341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other ways are available for purchasing Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2023, 04:57:31 PM
This is possible in our country using Peer to peer transactions. But I don't know if it's legal in our law since their minimum is too high, and I'm unsure how safe it is. So If you want to do this, ensure you will negotiate with someone you know or an individual your trustee will recommend. I have no other option since I'm still using the bank to buy and sell my cryptocurrency. What's the purpose of cutting ties with banks? I'm just using the bank to lessen the hassle and risk of meeting someone.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 23, 2023, 03:24:53 PM
Congratulations on your achievements. I hope someday I can buy everything I need using crypto-currency. Your past years' hard work and risk have an outcome, so keep up and maintain the excellent work. Anything is possible with bitcoin. Though I think bitcoin will pump more sooner. Hoping you're content with your achievement and don't regret selling earlier.
343  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Floyd Mayweather & KSI vs Manny Pacquiao & Salt Papi Misfits Tag Team match on: March 15, 2023, 03:53:21 AM
If ever matuloy ito, I'm sure this will be a fixed match knowing Mayweather I'm sure ayaw nya madungisan ang record nya and that's why he retired early and even sa mga friendly matches nya, sya paren ang nagwawagi.

Malaking pera ito for Manny and I'm sure hinde ren papayag ang team nya if magiging dehado si Manny, if there's a big money that can benefit both parties, I'm sure matutuloy ito.

344  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Floyd Mayweather & KSI vs Manny Pacquiao & Salt Papi Misfits Tag Team match on: March 14, 2023, 08:04:31 AM

345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have failed too severely, time to give up? on: March 13, 2023, 08:09:04 AM
It will be a waste of time if you force someone to use bitcoin. Truthfully, if I am your customer, exchanging my business funds for bitcoin in real-world business will be a hassle unless you have a good offer for them to gain. And the price of bitcoin fluctuates. How can you deal with it if you're the customer? If the value of bitcoin dumps, you can only buy a smaller portion of cocoa. A smaller amount of cocoa makes less profit than usual. As a business man would you take that risk for the sake of using cryptocurrency in your business?

347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you Bet on a Fight that is Scripted? on: March 10, 2023, 06:44:05 AM
Before, I enjoyed watching WWE. After knowing that the WWE is a fixed-match entertainment, I stopped watching it. Scripted fights don't have a thrill; even watching them now for too long is hard. Betting on it would not excite me at all. So honestly, I would not gamble on this kind of fight.

Surely some people would excite by this kind of betting. I hope they can manage to ensure that the match's outcome will not be leaked.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 07, 2023, 05:34:10 PM
Many financial freedom promoters say on social media, "Keep at least 3-6 months of living expenses for emergency funds." Truthfully, I don't think 3-6 months of living expenses is enough for emergency funds, so at least allocate more than six months. Why more than? It's better to have extra funds compared to lesser funds. The lesson we can learn from our past situation is not to designate all of our money to bitcoin or any investment.

Initially, I thought earning in crypto-currency was always there, so I would invest all my money. Then the bearish market begins. I feel depressed every time I go to the app called "Blockfolio." This is the application I use to monitor my holdings. And then, one of our family needed the money for the hospitalization, so there was no choice back then since all of my funds were in crypto, so I traded most of my holdings at a lower price.

350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 06, 2023, 05:14:19 PM
People will always talk. Most of the time, it comes from jealousy and the fact that we take actions to achieve something.
In general, people don't like to see how others succeed.

What I suggest from my experience is to "dream big." Don't let anybody tell you what to do. And if they laugh or are not supportive, they are not real friends. So don't take time to bother about them.

Focus on what makes you feel good.
And there have been many times in my life when I tried something and then abandoned it because it didn't work. But I did not give up. People learn from every experience in their lives. We gain knowledge, and the next time we do something, it may be better and bring us profit.

I know. And for sure, he thought that it was easy to achieve or earn what I had already gained in crypto-currency. That's why he regrets learning more about bitcoin sooner. He doesn't know the complex decision we must make and the risk we always take.

Whether real friends or not, it's expected that our friends or close relatives laugh or disbelieve what our doing. They will not acknowledge or celebrate with us until they can't see that we have succeeded. Like some parents, when their children take risks starting as YouTubers, some consider their children wasting time until they become successful. I still want to help this friend of mine to learn more about crypto-currency.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trust in cryptocurrency? on: March 06, 2023, 01:05:31 PM
But do you think it will be time when cryptocurrency will come into our lives and be normal for all people? Will people be able to trust crypto?

I'm wondering what your opinion is about this.
Sooner or later, people around you will eventually be curious about it once they witness the difference in our lives after learning about crypto-currency.

Last month, my friend said he regrets that he laughed when some of our friends talked about me and that I'm busy learning or accomplishing something in crypto-currency. He thought I was wasting my time because, in the last few years, the name of bitcoin and other crypto-currency is constantly involved in the scam in Facebook page groups.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 05, 2023, 01:55:10 PM
Currently, I have many wallets since hacking nowadays is too often. But the primary storage for my funds is only one (hardware wallet). I have many wallets because I'm using them to buy and sell my altcoins, and connecting your wallet to too many websites is risky. I can't monitor all websites that have been leaked, so instead of being afraid of using my previous wallet, I would create a new one. After all, creating a wallet is free, and it's too easy.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person? on: March 05, 2023, 04:35:43 AM
Let's say bitcoin is internet money, and people on the internet use it like fiat money in their daily spending. However, its value depends on worldwide people who buy and sell it. Unlike the fiat, the government has the power to control. And it would be best if you shared some excellent content creators who can teach them with their videos on their social media platforms to know more about bitcoin. Make sure to tell them to invest what you can afford to lose.

355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 02, 2023, 01:46:30 PM
So what if the bitcoin price is higher than gold? We don't know for sure if bitcoin will reach 100k after halving. Do you think your relationship will last till halving after selling her jewelry? Do you think your wife can wait longer if the bitcoin price does not match your plan? Based on your story, your wife is hesitant at first. What if the bitcoin price goes -50%? Do you think your relationship will stay healthy? There are too many risks associated with your plan, including your relationship. Do you think it's worth taking that risk?

357  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito?

Tumataas ba value nung physical collectible in the long run as long as may laman?

Baka may makita akong sikat haha edi nakapag papicture pa  Grin.
