Did you drink the dank kool-aid?

haha i wish! no I come from a psychological back ground. BS in Psychology. I know that a group of people think positively about a common goal that amazing outcomes can happen.

if others read what we might do than they will start to get excited about bitcoin and maybe go buy some. then the more people buy and try the more universally accepted it becomes. but if they read all the FUD about it then they will be more reluctant to try it.

change the thought process to good, money, change, fun and exciting. not fear, loss, scared, uncertain, shame, dread, etc.

just an experiment. thats all
344  Other / Off-topic / lets start to get positive and begin beliving! on: April 27, 2013, 01:42:13 AM
Hi everyone, I just want to start a thread for all the believers out there. For all of you who like to dream big and put good positive energy into there lives and hope that one day that Bitcoins will be the world currency, or at lest be main stream. for those who want to not worry about money (fiat or otherwise how to pay for things) and live there true dream life.

I want you to share your thoughts on how big bitcoin can be realistically and how there ten, twenty, one hundred coins are going to change there life for the better, if that means getting rich so you can buy a house than say that, if its so you can send your kids to collage than say that too, if its to change the banking system and free our selves from over taxation than share it!. if its so you can raise a family and not worry about how to pay for it write it down! lets hear your dreams and speculate on the UP side of bitcoin. Grin

I would appreciate those who would like the price to fall and those that are pessimistic and like to point out problems about bitcoins or the way its used, or are negative, on the whole, to not post.

START DREAMING BIG!!!

Sounds legit.

it is and so many people are going to just throw in a twenty because they are curious. oh man, this is good news, i would say 300 easy a month after they come out. 650 after six months. ill give to charity if i ever make a lot. defined by 10 x investment.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 26, 2013, 07:28:37 PM
This guy flip flops more than Mitt Romney!  Amirite?

347  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 26, 2013, 05:06:22 PM

I like smoothie and proudhon WAY more than your bull shit.

edit: he took it down off the newbie section....cuz its not there and there would be a "moved to such and such location"
348  Economy / Speculation / Re: so much FUD on: April 26, 2013, 02:40:27 PM
Meeeeen as soon as the price goes down the knifes come out!

Keep it cool bulls - sometimes the price has to go down.

First JR member that has something good to say.

seriously what is going on?  In a thread that was ment to say hey everyone lets take a step back and maybe tone down the rhetoric.  Everyone is getting all pissy and rude. I like the PO post, if your a bull, bear, or MAYBE just people that like to talk about BITCOINS, we all need to just think a little before we jump right in and spew whatever we want. lets post interesting thoughtful topics that we can all discus.

dont get me wrong im as guilty as the next guy about this (maybe not as bad as some...but wont get into that) Ill try to tone it down and just talk about bitcoin....the thing that brought us all here.

but one last thing, to all of you who sold out and hold nothing. please GTFO and go play Frisbee or go bowling. Just dont post on here if you are not holding.  thats the worst IMO. "bla bla bla i hate btc and its not going anywhere or it should go to a billion dollars. I know everything about everything about coin and life and you are doing everything wrong!!! ......but i have no coin."
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 26, 2013, 02:13:31 PM
keep on hammering away at that FUD, weren't you pondering buying back in at $160 earlier?
It isn't FUD, it's a genuine observation.

your right and your wrong.

not fud, but not observation....speculation. you dont know the future my friend. also it wont be a group of silicone valley brains but the gov or FEDERAL RESERV BANK. they are the most powerful entity in the world and they give the thumbs up or down on this type of currency. they do have the power to destroy this. IMO THEY will make one or have your boys in SV make it and then they will control it and they will be able to make more just like they do with paper money and they will have the largest holdings, also they will control the price. that is the ONLY way America would adopt a cryptocurency.
350  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITSTAMP ALWAYS A BETTER DEAL on: April 26, 2013, 01:03:50 PM
I'm a big fan of their interface/design. I just wish getting money from US banks -> bitcoin/s weren't such a pain in the ass, I'm currently going to try money gram or buying off of the forums via paypal, anyone have expierience using bitinstant-> zipzap?

ya if i didnt buy my coins with coinbase than thats all i did was buy coins with bitinstant-zipzap.  I did more than ten transactions with them. only one was delayed. usually quite good. just go there pay the amount plus three dollers and bam you have your coins when you get home. and zip Zap IS A GOOD LEGIT COMPANY TOO. THEY DO GOOD WORK
351  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: April 26, 2013, 02:34:01 AM
Bitstamp, if you are not American, is not the easiest place to get USD in and out of last time I checked it out.

The fees for the international transfers were pretty high as well, if I recollect correctly.

um ya but bitinstant sends your money anywhere also bitcoins are these things that you can transfer anywhere for freeeeeee
352  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: April 26, 2013, 02:32:11 AM

oh, so a talk about bitcoins for people that are IN bitcoins.  Damn, i must have read it wrong. but like you say, it probably a good thing.  personaly I think BTC should be some what under the radar for the time being.
356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How come some people all of a sudden are willing to pay so much for bitcoin? on: April 26, 2013, 12:08:04 AM
http://www.bitcoinnews.com/

the comercial world we live in is about to start using Bitcoin, the finite amount of this will lead for further growth.

its been said befor but if 1% of all the worlds wealth went into bitcoins ..... just 1% then each B would be worth 10,000. each.
