Leclerc managed to complete both of the free practice sessions as the leader today. I was really curious about what Mercedes drivers were going to do. They seemed to be a little slow in these free practice sessions. For McLaren, especially Norris had really good laps. But these were only free practice sessions in the end and we can evaluate the situation healthier after the qualifying session tomorrow.

The MSI semi-finals are scheduled to start today and the series scheduled today is RNG vs EG. There's a big gap between these two teams as RNG only dropped 2 maps during the rumble stage while EG dropped 5 maps. Even if RNG put out one of the best results throughout the tournament I still expect them to drop a map at the very least plus the odds are just oozing value as it's hovering around 2.20 to 2.40 since yesterday.

https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/2138336b-cd06-4035-8186-598b6142055a

RNG managed to make it to the final round by winning the series against EG without losing, 3-0. RNG won the first map very comfortably by being superior to their opponent by the first minute already. Even though EG were highly superior to their opponent in the second and third maps, (maybe being excited or maybe lacking experience) they lost these matches. And they said goodbye to the tournament in the semi finals.

I would also like to congratulate Milan for their huge success in the Serie A. They must have really missed becoming the champions in the league. They had a long break like ten years in the end. Milan actually didn't have a very fascinating lineup but the team play was the thing that made them become this much successful this time. They had a decent season previously and I thought it was a signal for this season. They just indicated that they weren't going to be merciful if Inter or some other team made big mistakes. And they did it.

I must indicate that I'm very contented with the Celtics win last night. They were already the favourite side of the game in the first place but it was still Heat we were talking about. It isn't easy to beat them in this season. Celtics won two times in a row and got 3-2 ahead in the series as well. Something is going on really wrong with Heat now and I hope to see Celtics finishing up the series next time. But something inside me says that the series will be 3-3 first and after that Celtics will make it to the finals by 4-3.

PSG have left a very tough period behind by extending Kylian Mbappe's contract for three more years. Maybe it is an extraordinary contract for him but it isn't a big financial load for PSG of course. They would be ready to pay whatever amount he would like anytime. So it is up to Mbappe to shape his future. If he said that he wanted to play for Real Madrid, then Real Madrid were already going to be ready to sign him. They wouldn't be shy about paying a huge amount of money to bring him. But I still believe that we can see him in Real Madrid squad in the future.

My country is League C, same group with Turkey and I think it describes our level very well. For Turkey there shouldn't be any problems in this group because you don't have to play against Latvia which is historically probably most difficult opponent for Turkey.

Good luck. I hope that your country can get successful results. Latvia are really the team that Turkey are having a big difficulty against. We were able to defeat them by the penalty goal came in the 100th minute after 97 years.  Cheesy

@CLS63: Yeah, Turkey. They won me some memorable games (most recent favourite I watched against France) and I always feel like the odds are great value on them even the past 2 years but they've been a huge letdown. I don't get it. So much talent all over Europe in the big leagues, and then national team still overlooks them all or maybe I'm just seeing Turkish names on jerseys but they're not Turk nationals I suspect?

Yeah, we have players who are playing for important teams in Europe. Except Ilkay Gundogan, all of them have chosen to play for the Turkish national team. Even though Turkey have important talents, they still can't climb to the level that is wanted. I think that we still haven't been able to solve the problem. For example, Hakan Calhanoglu is showing a high level of performance in Italy, he is playing really badly at his national team. I don't think that it is related to the player.

Also don't forget to follow the Sportsbet.io F1 pool discussion thread provided from @CLS63:

and don't forget to put in your picks for before qualifying to grab those extra points for the leaderboard.

There is a really high level of competition in the pool right now. I'm expecting more people to participate in the pool next year. Whenever we mention the Monaco GP, the legend driver Michael Schumacher's pole position in 2012 comes to my mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhemGJgwdpM&ab_channel=FORMULA1   As it is hard to overtake drivers on the track of this race, the qualifying session is more important. I see Leclerc as advantageous in his country because of this.

@CLS63 you have inspired me on my next small freebet I will do 1000x bet!

Don't forget to share the last one here. I hope it doesn't lose by one game only like mine.

Never watched Premier League so early in those days so I didn't always know who the people in Behind the Bet were but Peter Schmeichel I think everyone knows, same era as Beckham and all those posh footballers Wink

Among the people who have come here so far, the most renowned person has been Peter Schmeichel definitely. He was the best goalkeeper in the world in his time but it wouldn't be fair to overlook other names too of course. One of the names that come to my mind first is Paul Gascoigne. He was also a very renowned person in his time.

(Serbia is in League B, so yeah, following that one as well)

My country, Turkey are in the League C currently. We have been really in a miserable condition in the recent years. Because of this, it would have been better if we had the League C too.  Grin But I still understand this as it can cause a complicated situation. The number of people in the pool is increasing day by day and we are already 11 people now. I think at least 4 more people would like to join the pool.

Monaco Grand Prix this weekend!

The Monaco GP doesn't satisfy me too much in terms of being watchable because it is very hard to overtake a driver on the track. But it is still one of the races that I have been waiting for. Because it is a classic race in the calendar. I'm feeling myself lucky about winning the yellow cap this week.  Cheesy

Villarreal had a decent finale in this season and at least captured the seventh position. And they made it by defeating a very tough opponent like Barcelona in an away game which was even more impressive to me. Barcelona were better statistically maybe but sometimes statistics can't help any team to defeat their opponent. This was a solid example for that situation as Villarreal won by a 2-0 result despite not finding too many goal opportunities. The seventh position isn't satisfying enough for a team that reached the Champions League semi finals maybe but they still had a great season in general.
3415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 24, 2022, 08:57:21 PM
It was a very sad ending for Arsenal in this season of the Premier League. They started the season really poorly at first. Arteta was speculated to get sacked too but after some time they started an amazing journey. Arsenal started to climb the positions in the league standings one by one and played big for even the third position for some time. But I'm afraid they still had an inconsistency problem and it cost them the Champions League at the end of this season. Arsenal still had a solid season for sure because they managed to end at this position even though they didn't have a solid striker.

Kudos to Villa especially for holding the city down until last 20 minutes of the game.
I predicted that Man City won't have an easy job against Villa and I was right, but they somehow managed to win ten minutes before match end and win title.
I had no skin in this game but it was fantastic bet for someone who played Villa to win first half and City to win the match.
Now that Premier league is finished I have to ask what are we going to bet on now? Smiley

It's going to be a really boring summer for sport bettors tbh, except for those who love to play casinos, I've personally been more involved in NBA, but that's just about to end too with just 1 game every other night, I might result back to eSport (but those game boys, be messing with ya feelings).

There will probably be loads of post season friendly games, but those ones can't be trusted either, except for the overs.

We weren't going to have this kind of a problem if the World Cup was organized in a different country instead of Qatar and in its normal time too. Fifa caused a big space in the football calendar just to make more money.

But may I mention casperBGD won also the La Liga pool??? Is he for real or just a unique genius like tomahawk09 last season?!  Grin
he's on another level  Cool  last season i won the epl and finished 2nd in La Liga, but i think casperBGD just won La Liga pool for the 3rd time in a row!!! What a run!  Shocked

heh, @casperBGD right now waiting for the prizes like

😂 🤣

we'll definitely have a World Cup pool... but, what about a Nations League pool? it starts next week, though 🤔

casperBGD has been winning the yellow cap in the F1 pool for two weeks. He is really at a different level now.

If the organization of the pool is made very quickly, then I think that enough number of people would participate in the pool. It wouldn't be any problem if we accept the payments a little late.

@CLS63 I know that feeling, mate. Would have been great win. Good news is it isn't the last game, so you already knew its a bust  Grin

Its effect would have been bigger if it was the last game. But I would have cashed out most probably then. 😂

Unlucky CLS63, that would have been a real fire cracker of a bet. Thanks for sharing, I also felt a little sad yesterday, how bad are Aston Villa? Conceding 3 goals in 5 minutes which took the title away from LFC. We have to go & win the CL now to make up for it.

Unfortunately, Ilkay made a huge contribution to Manchester City's finding 3 goals in only 5 minutes and changed the fate of the game after entering it. I hope Liverpool can pull themselves together quickly and can be in a better condition mentally in the Champions League finale.
