Look at all the little baby profit takers selling right before the $350 wall.

A 30K wall can't hold us down but a 2K one will? I better sell because we will never cross that! Lol

@barrysilbert: Surprised how few are connecting the recent selling pressure to the Oct 15 tax extension deadline. Taxes due from '09-'13 mining/usage/sales

The well known bagholders seem more nervous then ever before.

Who?

i've got a question.. so the sell wall whale is selling 30k coins via an exchange. how's he going to deposit that $9 million into his bank account without arousing suspicion

anyways, i guess the upside is that we have a shitload of support at 300.

By paying taxes.

17.31K

i wonder what will happen after the wall was torn down, will this manbearwhale transformed into manbullwhale and buy all the way up to 3000usd ?
 Grin

Seems like he would have to hate money to do that.

Not if he has another 100K BTC. He pretty much would sell 30K at $300 to get enough cash to run up the price and make his remaining 100K worth $3000 each.
350  Economy / Speculation / Re: 25k btc's are about to be dumped on just bitstamp on: October 06, 2014, 03:58:31 AM
This is fucking insane.

Massive dumping to surely follow.

Why?
351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 06, 2014, 01:18:23 AM
If this guy really does just want to sell, why is going about it in such a retarded way to pretty much gaurentee the lowest possible profit?

Maybe nobody is willing to buy them for more than $300. They are just trying to find the sweet spot. Or maybe they have an arrangement with a buyer to use stamp as a middle man to buy 20K+ coins, and they don't trust each other enough to do it OTC.
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 06, 2014, 01:16:24 AM
So who here remembers the 10K wall around $270 before the last bubble? That was so fun to watch when someone bought the whole thing. Maybe this is another "meeting" of a buyer and seller, unless they just want to sell what they have left the smart way, because dumping would bring us around 0.

I do remember that. Could have eaten his own wall though.

Just remember this: This wall is soaking up every last USD on bitstamp. This is gonna cause big issues in the future.. where BFX, Huobi, and OKCoin are still full of buyers are Bitstamp is completely void of anything but bagholders. Could be a blessing in disguise that he didnt split these coins across multiple exchanges. Or, it could just end really badly if bitstamp ends up dumping hard.

Arbitrage will take care of that Monday. Along with new fiat coming in. If anybody wants a huge stash of BTC for around $300 a pop is probably in a hurry to rush money to stamp.

Who said they were dumping them?  Roll Eyes

The next 24K coins are criticalTM
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 05, 2014, 06:23:58 PM
I'm wondering how many complaints there will be when the next run up has folks complaining that there are no coins to buy or their orders got cancelled?

Being as almost all of the ask side belongs to our bear whale, when we do have a reversal he will remove all those asks, letting the shorts burn their way up up up through thin asks. There will be a massive shortage of coins, with many people chasing them.

Instant profit for the bear whale, and everyone who bought in low.

Worse.... LSU fan. Lol
359  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is why the price of bitcoin is dropping on: October 05, 2014, 03:55:08 AM
Everyone has their "reason"

The only thing that matters is if you are buying thanks to the "manipulation" or selling thanks to the "manipulation"

It is likely that we will never know why, therefore I just buy.
