I am totally disagree with you, trading can't provide a constant profit because with the analyses it depends in infinitely of factors. While gambling depends only in some statistics and some lucky predictions! But i disagree with you, because if you are trader then of course you know that in trading we get profit on constantly or not constantly but sure we get profit from trading. Secondly, if you are doing both gambling and trading then sure you could realize where you get more and constantly profit. In trading it is chance more than gambling. I think it always depends because a gambler skills differs in trading and if you can earn much in gambling or trading is depends on your skills.
