341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: June 27, 2016, 01:36:43 PM
Of course it does have a future. I personally believe that all currencies have a future, though it is very likely some will disappear and only a few will stay. Like BTC/USD/EUR/ will be the main ones

However when the halving comes, BTC will just bomb. I believe it will interest a lot of people because of its new price tag which I can't wait till it happens.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: June 27, 2016, 01:26:08 PM
Personally, I also believe that it is being used for some of the illegal activities. First of all, some countries consider online gambling as an illegal activity, so that's where BTC comes to place.

However I don't think that the government does really care about the cryptocurrency being in use, that's why they don't really focus their time on it and doesn't "hunt" for people that gamble etc people.
343  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 27, 2016, 12:55:28 PM
Me personally, I actually am like many other people, I spent bitcoin on the investments, sometimes gambling, buying some stuff. Though I store some and wait till halving comes.

However, the thing I really like the most about it is the wait game, it is such an unpredictable currency that you can never know whether or not is it going to be big or not.
344  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 27, 2016, 12:48:56 PM
I wouldn't really let the kids near BTC at all, it is not very good thing to do... Also teaching kids how to gamble at very early age is probably one of the worst things a parent can do.

However making him do work for real money is more practical than making him gamble. Him learning why making money is important and what it takes to earn money is one of the best way to teach a child.

346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: June 23, 2016, 04:48:27 PM
Let's see the LakeBTC's graceful charts, during this period when drop $2 per rise $1  Angry

How do you keep the profit? If cant, how do you stop loss? please share your strategy with me, thanks!

My strategy is pretty easy but it takes some time but it also gives lots of profit, i buy currency when it is cheap only, and sell when expensive

And when i see that price of that currency falls down and i havs some coins, to stop lose i just don't sell them and i wait for price rise
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: June 23, 2016, 04:44:33 PM
Is there anyone who has booked the profit by selling the btc when the price was around $400 ? I have some coins but missed the opportunity and the prices are down again. I was hoping that the price will go beyond $500 but unfortunately it crashed.

Actually i did and i got lots of nice profit, as i bought bitcoins for 360$ each and sold them for 410$ each so i got profit

And when price fell down to 370$, i bought more bitcoins and i keep them even now when price is700$ as i will sell them only for 1000$
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginners guide to trading BTC? on: June 23, 2016, 04:40:58 PM
Is there a beginners guide to trading BTC? I want to know a good strategy I could use to successfully trade BTC and alt coins without losing profit (if it's possible).

Below is a list of coins that I currently hold:

Bitcoins = 0.03398223 BTC

Litecoin = 0.13 LTC

Dogecoin = 5974.18 DOGE

Casinocoin = 2.50 CSC

Ethercoin = 2.80 ETC

Tamagucci = 133 TAM

Mooncoin = 435880.5555555 MOON

Paycoin = 80 XPY

Ripple = 30 XRP

I want to become a successful trader. I'll appreciate if you could give me any hints or tips. Thank You.

If you don't want to lose profit, then never sell currency for price that is lower than price that you bought coins, as this way you won't lose it

And sell only when price is larger than price that you bought them, and try to buy coins when they are pretty cheap for largest profit
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: June 23, 2016, 04:39:11 PM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!

Quick and fast can't be together, as for example gambling is very fast way and will give you profit, bur sadly it is very, very risky too

And way like signature campaigns is very safe way to earn, but it won't give you 0,3 btc in wrek for sure so it so pretty slow
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: June 23, 2016, 04:36:09 PM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me

What i did to learn about trading : i cheked price charts of past months and even years to understand how price changes, that helped me a lot

And then you just have to find site that lets you trade small amounts, and buy currency when it is cheap, and sell when expensive
351  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 23, 2016, 08:17:50 AM
Just wondering when everyone buys bitcoin, weekly, monthly or just on the falls?  thinking of setting up something regular to ride out the waves.....  Grin

Personally i buy bitcoins only when their price is low , and when i need money asap i sell them for more, so i vuy only when price is low

And there's no correcr number when to buy, i buy when i think that price is low enough  to buy, usualy it is 400$ and lower
352  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 23, 2016, 08:15:52 AM
Buy or develop your own time machine and go back to 2008 and mine BTC on the computer at your mothers house in the basement

Well this would be possible if we would have time machine, but since we don't, there are other ways how to earn money with bitcoins

Like to buy bitcoins now and keep them for month, because after halving price will huge so people will be able to sell coins then to get profit
353  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: June 23, 2016, 08:13:56 AM
For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?

Well if you will buy it right now,before halving, i am sure that you will get lots of profit from bitcoins if you will sell them after halving

Because i am sure that price will rise, and it will be larger than now for sure, anf buying bitcoins is always good thing to do

354  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 23, 2016, 07:55:04 AM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

I think that it is pretty easy to understand that in futurr there will be either less paper money, or no paper monry at all, we use less each day now too

And i don't think that paper money will be ever banned, because people are used to paper momey and not other types of money
355  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 23, 2016, 07:52:58 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Well if you're too busy to keep eye on price each day and so on then i think you could place that money to bankt and keep it there go get more

But if you have time then you can invest it into gold or maybe even better to bitcoins, as thid way you can get more profit than from banks

Bad news abounds in bitcoinland, did you read the news about the round table? Coinbase CEO just published a damning report. We're in for a steep loss.

Read it and weep:

well after this huge price rise, from 420$  to 600$ and still rising, i don't think that price could drop anytime soon as way too many people buys bitcoins at this moment so it won't fall down

only time when it can fall down is after halving when same people that bought bitcoins will sell them to get profit, so price can fall then, but even then price won't fall below 500$ i think
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: June 14, 2016, 05:18:09 AM
I began my career in the bictoin . In 2010 the bitcoin was worth 0.01 euro , now a bitcoin worth 400 euros. I ask myself a question: what will be its value in 2020 ?.

A friend told me that its value will be 10,000 euros. Shocked

Sorry for the spelling for I am french . Wink

Thank you for your replies Smiley

many predictors says that, that if price was very low in 2012 and now very large, that same won't happen in next  4 years, in 2020, even if it would be awesome to see 10000 euros price

but we all know that price will be larger because of many reasons, bitcoin will be more popular so many people will buy bitcoins then so it's price will rise of course, maybe to 3000 euros
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: A lot of salty people right now on: June 13, 2016, 10:57:58 AM
All those FUDsters that like to gather on this subforum saying we would never reach 400, then 500, then 600... they keep getting proven wrong, they stay poor while we become rich

#winningteam

actually  i missed them these days, and i don't know why but usually i don't see these posts anymore these days, but i'm not sad at all because of that because people like these are annoying

they always say that bitcoins will die and price won't ever rise to more than something, but they lie usually so that makes me even angry sometimes, but now when price is so large i am happy that they are gone
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: I locked the profit - SOLD ALL COINS on: June 13, 2016, 10:56:10 AM
Sold my coins today.  Bitcoin is overbought now.

from one side, you did good thing by selling bitcoins at 650$ each, as you probably bought it for less than that, so you got good profit, so it is good that you din't want to risk more to get more

but from other side, i am sure that price will rise to more than 650$, price at this moment is 700$ for example and it won't stop here so you could get even more profit if you would sell later
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: June 13, 2016, 09:51:53 AM
Bitcoin Classic rolls out, and days later there is no word about it in the News Media.

Mike Hearn declares Bitcoin dead and within hours it is in the New York Times.....
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/17/business/dealbook/the-bitcoin-believer-who-gave-up.html

Mark my words: Bitcoin is getting ready to be in a fight for it's life.

On one side are the Blockstream/Core players.  Liars, manipulators, shill, not afraid to destroy the fabric of Bitcoin with every bit of FUD they can dredge up - even if it kills bitcoin, but if they can't have total control, no one can.

On the other side you have Mike Hearn w/R3CEV/Hyperledger/Banks (AND Mainstream Media & Govt backing - don't forget that!)

We are at the start of a foot race to see who gets ready forst for the upcoming global financial meltdown.

It's pretty clear that Bitcoin Classic will prevail in the upcoming March Fork given the huge amount of support / concensus for it.  But Blockstream seems to wat to make this a do or die fight, and they appear to be willing to destroy the good name of bitcoin if they don't get their way.  The looming battle may be the perfect backdrop of confusion and chaos for a Fiat Coin to rise from the shadows, and with the help of Gov't & Media nods - be introduced to the masses.

Fasten your seatbelts kiddies.... this is going to be a wild ride.  Right now I am betting 50% on Classic / 50% on Fiat Coin.  Current 1mb Blockstream/Core Coin not even worth mentioning in my opinion.  I see 0.001%.

well this is pretty old news, and when he said that, he created huge panic across bitcoins users so they started to sell their bitcoins so price fell down very quickly

but today price is 700$ so i think that bitcoin is not dead and it won't be dead soon, actually i think that he said that only to get a chance to get cheaper bitcoins for himself
