341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting ready to buy! on: July 18, 2019, 04:27:41 PM
What do you guys think? Bitcoin at 9400$ right know

As of now,  Btc is 100$ down more.
Moreover as BTC Is down, so i can say that it's the right time to buy the coin.
The price will soon again increase and i am sure this time it grow huge.
The thing that will increase the price of the coin is high trading volume.
Hope BTC will break it's all time record of 20k usd soon.
Good luck to us.
Bitcoin has made a highly recover this afternoon and it currently trading around $10,607. I hope you were able to buy then at $9350. I have study this market for long term and when you see people talking about dumping that is when to buy and when you here pumping that is when to sell.
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: what is the prediction BTC as per now on: July 18, 2019, 12:35:04 PM
I think that at the end of the year Bitcoin will cost about $ 15,000-17,000.  If and will continue to move with such speed.  I am very much in it.
Bitcoin might go above $17,000 to $15,000 you are saying! Before October no matter what happens bitcoin is going to go over $20,000 and still be going up in 2020. Buying bitcoin now is the best way to become rich in 5 to 10 years to come. Many new investors and professionals traders are adopting bitcoin daily as a mode of investment and trading, therefore, we should expect bitcoin to keep growing.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hope for the best, Expect the worst on: July 18, 2019, 09:47:49 AM
So BTC is down 30% from the last high, how far can we go ?

On the weekly chart below, i use only the 5 SMA (blue) and 20 SMA ( Orange )

Using the BLX chart, you can see that from 2010 all the way to 2018, every time we had a weekly close below the 5 SMA we simply drop all the way to the 20 SMA.

in the above theory there is good news and bad news.

which one do you want to read first?

I personally like the bad news first

The bad news :

The 20 SMA is hanging around 7200$ but by the time we get there, it should be at 7500-8000 , so there is a good chance we would see number 7 again.

The good news:

The 20 SMA on the weekly is very very strong, based on previous price behavior near the 20 SMA on the weekly, more than 90% of the time this SMA was strong enough to keep price above it during bull market and below it during bear market, so it's safe to assume that we are officially in a bull market and this merely a major correction.

My plan is to slowly buy btc from current price all the to sub 7k , and start selling at around 13600$ , even though I expect the next leg up to hit `16k , but that won't be this month, highly unlikely next month either as I do expect a few weeks of consolidation near the 20 SMA.

***The importance of the 20SMA on the weekly came to my attention from a video I watched on Youtube a long time ago, and I have been watching this SMA for a long time, I would like to give credit to whoever made the video whom I sadly can't remember.

I believe in the analysis you have made and it is very clear that bitcoin will still go below $9000 or maybe to the support level of around $7500 as is been speculated. Most of the cryptocurrency analyst is saying the same thing as I have read on Twitter and cryptocurrency sites' news. The hope we have in this is that bitcoin will take off from the 20ma on the weekly chart or 200ma on the daily chart.
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc $300 on: July 18, 2019, 08:34:24 AM
Could Bitcoin's price return to $300 again this year?

It could go to 0 or to 100,000,000+++++++

With how the US goverment is playing its cards it is more likely to become worth nothing than something in the future, for they will not allow it.

But who the fuck cares

what is 300 x 0 ?
what is 3,000 x 0 ?
what is 30,000,000 x 0?

0

Fiat price does not matter, it`s a $cam and not only a $cam it is $lavery to pay people it for you give them nothing in exchange for their limited time/work/goods and services.

1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin and in the future it will be worth time.

SPOILER: USD IS A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, SO WHEN YOU TRADE ON BINANCE YOU ACTUALLY ARE USING TWO FINANCIAL INSTITUTION`S AND VOIDING THE P2P ASPECT WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT OF BITCOIN, PISSING ALL OVER SATOSHI`S GRAVE
Few of us understand bitcoin in this way and majority value bitcoin base on it dollars values. I think people has really changed that p2p idea the founder has to investments tools or business. We now buy bitcoin in other to make profits and not for transactions purpose. It is sad that it has to be in this way but we still have very little to do on this.
345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this the Donald Pump we've been waiting for? on: July 18, 2019, 07:24:24 AM
Trump is a good businessman! He knows what he's doing!

I think both of those statements are demonstrably false.

Well I don't think so. For a businessman, yeah he is but for the latter, that's quite arguable because you may not actually know the intents of people.
To the OP, yeah we're not supposed to be shaken by his negative sentiments. Actually, Crypto has already seen worse from these "people" so I don't really give them much of my attention. I focus on how to make it in the cryptospace other than worrying about when it'll die.
people are allowed to express their mind concerning issues that relate to world finance and the policy that affect money. The President comments were not expected in that way since many of us believe that Trump is a businessman and he may support any technological advancements like bitcoin or blockchain! Since he has made the comment bitcoin has been going down and we expect that to happen. However, he will not be able to control bitcoin in the long run and the market is going to bance back.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins daily.. How do they do it? on: July 17, 2019, 08:22:21 PM
If you go to www.coinmarketcap.com/new/ , you will see that there are new coins added EVERYDAY..
and they have a decent market cap worth 1000's of dollars..
How do people just make there own coins that easy? and how are they raising so much money??
i mean like, whats stopping a normal person like me, doing the same thing.. just making a random coin and making thousands of dollars??
this is so stupid.. what is the need for all these useless coins?? when is it gonna stop?

The cryptocurrency market is one of the market that attracts a lot of investors now and that is why you are seeing those coins raise money. People are used to traditional investments platform like commodity and stocks and since altcoins is almost equivalent to that people see it as flipping. A lot of millions are been raise through ico and ieo market and people are seriously make used of these two channels to get money for their projects.
347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump did a big service to the Blockchain community! on: July 17, 2019, 07:41:20 PM
While many of the folks here are targeting Trump for putting out his negative stance about the Blockchain initiative and Bitcoins, I wholeheartedly appreciate his move. It might have led to a sudden decrease in the price but it will give a major boost to the global adoption of BTC that we are aiming for. The US presidents tweets are read and covered around the globe and there was quite a lot of media coverage given to the Blockchain and cryptocurrency community. Also, the entire Libra episode is also playing out, giving much more limelight to this space. While the reports and coverage are largely negative and critical but I believe that in due time people will start reading about it and will soon realize the benefits of a decentralized network. Negative press is better than no press.
In the long run, the blockchain community is going to see the positive effects of the number one citizen of the world spoke about bitcoin. Though many of us are not happy about his comments I think it is a good thing we should know that this is the first time someone with that type of personality speaks about bitcoin and to me it makes adoptions easier than we think and it is good we appreciate him more than criticizing him.
348  Other / Off-topic / Re: LIFE WITHOUT REGRETS on: July 17, 2019, 07:16:54 PM
Hello everyone,,
I wonder if we can live without regrets as humans. Life is a struggle but not a race is a popular saying of my bosom friend since childhood. Am less than 30 years of age but anytime I try to look back and think about my past life, I worry about some past mistakes and regrets in my life. Sometimes I wonder if I could have corrected those mistakes if I had seek counsel from others.

You should free yourself from your past as this is the only way you can be happy. Live is not a struggle nor a race and it is the vanity of our mind that makes it be like that. We just need to be happy and every other thing will fall into places. Leave the past and the future and started living in the present and you will see that now is the reality and you passed is an event and the future is from your imaginations.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 17, 2019, 06:37:50 PM
Don't get too serious about earning money in gambling. The risk is higher than investing just playing as usual while entertaining yourself.

I agree with this. We should consider gambling as a fun part of our life, and we can come back to play many times if we want. As long as we know how to treat gambling and we don't think that in the gambling, we cannot do hard work like what we did in real life, we can enjoy to playing gambling. The hard work in gambling will not count if you only want to enjoy the game because you will see that if you work in real life, that is the real hard work for you.

Doing hard work in gambling means, we use most of our time just for gambling stuffs and things, which isn't good for our financial situations. Yes, instead of making gambling as our main source of income, it would be better to treat it as a fun thing only, which we can achieve by doing it with just the spare money.

I think main problem even if you spend all the time gambling you can not predict your income, or mabe even losses. You can get really hard time on few unlucky bids
It is not how hard one work that make him or her to win in gambling. I believe also that is how lucky you are that make you win. Gambling is a game of chance and you have to be extremely luck to win as the odd is not always in your. favour. I have met some lazy fellow that has won in gambling before.
350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: July 17, 2019, 04:43:05 PM
That is my struggle whenever I gamble, I always lost track and I can not manage my greediness, my eagerness to get back what I have lose. This tips may help gambler like me who are actually lack on self control. Knowing when to stop is really important especially when you reach your target profit.

Greediness is a sin as they say.  If you are not easily contented on what you have and crave for more you will just lose it in the end if you don't control your emotion. One way to control yourself when gambling is think the worst case scenario if you continue gambling even if you already reached your target profit or loss too much money.
Most people do have their entire gambling capital wipeout during gambling because of this disease call greed. We should not allow much winning affect our emotions to gamble more and the only way to do that is through having a gambling plan that you know that is worthwhile.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: July 17, 2019, 12:46:50 PM
However, most players simple don't know when to call it quits, or resort to strategies that will not work in the long run, such as martingale.

Martingale is a killer, it kills your bankroll, I should know that as I've experience getting busted int he past.

If you're in profit now, take your money and be happy. Otherwise, be careful and don't bet more than you're willing to lose.

That's very important, with discipline you can do enjoy your profit, no one wins if they don't know how to stop as we can never make the casino bankrupt, they have a lot of money to lure us, so let's be wise and enjoy our profit as we don't win all the time.
That is just the truth. Be happy and enjoy when you win and also considered when you also makes loss because that is the only way to remain positive in casino or betting. Many players are good winners but very bad and extreme losers and that is why is good you should be used to winning and losing. The houses are extremely rich and they have the funds to spend on their gambling sites and advert and that makes it very hard for them to lose money.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: July 17, 2019, 08:37:15 AM
I voted

Affiliate / Referral (not betting... but betting-related)
because it's risk-free and you just need time and places where you can, post your referral link, who knows you can be earning a lot if you happen to recruit whales who bet a lot in gambling.
This is better than going into gambling fully! You can actually refer people to casino, dice sites and another form of gambling and make money on their deposit instead of risk your own capital that you know are going to lose except you are very lucky. I have tried much gambling strategies and almost all of them do lose money in the long run and putting your hard-earned money in any recommended gamble's strategy is not the right thing to do.
353  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Best Twitter Responses To Trump’s Btc Tweets on: July 17, 2019, 08:15:17 AM
This is fantastically good respond and the reply to the tweet by most of the crypto enthusiast is epics and sound more intelligent than any of the comments made against bitcoin so far. This has really made my day and affirmation to me to keep holding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Please stop betting with 1xBET scam! You have been warned. on: July 17, 2019, 07:55:41 AM
I have read horrible story about this casino here : https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbooks-industry/3368530-1xbet-blocked-my-account-1742-a.html
But I have also read this casino has endorsements deals with Chelsea Liverpool and Barca :  https://sponsorpitch.com/sponsors/1xbet
So I would think this is a safe casino to gamble with if these teams are endorsing them.
Thank you and other guys that are digging more information out on this casino sites and I hope we are taking advice on this because it is painful that after we are warned like this you see people coming here again and open thread about how they were scam by the same casino site.
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will there be physical casinos operating with cryptos in the future? on: July 16, 2019, 08:37:37 PM
My thoughts here, I wonder if in the future, physical casinos will use cryptos

I know casinos use coins to spend inside and them people can exchange these coins to fiat money again

But maybe a casino can use cryptos inside, you buy a card with BTC or LTC for example, and you can play with this card

Have you ever think about his? What is you opinion guys?
I have think several time about casino using bitcoin or ethereum to purchase cards for playing but for now this is not feasible. The crypto coins are still developing and many people did not know how important this technology are to our gambling and financial system and I believe that in future we are going to use bitcoin for different sectors of our economy.
356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The End of Bear Market, Confirmed!! on: July 16, 2019, 08:24:33 PM
to be honest until now I myself am still worried if this market falls deeper again. I have enjoyed the pump from Bitcoin and suddenly the market seems to have been hit by a landslide, and that makes me panic.
I am a trader and almost all the technical indicators are showing sign of bearish trend at the moment. In this market, the only way to last is to accept reality and that reality is following the trend. People are selling out of panic because of the experience they have before. Those that were unable to sell bitcoin in December 2017 are still regretting their decision and many are not ready for that again!
357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Local bitcoin trading site doing KYC NOW on: July 16, 2019, 07:56:33 PM
From what we are seeing happening now every exchange especially the local one are developing terms and conditions that will allow them to do business under the government laws. I also believe that KYC is one of the ways to prevent scamming, evil people from using the exchange and comply with the government's agencies.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play poker to train trading on: July 16, 2019, 07:08:53 PM
It is a good idea to play poker to improve your skills.I think that trading is a lot like gambling and the only difference is trading has better publicity compared to gambling.
Aside from publicity the advantage of trading is we can have use skills specifically and just small luck while in gambling what we need is more luck than skills
Quote
While gambling is considered bad by most of the community trading is considered neutral. However you should be careful as both in gambling or trading you risk to become addicted.
Well gambling turns bad if you treat in bad ways, but if you know how to handle gambling you’ll find it enjoyable and fo fun actually
That has been my views too! In gambling what we should be concerned of is luck because you don't need any skills to win but in trading, you actually need skills that is how to interpret the market both technical and fundamental and make informed investment decisions. Never compare the two except in the area of risk and reward.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling tokens/low market cap coins for Bitcoin? on: July 16, 2019, 07:56:57 AM
Man, some altcoins will never rise again and sometimes it is better to convert this dust to btc.
Bitcoin is liquid, you can hold it or sell for fiat in Indacoin or trade on bitmex, no matter what you are going to do, bitcoin is bitcoin
Bitcoin is performing more than any other coins in the market. It is better to sell all the tokens that you know are not doing well now than holding them and at the end, you will not get anything from those coins because some of them will never recover again. Some tokens are dying and many projects have been abandon by the developers and you should convert those coins to bitcoin.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: July 16, 2019, 07:36:46 AM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
It is good if you can trade through Linux. Except in unnecessary delay in payments that I do get disappointed. I prefer using the exchange like remetano or localbitcoin than exchanges that charges extremely high for withdrawal and transactions fees. The exchanges especially the centralized one are not helping matter with the high charges they are charges but I believe that time is coming when some exchange will be out of business because of charges.
