3402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cz taking advantage of the Nigerian government ban on bitcoin wrongly. on: February 06, 2021, 09:30:35 PM
Imo, I think CZ is simplifying everything for Nigerian citizens by avoiding their respective accounts to be blocked by central bank of Nigeria if found depositing/withdrawing via NGN debit cards.
Binance CEO just lets Nigerians to think towards p2p transaction for the moment until further notice if at all the ban on cryptocurrency will be stopped.
3403  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some romantic phishing attack to stay away. on: February 06, 2021, 06:27:24 PM
I would be more categorical, and did not warn about this particular mail, but advised not to open unknown emails at all. Especially those that go directly to the spam folder. Apart from problems, opening such files will bring nothing.
I don't know what might be the problem at the end, but receiving such unknown message with link is suspicious though, the problem at my end is random submission of my mail address long time ago which I have stopped doing recently, I was doing some clean-up by unsubscribing from those mails little by little.
3404  Other / Off-topic / Some romantic phishing attack to stay away. on: February 06, 2021, 10:17:02 AM
I just received this mail on my device few days ago at spam section, the sender telling me some romantic words to download a link to what he/she has for me Grin

This is a clear picture of some phishing attack to steal your login details especially your important keys, if you receive this similar message in your mail, ignore it or rather delete it.

Sender mail address.

Be careful with that email address, stay away from it if you receive similar mail.
3405  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 06, 2021, 09:44:04 AM
Could Bitcoin exist without the Fiat currency? Let's do some comparative analysis, old hodlers withdraws to fiat for local shopping, new investors buys BTC using Fiat right? The two works hand in hand for proper execution while the government feels threatened the value of fiat is getting to zero, that's why they started banning cryptocurrencies in their country. Nigeria government just joined the hatred against cryptocurrencies in their recent news few days ago https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/440826-updated-cbn-orders-nigerian-banks-to-close-cryptocurrency-accounts.html
3406  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerian Bitcointalk Community Hangout. {Current topic: NIN & Local board} on: February 06, 2021, 09:21:47 AM
Hehehe, naija don vex me, them don shame me, for the past three years, naija been dey trend for the crypto space,  naija be the first fiat to list on Binance, put calls, before others follow, MXC exchange list naija fiat against other pair, and other reputable exchange, 1xbet, betway, remitano first supports naira deposit/withdrawal, all of these foreign tins come naija, now big Belle people stop our enjoyment. Wetin them lack na information, if you no dey inform you dey deform...

Abeg, my blood, transact your stuff now via p2p, them no go fit stop us, we move.,no just worry.
3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex wallet on: February 06, 2021, 08:46:57 AM
Hi Guys any help short story Opened account on Bittrex did all verification bought 100 doge sold it but can’t find my wallet I even don’t have generate button on site nowhere find not even under holding I need money to deposit back to my debit card for dentist ASAP anybody can help I am new user signed up 5 days ago please help Thanks
AFAIK, wallets and coins owned is under "holding" tap in bittrex web exchange, as long as you have passed the required KYC verification, you are eligible to transfer/withdraw out your doge coin, for the pass year, bittrex disabled withdrawal button on web exchange except on the mobile app, you can download bittrex mobile app for Android and iOS because it has different interface from web. https://bittrex.zendesk.com

Also bittrex do no offer withdrawal to debit card, you can only perform that by withdrawing your doge coin to p2p exchange., You can read how to do that here https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037812372-How-do-I-deposit-withdraw-on-the-Bittrex-mobile-app-

N/b, trading on bittrex exchange is dull and not fast, do not trade on the app, only withdraw and deposit is faster.
3408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Crash? on: February 05, 2021, 08:46:51 PM
Your question need to be highligted whether Bitcoin will crash or cryptocurrencies as a whole, which really are you talking about.?
IMO, Bitcoin had passed through so many criticism right from the start since 2009 through governmental and individual complaints, now Bitcoin births altcoins making the whole system of crypto embodiments, on that note, it is the representation of ones bank while at the other end it's unacessible to other users, so if it crashes, it's because of the key owner's mistake, I mean, the term crashes has to do with the owner of the wallets misbehavior that's leads to hacking and frauding his wallets.
Also, if it happened to have been crashed, it would have done that since the days of ICO when China government banned ICO presale., So therefore Bitcoin is not going to crash anytime soon.
3409  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: February 04, 2021, 11:01:39 PM
IMO, the Elon musk influence in crypto assets will definitely have negative and positive effect on crypto assets based on the following reasons.
1. Cryptocurrency price movement is based on demand and supply, meanwhile Elon effect and influence basically failed such rules of market disorder.
2. His influence might lead to manipulation in the case of bribing and policltical corruption on the market, meanwhile he may bribed to perform some social media action, I mean swiping in the market before bribing.
3. Positive effect of bringing up the price from bottom lines for easy gains for investors.
3410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy coins. How much do you think we need them? on: February 04, 2021, 03:18:48 PM
I think op had written similar topic like this long time ago, analysing the cost of entering into privacy policy coins.
Entering the Privacy & Anonymity Atmosphere. What are the costs?

I still see the need to bring it to our awareness again because the stability of privacy coins is still intact, meanwhile some investors think that privacy policy coins might have been banned and stopped to be operated by now, what if in 2022 upward we still analysing them won't you think they are gaining momentum?
To be sincere and realistic, privacy coins is the best options in dealing in the crypto space despite the fact that they aren't superior over the first mover advantage Bitcoin.
There's need for privacy coins for users that want privacy is their transactions, if they should be banned meanwhile mixers should be stopped as well because they functions as the same in one way or the other.
3411  Other / Archival / Re: Binance Signals that can earn you 10-50% profit per month or even more. on: February 04, 2021, 02:39:55 PM
What's your timezone? You should indicate that in your post, also if you can share your years of experience in the field and if you can offer some like 3 days free of charge then you can pretend payment from those who will consider to follow your strategy
I joined in the channel while op lets his followers to follow up his signal for one week for free, he has also announced that entertaining his signals won't guarantee you winning all the time that you should do it on your own risk.
If at all you follow for a week and it goes successful, then possibly you could pay for the next week., Lets give op a try and see whether you continue or not.
3412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Blockchain technology Courses with certificates!! on: February 03, 2021, 12:00:01 AM
Quote
  • Free certificates (upcoming)

Certificate can't be free, you can possibly get free lectures, free videos, free handouts and materials but must surely pay for certificate at the end. The "free certificate" indication is a mean of getting more students because no body does something for free in the crypto space, even airdrops aren't free.
For those that will join in, expect my statement above.
3413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nominex move to defi on: February 02, 2021, 11:40:01 PM
Where do you get it, enter the tournament or invest there? I have also read that only those who invest can transfer the token directly.
For those who participate in the bounty and tournament will be distributed every month for 100 years, how much will they get, is that correct?
really a very long time if that happens
Lol, 100 years meaning hodlers won't be alive till then or have lost interest in cryptocurrency, that's some sort of wickedness to bounty hunters, I'm aware of that news although I didn't get the token, but that wouldn't let the token not dumped, must surely be dumped by early investors that participate in the presales, while putting all blames on the bounty hunters.
3414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading DEFI vs Trading Older coins on: February 02, 2021, 08:28:37 PM
More significant factors had affected tokens/coins both defi and old ones in one way or the other depending on there constant development techniques, beside Defi is just ramping at the corner at an everyday news and rumours unlike old coins, mind you the number of years a token will stay will surely determine how that token would still be active, actually old tokens that's still having some recent development seeks the attention of new and old traders thereby causing the price to be at the high peak as the case of doge, atom, LTC even rxp.

Take a time and observe these defi coins in the future if they will still be showing some significant growth in price except for the ones that's still having plan of executing the targets. The both coins are good for trading but consider the old tokens still healthy like funfair (FUN).
3415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: February 01, 2021, 10:54:21 PM
In my own opinion, Bitcoin price reaching $50k depends solely on the demand, back in 2017, the demand for Bitcoin was at average level and while it took Bitcoin to hit the new ATH of $40k in three years, on the other hand, in 2020 the demand for Bitcoin had increased approximately to 80% and are mostly demanded by new investors and  industrial and institutional companies in large quantities as well. However, having said that, I think the Bitcoin price will take not less than 6 months to reach new ATH of above $50k+ in the year 2021.

3419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bonding Curve Offering (BCO) on: January 31, 2021, 10:37:39 PM
I'm just curious about these crowdfunding methods coming into the crypto ecosystem, these days many projects had had had their project to undergo some certain unknown funding methods, recently I heard about IDO- Initial Defi Offering, now Bonding Curve Offering.
AFIAK, this remains the same thing as long as it's all serve the same purpose of selling out tokens, I think there's no unique feature it has over another, still the same thing.
What are the advantages of doing a BCO compared to an ICO/IEO/DCO?
Also IDO, IMO, STO, and many failed ones to mention.
3420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 31, 2021, 10:28:28 PM
Barca is back to 2nd place.
No matter how Madrid and Barcelona tried to go to the top, they can't possibly let ATM on the down position meanwhile ATM is topping with 10 points difference with 1 outstanding match, which i think the league title is already theirs. Madrid and Barcelona had been playing pretty poor this season, although Barca is back with their winning cycle and I don't know how long they will last with it since their winning aren't consistent for a while now.
