341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 17, 2020, 03:25:03 AM
That is just impossible.

You can't control the market, you can't be always at the "green" because that is not based on your strategies or movements. You can minimize risks or your losses by doing other things like for example diversifying your portfolio but that also means having a higher possibility of not being in the green. That is like an investment that would never dump which also means doesn't exist.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC reached another ATH, what about ETH? on: December 17, 2020, 02:23:30 AM
The price of Bitcoin rose now to $21K and now sitting there for a while now.

This just proves how strong the price is going and it might go over $25K if this strong wave continues to hit this price chart. Since Bitcoin is continuing to go strong, I think other cryptocurrencies will follow. Ethereum and the other altcoins would obviously go next, this will be a parade as it happened in the past as Bitcoin reached $19K.
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 17, 2020, 02:19:48 AM
But definitely it will not be as big as what he earned during the Mcgregor fight, it might millions but I'm sure it will not hit over $100 million in this fight. Logan Paul is popular as a youtuber, but I'm sure not all his subscribers or whatsoever will watch the fight, some would even just watch a free live streaming.

I agree.

I doubt that people would be even excited to see a match where they already know what will happen or what will be the result. This might just be focussed on Logan Paul's fanbase. I don't think Floyd Mayweather's fan or supporters would be supporting him the same as he fought against Manny Pacquiao and Connor McGregor.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 17, 2020, 01:40:45 AM
I think research is more than strategy in betting. It's true that you can do some strategy in betting in multiple bets and the odds don't really fall into 50-50 chance when you are making your research. You yourself can identify the odds of a certain team based on the research you are doing. Looking upon the odds that is shown isn't that bad to look at for, It is put up there to somehow guide you on your research and analysis on how did the odds makeup on to that point.

I do understand but for me, it is a strategy.

There are a lot of gamblers out there that just put their money into someone or a team that they think would win depending on how they support that team or player. Maybe we can call it "Bias betting" because they are betting based on who they think will win. But if it is not a strategy, what will we call it? We are making this analysis to increase the possibility of our wages to win. It is a method to increase your win hence a strategy.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: December 16, 2020, 10:28:43 AM
For me the best strategy is to focus on the match that you know well don't bet on others games.
Just focus on games or team that you have knowledge of don't force yourself to bet on unknown or only have a small information.

That should really be the case.

The problem though is that there are a lot of gamblers out there that don't care about the earnings, about the losses they have. They just put their money on some luck-based games that they would boast to other people that they won but, to be honest in the long run that they lost a lot before they even won that money.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 16, 2020, 09:58:23 AM
I don't actually know.

There's been some changes that I don't know if I should say or predict that it would increase or not. All I can say is that it might increase but I don't think that it would reach more than $18K. Price might reach a price closer to $20K but I don't think it will last to ever reach a new ATH. Maybe $15K to $16K at the end of this year.
347  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH then correction of 35%+ on: December 16, 2020, 07:50:18 AM
Maybe next year.

I am not really hoping that it will reach a new ATH, I mean I am but then it seems it cant and then it can and then it cant so I don't know. If it happens, it happens. It is not like I will be selling all of my Bitcoins, maybe just some of them and use it to celebrate the exit of this worst year and welcome a new and maybe prosperous year.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake COVID-19 vaccines....by Paying in Bitcoins on: December 16, 2020, 06:47:26 AM
Why people need to buy vaccines when Govt will distribute them at a very low cost and even free in some countries. Also till now, two approved vaccines need certain conditions to preserve. Moderna’s vaccine requires minus 20-degree temperature and Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine needs minus 70 degrees temperature which even many countries don't have facilities to preserve. So how people will buy and preserve those vaccines.

Obviously most of them wanted to be the first ones.

They are desperate and I think even with the bitcoins they have to buy these fake vaccines, they should stop doing it. As they've said, it is not bad to buy using Bitcoin but they should also be careful as not all of these sources are authentic or legitimate, that is so dangerous.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: December 16, 2020, 05:55:44 AM
for me simple. crypto will always be there anytime as long as an internet connection is still there. crypto will be destroyed or destroyed if there is no internet connection. think about it? is what I am talking about right or wrong?

yes that is true, because the internet is the heart of crypto currency,
without the internet everything will not be able to live, not only crypto currency,
but everything related will die.

Die? I din't think so.

As I said, it might just be affected but it will never die. Currencies will be affected but cryptocurrencies will just be there. The same as facebook, or other platforms on the internet. People might not be able to access it but time will come that they will be able to and it will just go back. I don't think internet will be totally shut down if that happened.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 16, 2020, 05:47:31 AM
This youtube douche bag is calling out Conor McGregor on Twitter now. He’s making a mockery of combat sport, I really want to see Mayweather or whoever fights him, smash his skull in. I dunno why but the guy is really irritating me.
It is annoying but they're living on this. A drama for them to have noisier name just for the sake of this match.

Logan Paul mocks Floyd Mayweather's height ahead of big boxing fight

And just as another Paul, mocking too.

Jake Paul mocked after calling out UFC legend Conor McGregor in cringe social media vid

Not surprising.

They've been doing these matches for clout for a while. It all started by his older brother, Logan and now taking it much further by attracting big names in the big league. At first I was kind of excited seeing popular YouTubers fighting each other but I think this is just going further down the hole. Let Youtubers fight Youtubers.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: December 13, 2020, 04:11:19 AM
I agree with vanity you have higher chance of winning in sports betting if you analyze the game itself and the team involved rather than relying on betting strategy such as martingale wherein you will double your bet everytime you are losing something like that.
Doubling your bet will not be a good idea to gamble, especially if you see that you don't have a big chance to win by using that strategy. If you feel overconfident with your strategy, you can forget that gambling is not just making a strategy and test it, but it should have the luck to win. Every gambler will have their best strategy that will only work for them and not for the other people. If other people want to use their strategy, they need to modify or create a new strategy to work with them.

This still depends.

It doesn't work with other people and it work to some. Every gambler has its own ways of doing Martingale, they have their own version of it. They don't need to modify if they can't do that, it is just that I hope that if they are planning to apply this strategy, this betting system, they should be able to understand that it is not a 100% win and they should also remember that they could still lose their money.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There any legit "android" games you play using cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2020, 07:36:44 AM
You might want to check out Axie Infinity, they can be played on mobile. The game is a turn based RPG where you control pets that will attack using cards. They are available in PC too.

Link: https://axieinfinity.com/

This is what I am also playing.

It is an android game but I don't think that it is a gambling game. I don't have any idea about a casino that made a mobile application because all I know is that there are sites that support mobile browsers. It is a turn-based RPG as @Lorence said but you should be knowledgeable first because you are the one that would buy your first axies, you should know the best axie to buy and the best ones to start with because it is important. Quality over quantity.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My analysis and opinion about btc and eth year 2020 on: December 11, 2020, 05:52:35 AM
I thought it won't then I thought it will and now I don't think it will.

The Bitcoin price slides back to $17.9K now having a pull and push at $18K. Ethereum might reach another ATH this year with the 2.0 coming up, there are even some articles that talk about eth hitting $10K which is possible but I think that possibility is just ranging from 1-3%? so I don't think that would be happening this year the next or the next of it. Maybe Bitcoin at $40K before it happens.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heavy BTC resistance at $20k on: December 11, 2020, 05:34:26 AM
Bitcoin resistance is now at $ 19700, indeed $ 20k must be passed,
because the all time high bitcoin in 2017 was at $ 20k, but I'm sure if $ 19700 can be passed then $ 20k can be reached easily,
hopefully the Bitcoin price can stay on support

It seems the resistance is high.

The price right now is at $17.9K, it slipped from $18K to this price that we have right now. We can't still break the resistance and the price might just stay and just go back and forth at $17K and $18K. Maybe it is still too early to say that we will be having another ATH this year. There might be a huge adoption that would happen next year so let's just wait for it.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government don't accept Bitcoin. on: December 11, 2020, 02:35:11 AM
Simply because bitcoin and the government are completely the opposite when it comes system approach. Bitcoin is a decentralized while the government are using fiat currency which are centralized. This is why I am thinking that government can never accept bitcoin. Yet, we do not need government for the bitcoin system. I am glad that bitcoin can work out independently and not getting affected by any government economy especially now that we are in pandemic so fiat currency were probably affected by this as an inflation rate which is the outcome of this pandemic.

But whether the government accepts bitcoin or not, they should have considerations only to allow their people to use it, but the problem with the government they think more of is enforcing taxes to make them profitable. We are lucky in our country, although cryptocurrency is not yet legal but they allow us to use it freely. We can also use bitcoin to pay our bills and there are some stores that already accepting bitcoin as payment method.

You don't need to say whether they accept Bitcoin or not.

When they don't accept Bitcoin, that just means that they will be banning Bitcoin and that also means that it will be illegal to be used. That is why it is better that they don't bother when the people are either using it or not. If they make it legal, the time will come that it will either be accepted and have taxes or ban it because they can't control it.
356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government don't accept Bitcoin. on: December 10, 2020, 12:19:02 PM
You don't need to explain.

The time you do that, you might just be caught by not following the rule against the illegality of Bitcoin. If you really wanted to use Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, I think it is better if you will just use it without them knowing. Bitcoin may record all of the transactions in the Blockchain but I don't think they would be able to determine or pinpoint the address you're using.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Emmanuel Rodriguez vs. Nonito Donaire - December 19 on: December 10, 2020, 11:16:09 AM
Been waiting for this and then this happened.

If Nonito Donaire can't fight, I agree that it should just be canceled. I've been supporting the Filipino Flash with his first fight against Inoue and I thought Donaire could win. If he won't fight, that just means there will be no rematch which kind of sad because I want to see how Nonito gets back up from that fight. Gaballo is also a great fighter, I will support him if this continues but I really hope it is Nonito getting in that ring.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 10, 2020, 10:38:30 AM
Prefer to bet on the teams or players of whom I know and have done some research about their chances of winning as against their opponent and accordingly only do place the bets. For other events odds may be high but if without knowing anything just placing the bets on such things is like blindly guessing it without having any clue which I avoid it. Only if for other higher odds I am sure about the team winning chances and can place bet on just 1 of the games then I would choose with higher odds.

I would do thesame thing (research the teams) if I consider that my method of determining the odds could be better than what others have determined for us. I guess that's part of the reason many don't bother doing the research themselves... they blindly guess.

I don't think that is it.

There are a lot of people that are betting their money in these games not just because they wanted to but because they know a team is in favor(higher odds) which also means that they have certain knowledge about the game and the teams. I think they don't just blindly guess but they predict based on what they know.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 10, 2020, 01:42:44 AM
So was it a exhibition match? I think we all know who the winner is and for me I didn't find this an interesting match they are just going to make some money unlike Roy Jones and Mike Tyson, both were retired legends and it's worth watching for.

Hope more boxing legends would fight another one. I am born in the year where most of these legends are retired and all I know most are Pacquaio and other Mexican and Puerto Rican boxers that take Pacquiao on to defend his title or take champions' titles. Let's think of it, just after a legendary fight of two retired legends, someone will just go back to his retirement and fight a YouTuber that has no chance of winning or even giving him sweat.

I agree with this.

Let the YouTubers do their clout thing, let them fight other YouTubers too. Floyd Mayweather is one of those popular names in the world of Boxing, he's an undefeated champion, for G's sake! I know this is just the easy money and for the exposure of Logan Paul but it is kind of disappointing how a pro would never want to face another pro instead fight an amateur for the sake of the money.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: December 09, 2020, 11:21:11 AM
$ 20k will be reached by the end of the year, yes everyone is sure that it happens !,
so don't sell bitcoins below $ 20k, just hold on, if everyone holds Bitcoin the price increases will happen,
come on! we have to work together!

The price is going back and forth at $17K and $18K now.

Few weeks before this worse year ends and the price of Bitcoin is still great. The possibility of the price reaching another ATH is still there, despite that the price is falling at $17K, it is just getting back faster to $18K and it might just go back to $19K in the next few days. ATH or not, it is been a great run this year for Bitcoin.
