Got a problem with the second secret in the Mainnet wallet. I type the secret, confirm and submit. Something in chinese pops up, but it seems like it is not saved, since account info still says that the second secret is "not set yet". Any advice ?

There have been speculations ongoing for weeks now. If you ask me, no other exchange will list IOTA tll the end of 2017. And I somehow think that this is a good thing, because 1.) we will then see another dump 2.) there are ongoing issues with the wallet. These issues are from Bitfinex and the users as well. Until these problems are sorted out, IOTA better stays on Bitfinex only (with ydx and btc520 as small exchanges).

I also tried to find a wallet for it but found only github link with sophisticated instructions.
It´s not that hard  Just download the wallet for your OS and install. You have to type in a seed then. This is like your password for your wallet, write it down, store it in a safe place, make a backup, don't share it with anybody. The seed should consist of 81 characters, only "A-Z" and number "9" are allowed. Login in et voilá. |

If you feel too much during gambling you are doing something wrong.
You should never make big risky bets to win big. Always play with a percentage of your bankroll to make sure you can keep going. This also helps you to not get too emotionally involved.
100% correct, if you goes over with your bankroll then you will surely loose at the end I don't think, this is 100% correct. Most of the time yes, but there are bets, that have a such huge value, that you should do a "big risky bet". |

Do you bet with different bookies or only one ? I am asking, because you always have these low odds on 2-way markets. Any serious bettor should have multiple accounts and shop for the best odds. Even slightly better odds (say 1.90 instead of 1.85 for over/under in Tennis) make a big difference in the long run.

A lot of interesting matches on the womens side today. Will try my luck with Osaka today. If she is fit and injury-free (she retired her last match in Toronto) she will cause Kerber all kind of troubles. Kerber herself is under such a huge pressure and I am not impressed with her results this year. Probably wait for Kerber to go a break ahead, to get better odds.

Top10 ist super, mehr als man zu diesem Zeitpunkt erwarten konnte und es ist eine gute Werbung - für die Leute/Unternehmen, die eh schon in der Kryptowelt aktiv sind. Aber man muss auch die Unternehmen abholen, die keinen blassen Schimmer von Kryptowährungen/IOTA haben und für die IOTA ein Zugewinn, in welcher auch Weise auch immer, wäre. Ich hatte neulich Kontakt zu einem Unternehmen, dass bereits Bitcoin als Zahlungsmethode akzeptiert, also in gewisser Weise schon mit Kryptowährungen in Berührung gekommen ist. Ich habe IOTA angesprochen und da waren nur große Fragezeichen in den Gesichtern. Warum sollte man nicht, derlei Unternehmen mit einem sinnvollen (unaufdringlichem) Marketing auf IOTA aufmerksam machen. Einige big player sind ja schon mit an Bord, aber für eine mass adoption sind viele kleinere Unternehmen auch sehr wertvoll. Letztendlich muss das Ökosystem wachsen, denn nur dann, kann IOTA alle Vorteile ausspielen. Ein bisschen marketing hat da noch nie geschadet.

Poloniex scheint im Allgemeinen eher auf dem absteigenden Ast zu sein. Viele negative Meldungen in letzter Zeit und dazu immer mehr neue/innovativere Exchanges.

Kein Grund, beleidigend zu werden. Ich habe lediglich angemerkt, dass etwas mehr (oder überhaupt) Marketing wünschenswert wäre, um das Ökösystem zu erweitern. Adoption, adoption, adoption ist immer das Thema. Hierzu braucht es aber auch Marketing, die Konkurrenz schläft nicht. Um den coin an sich geht es hier nicht mal...... |

wir brauchen Anwendungen, ohne Anwendungen wird der Coin nicht benutzt, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass da bald einiges kommen wird. Und dann zieht IOTA an einigen Coins vorbei, die nix ausser ICOs zu bieten haben
Ist nicht immer leicht mit IOTA Einerseits finde ich es gut, dass das Team den Ball flach hält, keinen Hype erzeugt und in Ruhe im Hintergrund arbeitet - aber als Investor ist es manchmal auch hart, da mit vernünftigem Marketing so viel mehr (und vor allem schneller) vorwärts gehen könnte. @Jackl87 Wenn du langfristig einsteigen willst, ist es im Prinzip egal, ob du bei $0.8, $.0.7 oder $0.9 einsteigst. Es stehen viele Sachen an (Börsenlistings, Kooperationen, Smart Contracts), aber was bis dahin passieren wird, weiss natürlich keiner. Kannst ja erstmal nur einen Teil investieren und dann nochmals nachkaufen. |

IOTA dümpelt so vor sich hin und auch der "Announcement Marathon" war eher ein 3000m Hindernislauf. Die Wallet/Transaktionen führen bei vielen Leuten nach wie vor zu Kopfschmerzen; wird Zeit, dass das Netzwerk größer wird und IOTA seine Vorteile klar ausspielen kann.
Alle scheinen auf neue Exchanges zu warten, aber ich denke, dass dies eher zu einem weiteren dump führen wird, als zu einem (ordentlichen) Anstieg.
