Good to see this kind of language that it is moving forward instead of focussing on banning it. "Fintech experts" as well as other scholars will be in attendance to advise.

I wish I could read charts more technically but the green line on the left looks good The daily volume comparison is interesting as well. Thanks for posting.

I really wonder how Waves will go
I think it will be successful as Ethereum project without a doubt. Enlighten me on how this will be more successful than ethereum, without a doubt. thanks in advance.

Your only option is to contact a Bitcoin friendly lawyer. Don't listed to a "yes" or "no" cuz nobody knows the full extent of any law here.
I would assume you are trading a commodity for a commodity so no but could be wrong.
Try volturo. It gets a lot of love.
Definitely this. Make sure to check with a tax attorney preferably a bitcoin tax attorney.

There was a pie chart floating around showing the stats of the recent rise and only 9% of funds were from USD...hmmm wonder where the other 91% is coming from.
For the last few years they have been buying in heavily into US real estate, with cash to protect themselves against the yuan. Some markets are reporting this is on the decline so I am not surprised that bitcoin is next.

Just to clarify this: did he really get rid of all his coins? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I have the same question. Is there evidence that when he declared he was "leaving bitcoin" that he sold his coins...i mean, that would REALLY be leaving.

This would be great news! Nice to see that during this bloodbath of altcoins Solar has been performing well. I really like this coin and continue to accumulate when it dips ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here
Diligence and patience always pay off. If you are learning new programming languages then it is time well spent. Ever since bitcoin came into my life I have found my self distracted. Let your friends play outside, they might ask you where and how to get bitcoin someday. Do whatever works for you.

"The price surge may be a result of many seeking to move capital out of China as the yuan weakens, continuing to fall against the dollar over the past month. Yuan markets made up for 94% of the exchange volume distribution over the last 30 days."
If this theory is correct. And I think it is the most sensible story behind bitcoin price rise. We might have sudden drop of BTC price after people successfully transfer money out of China. :/
I agree, it seems most logical explanation for freak rise. Read an article that they may be slowing their purchases of US real estate as some areas are experiencing a correction and are overbuilt.

Sell LISK. Buy BTC.
Don't be left a LISK bag hodler. The devs have already dumped their shitcoinage.
Not only lisk but coins that you think are not performing good in the market, this is the best time to dump this kind of altcoin and get some bitcoin but lisk still has a chance to bounce back in the future.. that makes total mathematical sense.

i can see less volume. so the rest are holding their DAOs. how much do you think DAO is worth in the future?
Many will hold to see where this goes. It received a lot of press outside the bitcoin world and it is certainly and interesting concept.

Every alt coin is priced in Satoshis on the exchanges, if Bitcoin rises and everybody held their coins, the value of alts would go up WITH BTC. And not only that, but if they held them, the alt marketcaps would grow and it would add more value and liquidity to the cryptosphere as a whole.
I have the same question. It makes no sense and it is chasing the price.

The people who are not trading their DAO tokens. I have 10 DAO tokens, purchased on Poloniex. I have no fucking idea where to trade them! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) My head just exploded from your overwhelming amount of DAO tokens. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) wanna hear the worst part? Poloniex sez they'll start trading DAO on 5/28. I asked on Poloniex's trollbox if I'd see my 10 DAO's available. Keeping in mind the entire trollbox is scum, they said no. Gee, did my 10 DAO's fall into another goddamn dimension? ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) There is no dimension out there that could handle your 10 DAO ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

It's sure been wacked over the last 24 hours or so, but that whack-down is a lot like the one Ethereum suffered 1-2 days after it started trading. 77,000 satoshis is still a nice gain over the ICO price.
Not only a nice gain over the ICO price it is a nice price to accumulate more! Still hodling coins from ICO and buying more at 80k.

Again ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) This is maybe the third article about Russia creating their own crypto in the last 6 months. They are moving slowly lol. Stay tuned, next week they will discuss banning it again like they have 20 times in the last year.

Most in bitcoin when and if I can because it has a greater return than my bank account. I feel my btc is as safe as a regular bank account as well. In the future I hope to have all money in bitcoin and get rid of the regular bank accounts.

With 13 Bitcoins I would be holding 90% and take the other 10% and invest in other alts. Of course do what works with your income level and budget.

I don't think Andreas Antonopoulos has the technical skills required to be a bitcoin mechanic. However, he is an amazing speaker and an incredible promotional ambassador for the bitcoin community. I think that if he took a more active central role in the project, he would lose some diplomatic credibility. His role in the project is no less important than any of the core team....in those regards, he IS a core member. I think that his influence on the project is irreplaceable. Nobody else can fill his position and we need him to hold his ground.
If we want change, then we should speak up and campaign utilizing the consensus protocol....

So needed! A global travel authentication would prevent loss of passport, ID, theft, forgery. This would also be so convenient not only for the traveler but the agents checking travel information. It could make travel move faster all over the world.
