Which is happening, especially with branded accounts which are representing a company, basically employees are using it, rather than a central figure. However, I guess that could be argued to be different, since its representing the brand, and not the person behind the account. I may have this wrong but I see absolutely no problem with a branded account being used by multiple people. If for example the Cloudbet account was initially being used by their representative before another called "Ronnie" took over duties and later another employee is using it, that is not forwned upon and rightfully so. Really though, I don't think too many users here are sharing their account with someone else, seems like you wouldn't gain much, other than potential privacy by reducing stylometry. Other than that, I would think the cons outweigh the pros. There might be some cases where multiple users are using the same (non-branded) account and it make sense for them to do so according to their own specific set of circumstances. I think most members here would automatically connect multiple users operating a single non-branded account with nefarious purposes but it is not always the case.

There were so many users that did not want to give KYC to Grant Thornton therefore their funds will never be returned to them. Having said that they would prefer if those funds were recovered to be distributed between the victims but there are no assurances anything like that will ever happen. Does anybody know approximately how much of the recovered funds have been taken by Grant Thornton as payments for their services and to cover their expenses while they investigate? Yes, it seems to me that this will continue for a very long period, users waiting for the return of their crypto assets have nothing left but to go through all the stages step by step and formally until the moment of the agreement, it may take forever, but the reports of the liquidators look beautiful, in five months it will be four years since the hack of the exchange.

Manchester City will probably win the league as Arsenal fade away but will Liverpool start winning game to close the gap? I think it will be a more balanced competition this season and we are already seeing it unfold: - Brighton travelled to Manchester United and then to West Ham to win both games
- Leeds beat Chelsea comprehensively with a 3-0 win
- Arsenal are sitting on top of the table with three wins from their three games
- Manchester City draw 3-3 away at Newcastle United
- Liverpool remain without a win from their two games
Here is the Premier League table as it currently stands: This start to the season has been quite strange in the Premier League.
So Chelsea lose 3-0 to Leeds? A result that many were not expecting, for sure. And Newcastle managed to draw 3 goals with Man City. It's not that it's such a surprising result, but more was expected from Man City.
Will we have a more balanced competition this season?

Thank you for clearing up the issue. It means if these types of links are available and can be posted then maybe what is happening with the Youtube algorithm is related to the keyword "bitcointalk" otherwise how is it possible Kucoin and Blockchain links are not removed? I am sure I have seen Youtube links left in the comments section referencing to a different URL but I cannot recall seeing external URLs.
Yes, it's still possible. I checked crypto related vids on youtube and i can only seen external URLs in the comment are those exchange related like this two. I tried to search bitcointalk related vids and checked every comments made but unfortunately there is no bitcointalk URL posted even those old YT vids like 4-6 yrs ago. Maybe bitcointalk is labeled as suspicious or whatever it is just like what wikipedia describes this forum.

If the price is fixed to Bitcoin and not to fiat then it changes the equation a little bit but there will always be volatility in crypto and you are right these things matter to those using crypto or newbies that are considering using crypto. I think the OP was interested in knowing about using it as a method of payment rather than use it as a tool for holding or investing. Having volatility issues is one thing that doubt others to use bitcoin as a payment method because it’s price keeps on changing and is never fixed. And to think that bitcoin is much better when used as an investment rather than spending it like fiat, then it’s not surprising that most traders would want to hold and trade it later since they will surely benefit huge profits from it.

Hi, Folks, I guess I got scammed too? I am sorry to read about what happened to you. It has been said many times and should be reiterated here, you really have to carry out due-dilligence whenever sending funds to any website (exchange, mixer, online shop, etc) because they might be using their services as a front in order to scam others. You should have tried Wasabi WalletI would not trust any bitcoin mixer site other than chipmixer which i know because it has a good reputation of this forum. 3rd party review sites are hard to trust as they sometimes give good reviews to a bad project by taking bribe. Its our money, so we should not deposit in any site unless we are 100% sure of its authenticity. Chipmixer might have a reputation for being reputable but if their website was down from 6th-10th August this year without them even making an announcement to reassure their users, then I think that was a public relations failure on their part. Making a post 4-5 days after their website was offline to say they were back up and running probably would not exactly give confidence to all their users and I would advise those thinking of using Chipmixer to consider alternatives.

Now I understand why you always seemed to comment on the scam allegation here with much surety and confidence. As you are an Italian resident that knows various aspects of law, what is the best advice you would give to both the OP and Rock Trading to settle this issue as soon as possible? I live in Italy (Toscana and Sicily) and Malta since I was in the 4th grade (more than 12 years) and I have my master degree in economist which is more like an accountant.
Now I do only AML on crypto basis and situations like the OP's, you find at any corner.

If those people had carried out due-diligence beforehand they probably would have found many links related to " 1xbit or 1xbit1.com = scam" and they could have avoided becoming victims in the first place. Maybe when they stumble across the 1xbit1.com website they see various offers and sign up deals therefore they can get distracted and fall victim. It is unfortunate that many victims only find this forum after they realise they have been scammed. That's because many people don't know that this forum exists or don't know that on a bitcoin forum there's a section dedicated to gambling. When people feel the need to gamble they google "online casino". When they have cryptocurrencies they google crypto casino or the name of the coin that they have +casino. They don't google that with "reviews". Why? Because they act on an impulse. Sometimes they're drunk, sometimes they're down and feel like a win could make them fill better. They don't think that such casino could be a scam and take their money saying they broke TOS. When their money is gone they have more time to look for help because they aren't able to play anyway.

What sort of emails do you receive from Bybit, are they just standard newsletter updates and how often do you receive them? Why did you decide to open an account with them and not say for example Binance or any other exchange? Did you collect your free gift, if you did what was it?
No Bybit exchange isn't as generous as Binance, they only send advertising e-mail's (we added a new futures contract)

I think there is much more to the OP than seems Regarding the rules, the OP really should have taken some time out to understand the etiquettes as well as general posting rules. If he had done that he would most probably not find himself in the situation he currently is in. Are the rules strict? Heh. And what did you want? At first, you did not open your personal account. And they used someone else. After that, you wrote word for word a welcome post, with your admission that this is not your account in two topics. This was written both on the topic of bitcoins and of altcoins. I reported a duplicate post. Nothing more. Nobody tried to bite you, girl. You came to the forum, but he did not come to you, so you should read the simple rules, no more.

Thank you for the comments. How are you familiar with Italian law to the degree you post very confidently about the subject? Can you post any links that can be read (even with translation) that can be provided as references for what you said? And @jollygood ; it is impossible not to recover the money from an exchange in Italy in more than 6 months, which leads me to consider that Coinfan also is doing something illegal; even tho, the attitude of the rock trading is more than shady.

However they can just "confuse" people by sending email with such strange url domain. People can make errors and maybe trust the wrong message It would useful if they will add some sensitive information (like Name or Surname) of account owner or/and clear instructions to login directly in OFFICIAL URL! without using these secondary urls... there are pixels that can track emails, I don't think they need even special URLs.... Well if the email sender is using a different domain or suspicious looking subdomain then it raises questions About pixels and tracking, this technique is used widely by businesses but many people are not even aware such a tracking mechanism even exists. The amount of data being generated then sent to the tracker whenever the email is opened must be important to them otherwise they would not bother. Yes, I seriously ask him! I also receive letters from the Bybit exchange and that also uses a third -party domain to track and they don't even include HTTPS, use HTTP to track. Why is he afraid to receive this gift, because the letter came from the official Binance domain. It can't be faked in any way means all the links that they sent can't be malicious Did you collect your free gift, if you did what was it?

If Joshua managed to have beaten Usyk in the rematch he could have entered the ring to meet Fury in an all British unification fight that would have brought in unbelievable wealth for him but instead it is Usyk that will receive the fee. You are right upsets can happen in sport but Fury will need to mess up badly in order for Usyk to win and I just do not see it happening. I think Fury will go in to the ring with the intention it will be his swansong therefore he will be confident and he will win. if they will indeed see huge payout for this match, their promoters will schedule this as soon as possible. remember, many times money matters when it comes to these respective promoters. and of course the purse split among their boxers. voted for fury here as well. and based from the poll, users here are rooting for fury. but we can never be sure as upsets in boxing always happen.

As far as I know, when adding a chrome extension in most if not all cases you are effectively giving permission several things you would normally never even consider doing such as (depending on what extension you install and for what purpose) allowing access to your data for all the browsing you have done and to read and modify your privacy settings as well as control your browser proxy settings.
When adding any extension you really have to be very careful because you have no idea if it is a front for a fake service created in order to access/steal your data.

What happened:: I have received an email which title is "Surprise! We have a gift for you!". Thank you for posting about this. The only reason the scammers use these types of email scams is because somewhere along the line there are a sizeable number of gullible people who end up clicking the links and enter their credentials. This will inevitably lead to their account getting hacked. So did you get your gift or not? Is your question really to be taken seriously?

Is there any government department in Italy that Rick Trading and their CFO can reported to for (potential) crimes that are not directly related to your case but in general for other matters such as what seems to have been the manner in which they raised 1.5 million investment rounds? He managed to bury this thread on google with abusive complains and lies, but I doubt he will be able to make a second round of crowdfunding scam without this coming into light on its own.

We all know Usyk can take a punch because he withstood what Joshua threw at him and did not panic but I we all also know that Fury is a different fighter altogether and not only will he throw more punches than Joshua, many of those punches will land and cause problems for Usyk. Without a doubt the Fury jab will play a significant part in the fight simply because that will be his chosen technique to keep Usyk at a distance while he prepares to throw those right hooks and uppercuts. He will definitely land more punches on Usyk than Joshua did. Although if I may add, this might be the first time that we might see Joshua having his match in terms of movement and with fast hands. But then again, that reach and power belongs to Fury and I think he will still rely on that kind of tactics, maybe testing on how Usyk will respond if he roughs him up, putting all his weight on him in the corner . And then Fury's jab will also play a key role. He has fast hands and for sure he can hit Usyk more than Joshua did on their two fights.

Many people are using crypto as payment methods and have been doing it for many years. Crypto usage increases year on year with more and more retailers and online shops accepting crypto as an option at the checkout. It is not all about credit cards and associated perks or cash backs, there is more to it but crypto is already widely accepted. Sooner or later it will begin to become even more mainstream than it already is but unfortunately because of negative media coverage some people have concluded crypto equates to criminal activity therefore they are reluctant to get involved. Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? Without it, the adoption would never be able to realise its full potential.
The crypto payment industry is continually growing. Nonetheless, recognition is not at the top of the list. As is customary, there are Bitcoin maximalists who refuse to spend their cryptocurrency on things.
Some people, however, are taking advantage of the cashback chances offered by cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency cards. I realise that cryptocurrencies and blockchain are only a small portion of the public, but why are those who are currently interested not using bitcoin for payment?
So, do you use cryptocurrency or crypto cards? What are your thoughts on it if you use it? If not, what's the deal?

What you said is true but having said that it is somewhat sad because there is a contradiction in how the forum operates. On the one hand scams are not moderated yet at the same time many members are constantly posting about scams and scammers to warn others. It would take something monumental to happen with users signature spamming or alike for 1xbit1.com signatures to be banned from this forum but their account would most probably be not. I'm just wondering about this gambling platform, the number of shreds of evidence that it's just a scam, and many people are fooled why it still exists in this industry, even here on the bitcointalk forum. And there are still other community members here who continue to campaign despite everything that they have also been given red trusts on their accounts. It should disappear from this forum forever, is there a way? as if this gambling site will not be the next victim? If you did proper research, you would have learnt the answers to all of your queries pretty easily. Simple answer is that this is a free speech forum which is why 1xbit hasn't been blocked in this forum(Yet).
