341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][IEO] MY IDENTITY COIN 🚀 IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY🚀 NO LOCK-IN PERIOD on: September 12, 2022, 10:04:07 PM
it is interesting to see a lot of developments on this project on this thread but the last update on the project twitter handle is over 8 months ago with over 5k followers. If they lost the handle they should let followers know, probably report it or get another one. It is unfair to keep those there in the dark for whatever reason. Exchange listings seem to dominate the announcements here, they should add more to the project itself. Improve the use case and engage a new level of adoption.
342  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 12, 2022, 05:28:43 PM
Its a privilege to see the reign and death of the Queen of England in one's lifetime. Have seen the epitome of royalty and authority in her life time and pray she rest well. I saw the movie the crown few years back and I appreciate the British royalty, the culture, power and discipline for the thrown. Now I one see how it was well prepared for, which shows the orderliness and preparation even in the turmoil around the world. For those mentioning colonization, most came before the reign of Queen Elizabeth, let us at least let this honor be for her in few days.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Which fiat money are you holding right now in case of emergency needs? on: September 11, 2022, 09:32:17 PM
All this economic war are just distraction, they are meant to move money around, somehow distribute wealth and make new millionaires. USA understand this war but the enemies of USA are careless to understand how to handle it. Russia is now looking for help everywhere to defeat Ukraine they least expect to extended this war this long. Russia is most hit by inflation although the world is also suffering from it and other countries have realize the important of living without Russia and the oil.
344  Other / Archival / Re: Mods are constantly trying to put the thread in the altcoin section on: September 11, 2022, 09:08:42 PM
Maybe the beginner and help tend toward new member's use of the forum. Most of the topics mentioned by the OP in my own opinion look like topics for altcoins discussion although some similar topics will be found in the beginner right now. However, no thread address topic differentiate topics in both section, I hope a moderator can come on the thread to help out.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: September 11, 2022, 08:56:56 PM
Trust me, the price will always be in both directions (up and down) and that is why bitcoin is called a highly volatile asset. Speculators can always predict what will happen in the future, but none of them can guarantee when it will go up and when it will go down.

I believe that the right advice for anyone is to respond wisely to all market conditions. There's no need to rush into making an entry, we can still be patient for something that gives us a good chance. Even if people think something very bullish, but I expect the bears to continue longer.
You know the problem, most newbies don't know much about cryptocurrency, they just hear people talking about it and they also decided to buy coin, mostly they hear people saying good things about bitcoin so they always think it's like that, have seen someone introducing crypto to his friend and he was saying the guy will never lose money, funniest part is that he wanted his friend to be trading futures, I was just shaking my head because I know at the end the guy will really be disappointed because he will definitely lose money, most newbies believe if you guy a coin you will be in profit immediately and they don't know market will go up and will come down.
Everyone was like this at the beginning in the space even Satoshi don't have the full knowledge of the market's economic in 2009 but what did we do at this time? I wont recommend all I did to reduce the mistake, I will only tell people what I would have done better. I will recommend every newbie to get sincere mentors with 2 cycle experience in bitcoin especially here and twitter. Follow and read all there writeup to understand there positions, readup what u dont understand and ask question. Then divide your fund into at least 10 then gradually position yourself
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing for a real Assets on: September 10, 2022, 08:52:59 PM
Asset is anything that has future benefit or expectation. Out of all existing asset bitcoin stood out as the best with highest return on investment in over 50 years, although it has exceed 20 years. Bitcoin is a money market that only depends demand and supply, a form of speculation market, this features is worrisome to many countries and they are not comfortable with the growth of the coin. Is more of wealth changing hands in 4 years.
347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: September 10, 2022, 08:38:53 PM
If we should be honest to ourselves, the way btc is moving now is different from what it used to be. I believe a bull run that was supposed to happen has been defeated and seems we moved from bear to another bear. My fear is that we could also continue till another bear. There are many strong news waiting to shake the market the more. The US Congress decision and the proposed regulation of PoW. This isn't a good season for cryptocurrency, if we eventually move from bear to another bear without touching $30k, it means some top altcoins might not survive this time around.

Short term investors should be vigilant and check out for fundamentals while long term investors should approach the market with DCA.
All discouraging words of moving from one bear to another will only come out at this time in the bear market, human psychology around this time has always  been the same and will get worse when we step down by the end or year or early next year. There are actually few changes in btc and they are results of the increasing number of longttime holders, this may prevent the 90% dump from previous bear. We usually dont know the news that will shake the market, they are always sudden. We will eventually have the bull market, one mini pump will come to settle the dust before the halving and it wont break the previous ATH.
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Bitcoin Traders Arrested Due To Illegal Trading on: September 09, 2022, 10:04:52 PM
If we are talking about Bangladesh here there are many things to say like Bangladesh Bitcoin is not completely illegal it is kept at a neutral level now there are some people who think that dollar transaction is money laundering, I can see this in front of them keyboard mice there are many things in fact they are not criminals only if they have it. It has been seen many times in the past that people who used to sell dollars by p2p method have been caught by the police many times and objections have been raised against them that they are doing money laundering however the current situation seems to be Blockchain will be implemented in Bangladesh very soon let's see what happens.
Am confused with the information, maybe the information is not complete. Money laundering to me may not be scamming people so we might need some clarification as well, I also observed that those in Government are more into laundering than the regular citizens, so the allegation sometimes looks targetted. More so how did the P2P pay on dollar not the local currency, that's not proper as well.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: September 09, 2022, 09:31:39 PM
It is a long test of patience in the bear market, If you are willing at the moment to buy, you can buy but will just advice to buy a small percentage incase we test the lower soon. I believe that we will see a leg or 2 down, this occurrence is not new, it happens regularly in the cycle. Bitcoin has always been profitable even if you buy at an ATH, so any time of purchase is good deal
350  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: September 09, 2022, 09:11:54 PM

I pray dey don’t discard dem afta d election don end. Becos I get friend too wey don do am before and dem no recruit any of dem, dey dumped dem and paid dem afta d election. D allowance no dey even do dem at all but as hustler you gatz just manage am like dat. D tin be say d recruitment sef na until u know person there wey go fit run am for you, if not nothing for you still oo. Dem dey use am dey get small cash out too for there, as dem no dey carry the number of people wey dey pay dem to recruit.
It is not wise decision to keep recruiting into a sector that works only in 4 years and stayed at home in majority of the years and earn. It will be wise to combine more sectors with similar period of work like the census etc. Creating jobs will cost government a lot money and policies, and Nigeria got a lot of fund for this but wont do anything on, they will need given out loans to small scale business, create enabling environment for foreign companies, create channels for daily jobs with pay etc
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: September 08, 2022, 08:40:56 PM
Altcoins make great profit both existing and new, sometimes they make more profit than bitcoin. The only challenge about altcoin, is identifying a good project early. a lot of all these altcoins are scam or one cycle project; they lack good and experienced team, fund, community and idea that can last 4 years. Majority of projects with a sole developer, scam the project and refuse to proceed in the development. So, no matter how trusted a new project is, take your profit before the dump.
352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom For Bitcoin? on: September 08, 2022, 10:53:01 AM
Most of my trusted crypto analysts predicts 10-13k bottom, sometimes it might take months to see such predictions come to pass but it will. Most buy orders is said to be in that range and nothing seem to be keeping the present price there, so it is likely going to drop. Just a bad news could help it, we have seen several cases like that. The psychology of the market especially with the traders is very important and their are good experts that understand this.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the failure of El Salvador on: September 08, 2022, 10:44:26 AM
Over the years such developments come in the bull, just to keep the momentum but I always think the bear is more appropriate for such adoption where they can pick up bitcoin at cheap price and store. I also think those countries also need to have their stable coin, maybe with backup from by dollar made as profit from the bull and stored bitcoin. A volatile coin at the moment does not make provision of other assets although it make better return on investment than others.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi, the common on: September 06, 2022, 05:48:26 PM
We have those closest to the being Satoshi in the last few years and they have only been distraction to the project and irrelevant. At the moment I dont think knowing Satoshi would be that interesting especially since the claim of holding 1 million bitcoin looks invalid. Saying Satoshi is a poor guy is never true with your premises, inventions in IT are not easy and cheap especially in 20th century. Bitcoin was described as a PhD project, after it, many marketing process followed into making it known which I dont think is cheap as well
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in september on: September 06, 2022, 05:39:45 PM
Is there any news for bitcoin asides that of ethereum for September?
356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance to remove USDC as a tradable asset. on: September 06, 2022, 09:27:31 AM
According to the Binance article that I read about it through the twitter link that you posted above, not only USDC, but USDC, USDP and TUSD.

According to the Binance article, people will still be able to deposit and withdraw in USDC, USDP and TUSD. But for trading, it would be automatically converted to BUSD on Binance. But if you deposit USDC, USDP and TUSD, you will be able to withdraw in the respective coins.

I hate this about Binance that is looking for all means to make sure BUSD dominates the stable coin by all means,
Whichever way you put it in my own opinion, Binance decision will out-rightly stop the trade of it on their exchange. Why deposit a coin on an exchange to withdraw it later, it just doesn't make sense, if they still allow USDT, it is still a fair idea. Most of these stable coins are likely going to have problem in the future with result of algorithm stable coin and the dump. Stable coins are the most shady crypto in the space, they just print money anyhow. I also don't think binance should give such favorable platform to other competitive stable coin when stable coin use will increase soon when bottom purchase will resume.
357  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: September 06, 2022, 09:19:20 AM
Except the government is doing nothing about inflation and communicating with the populace, citizen should not put more pressure on the government on inflation. Inflation is everywhere in the world and the top countries are equally hit with it. They are not responsible for the pandemic and war but we all felt the outcome of the period. Even Russia is hit with over 15% inflation which I find the metric deceptive, asides the pandemic there are no reason for the height of inflation in the country and they benefiting more from the world economy in my opinion.
358  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trade Bitcoin Without Fees on: September 05, 2022, 10:17:15 PM
I dont think we should continue to talk about the transaction fee of bitcoin as been high at all. Transaction fee is said to have reduced massively and even faster. it is so insignificant at the moment and deliberation has shifted to the store value of bitcoin and how to manage the volatility to preserve  interest of institutions and sustain inflow of fund in the space.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria to establish an economic zone which is crypto friendly with Binance on: September 05, 2022, 09:51:29 PM
It important they reveal details of the provision by the Government. I dont trust such provision by the Government, is it not the same Government that has been siphoning the citizens with terrible and unfriendly economic policies. Binance needs to think very well before making any decision with the government. We are still safe and satisfy with P2p transaction, they should not allow themselves to be compromise. Nigeria is one of the largest user of the exchange, if they are not careful they will lose the country's users massively.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian FG to partner Binance on: September 05, 2022, 09:41:01 PM
So with all this hatred of Cryptocurrency in the past why is the Government now seeing a different light in Partnering with a Cryptocurrency Heavyweight like Binance? are they waking up from their slumber or is this just proof of what we have been saying all along, If not for their own selfish interest they wouldn't do it for the people.
What's your take?
The ban was in response to the 2020 protest of endsar that people were alleged to be contributing financially to the youth protest against police brutality. It coincide with ban on twitter. Government did not announce the relaxation of ban on exchanges, we just noticed that the banks are no more strict with transactions that involve cryptocurrency and the monitoring of transaction, however, Binance and other fiat to crypto had already adopted P2p transaction that was not reverted till date. I just hope Binance wont sell us to the country with new agreements.
