341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: January 16, 2020, 05:33:31 AM
I found this quality topic on twitter and it all caught my attention. I have seen that fiat is the currency of the Government and Bitcoin is the currency of the people, Can the Government Crash? if so the people cannot Crash neither, because so many people are not making good business from the fiat than in bitcoin, which have provided so much job opportunities for users who are online. Fiat will be replaced soon by bitcoin.

Share your thoughts

A lot of people speculating that cryptocurrencies will eventually replace Fiat but I think not because first of all government who is the one handled the monetary system. It will be hard for government to monitor this kind of currency so there's a high for them to not accept this technology or simply ban this on their country. Probably, they will use it as an alternative monetary system for the country.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 15, 2020, 04:26:51 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
Well, if I were you I would also sell some of my altcoins but not everything I will only sell those altcoins that I got from ICOs before and left only the top performing coins. I don't think that altcoins will be left out, the fact that some of likely to be affiliated with Bitcoin as what I have observed, I mean as Bitcoin pump alts will also do the same.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: January 15, 2020, 03:53:22 PM
What you think more profit, participate in IEO or wait after IEO and buy the token from exchanges?
I guess just like what bounty hunters commonly do in ICOs back in the days where they used to participate at the beginning of the project and wait till it gets listed on exchanges, however, some projects failed to enlist their token. But now I think it will now be better for IEO since the projects are already been partnered with exchanges. Hence, with regard to your question, I would go for participating in IEO at the beginning of their crowd sale.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When trading, never ignore the statoshi value of your coins on: January 15, 2020, 03:19:10 PM
If you concentrate too much on the future value of every Satoshi, then you will never sell any of your coins and you will become a full time hoarder. Yes, the few Satoshi lost with every trade would accumulate over time and the price will also increase and it would look like you lost large amounts of value in US Dollar or Fiat terms, but those profits was never guaranteed.

You can make a lot more money now, buy buying and selling and trading and ignoring the few Satoshi that you are spending doing it ...than what you might have lost if the price tanked.  Wink

Managing the risk in your Portfolio is part of the fun and taking the profits now whilst the iron is hot, is also a better strategy.  Tongue
Exactly. Any amount whether it is satoshi it still matters. Imagine that in every transaction you have made you always left a small amount of satoshi and if you accumulate them ever since the first transaction you've made this might become a reasonable profit if the market skyrocket. If Bitcoins value became more enormous the value of satoshi will increase as well that is why learn to appreciate it even if it has a small amount.
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 15, 2020, 02:37:07 PM
Actually I am looking at the market right now and I love seeing that most of the coins are now pumping, I am not sure if this is the beginning of the bullish trend or just a trap. As a matter of fact, the crypto market is up by 5% within 24 hours and I hope this will continue because most of us are longing for bull market. I am having a thought that this is caused by the nearby halving what do you think?
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 14, 2020, 04:33:21 PM
There are a lot of indicators that we can look for a project to ensure the success of project, from team members, project itself, whitepaper, roadmap etc. but still we can only identify if the project will run or not until the end of sale even with a working project before raising funds is still not an assurance for success. So with the title of this thread, Bounty and ICO/IEO or whatever it is, it is still a trial and error.
Very well said. Even if we conduct some research on the project we are going to engage in it is still a gamble. We cannot fully tell if the project is capable to finish the crowd sale within the given time frame or they will able to reach their target cap. I've seen a lot of projects had a good start, have a good team, whitepaper and more but for some reason, some of them are still failed. Moreover, even if they successfully finish the next problem will be to enlist their token on exchanges which commonly takes a lot of time. Hence, I do believe that bounty campaigns are definitely a trial and error.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 14, 2020, 03:52:04 PM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins
Indeed, I think there's nothing wrong with some Altcoins, I know that most of them are crap but there are still good ones that are capable of giving a profit. Altcoins are just like Bitcoin if it falls and so for altcoins, the only thing altcoins doesn't good right now is because we are still in a bear market but I am pretty sure that as bullish trend comes it everything will be good, whether it is Bitcoin or Altcoins. I think it is just a matter of what altcoins are you going to use, I will recommend to choose among the top-ranked altcoins.
348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency VS Forex on: January 14, 2020, 02:56:23 PM
Lately I had read news on how cryptos market being manipulated by the "whales" of course this would have impact on traders due to high volatility thus defies technical analysis resulting to losses meanwhile forex trading has a stable volatility and most in cases in line with both technical and fundamental analysis.
Don’t rely too much on TA when trading cryptocurrency because its too volatile and simple news and manipulations the price can go up and down. I tried forex trading its also volatile and I know it is being manipulated too its just that forex are more safe compare to cryptocurrency. Technical analysis still works, but not always in cryptomarket.

crypto is too volatile and its hard to predict it , thats why people look for guides such as t.a to help them predict the price in a smart way   .

forex is not also volatile but its stable , thats why you said its safer than crypto   .  like predictions  , t.a can sometimes failed so we must not fully depend on it all the time  .
Crypto is indeed volatile compared to Forex and more stable thus everyone chooses to invest in forex. Crypto is riskier than forex but that what I like about crypto because the more the riskier it is the more profit you'll get. If you prefer to invest in the safest way then probably forex trading is much better for you but if you want more profit then go for Crypto trading. Crypto trading, however, requires a lot of knowledge and experience in order to survive in this kind of market due to the fact that the market is unpredictable and full of surprises, unlike forex.
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dont let them fool you. We will see a NEW BOTTOM. $5000 per BTC soon. on: January 14, 2020, 12:36:17 PM
Let's make sure we don't fall in trap again so we need to have a fixed target in mind for buying as well as cashing out, don't just get carried away by FOMO as 2017 and 2018 should be a learning curve for us. I don't think bitcoin will hit a new bottom value but again it might go back to $6k. Better to say active and not to invest right now as it might  prove fatal but we could invest if we see a further dump before halving.

I agree with you we should not be tempted by the current increase in bitcoin. because there is a possibility that bitcoin will be a big dump before it is reduced by half. but in my opinion it won't fall until the price of $ 3,400 is too low. in my opinion the lowest point of bitcoin when it falls is $ 5k. so we must still have a target to sell and buy. and don't expect too much for bitcoin increase.
Yeah, I also do think that Bitcoin won't fall into that amount and it is really low. I expect that there will only have a slight dip probably around $6-5 but I don't think it will drop at the bottom. Actually, we could purchase now and wait til halving because everyone is speculating that Bitcoin will skyrocket after it reduced by half.
350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are giving too much attention on the halving on: January 14, 2020, 11:21:14 AM
To my opinion people are expecting too much of halving, some huge price rise, and yes, we are paying too much attention to it.
It's not very likely that halving will bring us big and continuous price rise so many might end up disappointed. Halvimg will not have so big impact.
People tend to expect too much upon this coming Bitcoin halving simply because we already have seen how big impact happended in crypto world a year ago. Everybody expect that there bull trend will enter the market after the halving. This event will caught a lot of attention indeed simply because it's only occur every 4 year yet it does bring positive impact in the market.
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 67,1% of micro businesses do not know what cryptocurrencies are. on: January 13, 2020, 04:44:41 PM
One of the reasons most people don't know about crypto is the lack of crypto education. Most people who know about crypto are because they do research about this technology. We as crypto users should be responsible for spreading education and the benefits of using crypto. Starting from the closest people around us.
Exactly, people are unaware with this cryptocurrencies because it is not being publicize. The people who only know about this technology are the one who scanned it online and the people where they introduce it upon. Besides, I just barely seen a media talks about cryptocurrencies and even if they did it is always been tell in bad way just like in my country where it is been introduced because of someone scheme. That is why I envy those countries who shows their full support upon using this kind of advanced monetary and hoping for our government to will acknowledge this sooner.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 13, 2020, 03:47:11 PM
I think there is no such a game where the pure luck is only the matter, we still need gambling skill and strategy in every types of game in order for us to have high chance of winning. If we will just playing and we are basing our decisions in pure luck then it will lead to huge losses. I want to say that knowledge and skills are also important because we are the only one who can create our own luck.
Of course luck alone is not enough to drive us to victory. We also need to do something, gain experience, aquire more skills and have strategies. I cannot remove the fact that gambling is all about luck but we shouldn't not only rely on it because those skills you have the experiences you have will help you to increase your chance of winning.
353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read trading charts? on: January 13, 2020, 02:47:04 PM
Have a nice day!  I know that most of here are all traders if you don't mind can i ask a little questions here because i am curious about trading. How did you do that? How do you read charts because i am still exploring and i don't know how read a charts anybody can help me with this? What is the best way to learn reading charts in an easiest way.
It's quite simple. The first thing is that you need to look at the large time frame then you will look at the charts with small time frame. Normally, you should look at the chart 1 week ago, then you can easily identify the trend of the coin you are wondering. After that, you will find good points to open order. 1D and 4H time frames are beautiful time frames for you to make open orders. Those are the most basic things that you should know when looking at a chart.
Well, I think it depends on what kind of trade you are doing just like for an example if you are unto with long-term trading then probably you set your time frame in week or month. While in day trade hourly time or minute time frame would be perfectly fit. Choosing a time frame will varies on what type of trading you are in. And yeah I think it is much better if you will look first at the largest time frame up to small ones so you could create an analysis on the the coin you are going to trade.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 13, 2020, 11:27:01 AM
As I saw last days bitcoin pumps after Iran declared the war against the United States, On my observation its because some people on the middle east sold they commodities, some stocks and bought cryptocurrency to keep carefully their assets. Do you think guys war was favor on the entire crypto investors? You can share your thought now.
Bitcoin do pumps a little and I think the reason is because of the tension between Iran and United States. Based on what I have read people think cryptocurrencies as safe haven, where they used it to store value. War do really have a good impact in cryptocurrencies I think but I do not want the value of cryptocurrencies to rise because of the war, I want to saw the market in bullish trend that not causes by any war.
355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 12, 2020, 02:51:41 PM
One of the biggest cons of full time trading is being alone , boring sitting in front of computer watching charts data all the time from past 6 moths i am almost doing this and now because of this i am not able to focus on trades. i feel like quieting full time trading and go to job so i make some new friends and Socialness

what you guys do to avoid this biggest cons on full time trading
Well, I think you don't need to face in front of your computer all the time, yeah as a trader you need to monitor the market all the time but that doesn't mean you will have no time for your self. One of the solution I can think of is to manage your time, plan your time don't just sit and monitor your screen. In addition, if you have felt boredom in doing such thing then probably that wasn't your passion so maybe full time trade wasn't thing for you much better if you will use trading as alternative way of getting profit.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin now Pump and Dump? on: January 12, 2020, 01:26:40 PM
It all comes with that way, nothing had sure that we will be experiencing a pump only. May halving is one factor that could help to make a change in market direction but to expect that it will go like that till we end up this year is certainly be a miracle.
We know how volatility means a lot and that is why we can't see prices become stable.

The market is quite boring, it seems that this year there will be a bullish and halving factor which has a high hype will occur this year, as well as the world war 3 that might make bitcoin an alternative asset. so in my opinion so many factors this year that will make the price of bitcoin increase.
world war made people alert and they are saving all their money into some kind of investment. Now a day best investment is now bitcoin  it is good and safe. I hope this high investment will make the market bullish and will put good effect in crypto world. Pump and dump is so common in bitcoin history as it’s most volatile crypto coin.
Well, you have a point besides, I've read some articles that as tension grows between US and Iran Bitcoin is up by 10%. This only imply that tension have impact in the market. In addition, investors think that Bitcoin as safe haven because they believes that cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin is one of the best hedge against risk aggravation.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the future ?? on: January 12, 2020, 11:29:02 AM
This year; ieo unfolded.

It was supposed to surpass ico and be a better crowdfunding method; but it has gone cold faster than ico did.

If you compare Your experiences too; between altcoin and bitcoin; you would notice that

1. Altcoins are so many; that they replace one another.
If an old altcoin dies
New altcoins will replace them and old one will be forgotten... It goes on and on

2. Bitcoin has maintained its class and importance;

Is it that bitcoin is the only hope for the future ??
IEOs didn't get too much attention indeed unlike ICOs who really became a trend and I think probably because IEOs uprises at the bearish market or perhaps, investors lost their trust to invest in this kind of project. Getting back to the question, I think not only Bitcoin will be the hope for the future since there are several altcoins can perform well as Bitcoin such as ETH and more. However, we can't deny the fact that the power of Bitcoin could lead other cryptocurrencies into the future.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 11, 2020, 03:54:09 PM
Will 2020 be the year Ethereum asserts it's dominance in the Altcoin space or are one of the contenders poised to take the Altcoin crown?
We can't deny the fact that Ethereum is indeed always at the back of Bitcoin due to the reason that it has the one of the largest volume in crypto market. However, we cannot predict the crypto market we might saw another alts that can compete with these top ranked coins. There's a lot of altcoins striving to become way more better to Bitcoin such as XRP, BNB, and more but as of now I think ETH place above of hundred altcoins.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will YouTube launch it's own cryptocurrency. on: January 10, 2020, 04:39:04 PM
There is a question in my mind that alarming in my mind for few days. I am a new member here but in replies the senior and hero members that knows cryptocurrency news at very large amount. Will YouTube or Google launch it's own cryptocurrency?
I am hearing for few days that the Facebook launched libra coin. Is this news is real.
I want to more work at bitcointalk but i confused for it's hard amount of rules.
Anyone help me that what topic that I select for making topics and learn crypto knowledge by reading posts and I will be able to become a senior member.
As far as I know I never heard any news that those two companies would create their own cryptocurrencies just like Facebook did. As a matter of fact, those Google used to banned those crypto ads due to the reason that it could potentially harm the users and so did for YouTube. However, there might be a chance for them to create their own if crypto would be legally use across the world.
360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice Increase in Price but What Next?? on: January 10, 2020, 04:09:16 PM
What next is obviously a dump and it's already happening. People should expect after a price pump there's always a price correction that will going to follow and we are almost getting back to the normal price range of $7,000 from before. That was the best time to make a profit if some of you are doing a scalping.
This is the best time for scalp trading indeed, the fact that there's a lot of ups and down happening in Bitcoin right now. But these pumps we are now experiencing is not good enough for folks who used to long term investment so I guess it is better if we will wait after the halving. I think the Bitcoin's price will only play around $6-10k until the we enter the halving.
