341  Other / Meta / Re: Adding Merit was the most correct action against spam, let me explain why on: March 06, 2018, 04:22:21 PM
That's true that, there are a lot of people as you said in Jr member rank or maybe a member are writing good posts and didn't get any single merit point yet. The problem is divided into two things:

1- Members write long posts with good English and nice formed, but they didn't get any merit, why? I think here that the content of his post does not deserve a merit point unless he post an original post which it help others or the forum in general.
2- Members write good quality posts which high content and they didn't get any merit points, It can happen because this post is not yet shown to the right person, but if you continue to do the same, you will be merited soon.

You don't even need to separate this two since they are just the same. There are a lot of people that are creating constructive posts but still they are getting any merits since they don't seem to see the post as constructive or a quality post.

There is a lot of posts like this in the Mega Threads which members don't really read the posts but just spams the board to reach the qouta of their Signature Campaigns.
I think you didn't get the difference between these 2 above points. I will explain to you my point. There are two categories of people, In common they write good English and develop his idea clearly, but they are not same, one will get some merit and the other one not. Why? The member who can get the merit point, he introduced a very great idea with a new content, I mean by a new content is something not found yet in the forum, something original, the other one he can write good but the problem is he can't get points because of the content of his post.

For members who already posts high quality content which they deserve merit points and they didn't get any single one yet, they need to post more to be involved in the forum to be seen.
342  Other / Off-topic / Re: Merit System Upgrade on: March 06, 2018, 04:01:28 PM
I want to try my luck again here if my new posts are worth some merit points. I already got 10 points because i didn't have many posts history and you split the amount. I hope that i can get the other part of points if i really deserve it.
343  Other / Meta / Re: Adding Merit was the most correct action against spam, let me explain why on: March 05, 2018, 10:57:47 PM
To be honest, Few numbers of spammers will not give up easily from the bitcointalk forum and joining signature campaigns, They usually find some shitty solution to rank up by abusing the merit system. We should focus more to find them and make some investigations, Merit system is a very great way to find alt accounts and scammers, In addition, you can see which one is posting shit posts and high quality posts by simply looking for his merit points.
I think you cannnot identify it by just looking at their merit, there are many jr.member up that post high quality and useful post but many of their post did not gain even 1 merit. Im not against merit, actually I like it, this system help me to learn here in a short period of time.  Smiley

344  Economy / Economics / Re: Germany recognized the bitcoin on: March 05, 2018, 07:20:29 PM
Germany is an advanced country. They understood the prospects of the BTС and are not afraid to introduce advanced technologies. I think to example of Germany will soon be followed by other countries.
I agree with you, Germany is a great country which it interssed about new technology around the world, So as you said, they surely understood the prospects of bitcoin and how much he is very important to make the country more richer. This step will be followed by other countries as you said, I think until now there aren't a lot of countries that legalize bitcoin to be used freely by people.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest way to gain 1% daily profit from trading? on: March 05, 2018, 07:13:12 PM
I think bitcoin is the king, so holding altcoins (even ethereum) is high-risk method right now, if bitcoin hits 25-30K many altcoins will drop 100% at latest, so trading is the safest way for me!

in your opinion what is the safest way to gain 1% daily profit from trading?
Thats the problem with cryptocurrency and trading them, you can't really control your profit because the market is so unpredictibale and it could change at any given moment so your profit is not always 100% sure from it and espacially daily profit, but the best thing you can do is invest in multiple altcoins that are very promising and are bound to go up, and probably you might be able to get some daily profit from them.
That's true, recently, it's too hard to predict the market movement. There is a hundred of crypto increase and decrease each day, but the most of them follow bitcoin movement. To make a good profit from trading you should have a good knowledge about many cryptocurrencies and always search about news. Investing in a lot of cryptocurrencies are good, but you should be careful when splitting your money, because there are some shitty coins, just pump one time and then drop until the coin disappears.
346  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 05, 2018, 07:01:51 PM
Of course, merit is very helpful in this forum. Because of the Merit, all of the members became careful and much constructive to what he/she want to comment. Merit gives more quality post from participants/members.
I agree, Merit system is an awesome way to improve the forums from shit posters. A lot of members, to not say all of them try hardly to improve their quality posts to get some merit points as it is required for ranking up. I think more than 60% of shitposters improve their posts due to the system, especially low ranks members. I think theymos choose the right system to improve this forum, he is very clever.

348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning stake fever., on: March 04, 2018, 04:46:05 PM
Although sometimes you lose in gambling but there are times you will fall on a winning stake. And as a gambler this is the most intense and thrilling part of the game. So guys tell us your excitement during this phase of your gambling experience..,
Three years ago, I made a bet in directbet.eu, which is a great gambling site accept different cryptocurrencies and I won around 2.7 BTC in parlay bet. This day, I didn't believe how much I won because I was young (Under 20 years), I kept around 50% of this money until now, and the other half I use it to gamble again and buying some stuffs from the internet, It's a wonderful day, I hope that I can win this amount again.
349  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: March 04, 2018, 04:32:55 PM
Nowadays cryptocurrencies are being used only for investment and fund raising purposes but i am sure that they are going to be an alternative to cash money soon. There will be a total of three options for shopping payments. cash, creditcards, cryptomoney...
That's true, This technology of paying using digital money it developed too much in the last few years, There is a lot of people use cryptocurrencies today for different purpose, one of them, is an investment. I think there is a high percent of people who use cryptocurrencies for investment, because they feel that bitcoin price will increase too much in the future, so they take the opportunity to buy more when bitcoin price drop.
350  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merits easily ? on: March 04, 2018, 04:10:09 PM
the postings that are relevant and useful for all member and makes it easy to get my merit, for it do so, even though it has yet to get the results, keep a good quality post and do not spam. Because SPAM will be detrimental to our own accounts and hard to get MERIT
This is a very good advice to people who want to get some merit points. The problem is people spam threads and they don't care about the quality of their posts, they think that if they posts too much, they have more chance to get some merit points, Or this is wrong. If anyone focus to make a great post, it will be better than shitty 10 posts, In addition, your chance to get merit of the only high quality post bigger than in 10 bad posts.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: please explain me on: March 04, 2018, 03:52:19 PM
Be careful, this is a purely scam, recently there is a lot of fishy mail sent to scam people, They sent everyday thousands of mails to scam everyone they found idiot to click and complete the procedure and they got scammed finally. So the point is to ignore any kind of these emails to be safe.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fee!!?? on: March 04, 2018, 03:44:56 PM
Its a great News that bitcoin has reduced the fees to half it will surely increase its demand and increase trading too and soon it will reach to moon .
I agree with you, Usually bitcoin's fees depend on how much unconfirmed transactions in the mempool. So if there is more unconfirmed bitcoin transaction, then the fees will be higher and vice versa. The recent drop of bitcoin price from 19k to less than 10k$ affect the number of unconfirmed transactions and then the price of bitcoin transaction fees, From now, I think bitcoin will increase in a few weeks later, in addition fees will increase a bit and it will be around 1-2$.
353  Other / Meta / Re: 17 Merits to give to Quality Posters on: March 04, 2018, 03:12:57 PM
It's a nice initiative to do for members, because there are a hundred of people each day posts good quality posts and they didn't get any single merit until now. All people, especially highly ranked ones, should help each other and read posts in different sections and merit only high quality posts which they found helpful or informative, I hope that the 2 winners here deserve this merit which you will give to them.
354  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: March 04, 2018, 03:03:45 PM
I strongly believe Merit system should only start once you become Sr. Member -> Hero -> Legendary
Let the system decide who reaches Sr. Member Activity + Post are fair enough criteria already.
Rules should be applied to all people, whatever the rank. So every member should gain merit to rank up, else he will stay in his current rank forever. I respect your suggestion, but I don't think that is fair for high rank members, (Sr member to legendary)

Now its purely in hands of other people if they let you progress or stay as Jr. Member forever.
If you post high quality posts and you deserve merit points, you will reach the next rank as soon as possible if you have enough activities.
355  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirement for Member Proposal on: March 02, 2018, 10:44:04 PM
I see many Jr. Members easily rank up to Member because the required Merits is only 10.

So did you think that getting 10 merit points is easy? People spend hours and hours to read carefully and build their knowledge related to the field of cryptocurrencies to be able to get some merit points when they post anything. That's right, that 10 points is too low compared to 150 for Full member or 250 for Sr member to rank up, but to get these points you should improve too much the quality posts including the ideas.
356  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merits easily ? on: March 02, 2018, 10:31:11 PM
The only best and legit way to earn some merit points to rank up is by only fully participating meaningfully on the thread through quality posts . Every other way which might seem simple and easy at first leads to the destruction of the forum as those other ways are against the forum rules.
I agree with you, there is not any other way to get some merit points except wrote high quality posts or to improve the forums by sharing useful information/ to help others etc. People will surely awards anyone posts any informative post which help anyone to solve some problems related to cryptocurrencies, the only thing to do first is to improve your English, because even if the content of the post is great and the writing is too bad, I don't think you will deserve a single point of merit.
357  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best exchange platform on: March 02, 2018, 10:11:13 PM
I was prefer poloniex  because was my best palform but when some one hack my acount and withdraw all my money i leave then i was go to bitrix but they also make new rules  about active acount so now  my question is what is best palform u can deposit ur money in it without scare  and  why ?
Please no link

I think that Poloniex is one of the best platform for trading, I already use it for a long time and I didn't have any problem with it until now, All things I did (Deposit & Withdraws) go successfully without any problems, the best thing about it is the quick transactions, low exchanging fees and the security on the site, I am a bit surprised that you are hacked, I bet that you didn't secure your account carefully.
358  Other / Meta / Re: Ranking System on: March 02, 2018, 09:40:55 PM
According to my Activity and posts my rank should be Full Member by now but it is still Member. I know that Merit system is also implemented now but it will make almost impossible for me and thousands like me to advance to next rank. I hope there will some options for me and many members like me.

The best way is to take back this merit system and simply democratize the forum another way is to start a poll where members can vote in favor or against this system and the results should be implemented.
Everyone will rank up. It will only take longer time and also not predictable any longer.

For you to rank up,  your activity and merit must rhyme. Activity is predictable but merit is not. We just have to find a way of earning merits because I don't think the system will be changed from what it is now.
That's true, Merit points will be awarded only for high quality posts, so even if you have a high potential (I mean a lot of activities) and all of them are shit posts, you will not be eligible to rank up. I bet that there are a lot of people posts everyday from the first day of the new system and they didn't get any single points of merit system because of the low quality posts.
359  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: March 02, 2018, 09:32:42 PM
I totally agree. merit not to be traded. this is one of the advantages of this forum, and it becomes a challenge for new users like me to keep improving posts. regards
That's true, this new system of merit points is very good for the forums, It's not for trade, Anyone who trades merit points should be punished by getting a negative trust or permabanned. Honestly, This is an awesome challenge for everyone to improve their quality posts. I am sure, that the forum will be cleaner after a few months, spammers and shit posters will quit the forum soon.
360  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 02, 2018, 09:23:15 PM
It is almost a month the new system of merit has been implement to the forum. What is your opinion? It is really working as it was expected? What is you opinion?
Honestly, yes, From the beginning I didn't think that the new system of merit will work as it was expected, but I was wrong, day by day, I saw that there is a hundred of high quality posts wrote every day in different sections, People they want to rank up, and the only thing to do is to improve the quality posts to get merit points to eligible to reach the next rank. It's a very smart move by theymos to improve the forum.
