3401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tired of all the bullshit charts people spread... on: July 27, 2019, 05:42:52 PM
Today I saw one the most ridiculous charts I’ve ever seen.

Have you ever seen a chart with so many lines and indicators and other random shit that you can't even see the price?

I wish I thought to screenshot it, it was truly comical…

The guy defended his masterpiece saying that each and every one of those indicators and lines were absolutely critical for deciding to take the trade or not.

Calling bullshit on that.

I get wanting to have a sense of the big picture.
... but anything more than a few key pieces of information will just muddy the waters.

Maybe he's capable of keeping track of all that junk all at once.
But I know that I'm definitely not.

Like most of you, if I find myself in a strategy that's too muddy, I start drifting.

Finding myself in trades that I don't need, or want to be in...
Only noticing the bad decision after I've felt the pain of losing money.

So I keep it simple.

I make it easy for myself to stick to my strategy because I know firsthand what happens when you don’t…
It’s not pretty.

Are you tired of these tea leaf charts?

You are right but partially.
Many of those charts are bullish but don't forget that every investor has its own opinion and conclusion about a chart movement. If the analysis is totally wrong then you are right. But if they rely on some facts then they have every right to spread and tell their opinion to the community.

From DETIKSPORT.COM, Arsenal overtook Napoli and a number of top clubs to get Nicolas Pepe's signature. The Lille Winger is one step away in uniform for the Gunners.
Reported by the BBC and Sky Sports, Arsenal are willing to pay 80 million euros to bring Pepe from Lille. Arsenal also tied Pepe with a five-year contract and his salary reached 8-10 million euros per season.

He is a good signing, but Arsenal has huge problems in the defense.
They need to make some signings in the center back position. They are full in the attacking part and they still sign wingers and forwards...
3403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: July 27, 2019, 05:34:44 PM
^  Real's time is now!  I hope they lose a match in their first 5 - 8 fixtures.  That could make their line on winning La Liga go to 5 or so.  Grin  The last time I checked, it was around 3ish...  Not much value in there imo.

Check the odds now. Atletico trashed them 7:3 last night. It was 5:0 at half time. Didn't watch the game but I saw few hilarious pictures like Bale having time of his life while the team is conceding.

Add to that all the injuries happening to them, yesterday they lost Jovic and Modric, the odds could be growing nicely. It seems Bale signed for some Chinese club so he is gone too, not that Zidane will miss him much.

And I'm actually feeling sorry for Zidane, This season is going to tarnish his career as a coach unless he be able to do some magic. Most of the players in the team are out of form Real really needs some fresh faces.  Not a great fan of Real Madrid but I still love Zidane and hope Real would at least be able to play the Champions league this next year (20/21).

Real is indeed in a bad position but form can be turned around even during the season.
Please note that they build a new team and a lot of players are new signings so they need time to work as a team.
I think that we have to give them some time and not judge so early.
3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 27, 2019, 05:32:25 PM
Disastrous qualifying session for ferrari.
I predict an easy win for another race for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton again.
3405  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boris Johnson is the new Prime Minister of UK. on: July 27, 2019, 07:25:10 AM
So now Great Britain has its own Trump.
I am not surprised for that and I think that this guy is not good for THE UK. His politics may be disastrous and intthe forefront of the Brexit the UK can suffer economically a lot.
3406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 25, 2019, 05:09:58 PM
I would like to hear some of your comments based on your experience here.

Sports betting is one of the favorite games in gambling and I always wanted to experience a long term winning.

Therefore I'd like to get some of your opinion based on your experience, which is odds listed below gives you a better chance of winning?

a) over 2.00 or b) less than 2.00

The lower the odd the better the chances of wining that is why bookies uses smaller odds on a potential winning teams while using a higher odd for the weaker team, I usually accumulates the lower than 2.00 odd by betting on sure games which in most cases often results to wining however despite the numbers of my accumulated odds the values are still small because my maximum numbers of accumulation is four or five matches which I considered reasonable with a much lower risk unlike accumulating ten to twenty matches if a match is loss that is absolute or overall loss.

That's not always correct.
Of course bookers use smaller odds for the favorites and they wait for the time that the favorite would lose, in order gamblers lose as well.
In my opinion, is more profitable to gamble on odds over than 2.00 as it is a balanced odd without any real favorite in the match.
3407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Slot Tournament on: July 25, 2019, 05:02:25 PM
What would be the point of joining a Slot Tournament?
This game is so bait to lose your money as it is full of luck... Personally, I would never join one. I prefer losing my money in a game in which I try not to lose...
3408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Myths - Help you become better players on: July 25, 2019, 04:42:37 PM
I guess you should put the link to the article when you say your gonna share some in here,

http://www.casinocitytimes.com/article/top-10-poker-myths-66223

Well, I think there is a lot of misconception about poker and gambling, That poker is a game of luck but even though you would need all the luck you can get you will still be needing a hefty lot of skill for you to pull a win, Practice makes perfect in the concept of this game you will be needing a lot of practice to be one of the pros.

And the house is not your enemy here because your real enemy is another gambler and some may don't call this gambling anymore because they call this skill games, You don't have to be a math genius to play it but having a mathematical brain will always come in handy,

I think there are a lot of things you will know when reading this article and you will surely see poker in a different perspective.

Poker is not a game of luck only.
You need to impact the other players on the table emotionally and let them confused on what would be your next move.
I think that it is mostly based on intelligence and emotional control rather than just luck.
3409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Sports betting} Watch out for "professional tipsters" on: July 25, 2019, 04:38:33 PM
Be on the lookout for sports betting tipsters who try to sell you their tips, and boast about an unusually high win rate (The best tipsters have an annual win rate of 60%)

You can find free tips all over on the internet (Reddit, for example). However, there are many "tipsters" I have seen on Bitcointalk that charge up to $150 to be part of some Discord group where tips are shared, boasting win rates of 90%.

Remember, what you are looking for is how many units someone has won in the long run. If their tips were so good, they would use their own tips to get rich, instead of trying to market themselves to you.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

These people try to scam others for sure.
If someone has a tip, he would be so dump to share it with other people because if more people would start betting at that tip, the odd would start dropping and Bookers will be suspicious of this bets.
3410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: July 25, 2019, 04:14:07 PM

this story is very interesting .
But after i clicked on this video i cant belive the story .....the animated video with a computer voice comes not really trusty XD

regards

Indeed. Maybe the video was created for clickbaiting.
If this story was true, would it be public the name the region and more info about his story? Otherwise, how do we know that this is true and happened in the past?
You have a point there.
3411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: July 25, 2019, 04:03:47 PM
Here is the current situation regarding Bitcoin Adoption in the Philippines:

1. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are under regulation and therefore legal and people are free to use them, the central bank clearly and repeatedly emphasized the possible risks in using them.

2. Cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin may be legal but they are not recognized as currencies. They cannot be considered as such because they are "neither issued or guaranteed by a central bank nor backed by any commodity."

3. There are already at least 10 regulated cryptocurrency exchanges here. However, they are registered in the central bank as services in line with payment and remittances and the like.

4. Despite being ruled out as currency, we have restaurants and cafes here that accept Bitcoin payments. We have Bitcoin ATMs as well.

5. Several of our major banks here are already poised toward blockchain and cryptocurrency. One having had a partnership with "Ethereum-based Blockchain, Consensys." A handful are also preparing to create their own stablecoins.

6. There are so many positive developments here regarding Bitcoin or cryptocurrency adoption in general.

I think that you are very lucky as you live in a country in which crypotcurrencies are legal.
In my country they are neither illegal nor legal. The environment is very unclear which makes investors frightened of investing in cryptos.
The govenrment has in mind cryptos but they don't take any initiative about them.
3412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 25, 2019, 03:42:19 PM
Yeah! right, but for me, I'm ok with him if he cannot shoot 3 pointers as most NBA stars do, because like the saying "No Man is an ISland" he also need to have a superstar teammate like the other team does. By the way, I'm enjoying every game of Giannis because of his dominant under the rim. I hope we can see more of it this next season.
Giannis is improving season by season and with athleticism, height and mentality for sure he will still dominate under the rim. Team chemistry is really a must for getting rings, nothing did just being selfish on all plays. Even the great MJ and Kobe needs some to call them a legend. If Giannis will find the best and suited teammates on the court for sure they will be on the zone, you know what Giannis is capable of and plus a better teammate/s for sure it's unstoppable.

Indeed he is a great athlete and he keeps improving every season.
But, I think that he lacks of skill in strategy and playstyle. He is kinda predictable and you know that would be his next move. If he enrich his playstyle he would be for sure unstoppable.
3413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TRONbet of TRON Network!!! Do you guys try the gambling site of TRON? on: July 25, 2019, 02:51:02 PM
Binance's Launchpad is launching a new IEO soon based on TRONbet, or is it the same project?

It is actually the same project with different name. The domain is called wink.org now and the tokens of the platform WIN.
I think that this casino is bought from Justin Sun, or at least is funded by him, thus this would be the reason that the platform is changed so much.
3414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 25, 2019, 02:49:11 PM
There is no hazard, Chelsea remains Chelsea. They are a team not just about hazard. By beating Barcelona, of course this is the beginning of a good belief for Lampard to always be consistent in every pre-season or other match.

If a team can't survive when they lost 1 player then they'll get a lot of problems. Liverpool, for example, failed to reproduce their achievement when Suarez or Torres left, but it seems they've learned to deal with it when Coutinho leaves.

I do think losing Hazard is regrettable for Chelsea but that's how football works. Either you deal with it or you will fail to win anything.

I watched the latest firendly matches of Chelsea and they seemed able to overcome Hazard's loss.
In my opinion, they won't suffer a lot from his leave. He was the best player in the team but now they are working more as a team and they are more creative than before that they were expecting Hazard to make a good move.

I think Chelsea will actually suffer a lot without Hazard, he was their best performing player by quite some distance. Where are their goals & match winning displays going to come from?
I would agree that he was the best player of the team and most of the opportunities was created by him.
There are many talented players in the squad, I think that Willian would be a great substitute leader and push the team in being creative and enrich their attacking performance. Don't you think that he is good enough to take over Hazard's role?
3415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Champions League ? on: July 25, 2019, 02:46:40 PM
By watching the current transfer window, I think that Juventus is the favorite of winning the title.
Also, it may be the chance of Manchester City to compete the title as Barca and Real, seem to my eyes, unable to win it this season.
3416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2019, 02:45:23 PM
Hah looks like coinlocket$ is right...  Griezmann's move to Barca could be blocked by La Liga.  The Spanish league's president is said to be looking at the situation.  Cheesy  Wow...

And that Dybala to the Spurs news.  YES PLEASE!

If this will happen, Griezmann would possibly be left without any team, right?
This would be disastrous for his career. I am odd to see what would be the punishment for this illegal transfer.

3418  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The most important part of investing in bitcoin is timing. on: July 24, 2019, 06:42:54 PM
Yes, a right timing when it comes to investing bitcoin is important to be successful investment and earn from investment.

This timing is difficult to be defined otherwise everyone would be rich.
It is needed an excellent technical analysis and knowledge of many factors that would impact the price. If you don't have such information you would probably lose the correct timing.
3419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The peak, how it is determined? on: July 24, 2019, 06:40:35 PM
This question is linked is with the following thread I started.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5167744

Yes, it's clear for me now that one of the main factors what it decides the Bitcoin price is demand.
So, this is a second part of my question…

Than using it as a currency, most majorities of people take advantages of Bitcoins as a trading asset.  Under that point of view, simply, if the trader wants to earn profit, the price must go up.

Let’s suppose a pump… $10,000 -> $20,000 -> $25,000 -> $32,000 -> $44,000 -> $52,000

What’s the peak?

The peak decides by the moment what? More people assume that “there won’t be a pump further”. At the moment, people stop buying Bitcoins, demand reduces and price gets down…

So, my question is,

Are there some "special" circumstances assisting people to think like that (there won’t be a pump further)?

The peak is decided by a few people (the whales) who decide if they reach their profit target or not.
This is the reason why I think that Bitcoin is not so decentralized... As its price is controlled the whole chain is controlled and it losses its decentralized feature.
3420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright trying to scare people. on: July 24, 2019, 06:37:44 PM
What can we do about the Craig Wright who is again threatening to sell 821,050 bitcoin next year? This is just ridiculous as he is probably causing the bitcoin price to be weak as he spreads this story.
https://ibb.co/3zSB2rw

Not sure how to post the image.

First of all I don't believe that he has so many Bitcoins, but
if he does, he would be very stupid to sell this amount of Bitcoin in those price... It would be ireversable to get them back in the future and he will lose the power of scaring the community.
