins then use Binance, is the most safer and easy to use.
Funny mate, when did coinbase become cheaper than Binance and in what way because for now, which is even all over the internet and anywhere you want to search it, Binance still has the cheapest fee from trading to other fees.

Expect it is of recent that coinbase outrun them which I am not aware of or read anywhere, so if you could shows us proof, then maybe I will believe you, have used coinbase in the past before I finally migrated to Binance after several other exchanges has disappointed me, though coinbasehas never disappointed me in transaction but I migrated to Binance because of their very low trading fee.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: April 02, 2019, 08:50:47 AM
Crypto is way to make money, but yes there was some scam projects and was also some owner of exchanges who exit scam with people money (coins), for safety after buy any coin try to secure your wallet or pc where wallet is and make sure is the original wallet and not a fake one, and also if possible buy a hardware wallet.
Wrong perception about crypto, do you know that there will be a point in life, when everyone has adopted cryptocurrency, and we will not be able to make profit again from crypto except you trade it? Why? Because by then, cryptocurrency would have taken its main course of using it strictly for utility and then you will virtually see very little price moment like the normal fiat currency once it becomes stable and the only way to make money through it would be like the normal forex trading way but this time around would be strictly crypto trading. So for now, we can enjoy the moment while it last.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency actually the global version of Dark Net? on: April 02, 2019, 08:26:00 AM
The topic of Darknet comes with some unbelievable stories and it’s a type of mystery for many. But a lot of people know that it exists and how much it is damaging several countries.

And since last 4-5 years, with the rise of Cryptocurrency, we have seen it used a lot for such activities. So, is Crypto the next version of Dark Net, but in a more acceptable manner and something that involves the youth? Read out this article about the Dark Net and Cryptocurrency combination.
I do not know much about Darknet, I am not interest and I think it is absolutely irrelevant.  Cryptocurrency is what I know, it has been useful to me and it has succeeded in solving virtual all my financial issue, such as easy payment, income generator and many more, since the main reason why it was created has not been defeated and I don’t think its objective can ever be defeated.

I see no reason looking at darknet, as they say, curiosity kills the dark. I understand that we need to also widen our knowledge to catch a glimpse on the things around us but not a comparison of another system that will end up making me fall into the hand of a scam system if I check it out.
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we are the beginning of a new bullrun? on: April 01, 2019, 07:22:16 PM
man i figured the bull run wouldn't start till late summer or early fall, but with the price the past 6 weeks or so steadily rising and continuing now at $4100 it could be starting soon. Price is at the top of the bottom range now. Will be interesting to see if it falls back down in the coming week or two or if it breaks out into the mid or high 4000s.

I could see either way happening.
How did you figure that out, was it through the chart of the past data? Personally I don’t base the present market condition or function on past data because every period has a different happening but buttressing your point on the recent happening, I strongly have the belief that the market has recovered and slowly walking on the bull run lane.

So, what we will just be experiencing now are increase in price little by little in which people will be adapted to it as it grow till it finally heat its all-time high, It may be this year and may not be but the following year is quite very certain for these coins especially Bitcoin.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market will be recovery current year 2019? on: April 01, 2019, 06:51:37 PM
Recovery is relative, now the price of bitcoin has recovered in my opinion. But for some others this is nothing. Because they are oriented to the price of bitcoin in 2017. For that I remain at my position. That is, bitcoin has begun to experience recovery.
We just have to try and understand with people who still strongly believe that the market is not near recovery because of the investment mistake they made in that same 2017, I have read in many places where some investors bought has high as 18500 dollars price mark them.

What would you think of these people’s view of the market now, price is not up to 1 quarter of what they invested in then, but for those whose investment id far below the current price or a little bit above the current price will definitely have a different view of the current market, but generally speaking, the market is gradually coming out of its recession.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin will run up to $5,000 by May' on: April 01, 2019, 06:27:11 PM
I'm sure that the believed in bitcoin's potential, but you have to understand that it's an asset. And usually investors doesn't throw their money around, at least those wise investors.

They might be just waiting from the outside and will just invest on it when the market really turns into green, meaning, confidence is back, the price is bouncing and recovering very good and that a eventual bull run will happen.
I think it is high time they start waiting, the market is already green enough to put in their money now, the money they fail to pump in now is what is still delaying the market now in typically becoming very green, see how the market is doing well without their input and the way market is going now not to talk of when those waiting outside comes in.

Bitcoin might even witness that $5000 value sooner than later which technical analysis is gradually even shifting the time back from May to this April and it is quite clear from what we can see in the movement of BTC for some few days back now. So, let us encourage them to please come in now. Now is the time.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who are they behind ico? on: April 01, 2019, 04:54:18 PM
The team is behind the  ICO. We should be able to check them by name, profile, title, work experience etc. In fact it is very important to check them when making investment decisions.
Yeah sure, it is very possible and easy to know the team behind a project based on their whitepaper and the faces they put on their website even though the ones that are scamming does not put the right profile up but to really know the person that has the idea or initiated the ICO is quite difficult and many of us always think it is the project owner is always the initiator which is wrong.

I could own a company and have no idea of what ICO is and it could just a junior staff in the office that will bring up the idea of ICO to help the company rise for to better their existing project. So, the idea of knowing who the TOP in an ico is not feasible.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: April 01, 2019, 04:04:57 PM
I'm not at all surprised by the results of the polls. Because I see that now there is a chance to make a very serious investment, but it seems to me that the majority always loses. Therefore, you need to play against all.
Looking at the poll, the majority here is Bitcoin and Ethereum and these two is still classified as the most serious investment and coins far stronger than other coins, so I don’t see any supporter of these coins losing out at any time, because the project they engaged themselves in is very valuable and will always find its way to the top.

Most of these people still get more profit than every other altcoins investors out there, no matter the amount of profit they have gotten in the past or recent from some altcoins, it cannot still be compared to that of bitcoin during its ATH that happened last.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy you apply in recent bullish market? on: April 01, 2019, 07:36:51 AM
No one can con-firmly say that this coin will go up or down, everything depends on how much analyse you have done and how much risk you can take it. Some coins will give you profit but some will also give you loss. You have to decide how much profit you will book according to it you have to risk it.
If one can do his or her analysis very well I am sure the ratio of bad coin to good ones will be very low, especially now that we have IEO projects and I am sure that any portfolio built up by IEO projects will virtually be good  and great gain in the future.

It is much quite risky now and waste of time to do much analysis on most ICO projects we see now as many of them do not have a sustainable product that will lead their project to a bright future although we still have few ICOs that are struggling to meet up to the standard. Analysis for me only works on existing project and not these new ones.
354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes newbie makes in trading resulting to losses on: March 31, 2019, 08:48:13 PM
Before entering the market you need to prepare yourself psychologically. In fact, I would say that the loss of the first deposit is very useful.Sift out the weak and make it clear their mistakes strong. In this area, money is the best teacher.
This is vital but only applicable to newbies because I don’t think anyone who already is a professional needs to be thought on how to always prepare for trading psychologically, majority of crypto trader must have in the past engage themselves in forex trading which I expected them to have learn all necessary trading etiquette before joining the crypto currency.

Although, crypto market is far more volatile than forex trading and many traders who are not new to trading uses this volatility  as an excuse for their failure. Experience is just the mother of success, every trader must carefully gain enough experience especially trough demo practice before going into live trading.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Standing out in a sea of ill-conceived projects on: March 31, 2019, 08:20:09 PM
Well, crypto is relatively new and this ICO companies are very much new as well and might take a lot of time for them to fully understand and learn how business works, even during the origination of the internet, we had a lot of companies coming up this way every day until there was a correction and the good ones stood and then the upcoming ones learnt from the good one and were able to deliver after their pattern.

I think it's same we are experiencing in the crypto world and very soon it's all going to change.
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: March 31, 2019, 07:43:29 PM
During crypto trading I never sold panic. I prefer to delay selling rather than harming my assets. Because I'm sure the crypto market value will return good.
I don't think so . Everyone has a bad mentality when the market falls and it is very easy to sell panic in the market. I think anyone will experience this feeling and it really makes it easy for us to feel bored, making our investment more difficult. I personally sold panic many times but I was able to control myself better by turning off the computer and not watching the value of the coin
That use to be the case before, when everyone use to feel so agitated about the market but now that virtually every investor aside newbies has already had experience in the past which has taught them the necessary lessons they need to learn not to panic sell, I doubt if any old investor will still fall a victim of this.

I am not saying 100% of them are perfect but at least 80% of them and if there is need for them to sell their coin at any low price might be as a result of financial challenge they need to resolve that is beyond their control and the investment, otherwise, no old investors will sell their coin again.
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms on: March 31, 2019, 04:09:43 PM
But with the existence of many IEO projects successfully and achieving the target of collecting their funds, I think that with the funds achieved, the project will develop.
This is one of many reasons why I am a bit skeptical about IEO too till further notice which time will tell, if you carefully take a look at ICO, you will get to see that most ICO projects that ended up collapsing actually reached their hardcap and even with the funding, they still collapsed, so I don’t think funding is actually the main reason why many of them are collapsing.

I just see their collapse as lack of quality projects that will make the ICO continue to function well after the ICO. So even in IEO, yes they will get their full fund but it is still no assurance that they will succeed because I don’t think their success is tied to funding alone.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto Currrencies failed to solve the Problem?? on: March 31, 2019, 03:31:21 PM
Being a Crypto currency lover for a long time . I loved one thing people believing on solution or Solution for the problem using crypto currency . Not only believing even they were investing . But i found lots of solution were just fake promises . Lots were submitted big white paper with lots of hopes only with the intention of raising funds . Do you find any currency really solve the problem??
I believe you are talking about ICO projects and not just crypto currency because there are a very big difference between both of them. ICO projects are projects that are still yet to become crypto currency, they are still at the stage of raising funds and until they are able to raise the expect amount of funds, it haven't become crypto yet.

Crypto currency itself have the ability to solve a lot of problem, we have seen this in bitcoin how it have been able to solve a very big problem in the financial world this is why it will always be the father of all crypto.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs impose a minimum amount on investors? on: March 30, 2019, 07:58:57 PM
I am not talking about the private sales and pre-sales. I am talking about the main sales.
Don't you think ICOs should allow people to invest any amount of money they want? It will cause the tokens to be distributed among more people.
Assume that 1000 people are participating in an ICO and each of them is investing only 1 dollar. Don't you think they are more helpful than a person who is investing 1000 dollar?
Better to consider a maximum amount instead of a minimum and do not let the whales manipulate the price.

I am agree that ICOs should not put minimum investment and let retail investor come to the project. Its more fair and more holder is good for long term. If whales hold most token, price manipulation could happen and i think its make the project like speculation for short term
This is quite true, they might probably not see it this way because of most developers selfish ambition, their goal is to quickly sell of their token irrespective of the number of investors, instead of placing a minimum order, what they should have worked with is maximum amount an investor can put into the systems at once, this will give opportunity to many other investors and at the same time disable the ability of one single entity to hold a very large portion of the coin that will result to dumping when he/she decided to sell the coin, if they limit it, there will be balance between holding and dumping.
360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction also a result of trauma? on: March 30, 2019, 06:51:15 PM
you can feel trauma when you've got a huge loss from gambling. But I think that scenario can avoid you from serious possible addiction. Meanwhile, you did not encounter that you better to minimized on gambling habit and control your self in doing that. Indeed, gambling is just for fun, not a source of income and chasing money on it.
The question is? Would you wait for that thing to happen on you?

If not then better avoid it on the earliest phase of gambling. You should not treat it as a source of income on the very first place nor engaging too much time and money with it.
Just limit all the funding and the activity.
This is the main problem that many gamblers are having by not avoiding such thing until it backfires for them. I don’t even know why gambling should be played as source of income, I see many people who see it this way as an nonserious person that needs to get a better meaning to their life.

In my opinion, the game is best played for fun. Well I don’t know how it feels to experience a traumatic experience out of loss because I don’t play what I cannot afford to lose. Self-control is very important for those playing for money. Try not to be greedy, because an huge loss can actually lead one to trauma.
