342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 13, 2019, 12:08:32 PM
Funny to see that everyone only remember the biggest longest losing streak. They probably had also such streaks on winnings but they just don't remember that or even seen that just because you busy on reds and not on th greens.

If you think dice is boring, setup a very risky strategy in dicebot and it will be much more exciting ;-)
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 13, 2019, 11:24:36 AM
Best winning was 0.5 btc from a 3500sat faucet when bitcoin was still $18K.  Grin

346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won on gambling? on: August 11, 2019, 08:31:14 PM
I won in total 0.5 btc on dice and bought a nice new bathroom from the earnings. So it can be profitable if you stop on time and set a goal.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: August 09, 2019, 08:38:51 PM
I remember coins which were hot a few years ago like blackcoin and earthcoin. Gladly I sold all my altcoins on time. there are just way too much altcoins to pick out the right ones.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 09, 2019, 06:01:22 AM
I busted a lot on dice and poker because i wanted to end a session with a round number. So when i was up $98 with poker and just needed to make it $100 before i stopped. Sometimes I lost that $98 to get the $ more  Angry
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 08, 2019, 09:32:06 PM
When I was trading I had some app in my phone with the actual prices and I checked them every hour or so. Huh

Nowadays I am just checking once a day the bitcoin price. Don't even check the altcoins anymore.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 08, 2019, 05:02:10 PM
For the first time I feel sorry for Verstappen, I am not his fan but today he was driving great and it was Red Bull team fault for his loss.Hamilton drove great too and it was the risky move from Mercedes with that pit stop which I thought race over now but in fact it turned out to be a winning move of the race.At least Max got a point for the fastest lap.

This is race and today's formula is more on tactic then driving. Mercedes made good call and Red Bull bad one, next time can be opposite. With well into second part and with this break until end of this month, dont have doubt that only real treat to Lewis is Max, Ferrari drivers are good but car evidently is not so good.

In the end last few races are into Max and Lewis, so after the break we will see who will be good in the end, next race is my favorite track Spa and I expect to see good race and surprise could be win from one of the Ferrari drivers.

The problem with the Ferrari car is they focused more on the engine to make it one of the strongest if not the strongest in the straight parts of the circuit but sacrificing aerodynamics and we have all seen the results. They should be able to win their home race after Belgium in Monza as Monza is a straight circuit.

It is fun how both Ferraris had engine problems in the previous race in Hockenheim, even the fact that the team struggles to excel it.
I am sad to saay that they won't have any chance winning in Monza. Max and both Mercedes cars are more competitive in straight tracks.

Yep only Max and the Mercedes. Just wondering what Gasly is doing th last races. Everytime lapped by his own teammate. Don't think he will be long at RB if he don't improve himself.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin may be doomed on: August 08, 2019, 04:51:11 PM
Crypto is already become more user friendly compared with a few years back. Nowadays you can have useful apps for your mobile and that kind of things. I expect in a few years it will be even possible for the older non nerds people to use it ;-)
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: August 08, 2019, 04:49:09 PM
Hi guys ! Thats a question i do to myself very often , and it always looks like the right answer. My main coin for now its XRP (like 3000) and a very few BTC (0.005).

I hold XRP from long time but i see BTC price raise a lot and XRP don't do much. They have a consolidated project but no matters what BTC price its still mandatory.

So the question is , should i sold like 2500XRP and buy BTC when this one have a price drop?

I know its something i had to decide myself , just looking for what you guys think.
Thanks!

When bitcoin rises, the altcoins are also rising except when they lose value based on bitcoin. So when bitcoin and the altcoin compared to bitcoin is also rising, you get even more profit.

I would just do 50/50 of your holdings

Why is it that non-playing observers can enter chat at tournament table but not at a ring table?

Probably because tournaments are attracting more watchers and they all want to congratulate the winner at the end.  Grin
