Joe Biden to become next US president, beating Donald Trump, according to multiple network electoral college projections

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-11-08/us-election-joe-biden-beats-president-donald-trump-networks-say/12859010

Quote
Joe Biden is set to become the next president of the United States, according to the decision desks of multiple US networks.
Key points:

Joe Biden has beaten Donald Trump to become the 46th President of the United States
Mr Trump has not conceded defeat, claiming the election was "far from over"
Supporters of Mr Biden are celebrating around the country with car honks and fireworks

CNN, MSNBC and Fox News have called the state of Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral college votes for the Democratic candidate, meaning he has enough votes in the electoral college for victory over Donald Trump.

Mr Biden said in a statement: "With the campaign over, it's time to put the anger and the harsh rhetoric behind us and come together as a nation."

"We are the United States of America … And there's nothing we can't do, if we do it together."

Mr Biden made no mention of his opponent, President Donald Trump, who has not conceded the race.

3402  Economy / Reputation / Re: Most Recognized Profiles (by BPIP) on: November 07, 2020, 01:29:42 PM
If you were to include actual posts made by a user in calculating the Most Recognised Score, then users like Lauda's post score would have to be adjusted downwards considerably given the thousands (ten thousand potentially) posts that read "this thread has been moved to (name) section" in their capacity as an admin or mod.  Such posts shouldn't count.
3403  Economy / Reputation / Re: Most Recognized Profiles (by BPIP) on: November 07, 2020, 01:06:11 PM
According to my notes, my Most Recognised score over the last eighteen months has been as low as 44 and as high as 30 and usually hovers around the 36-38 score.

At the end of this year my scores will probably be 135?, 108, 185?, 37, 280 and 239 .

By the end of August next year I will over take Lauda's score of Most Active (around about a score of 103 - Lauda's Most Recognised score will then be eight) and will be top 100 between then and the end of 2021 at about a score of 98 with the overall scores ??, 98, 160, 36, ?? and 205.

Score is -1 and this should be red, right?

Wrong.

2 X 2 = 4

10 - 4 = 6 (assuming the one positive has matured into a value of ten) (now watch suchmoon and ibminer pretend I didn't answer the question...)
3405  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network FAQ on: November 07, 2020, 10:46:01 AM
That's why Loyce suggested using a custodial wallet. BlueWallet doesn't require you to open your own channels. You can start receiving coins over the Lightning Network right after you create a wallet. You don't have to worry about inbound/outbound liquidity since it's managed by someone else.

Just ensure you write down the 24 word mnemonic seed passwords/phrase in a secure location when prompted to do so (and create an on-chain wallet first *and then* create a Lightning Wallet)

I don't understand why you need to do that. Your posts would have the same value if you fully attributed the source and didn't try to hide it.

Thanks for your reply, you have a good viewing angle.

Is suchmoon insisting *all* users on the forum attribute *all* images they use and equally DT distrusting *all* users of the Forum when they don't?

We open up a payment channel,

Did you wait for the transaction (to open a channel with the other side) to confirm *before* you tried to send funds to that person?   And, was the channel opened directly with that other side, or through a third party?  What LN wallets are you both using?

3410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [~1 BTC Bounty] on: November 05, 2020, 08:17:10 AM
Can you not use the raw transaction in the first post?

That's the "old" transaction (with the higher transaction fee) that gets rejected for a variety of fees (such as too high fee).

It will get rejected due to another reason: "too high fees". That includes blockcypher.

I've already tried posting that TX (see post from about a week ago which includes screen grabs of various nodes rejecting that TX)

How can there be a slim chance? Should I keep re-broadcasting in hopes that a small miner would accept it?
Yes,
Since 150+ nodes are still accepting it, there's a 'very very slim' chance that it will get into a mining nodes' mempool (that also accepts such transactions).
But re-broadcasting it after getting dropped isn't worth it, IMO.

I don't mind trying to broadcast the newer (lower fee paid) given there has been reports that the first TX has fallen out of the mempool and/or was never accepted in the first place.

He needs the one with the normal fee.

3411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [~1 BTC Bounty] on: November 05, 2020, 03:48:37 AM
There needs to be at least one miner who is willing to mine other peoples' non-standard transactions in the first place. I'd keep posting about this all over the Internet in the hope that it goes viral at some point and someone gives him a hand.

Until that occurs, may I have the RAW transaction so that I can try broadcasting it in various places please?

Than dont issue the loan. Someone else will make a quick 5 percent.

Given you've woken up twice this year, what collateral are you offering to cover your proposed loan?

What happened to theymos in Strongest DT1 Position? He should be at DT1 strength (51), but he's shown as (0).

I see they are using a kind-of equal ranking for users who have the same scores - will this be applied across the board to other equal ranked members in the MATR score cards?

... and accused Democrats of a fraud

Trump did that before the election along with the US Postal Service and a plethora of other people, groups and organizations etc.
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 04, 2020, 07:57:50 AM
The temporary results show Trump wins the election but I don't know how many proportions of total votes are checked so far. If in swing states, the total left (unchecked) votes are not much, Trump will win. If the left votes are big, results are not yet to come. Although unknown proportions, Trump still leads good in swing states: Gergia, Wisconsin, Pensylvania, Michigan. Only North Carolina has small advantage for Trump. In Alaska, Trump takes a lead position too.

Associated Press and Fox news have just given Arizona to Biden, so assuming Biden picks up Wisconsin and Michigan Trump won't win even if he picks up Pennsylvania. (and Georgia, South Carolina & Alaska)

And all counting has now finalised for the evening.
3418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 04, 2020, 07:35:36 AM
Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina are all leading with Trump votes at the moment, and with large margins of 5 million votes. Odds on Sportsbet has dropped to 2.75 - 1.40 for Trump - Biden. That’s a huge change from 1.65 - 2.40 odds that were displayed yesterday. All of these states have half or less amounts of electoral votes than Florida, so it just became harder for Biden to win.

No swing states have flipped yet as far as I can tell.

Might be a long night:  I don't know if it's called flipping, but Nebraska has (from what I can tell) a foot in each camp with one vote going to the Democrats.

The figures - Biden 227 to Trump 213 haven't changed in over an hour.  Not sure which states are still counting (east to west) so we may have to wait overnight.

Interesting that Trump's odds have tightened in the last six to eight hours.

Everyone who becomes a DT must acknowledge every negative tag left. Otherwise, it will be called a breach of trust. Therefore, you need to create a topic and ask for complete evidence of your accusation.

Agreed.  I've been contacted via PM and have made corrections - SFR10 is one example where I have gone from giving them negative trust feedback to they are now on my DT trust list.

There are a number of DT who say that I am wrong, but have never actually taken that first step in giving even one example where they perceive that I am wrong much less making a case for another user.

Those ones, (that is to say DT1/ones) have peddled in trading in Forum accounts, hence I consider them to be DT Trolls having lost trade.  This thread is non-moderated (Lauda wanted to make this a moderated thread and look where he is now) so any person can come to this thread and make their case without being dismissed as just an alt with a gripe.

If you post the RAW transaction I'll rebroadcast it where I can and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would given there are already ?? 150+ nodes still holding it in their mempool.
