I suppose one of the main reasons is the illusion of getting rich quick and when you do win you think next time if I put in a little bit more then you will win more. It is an addiction that is hard to kick for sure.
People think that if they have won one time that they are going to win again. So they think that if they continue to play that one day they will win the jackpot. But this is just not how it works but these people keep believing in that small chance. |

I do not think that the price will be $900 before Sep 2016 it is just way to early for that to happen. It will be more realistic for the price to be around $900 next year but not right now.

It was the barrier for a long time but we have finally surpassed that barrier. When the price was around $350 it was not a fun time on Bitcoin because there was not that much happening. I am glad that we are now on our way to $500.

The price is always a good indicator how the demand of something is. Sames holds for Bitcoin. But for further development the price does not really matter.
I think that the price is really important because the price is deciding what the Bitcoin users are doing. If the price is high mot people will sell their coins. If the price is low people will buy coins. |

I hope that it is going to keep rising for a long time because I want to sell some Bitcoin because I need some money. If the price is going to keep rising more people will sell witch leads to more activity on Bitcoin.

Yeah I do not know why, I personally do not even care who is the real Satoshi. This guy Craig Wright claims that he is the inventor of the Bitcoin. I do not know how he is going tom prove that but it does not even matter to most people.

Yes gambling can be profitable in the long run if a proper bankroll management is maintained and there are no attempts to go all-in just because one is very confident in a team. Also it's better to choose high odds as opposed to betting only on low odds which are not safer at all and could lead to a negative ROI.
Well it can only profitable when you have a high starting balance and betting with those odds of what you've said. And i agree to you that you shouldn't do all in whatever happens. It would be only profitable if you are not losing money and that is hard in gambling because the chance is really low to earn some money with it and that is quite bad. So you have to be careful with your money if you are gambling otherwise you are losing to much money with it. |

2016 will be boring year for bitcoin??Lol no everyyear is very fun with bitcoin because it is so popular cryptocurrency and I love it  I think 2016 is going to be more interesting than 2009-2012, but it won't be as interesting as the previous years. Maybe a few market movements, but I don't expect much excitement within the market this year. As long as you are positive about it though, then you're having all the fun you need. Bitcoin will have indeed not the best year this year and that is because Bitcoin is not event that high now so that is quite bad for the most people. But the most are hoping that it would be next year more value so they can also sell it and that would be great for them. |

Selling will be also not the best option that you can do now because the value is not even that high now and that is the problem, it would be nice that you can earn a lot of money with it.

Just apply for some giveaways to earn some bitcoin if you lucky you will already have a amount, doing this combined with some signature campaigns and later on do some gambling will let you create your own bitcoin for sure.
You can apply for some giveaways but a lot of people do this and I think giveaways are not let you win because a lot of people are applying for it. I think signature campaigns are indeed a lot better because its more profitable. It is nice that you want to have your first whole Bitcoin and that is because the world is also getting more digital and that can be nice because the value is also getting higher. Title of this thread is quite confusing for me, why anybody will play to just for lost their hard earned and it depends how much bankroll that have for gambling, i always going with bet around $1-$2 and don't use martingale there so that i can lose amount like that.
I think in sports betting we can use the martingale system, it will be good if you use in this playoffs, there is a big chance for us to win cause the team that are playing are really good. They can compete with each other, say for example if you use martingale on pacers vs raptors then you will win already. Nobody will know how much money you can lose with gambling because it also depends on the value and how much you are playing and that can be bad for you. So the best thing is that you dont have to spend that much money with it in gambling because losing is a high chance. |

The Halving is such a good thing and I think it will be good for us all.
halving is one of the good part of bitcoin because if you remember 2012 block halivng you see the result price increase after 1 year.. and i think it will increase to just like before.. Because its always depends of demand and supply.. The most are hoping that the value will be more worth so they can sell it with a lot of money and that can be nice for us, but it is hard to know that from before. There are a lot of people that is saying that the halving will be bad for the most people because they want to make profit soon but that is not possible. |

Most people will lose at gambling if they run it for a long time. But, most people didnt realize it. When someone lost a bunch and they keep gambling and suddently have some good profit, they will forget about they previous lost although they profit in fact cant cover all the previous lost.
