341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: August 05, 2023, 02:27:37 PM
I have more interest in altcoins than bitcoin because they give more ROI, but we are not in a bull market yet and Ethereum gas fee keeps surging since yesterday, it is fair if you are sending ETH from a wallet to another but the real deal is when you plan to send tokens from a wallet to another, the gas is high and this makes me wonder what will happen in a bull market, because most of my tokens are on Erc-20 chain, what is a good way to be prepared for this?

Yeah it's funny how tokens with value below $50 are useless and permanently stuck in my wallet. Unless there's dramatic decrease in price of ETH or they come up with some great update that they haven't been able to pull up in years. And this situation is in a sideways market, guess what would be the situation when bull arrives. I believe and hope that ETH would no longer be the leading platform for dapps in next bull.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need a privacy coin that can only hide transaction amounts ? on: August 05, 2023, 01:24:44 PM
There are already some privacy coins, such as Monero, but they don't seem to be widely popular. At least not as popular as ETH, LTC.
Is it because privacy is not a necessary requirement? Or are existing privacy coins not good enough?
Or is it because of regulation? Or is it that privacy coins make the public feel that they are always connected to criminal activities?

If a coin only hides the transaction amount, will it be popular?

When I was using Monero, I found that for offline cold wallets, it is a troublesome thing to check the balance. You have to wait for the wallet client to scan a large number of blocks to find all transactions associated with the account. If only the transaction amount is hidden, this problem will be solved.
Of course, this semi-privacy coin is also more friendly to supervision.
Will anyone be willing to use this kind of coin ?

Monero is still the favorite for privacy focused people specially the market in dark web. The regulations had made it difficult for normal people to trade on it but it has became a crypto currency in true sense with its own value. The popularity of bitcoin mixers is another example how large the privacy based market is.
Hiding just the transaction amount would not be a solution as monero implements Stealth Addresses, Ring Signatures and RingCT to ensure every of its users are anonymous.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion about ETH on: August 05, 2023, 11:07:46 AM
Sometimes I think..
If now we have a fast network with ecology as prosperous as ETH and low tax
Why we need L2 network and ETH..It seems like a deficient network repairing itself constantly.
And POS is without justice that the strong will always be stronger.Blockchain need justice and every one is equal.

I want to see you mates' opinion. And if possibile, please recommend me the best cryptocurrency undervalued now thx. Kiss

I too am not optimistic about the future of Ethereum as a utility token. They have been trying to fix problems for years yet the chain is still unusable with large fees and congested networks. Newer alternatives provided better performance and efficiency in low price. And with interoperability and use of similar languages to code, there's no lack of experience. We'd see ETH lag behind on coming bull.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: August 04, 2023, 09:10:01 AM
The bounty time almost death now so if bull market will coming then we can received lot of good bounty!
There are no good bountys available to earn money right now. So what's your target? When we will received good bounty?

When the bull arise, each and every coins available to buy increases in price. That's why there are many people launching a huge number of tokens everyday. And with such money in stake they'd want to do a lot of advertising as advertising would easily payoff and yield more profit. And in that case, each and every of the tokens would be willing to conduct a bounty. During the sideways market, theirs no certainty that a token won't go below the ICO price. Most tokens even fail to reach their hardcap which would make the bounty expenses useless.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best Altcoin for this moment to accumulate right now? on: August 04, 2023, 06:02:35 AM
I want to find a good Altcoin to invest in before the bull starts, also have a non-custodial exchange. This means, that we have complete control over our funds. If there is, please help convey it, because a lots of new altcoins was born every day.

Accumulation is a good strategy as the current market is in lower side trend. Any investment today could bring good results within next year or two. There are a lot of alts with a good number of promising options. You can't go wrong with the top 20 altcoins, but it would be better to invest in coins with low cap and low price as they can easily go x10 or higher on bull. Even new coins in their early sale with a solid base, team and community could be a good investment in long run.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: August 04, 2023, 12:48:16 AM
What is the largest meme coin ever?
It should be Doge coin
Doge coin is the first meme coin, right? Meanwhile, other meme coins like Shiba and others only followed suit when at that time the price of the Doge coin suddenly rose drastically. So many people become developers and make meme coins. but unfortunately as usual, the new meme coins will end up being shit coins. Because after all, when you just imitate or follow things that already exist, the results won't take long in the end. Maybe currently only the Shiba Inu is still surviving and getting into one of the top coins. While other meme coins are only temporarily and they will drop after reaching thier top very soon. but when compared with Doge, I'm sure if Doge is larger.

I believe Doge coin was the first ever to coin itself as Memecoin genre as we know of such. There was literally a coin named MEME coin that predates Dogecoin in 2013 but there's not much info available about it now. There are a multiple of meme coins available at the moment. The most popular, with the largest market cap being Dogecoin. But memecly, the most expensive memecoin is Doge Killer from Shiba Inu.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: August 03, 2023, 02:54:28 PM
Hello buddies, I am considering buying Solana coins and holding for a very long time. I want to know if this is a good idea before forging ahead to buy it.

Thanks for your responses.

Solana is still a good investment. They have a good use case and the number of dapps and smart contracts on solana platform are ever increasing. They have one of the lowest fees and quicker transaction. Even though the utility tokens have a competitive market, solana would easily evolve as one of the larger players when the bull arrives. Buying solana at low and staking them as msol could be a good strategy for long term.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: August 03, 2023, 10:53:04 AM
As questions swirl about how much cryptocurrencies will be worth in the wake of the spectacular collapse of the crypto exchange FTX and other major platforms, a key question has emerged: Who will keep your crypto safe?

In response, some in the crypto community are calling for a return to its decentralized roots.

Among the rallying cries of this latent movement: “Not your keys, not your coins.”

In other words: Trust only yourself.

But doing so requires individuals to maintain their own cryptocurrency wallets through a more complicated — if safer — process that involves generating complex passwords and sometimes buying physical hardware to keep track of crypto, as opposed to entrusting it to an exchange.

"A company like FTX was supposed to hold your assets, but they ended up lending them out," Tracy Wang, deputy managing editor at the crypto news site CoinDesk, told NBC News.

That concept is what undergirds the traditional monetary system and seems to go against the fundamental philosophy of cryptocurrency.

"This is like taking power back and being in charge of your own money," Wang said of decentralization.

So does that mean that Utopia P2P had chosen the right way from the very beginning, being based on its own decentralized blockchain and having own Crypton privacy coin? As for the 5 years of existence it didn't face any data leakage or scamming scandal. Or what else would you offer to pay attention to?

Decentralized blockchain, servers or applications themselves are not full proof from scams and frauds. We have seen a lot of rug pulls and even in those that has proven codes, there could be a loophole still not public that could lead to loss of a large amount of money on a single mistake. And there are ever rising phising and malware attacks on user level. Alternatively, centralized exchanges when they are legit to their words have multiple layers of security in case a or few of them are breached and the user funds are distributed to multiple multisig cold wallets than one.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 11:58:12 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.

I currently don't have any exchange tokens except for some bnb for transactions but I plan to a buy a good number of different exchange tokens for next few months. I have had good experience with centralized exchange tokens but some huge losses with dex tokens. Pancakebunny(scam) and Panckaeswap(still a good investment in low price) were disastrous investment. I'll be trying to get a 75% centralized and 25% dex tokens for the next bull run.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capitalizing a smart trading strategy on: August 02, 2023, 06:15:07 AM
Savvy traders are always one step ahead of the game. This became apparent to me when the Arkham project was launched and numerous individuals received a five-figure USD airdrop. Arkham was listed on several exchanges, including Binance, as part of the Binance Launchpad project. Many anticipated a soaring price after being listed on Binance and opted to hold off on selling.

However, an hour prior to its Binance listing, Arkham was already available on Bitget. Rather than selling, many chose to purchase in hopes of a price surge following the Binance listing. But when it finally occurred, they were unable to fully capitalise on the price increase. A selling frenzy ensued, and unlike on Bitget, the price never reached $1 on Binance.
As a result, those who had sold earlier on Bitget reaped greater profits

The news of listing of a new token on a popular exchange would already create a hype around it and if available, people would readily buy it in anticipation of higher profits. Which already increases the price by multiple folds, this way, the tokens becomes overbought and when the actual listing occurs, the price plummets. So, it's not a good strategy to buy an already increasing token and the general public always would be late to the party as internal people certainly leaks the info prior to listing to their group of people.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 01, 2023, 12:46:41 PM
I have mentioned multiple times in past here that people should be cautious with alt coins. If some coin has moved up like 100% or more in just 24 hours, it does not mean that you should also purchase the coin. You should first understand the reason behind prices moving up. Then, you should also analyze the benefits and demerits of the project.

One such option has come again in safemoon. The coin has pumped more than 100% when they reduced fees from 10% to 1%. Now new investors are rushing to invest in this coin. This is the situation when the past investors in the coin are like in 99% loss of their invested value. But greed make people loose all senses I think. If you are still thinking to invest in safemoon now, think twice.

By human nature people are attracted to high earnings potentials and are ready to risk their money for it. Some even lose more than they are capable of. The reality are hard learned by losing and there's no learning in altcoins. Missing out is another thing people regret about, so the best way is to take the middle path and invest small amount in multiple projects you believe could moon x10 or x100 in upcoming days. It's surely risky but there are some strategies to be on the safer side while trying not to miss on the hype though.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is AI in crypto a game-changer or just another hype? on: August 01, 2023, 07:03:54 AM
In the current crypto landscape, we're witnessing an influx of AI-powered projects. However, it's crucial to remain skeptical as many of these projects lack solid evidence to support their claims of being AI-driven. It appears that some are merely trying to create hype to sell their tokens without substantial technological backing.

On the other hand, certain CEXs are incorporating AI into their trading bots, particularly for grid trading. They assert that this move allows beginners to take advantage of trading strategies without needing extensive expertise in the field.

For instance, Bitget has integrated AI into its grid trading system, and it's likely that other exchanges are exploring similar paths. But the big question remains: Will these AI implementations truly deliver on their promises or will they become obsolete in the future, dismissed as mere trash? As a crypto enthusiast, it's crucial to keep a watchful eye on the advancements and critically assess the real value that AI brings to the crypto space.

AI helps people to shorten the time required to research about the token's fundamentals and technical. Studying technical is a time consuming job and most people pay money to the experts to do it for them. But with involvement of AI, fundamentals are cheap or free to reach every traders. With such ease of access to fundamentals, there would be lesser risk on trading. Though this may make the market more homogeneous hence stable making swing trading less profitable, one's looking for high profit need to venture to much riskier markets.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about iris scanner scenario in worldcoin network? on: August 01, 2023, 12:55:44 AM
https://bitcoinist.com/worldcoin-under-the-lens-french-regulator/

https://www.reuters.com/technology/german-data-watchdog-probing-worldcoin-crypto-project-official-says-2023-07-31/

More countries will be coming soon. Worldcoin will not able to leave from the regulators. Those who involved in the shady pratices may be jailed in the future, there's no point in collecting irish data.

Regulators are coming to the world coin. You will be seeing so many countries sued world coin. Those people are so dumb exchanging their personal data for 70 bucks.
Yep, it'e like they forgot The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and even if they somehow managed to shuffle trough regulations. Who would want to sell their data to these people? For something that's most likely worth pennies.

I rarely point to book 1984, as it's now just a meme as everything is so 1984, but this is so dystopian i want to. Selling this data to corporations is pointless. There's no real use case for POP that would be allowed by regulators. Everyone involved and enabling their tech would possible be involved in criminal activity so who wants that? What's the upside of logging in to some irrelevant site with that?
Let's see how the result from investigations that will be commenced by the regulators. I think that all of european countries gonna start to investigate this project. The team is in possibility to be jailed if they were using this data for shady things.

It seems like that people were not caring anymore with their privacy. No point in yelling about privacy while people can sell their data cheaply to the various projects.

We should wait and see. iris data is a highly sensitive data to share just for the sake of some money. They promise of a universal income but what would be the value of the coin when they are being issued every month without any strategy to limit the supply. Like mooncoin or something that gave staking coins reward 10% a day and the value crashed after a week. The concept of universal income itself is not bad but the risk of private data being misused is way higher.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: July 31, 2023, 02:51:57 PM
Tron has been here for long. Tron has been tested through highs and lows, bulls and bears and is still a highly traded coin. It's one of the popular coins to transact between exchanges, USDT's volume on tron network is ever increasing. What else do we need to trust a coin. Some coins not even as useful are being trusted by huge group of people and investors. Tron would be a good coin to keep in your portfolio and a probable leader on bullish growth next time. Till than you can also swing trade it as it has strong support and resistance levels.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 31, 2023, 10:25:59 AM

People online, analysts have said so many good things to expect as they think there is going to be great price movement for bitcoin soon. Some think the bull has started already and that the rest of the market will be in uptrend from now on. It is true that when bitcoin price increases it also affects the growth of other tokens positively. It makes us happy to see our tokens increase in price. Most tokens that are worthless will become valuable and increases in price during bull. It makes everyone excited and happy.

My question here is if airdrops and bounties are still good means of getting good tokens for free that can worth something some day as we wait for the bull. In the past bounties and airdrops used to be profitable and alot of people rushed them. Am not referring to bounties as in signature bounties that we have here. Am talking about websites outside this forum that give minor social media tasks and then pay in tokens.

If anyone knows any credible sources where to get airdrops should please drop links. Maybe new members who are not in campaigns can help themselves with them and try their luck. We are approaching bull season and this can be helpful for people to make money from them.

Please drop links if you have them.

NOTE — Please I only need those who have links to share to post here and not spammers who want to meet up count for their campaigns.

Yes, airdrop and bounties, generation of new coins and tokens, forum activities as well as number of transactions on each network increases when there's bull run. But we are still on a sideways market i.e. people are still not sure when there will be another bull, it could be within this year or could a multiple of years. And though they are generally watched as competing economies, the bull run actually need a good overall economic condition in the world. And as we are still battling with economic depression, there's no sight of bull run anytime soon.

357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: July 03, 2023, 03:52:36 PM
Stop following crypto influencers, those of you who like using YouTube videos to pick coins and tokens to invest in you need to hear this, those crypto influencers on YouTube are getting paid to promote those projects they are chilling, why would they promise you 2x or 5x when they aren't part of the team themselves? They did this because that's how they make their own money. He who have hears let him hear.

There's not much different from stocks influencers. When telling you about some coins that they believe would bull, you need to understand that they have bought a significant amount and wants to get out of it with profit. The influencer earns at the expense of it's followers. And if the influencer is talking about some promising new project, it's either the influencer got paid for advertising or they got a huge number of tokens for free with the responsibility of creating a value for those useless tokens.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: July 01, 2023, 05:06:05 PM
Mine was BNB, ETH, RNDR, ARB. What about you guys? What do you keep following or watching these days? and why?

Among altcoins, my focus are on coins like BNB, Bitcoincash, Matic, Solana, Tron and Banano. I'm bullish on them. BNB is supported by Binance which is the ultimate leader among crypto exchanges. Bitcoincash has came as an easier alternative to transacting bitcoin. Matic, Solana and Tron to some extent provides better fees while dealing with apps. And Banano is like nano but still cheap, it has an active community and zero fee transaction are the future for merchant payments.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: July 01, 2023, 02:34:35 PM
Nothing could be said for certainty in crypto. And fundamentals are still a vague thing to compare on while dealing with crypto.
Shiba Inu is still holding itself to the pro league. They are already popular among most of the laymen. Arguably among top 10 most know crypto. Their total supply is dubious, but we know most of it is either locked or burned. And if they keep on being able to create a buzz around them, one day, on a long bull run, they could eventually reach $1.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: June 26, 2023, 04:03:04 PM
Tron is exceptionally old coin, still has a place to beat coin in crypto field. It is intensely utilized to diminish exchange expense conjointly for quick transactions.
It has many comparative qualities that doge or ada has. Indeed i think it has everything to Attain victory like others do but it still moo by its cost.
So what do you think approximately this coin. It could have way better future like doge, ada? Or it'll be vanished with the stream of time?

Tron has the formula for success. A low transaction fee and quicker transaction. And with backward compatible with ERC-20 standard, there's  nothing stopping developers to switch from Ethereum to Tron. Tron also has a sense of unified and competitive community with its freeze of tokens to get vote for super representative where users are rewarded for freezing their coins. A type of proof of stake earning. Tron could be one of the leader of next bull run.
