3403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former Paypal CEO "bitcoin biggest ever scam" on: May 09, 2018, 05:53:32 PM
Yeah yeah heard it all before.  With every big shot CEO who slams Bitcoin, there are plenty of other successful ones who are praising it.
3404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australian Government having blockchain as part of the agenda on: May 09, 2018, 05:52:24 PM
With a country like Australia and its government getting on the BTC bandwagon, I can only see bigger and better things for BTC as a global currency.
Beautiful country as well and would like to visit it sometime in the near future.
3405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals... on: May 09, 2018, 05:50:46 PM
Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...

LOL this might be the funniest thread title yet for that reason alone I am replying.
While the date of this thread is from Feb, the joke is most likely now on you if you decided to not HODL.
3406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: May 08, 2018, 10:33:42 PM
Some governments don't necessarily ban Bitcoin per say, but rather choose to regulate it and even make it taxable.
Back in the days when Satoshi created what is to day Bitcoin, I wonder if he thought it would ever get to this point where we need to share our earnings w/ the gov.

Will probably post some plays later but might end up taking the day off.
3408  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why peps are paying $400 in a legendary bitcointalk account? on: May 07, 2018, 11:19:54 PM
I've never been too fond of the idea of buying other peoples' accounts; it's unethical and flat out wrong.
Why not just pout in the work the honest way and contribute to the forum with your own insight?
3409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: May 07, 2018, 11:12:22 PM
Seoul Mayor Plans to Unveil Better Self Crypto for Stratup Blockchain.

Park Woon-soon has announced that South Korea will launch its own crypto and create a better environment for startup companies Blockchain and cryptocurrency in the country. He wants to form a blockchain that is oriented like a startup industry and focuses on developing Seoul's cryptocurrency, 'S coin'.

One of the reasons for the development of 'S coin' is to improve the transparency of governance that exists there. Although the Korean government initially applied very strict rules against cryptocurrency.

what do you think about this? is this good news about the development of cryptocurrency in the future?

Excellent news for crypto and all HODLers, but I wouldn't factor too much weight into what is going on in Korea with regard to Bitcoin.
Sure, it's a positive thing whenever any country speaks about cryptos, and I'm sure South Korea will do just a fine job marketing the potential to its citizens.
3410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi Sports Parlays on: May 07, 2018, 09:14:16 PM
On coinbet24 you can also make a parlay with different sports. There could be more to be added in the list but I haven't tried other sportsbook like wbet7, jetwin, cloudbet and recently I mostly go with single bets.

Multi Sports Parlays really are a thing of beauty, allowing for mixing different sports to get the best odds.
Sometimes they are but I always avoid making these kinds of bets because they can easily destroy your day.

Every book offers parlays. Do not really understand the subject of this topic.
Not all though there's fairlay and onehash that doesn't have a parlay option.

That's fine that you always avoid making these kinds of bets, but they don't always necessarily "destroy your day."
In fact, yesterday I hit a 2 team multi-spot parlay on Sportsbet and I had a great day.

For those sits like coinbet and other you listed that I am not familiar with, that's why I started off this thread by saying Legit Sportsbooks.
3411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: May 07, 2018, 09:09:09 PM
I believe Golem to be one of the legit ICOs from years back that will still be around in the future.
Already having a use case and with the release of Brass beta, this token is one that should be held on to for years to come.
Once it's actually fully released and token holders can stake their tokens, hopefully more people join in on this genius concept.

great results mate , you are one of the few that has the balls to publish how much you are up/down
will add you to my tracking thread after I reach 1000 euros in profit
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1800883.msg17941510#msg17941510

I really believe that you should post the profit in terms of units , it's easier for new comers to see how you are doing in general without the need to dig  how much on average you bet

how about 0.01 BTC as 1 unit ??

Hey-

Thanks for the kind words, but I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.
You are correct though in that I am transparent with my plays (to the $ amount) so people can adjust their units accordingly .

3416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi Sports Parlays on: May 05, 2018, 01:33:17 PM
Every book offers parlays. Do not really understand the subject of this topic.

If you read the thread title, I mention "multi sports parlays."

As in, more than one sport parlay.

Example, a parlay with hockey and basketball.

Hopefully now you understand and if you still don't, then I'm out of ideas.

3417  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency market to suffer from strong correction on: May 04, 2018, 05:53:53 PM
I gladly accept this correction, thanks for the cheaper coins everyone.
The fact is there will always be corrections in Bitcoin, it will not continue to just go to the moon.
It's up to the strong hands to outlast the weak ones who feel inclined to panic sell when the price is down.
If you're not one of those people, and I strongly suggest you not be, it should all be worth it.
3418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pinnacle now accepts Bitcoins ! on: May 04, 2018, 05:45:52 PM
Yes you not only posted this in the wrong category, but this is not anything new for fiat sportsbooks to accept Bitcoin.
The problem occurs when converting fiat to BTC and vice versa, where you may not get the ideal exchange rate.
That's why I stick with Bitcoin sportsbooks like Nitrogen and Sportsbet, that only deal with Bitcoin.
Don't be lured into fiat books, they are a thing of the past.
3419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency education in high school on: May 04, 2018, 05:18:13 PM
I'm a big fan of crypto currency education, and would love to see it offered at my kids' school when they are older.
It's almost a matter of certainty that generations after us will be using crypto and they will need to be educated somewhere and somehow, so why not offer in in educational institutions?
Future jobs are going to rely on blockchain technology so the earlier we educate our future leaders, I think the better.
3420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question: method against KYC stealing on: May 04, 2018, 05:16:12 PM
Well first of all it doesn't sound like you're willing to trust many people in this industry, as you have every right to fell that way.
The only problem with that mentality is that since it is very easy for people to scam in crypto, sometimes KYC is absolutely necessary.
Sure it can be annoying but as long as you are who you claim to be, I wouldn't be too concerned.
This is, of course, only after you've researched the ICO you are going to invest in.
