Anyways, if you read the article about Chua's response, we can consider that Slaughter's return is still has a low chance "for now". Maybe because it's early to get back in business (PBA trade talks, signing, etc.) as we are in the Holiday season and still has several months to go before the PBA opening.
Damn, Chua have the edge on this battle. Ginebra won the championship without Slaughter, that is his card and he is also a very proud guy, definitely dangerous to those SMC players who have attitude problem. TR7 has changed since he talked to Chua and i hope that this problem with Greg will be ironed out and the latter will be back in the lineup. Being a sports director of SMC, he will do his best to make Ginebra a title contender every conference because it is only Ginebra that can fill the Araneta Coliseum whenever they are in the finals. I think this "Cstand for Greg" issue still open. |

Who do you think will be the number one pick over-all this upcoming draft?
Munzon is what I see the #1 pick right now. He played very good in 3x3 and he is very athletic too. I love to see these rookies playing in the PBA. Most of them are very promising as I see. I'm still waiting for Andre Paras to be included in the draft pool too  Agree, Munzon is a very promising player but for him to be the #1 pick over-all defends on who's got the right to pick #1. AFAIK it is Blackwater who will pick first and i think they won't select a wingman if a PF or Center prospect is available. My pick for the number 1 overall is Troy Rike if Thirdy Ravena won't be submitting his draft application. Troy stands 6 foot 8 and a banger which could slow down somehow opponents bigs. |

That's right. And this is the reason why I personally think that debating about the rematch between Pacquiao and Floyd is a waste of time. Ever since Pacquiao lost the fight in 2015, his fans have been talking about a rematch. Perhaps they can't accept the fact that their hero got beaten by a clear margin. Floyd's team has made it clear that there would be no rematch and let's better get on with it. Pacquiao got beaten by Mayweather by a clear margin? Sorry but i have to disagree with you mate. Pacquiao may have lost that one but it's not that wide for me. It's a close fight and with Mayweather being an American, of course the judges would favor him if it is a close fight and it happened (just me saying). I think Floyd avoid Pacman because he have a feeling that if ever they meet again in the ring, he will loss the zero. He can't deny that he felt the power punches of the Pacman and him being old now may not dodged many of them anymore. |

One thing i admire about Scottie Thompson is that he is brave enough to take the shot. That's is part of the opponent's game plan to leave Scottie Thompson open rather than Tenorio or Pringle which has a higher percentage than Thompson on that area. There's a saying "Pick your poison", i think that's it. The case of Scottie Thompson is not different on that of SMB's Chris Ross. He is more of a defensive player when he came to SMB and have very low percentage on the outside but that all change when opponents always leave him open. His confidence is high shooting those 3's because there is a high chance that they will get the offensive rebound because of JMF15. It's just a matter of confidence. |

Close game in second quarter Grizzlies vs Hawks but Atlanta Hawks is just a bit better from three points and they did free throws perfectly for now.
58-56, halftime score, the road team led by 2 points. Morant is leading the Memphis with 15 points while Young is leading the Hawks with 12 points. This is a good battle of the two best guards in the NBA, but Morant here is more consistent with his 6/7 shooting. Trae Young takes over in the last minute of the game and ohh man, did you see that behind the legs (or what do you call that) drive for two to seal the win for Hawks? That was beautiful. This time Young won over Morant but these two young good guards will meet often in the court and for sure Morant will have his time. |

Im happy the NBA is back, but also kind of worrysome! The sports that I love to bet but always seems super intense in the last couple of minutes when youre on a spread or total. Last season was a losing one for me, hoping for a better one this season. I can relate to this but if we don't bet then there is no excitement when we were watching games. How about tailing some of the experts here, you will know if you are following this thread. It's good to have our own speculations but not everything will go as what we wanted to happen so it's sometimes better to tail those who have a winning streak, just like what i did. |
