341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Miners vs Traders on: February 28, 2018, 04:11:58 AM
Do bitcoin Miners  Profit more than traders .What do you all think?

and also Out of both who can make income out of bitcoin?   Smiley

If you take effort in both of them, then I am pretty sure that both of them can be your income source. However efforts will be more or less in both of them. For example, you will need to spend lot of time in trading, watching all the up and down graphs, the wavy rides, keep an eye on news and much more. Moreover it could get difficult at times when your trade predictions may not come true and you may incur loss. But at some instance jackpot might get hit. Now that I will define as income source with lots of surprises!!

On the other mining will cost you one time initial cost set up and then after you have to maintain it forever, with regular heavy electricity bills. This kind of stuff needs patience as your ROI is about year or so. It’s like you will have to wait for that much period until you can get your real profitable salary credited to your account. So you can think now which kind of salary you would like to have.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True BTC believers on: February 27, 2018, 10:01:46 AM
I used to believe in the crypto currency until I found that the use of which is being done for the profit making. I was in the first wave where I used to believe in the technology and stuff and gotten myself I’m olved with different readings regarding the bitcoin and Blockchain Technology works. Meanwhile I also read few of the great publications done by the college students who had the Blockchain Technology as major subject, and I was so surprised to see all that coming. But when the market kept yellin you can earn this much and that much from the bitcoin then I got diverted a lot. Now I am here to earn money as I have gotten many ways to do and it kind of helps me and my family.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO Could Surpass Bitcoin By The Year 2019 on: February 27, 2018, 05:45:28 AM
Oh God that hurts! Why compare any coin with bitcoin in the first place if it is unnecessary. I mean bitcoin is slow in its development but have you guys ever considered which currency will be preferred by different comonaies in the future as way of payment? I belive that’s bitcoin only. So in the future bitcoin will again gain most of its attention and thus will grow very fast than other currencies.

NEO is another alt project to support the AI and stuff which is having proper agenda, agreed! But what about it. It’s limited to that agenda only and it won’t be invested heavily by global giants because of its use and limitations.

So may be that will run on different course and it seems bitcoin is the winner all time.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin help out of school youth... on: February 26, 2018, 10:52:21 AM
Do you think Bitcoin can help out of school youth to finish their studies or not?
For me in some other way yes it will help . It will help young people to gain insight on how to earn money and how to value the money they earn. But it may also be the reason to them for not continuing their studies because they earn already a lot of money on bitcoin..

I think of the second insight of yours might come out to be true. The reason is, they are youngsters who can get attracted towards the glory of money and wealth sufficiency very fast. They might just spoil their studies and all of them might just run behind the money. We don’t want that to happen in first place. The youngsters enjoys the school pretty much in decent way and they don’t worry about the money at all and could focus on their I interest at all times. I hope you might have seen the movie “21” where the guy almost spoils himself in the Las Vegas in the want of money for getting admission to the MIT college. Let’s hope we don’t end up like that.  Smiley
345  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcore BTX - Contest #2: Promo Video (up to 100 BTX paid in total!) on: February 26, 2018, 10:47:02 AM
The community vote to determine the winners is scheduled for next Monday/Tuesday.

Still waiting.

I loved the banner contest and it was great success I belive. Hope to see same happening with the video contest too. I think the voting thread should have been open by now.
346  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in India. on: February 26, 2018, 06:32:31 AM
The main reason why bitcoin has no legal status in India is the lack of a sound regulatory system.

The government has yet to introduce regulations governing the regulation of bitcoin, such as the regulatory framework for the registration and listing of industry companies.

I think we are missing the point here. There is no country where there are sound regulations for the bitcoin because bitcoin came into existence later. There were no regulations earlier and neither any of them have it now. What they have is just the status of illegal tender for the use of bitcoin or any crypto currency per say.

It means nothing when we say framework for the registration and industry listing because bitcoin regulations itself is in infancy stage. It has evolve much more and first India needs to understand the actual working of it for which they have already taken the initiative by using blockchain for digital certification.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: How does a Bitcoin have any value? on: February 26, 2018, 05:33:51 AM
I am also wondering how bitcoin have value. And its value is too high. Bitcoin cannot even use offline. But many of us want have more bitcoins. And we trade and invest to it.

There is no as such wonder blunder in the bitcoin world. We are the only one who are buying the bitcoin and thus putting x value into it by raising its market cap. This is just maths that works on the principle of buying and selling of this currency or any kind of assets in the world.

Quote
Bitcoin cannot even use offline.

Who says we can’t use it offline. We can use it off line for sure with bitcoin debit cards and with services like moxyone. Don’t say that as you are making the people nervous who invested millions to create such crypto debits cards.  Grin
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you move to a tax haven to protect your crypto trillions? on: February 25, 2018, 07:14:46 PM
I think wouldn’t scratch my bum for saving up the taxes neither I would take so many efforts to do so. I will just pay the shit and keep the 80% for myself. That’s still huge amount of money if considered from the crypto point of view. The money that we earn from the crypto is usually coming as much free as water in drinking tap. Really why should we bother to pay taxes if that’s going to be easy afterwards for us and for the chasing tax inspector. Lolz. One should think like rich man when you actually get rich and leave the sloppy cheap life behind.  Cheesy
349  Other / Meta / Re: Running polls for all Forum members. on: February 25, 2018, 04:49:34 PM
I think this forum is quite liberal. People get to contribute what they know to help others grow in the cryptocurrency world. But I haven't seen any general polls run in the course of making decisions that affect all members(maybe I'm a kid here). Are periodic polls run on any section that I don't know of? What do you think are the pros and cons of running a general poll for members of this forum ?

Polls are of great use to the bounty contest which takes places very often on this forum. If you see the project development section then you might see more number of polls over there for casting the votes on winner. In service sections you rarely see the polls as to what kind of service to be offered and kind of gibberish sometimes.

I only see its importance in the contest held by bounties. They help choose the right person by organic crowd rather than unfair judges. That’s all I know folk.   Cheesy
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops: Titanic of ICOs? on: February 24, 2018, 09:55:52 AM
You have taken lot of efforts to show how airdrops are heavenly ways for the companies to promote their businesses. To be honest airdrops are killer for the ico companies because they are literally giving away millions of dollars which they don't even have any idea whther will get raised in the ico sale or not. Because airdrops which happen before the ico sale are really worst way of marketing the ico. They get people, huge number of people enrolled into the ico but only in the want of free coins and nothing much. If they go beyond the limit then they might need to pay participant from their wallets which they won't do! Then we see the scam projects all over making the red shifts.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin seems so cheap on: February 24, 2018, 04:54:48 AM
I always hear good things about litecoin, it doesn't really get any negativity. Seems to be a really popular coin, which has been around a while now.

So why is the price so cheap? i heard it should be around 10% the value of Bitcoin so what do you guys think?

I don't think it's cheap. I have seen litecoin since it was 20-30 USD per LTC. The coin has jumped all the ATH of 300 in the past and now it is playing around 200 USD. I think that is the best market cap any coin can achieve and believe that it is going in the right direction and at right speed too. Believe it or not it is next ethereum and those who invest into it heavily today will have great future. It is the same repeating cycle of ethereum only where ethereum played around couple of dollars then jumped to 300 bucks and played over there for long and then now you see what ethereum is worth today. :-)

So yeah just consider the LTC the same way and go along the flow.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: February 24, 2018, 04:03:54 AM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

The other coins are moving fast because of their cheapness and easy to enter nature. Think about the bitcoin and any altcoin and you will see that there is no comparison betweent them at all. In anyway bitcoin is best with only drawback that very few of us understand the actual use of it and the real world applications of it. Altcoin are just way to get into crypto projects very fast and thus make money out of it. That's why we see lots of volume going into the alts rather than bitcoin. But that's also fairly true because no matter what new investors along with the old one always appreciate the bitcoin and invest into it at the first time. Alts comes later on and then they are invested in the want of getting profits. I don't see any point of discussion process here because it is not in the reality.
353  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: February 24, 2018, 03:22:29 AM
I am not sure why this thread is getting so many responses in negative ways because I'm using hitbtc since long and daily basis but there is no such issue arising with me. Yesterday only I traded my ETH with BTC and played along with other coins for the margin trades. I was even successful while making withdrawal despite the thing that hitbtc had some issues with its withdrawal process. Though the notice was published as precautionary thing I did proceed with my withdrawal and gotten the money instantly into my wallet.

You guys need to check whether you are on the right exchanger or not. Lol. The hitbtc is working just fine for me!
354  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 5000rs INR how to get btc? on: February 23, 2018, 11:57:29 AM
Hey  i want to invest in BTC 5000Rs INR
PLEASE suggest some ways

That's Indian currency suggesting you are from India. Well you guys have very big exchange or wallet called as Zebpay where you can buy bitcoin very easily. This is largest wallet or exchanger in your country and if you check their website then you will have to submit your KYC documents first to get verified. The procedure roughly takes 3 days to get you verified. Later on you can attach bank to it and do the normal checkout as you would do on the shopping site.

There are other ways to get your bitcoin like local bitcoin website. Here the verification process is the same however it is neither wallet nor exchange. It is website which brings the buyer and seller together who then can trade at whatever price they want which could differ from the market price. Search for it and you will see the website address.
355  Other / Meta / Re: Merit... For what?? on: February 23, 2018, 11:32:42 AM
Hi there!! Do you heard about merit??  What's it for??

Merit is really hot topic bro and it is very important these to earn them of you want to stay at the top or whether you want to earn higher ranks etc. I mean if you are here to earn ranks then I'm sure you will have to focus more and more on the merit system. To earn the merits you have to be very quality poster otherwise you won't sustain here for long time.

However, merit system should not be taken for granted and must work for it very hard. The merit system made so that people can reward each other for posting and helping in quality ways. If people around here love your posts then they can spend merits on you which are allotted to you. You can check your merits in your profile by clicking the merits.

The rest thing can be known from the thread provided by appleyard.

357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it give Waves a new strategy?? on: February 18, 2018, 05:27:49 AM
I like your motivational approach about the waves but the thing is just getting the gateways wont help the specific project to grow bigger as long as they want to share the profits with the investors and this all depends on whether or not the platform is developed properly. There is platform like Kick which supports the building of different ICO and it literally raises more than billions a day but where is the coins stands in the CMC? Its literally not having any good value and since the launch it could have gone upto 1 USD but its still worth cents. That sucks. So its not about how much it is being used but its all about how much it is being developed and how much shares are been allotted to the fellow users like you and me.
358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto business gearing for Industrial Level! on: February 18, 2018, 04:36:54 AM
Russians can do that for sure. After the successful attempt of sending the first man into the space they have the potential to launch crypto mining as industrialised protocol seems possible to me.  Grin

Not to forget they always want to be on the top of everything no matter what happens and in technology they are always ahead of everything. I think this will revolutionise the farming concept of the miners and thus will also bring the crypto employment to work within the industries. This will help grow the crypto economy in all possible ways. Hm, im feeling fresh air coming soon from Russian continent.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees are a tax on BTC on: February 16, 2018, 04:44:07 PM
Taxes, like death, are inevitable.  When they go up, people complain.  Txn fees are a form of tax on BTC that goes to the miners.  No-one wants to pay them but they have to.

I am not sure how truthful this one is. But I dont like the idea of thinking that those fees are really taxes for the BTC. I mean just take the real life example when, we transact through our banks we dont pay tax on each transaction but it summed up at the financial year end when we provide the details for every outgoing and incoming transaction processed through our banks.

The fees is more or less used for the miners efforts, for doing the job and its more or less salary of the miner. Tax is taken for those bodies who ideally will control the miners as well as peers. So its just fees, a way of rewarding the miner.  Smiley
360  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: February 16, 2018, 02:50:06 PM
What do you think are the effects of btc in your country? Because in my country it thus not affect the economy of ours. Share yours.

I think it is not disturbing the economy in my country as well because being moderate user of the bitcoin everyone here is paying the taxes against the bitcoin transaction on their own. This is all because of the government's new radar team which looks after the taxes paid against the bitcoin. If there had been no such team already in place then we could be bothering about my nations economy as there is huge transaction amount going out from the country and more than that is coming within the country. So if we see that one then it could be disastrous really as the amount is huge.
