I purchased BTCD @0.0085 i thought its a good point after 0.05 reversal, but i was wrong, its even more down, i have a loss of around 1.3 btc i put in 5 BTC kindly give me your valuable feedback what should i do , i am a student, i have lost alot in past, but not sure why i allways loose ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) you havent lost anything untill you sell, put your coins in your wallet and stake dude you be fine You could have exited yesterday with profit. If anyone wants to swap from BTCD to KMD at the official swap please let me know. You can get the KMD now rather than wait till the 1st of June ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hello everyone, I own a BTSD on the Polonix exchange in the amount of 1 bitcoin and their message on the last pages did not quite understand what will happen to the coins on June 1. Btsd will continue to bargain or do I need to exchange it for Komodo? On which exchange can you now trade using a komodo? Will it soon appear on poloniex? Nothing is going to happen to BTCD. The project has no developers as it became Komodo. You can swap your BTCD to KMD until January 2018. 1 BTCD = ~50 KMD 1) swap through ico.komodoplatform.com 2) request a KMD payout, see the OP for instructions The payouts are processed manually on the first Friday of each month.

Is it planned to be listed on other exchanges? If yes, then when?
We have no plans to get listed on any centralized exchange. There are few problems: 1) we will pay dividends, and exchanges cannot list revenue sharing assets due to the increasing regulations 2) we are in the middle of transformation from NXT assets to their own blockchain via Komodo assetchains. This will happen during the summer. After summer SuperNET will be trading in Agama's decentralized exchange. P.S. we are still trading in Nxt Asset Exchange Thanks for the answer. It's good that there will be a transition from Nxt Assets. Because, the NXT platform looks dead ( So we should wating the summer for the Agama's decentralized exchange? Currently the back end is being tested and the GUI team is working on a fundamental code base upgrade. After that upgrade is done they can make the EasyDEX GUI.

Just wondering it's been quite a while since we have had a wallet update... Are we maybe going to see something new this month? Not rushing by any means only eagerly awaiting.....
This time the gui team is completely rewriting the code and moving to a new framework. For this reason it's taking longer than usual but they say it will be a completely different experience and will fix the common issues. It's already well advanced but still too early to set a date for release. What was the main reason for completely rewriting/switching the code? Why not just work on improving current code? Seemed like things were going smoothly and quickly with the bug fixing before. Just concerned that new code = more bugs. This was explained in the last Agama update that had its broad roadmap: https://supernet.org/en/resources/updates/get-ready-for-decentralized-exchange-agama-development-roadmapCurrently the GUI consists of vanilla JavaScript code and jQuery. It is working, but as the code base grows it will become harder to manage. The EasyDEX-GUI code needs a more efficient and modern technological approach, especially when it comes to coding the decentralized exchange Graphic User Interface (GUI). The team has decided to go with react.js.
The frontend upgrade to react.js will be done right after we have made sure that the current version is stable enough and works for most users.
The team will try to reuse as much of the existing codebase as possible while porting to new backend technology so that this upgrade should not take too much time to finish. We already have developer resources ready that will be contributing to further EasyDEX-GUI development. This upgrade may take 2-4 weeks. It is hard to say at the moment but, as indicated above, the target would be to complete this as soon as possible.
There haven't been any major updates since that last post as it is still very valid and up to date. The GUI team is following the broad roadmap described there. Since it seems the coin has stabilized for now, i've re-enabled https://kmd.suprnova.cc for mining / withdrawals etc Yay! I will include suprnova.cc to the OP again. Can anyone help me out here? I have several questions. I have 0.028 BTCD from a wallet from 3-4 years ago, once it finally syncs and stakes any idea how much BTCD i'll have?
Also, how do I convert this BTCD to KMD? What's the difference?
BTCD doesn't have developers anymore, KMD has a strong roadmap. Read back a little and you will see a roadmap description. You can swap through ico.komodoplatform.com To withdraw the KMD follow the payout instructions in the OP of this thread.

What will happen to my SuperNet UNITY (Nxt Asset)? I withdraw all to my local Nxt wallet now.
Nothing will happen to it, after your withdrawal you will be in control of it instead of Poloniex. During the summer we will port all the NXT assets into Komodo assetchains (independent blockchains). More info about that when the time comes.

is it still possible to covert BTCD to KMD?
Yes, the swap will last until January 2018. You can swap on ico.komodoplatform.com. Remember to request a KMD payout after you have swapped. Next payout on June 2nd

Can anyone share a link to a road-map or more information about the future of KMD?
Thanks
Here's our roadmap: Finished milestones - security (dPoW) - privacy (zk-SNARKs) Half finished milestones - stable assets (Komodo Currencies) Future milestones - smart contracts - smart businesses - hierarchical chains Komodo Platform is building financial innovations, and the smart contracts are a natural next step after all the privacy/security features and the pegged Komodo Currencies (32 national currencies). We will create technology that allows people to organize horizontally with smart businesses (or decentralized organizations). With the technology, you can fund/get funded anonymously, interact with your shareholders/co-workers anonymously, and pay dividends. In essence, we will build tools that allow people to interact with each other without permission or third party. The hierarchical chains vision is about making blockchain scale. We can use the dPoW, DEX, and lock/redeem innovations we already created to launch additional blockchains that are part of the same network. For example, we could launch a Komodo chain#2, and funds could move from chain#1 to chain#2 with a similar mechanism the KMD moves to kUSD, or kEUR chain (Komodo Currencies). These additional blockchains would be secured with dPoW and connected with DEX. The user could make a payment using any of those blockchains, and of course, the KMD supply wouldn't arbitrary increase as the KMD gets locked in one chain at the same time it moves to another chain. Having ten chains will increase the tx capacity by tenfold, and that is how we can scale Komodo, the Komodo currencies, or any coin that is launched within our platform.

every block, each utxo gains simple interest in order to compound it, you need to spend it. there is a one hour setback and with txfee, the optimum is maybe a daily tx. not sure.
an extra 0.1% per year or so can be gained by compounding
Okay, that means the interest rate for interest is 0.1% if I do not transfer the received interest. Now if I transfer the 1.3 KMD from address A to B and back to A (transaction costs of 0.002 KMD), 5% interest is paid on the whole 10.001,3 KMD, right? When you hold a balance it automatically receives 5 % annual interest. Once you create a transaction the interest is added to your main balance, and then the new sum will start acquiring interest. If you do nothing you will receive 5 % annual interest. If you move it every day or every second day you get compound interest which would give you ~5.1 % annual interest... quite marginal. You can also just send it back to the same address, so there's no need to create two transactions. All in all, thinking about this just makes a simple thing overly complex ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Just hodl your KMD, there's nothing you have to do.

any secret how to get the agama wallet to send KMD on windows. It worked with Iguana one or two times before but most of the time it doesnt.
Did you uninstall Iguana before you installed Agama? Here's an upgrade guide: https://github.com/SuperNETorg/Agama/wiki/Agama-Desktop-Installation-and-Upgrade-InstructionsGood Morning (at least for me) to all. I'm buying some KMDs on exchanges and transferring them on my Agama wallet and actually I have a decent amount. All ok since yesterday. Starting from this morning, the wallet is showing "0" balance and no transactions, both in Basilisk and Native mode.
Any clue on how I can solve this issue, please?
Seed seem ok.
What does the block explorer show? You can PM me the details and we will take a look. kpx.io

Does anyone know the emission schedule of KMD? Can't seem to find a concrete answer anywhere. Right now the block reward is 3 KMD, at which block will this change and to how much?
It stays at 3 kmd till max supply is hit Yes, and max supply is 200M (now 100,9M) There is also a 5 % APR interest to the KMD holders, that too stays until we reach 200M supply. That is expected to take ~14 years. Been a while since I wander around this thread, can you please inform me if the interest also applied for me? I have some KMD from my signature campaign (I think you have a good memory of who am I, sorry for bugging you weeks ago ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) and I haven't transfer them to any wallet or anywhere, so the amount supposed to be still sitting on wherever the dev send it on the first place. If I got some interest, then I am surely will be in no hurry to look for an alternative to send my KMD elsewhere. Yes, the bounty payment was sent to your address directly. It's now under your control and you automatically receive interest. When you want to access your investment simply login to Agama Wallet with your seed

A reminder about the bug in Agama wallet. When you create a new seed you will have to exit the app and login again. Double check you have only one deposit address before depositing any funds. The bug has been fixed already for the next release.
Always be careful with new software. Better to double check everything very carefully.
Also, please backup the wallet.dat file if you are using Native Mode!

to Devs, During the swap period, devs made statement that swapped BTCD will remain in 1 address and won't do anything which means burnt. If swapped(burnt) BTCD is re-used by any means, Isn't it double profiting? (illegal?) It could be violating the terms which made the BTCD/Komodo swap possible. (creating millions worth of new coin generates enormous tax problems which Komodo devs solved by swapping BTCD and ICO) and to hear that swapped BTCD could be re-used again makes me worry because it jeopardizes both Komodo holders and remaining BTCD holders.
any comment on this concern devs?
Yes, and that statement holds. All BTCD will be kept in that one public address for the duration of the swap. https://www.blockexperts.com/btcd/address/RXL3YXG2ceaB6C5hfJcN4fvmLH2C34knhAI have noticed there haven't been any incoming transfers to this address since April the 4th. What happened to the 50k+ BTCD from the last batch? Is James gonna gamble with them on Polo? We don't sell or move the swapped BTCD. It just takes time for them to go to that address. I believe there's some min amount that has to be swapped before it bundles them all into a single transaction and sends to that final address. Does the Agama app require connections outside the United States to operate correctly?
As far as I know no. Whether you are US resident or no you can enjoy the same GUI functionality as others. However, the recently discovered bug could be due to connectivity issues, namely a fair amount of connections from non-US IPS could trigger some kind of inconsistency in the code and result in what was referred to as bug but there's still the possibility it was a deliberate mistake. Yeah, Agama Wallet is a permissionless app. You don't have to ask anyone's persmission to use it, just like you don't have to ask anyones permission to send/receive bitcoins. Just do it! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
