sapphire nitro fury, clock @ 1100, -100mv.  You should mod it to be -150mv or more (test it out), plus bring the memory clock to 400 or even 300.  I just have one, its on my gaming computer and so it mines during the night.  I'm actually mining zec with it.  dual mining uses too much electricity, its too hot in my room Sad  drivers are 16.6 or 16.11.x or something like that cant remember.  I have a 470 that mines on that computer too.  maybe try with 16.3.2 drivers, i think thats the best.

Thanks! I just got the two today and had totally forgot about Afterburner. I believe I might not have enough power to actually power the two unless I undervolt (which I am going to). Because without undervolting, their clock rate fluctuates even below stock. However, when I undervolt -96 but increase power limit, I can only go up to 1070MHz before it gets unstable. Very unfortunate. Oh well, at least I know what the next purchase will be.

When I undervolt, however, I do get 30.5 MH/s ETH and 610 MH/s PASC (dcri 40) per card though, so thanks!

Edit:

What kind of benchmark program is that?

well a fury gets 30.5 and 600mhs, which is good.  470 gets 27mhs and 270mhs.  unfortunately, power consumption is through the roofffffffffffffffffffff
inb4 rig problems

I wrote a small piece on it, see my website if you want.
How are you getting 30.5 MH/s ETH + 600 H/s PASC? I just got two Fury's and I'm not getting close to that with 15.12 drivers.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to break the signature check for Polaris GPU - Win 7,Win 10 on: February 27, 2017, 06:55:53 PM
what is the advantage to using the newest driver instead the "old ones "
Not just much more simpler to install any "older non Crimson-ReLive drivers " without signature check ?
For etherum , zcash, monero , i did not experienced any increased speed , i tried a few "Crimson-ReLive driver" with signature check and modified kernel driver / Pixel Clock Patcher on some of my 6, 7 gpu rigs with custom bios .

When it comes to ZEC mining, new drivers have a lot less hash rate. At least that's what happened on one of my RX 480's. It was hashing at about 2/3 of the possible rate. When I reverted back to the older drivers, it started hashing as it should.

That's my personal experience with it anyway, and with both Claymore and Optiminer claiming that to be the case, then I'm assuming that's what happened.

My 470 8GB Nitro does 28.5 MH/s ETH + 285 H/s PASC.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 26, 2017, 01:48:01 PM
bit confused here.

do i need to put -nofee 1 or -nofee 0 to still donate?
as from what i understand if you don't donate your speed will be lower.

Just don't put anything if you want the fee for Claymore (and mine faster).
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to create 512Kb backup of GPU Bios? on: February 26, 2017, 02:28:52 AM
Are you using the latest version of Atiwinflash? Make sure you're not using the one from 2013.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 25, 2017, 11:48:16 AM
That sounds like it could be it. I'll give it a go, thank you!

Edit: That worked! Thank you so much, you're awesome!
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 25, 2017, 11:22:44 AM
First If you have a Hynix chip, use a 1500 strap.  If you have a Samsung chip, use a 1750 strap.
Then set your settings ot 1980 and 1275.  This will get you 27MHs.  This is the most efficient, but you can go higher with the 1980 and 1275 for more MHs.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, but I'm unable to get it to work. I've got a 480 Nitro 4GB with Elpida memory. I can flash new roms just fine but the GPU then gets error 43 in the device manager. All posts and guides I can find regarding this issue says to replace a specific file (atikmdg.sys), however, that fine simply doesn't exist on either PC I have AMD cards in. So I'm out of luck it seems.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 25, 2017, 02:06:32 AM
I am missing 21 deposits (~500 PASC) on Poloniex from 2017-02-23 01:46:42 to 13:25:53 CST. I created a ticket about 8hrs ago but have yet to receive a response. Very concerning....  now all my mining is going to my personal wallet until its fixed.
Yeah, seems to be about the same-ish timeline for me. Though I'm only missing like 5 PASC, so I don't really care, but I still created a ticket as well. Not because I really want it back, but because of principle. But when it comes to you, then yes, you should definitely get it. It can't just "disappear", can it?

When I asked in their "Trollbox", a mod claimed that it would "sync" when they re-enabled deposits. That hasn't happened yet, however. Hopefully it's just delayed, but you never know.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 10:22:53 PM
I have the exact same results on 3 rigs just like yours.  Anything over 20 for Pasc reduces Eth production.  Runs stable, but not sure mining Pasc is any better than any other alt coin.  Up until now, I have mined DCR, but I have not done the math yet to see which one has the highest profitability.  Anyone done the math on which alt coin is paying out the best based on their production rates?
And I'm in a whole different situation. I also have an RX 480 (though 4GB) but I can't get it mining ETH above 22 MH/s. It doesn't matter if it's mining ETH only or ETH+PASC (or anything else). I can get 22 MH/s ETH + 400 PASC without going below 22 MH/s (at -dcri 36) but I can't get ETH mining higher.

Any ideas?

Edit: Not even overclocking helps. Still stuck at 22 MH/s.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 24, 2017, 09:04:45 PM
While it's possible to deposit to Poloniex now, I still haven't received two deposits from almost 48 hours ago. Three new ones after that has been credited to my account but two older are still missing.

Does anyone else have this issue?
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Current hash rate with R9 Fury Nitro? on: February 24, 2017, 08:50:23 PM

Tested PASC for you
915+ mh on same setup above, downloaded the miner and ran it with default settings
I am sure you will be able to get better results with tweaking or trying another miner
You're awesome, thank you! Although there's currently no other miner that's better than the one you're using (perhaps Nicehash's Excavator but that one only works for Nvidia cards, which I've been using on my GTX 1080).
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Current hash rate with R9 Fury Nitro? on: February 24, 2017, 05:34:59 PM
Every setting left at stock other than the fans.
The card make/model is : SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon™R9 FURY 4G HBM with Back Plate

430+ H/s
Thank you! That's the two cards I've ordered as well. I'm a bit disappointed though, seeing Claymore claims to have his v12.1 running at 450 Sols/s on a Nano. I was under the impression that the Fury is a faster card than the Nano?

Now if only someone is mining PASC or maybe some different ETH dual mining at max speed that would be great.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 03:56:58 PM
I have sgminer for pascal but it's not stable on my rigs and kind of loading my cpus don't know why maybe because of so many operation running in backgroud of sgminer , i am asking about claymore miner for pascal only

sgminer is using an absurd amount of CPU for me on Nvidia cards, but almost nothing on AMD cards. I switched over to Excavator on my Nvidia cards and it was fine.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Current hash rate with R9 Fury Nitro? on: February 24, 2017, 03:51:54 PM
6 x fury's
800/300mem -96mV Win 10 15.12
ZEC = 1800 ish @ 690 watts to the wall (Optiminer)
Eth = 135 ish @ 653 Watts to the wall (Claymore)
Thank you for the reply! However, while you've certainly reduced the energy consumption, I'm interested in the highest possible hash rates since my electricity is free. If you or anyone else has any up-to-date hash rates when not clocked for low wattage, that would be great!

Thank you
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Current hash rate with R9 Fury Nitro? on: February 24, 2017, 01:30:49 PM
Hello,

I've been asking around in a few threads but haven't received an answer, so I feel forced to create a thread about it. Hopefully I'll get a quick reply and can close it so I won't clutter up the forum as much. Sorry.

Long story short, I've gotten a fairly decent price for two Sapphire R9 Fury Nitro's and am tempted to purchase them for mining. Electricity is free and I've got more than enough power from my PSU to power them both.

So I'm wondering what the current hash rate (as of writing) is for ETH, PASC, XMR and ZEC.

I've been googling for hours the last couple of days but haven't found a single recentanswer for them. The only one I've found is regarding ETH+PASC from a single user who claims to get 30.5 MH/s ETH and 600 H/s for PASC when dual mining with the new 8.0 version from Claymore. Other than that, it's all old posts and we all know how quickly things can change. For example, posts claiming to get 150 Sols/s isn't really up-to-date.

Nicehash's calculator isn't really helpful either.

Thank you for reading!

PASC re-active now on polo
No, it's not. Or if it were, they quickly disabled deposits again before syncing the chain.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 23, 2017, 03:28:19 PM
What miner and settings are you using to get that much from a 1080? I'm using suprnova's recommenced sgminer and I only get about 1100.

I'm not at home right now so I can't tell you the exact clock rate, but I only increased the core clock with +150 compared to stock on an Asus GTX 1080 Strix Gaming. I increased power limit and voltage as well, since I don't need to care about electricity. I used Nicehash's Excavator on Nanopool.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: February 23, 2017, 02:49:31 PM
Does anyone have an R9 Fury? If so, what's the current hash rate for ZEC with the latest miners? Also, does anyone know of any custom bios for those?

Thank you!
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 23, 2017, 09:18:33 AM
Does anyone know the current hash rate for R9 Fury? I'm mining with a GTX 1080 at about 1340 H/s, would two Fury's match that or should I mine something else with those instead?

I got a good price on two Fury Nitro's so I went for it.
