3401  Economy / Reputation / Re: Rest In Peace Becky666 on: May 11, 2021, 06:11:24 PM
Although I wasn't familiar with him or I can't remember, but the feeling is like I lost one of our family members. I always think that the forum users (we) are a family, any minus from here isn't expected. Really feeling sad when I saw his last post was made on 1st May but today he isn't with us. We don't know when we will leave the world and from the forum as well. I don't know how should I express my feeling right now. Just I pray and hope Becky666 is fine in heaven.

Honestly, I don't see any reason why CryptopreneurBrainboss left negative feedback on Becky666 profile? Should I get tag when I passway? Isn't fine neutral feedback? I don't think it's necessary.

Peace be upon you Becky666.
3402  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost Blockchain password on: May 11, 2021, 05:31:01 PM
@OP have you managed to recover your wallet? If not then it will be too implicated to recover your blockchain wallet without remembering your password. I have been seeing many similar threads on the forum where people asking to recover blockchain wallets. But I can't see anyone succeed with bruit-force. So the best try would be to remember your password and try it. Keep trying with your all possible passwords or find possible places where you would save or write all the passwords. That's why it's pretty important to write all the passwords in a notebook.
3403  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Two Factor Authorization on Coinbase on: May 11, 2021, 04:57:15 PM
If you are using coinbase, then you may manage your primary 2FA setting from the security section. So at first go to setting after login into your account, then click setting, and the next you have to select security. If you can't find the setting then click on your profile pic. There you will find the current 2FA, if it's your mobile number then it should reflect there. Remove it and select Google 2FA as your primary 2FA. If you are talking about coinbase pro, then I am not familiar with it. In addition, I wouldn't encourage you to store your funds in a coinbase. Better to use a noncustodial wallet or hardware wallet rather than a web wallet. Just to remind you about the private key, @joniboini is right about what he described.
3404  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT USE PAPER WALLETS! bitaddress.org phishing scam on: May 10, 2021, 06:52:16 PM
I have noticed a few users suggesting to use paper wallet once someone from newbie ask about the wallet. But always I discourage to use paper wallet anyway. There was much reason why I discourage to use a paper wallet. And the most important reason already post by you. The phishing attempt is the main prevention of use paper wallets. Users would lose the funds at any time. Another is unaware of proper uses especially change address, saving seeds, encryption with passwords, and so on. Thanks for creating this thread. Hope others would get the correct reason why should avoid using a paper wallet.
3405  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Telegram Fraud !!!! on: May 10, 2021, 06:44:01 PM
Sorry to see you lost money. It's quite complicated to trust anything in Telegram. For me, I am very careful about my funds when someone invites me to Telegram. Often I have been receiving such messages, but I just report and delete them. Usually, I do not encourage investing in any ICO or IDO, it's quite risky. But if you do, then need to verify everything including the token contract address. You should research from various sources before click sends button. Cryptocurrency is irreversible and we can't do anything once funds out from your wallet. Just receive the message and send money will lead you to loss. However, thanks for sharing, hope other would take a lesson from here and you learn from your past mistake.
3406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.com hacked. I need a bit of light shared please on: May 10, 2021, 06:25:22 PM
Thanks. Done that, no reply yet. I know that the funds are gone for good but I want to know how it happened. I still believe something is very fishy since they didn't take the full amount (even though they had 3 weeks to do it since my last login) and 1.32 BTc were sent back to my wallet. Even though I do not keep my passphrase on digital support nor I visit any other websites or install software on that PC, there is a possibility that my computer was infected but then this is not my only wallet, I have others which I accessed from the same computer, browser and those are fine. So something doesn't add up
Did you get any response? If no then you have to wait for a few days more. Blockchain claimed their codes are open-source. So most probably a developer could read what Blockchain could access on your wallet and how. If Bitcoin isn't illegal in your country then you may file a police case in the appropriate department or you may file a case in the UK against them. The amount is very big and deserves an explanation of what does happened really and how the fund was moved. So please don't give up. It would happen due to a bug as well, but I don't believe it was a bug. Although you won't get back the funds, you would get the correct reason behind the hacking attack. Just continue writing all of their social media.
3407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 10, 2021, 06:09:23 PM
To be honest, it was a good move in my opinion. We know that for a long time putting all eggs in one basket isn't good, but if it's Bitcoin then all good. The reason is once Bitcoin starts dump then all other coins start dumping as well. So, I don't feel any problems holding Bitcoin. Some are suggesting Doge, but it's quite a risky coin. All altcoin depends on Bitcoin movements. If you aren't wondering to trade then just stick with what you decided. If you follow suggestions from the forum, then you will be more confused.
3408  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Bitcoin Receiving Address Question? on: May 09, 2021, 06:16:02 PM
I went to help... but where it his page with the addresses?  Is it under coinbase or pro or custody or more?  I checked all of them and cannot find this.  I don't even see settings.
There is, please click on your profile, then click setting and you will fund crypto addresses upper right. I just now checked in coinbase. I haven't been using coinbase pro and not sure about it. There should visible all of your crypto addresses in full formats. Even you can generate from there as well. Just make sure you select the right coin. By the way, I curious why are you moving BTC to coinbase, intent to sell or for trading? Just want to inform you, storing funds in a web wallet or exchange isn't safe.
3409  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Phishing All wallets (WalletsAuthentication.org) on: May 09, 2021, 05:58:49 PM
I have to say it's a very poor attempt to steal your wallet credentials. Really it shouldn't consider as a phishing site. Scammers just have been trying to make you fool and grave a few wallet credentials. I doubt people will fall in this scam attempt. If only one question comes to mind that why should use recover wallet and enter wallet credentials here? Not sure about the very beginner, but at least those as familiar with crypto-currency would notice that is a scam attempt.

Anyway, thanks for sharing it with us. More people would take a lesson from here.
3410  Other / Meta / Re: Maaan, I'd PAY for there to be a mobile version of this site! on: May 09, 2021, 05:38:13 PM
Good to see you want to help the forum even you are agreeing to pay for the development of mobile views and apps. But sad to see even you haven't bothered to search related thread herein meta. It's always good to participate in an old thread related to the same topic rather than create a new one.

For me, I don't feel any problems during use this forum on my mobile phone. It's pretty cool that we can use all the features in a mobile phone as well although it's quite complicated. This topic has been discussed many times and we haven't seen any positive responses from the admin. So, I don't think it will happen in current software. Not sure if this implement comes with new software as mentioned above posts. The forum has enough funds to build a couple of apps, but admin still not responding.
3411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No Need post Help! Useful Links to Froum Rules on: May 08, 2021, 06:08:15 PM
I have to say, merit-seeking post. There are much similar thread has been created where all the useful thread links would be found. To be honest, if you read pin posts on every board then you are in the right way. You might find a more useful thread automatically once you spend more time on the forum. Besides that, please use the search button before creating a thread. If you had used the search button then really it wasn't necessary to create this thread.

So, please lock this thread from the lower left.
3412  Other / Meta / Re: The signature campaign “syndrome” on: May 08, 2021, 06:00:08 PM
I am late here. However, I don't hide the signature of the forum. My personal view is, companies paying us for wearing signature, means they expecting few impressions from the forum where real crypto users engaging crypto-related discussions. So, if I hide signature mean other campaign's signature banner will not show to me and they wouldn't get impressions from me. But I am wearing one and I am expecting impressions as well. It's kind of selfish IMO.

During reading posts, it doesn't matter the poster wearing a high-paying campaign or low paying campaign. Low paying campaign always doesn't mean simply there is all spammer. Although I admit most of the spammer, but not at all. Their opinions would be valuable for the community. Once I feel this is a spam reply, then I just simply skip to the next reply. During reading a line enough to determine either post is good or spam. To be honest and a major part of signature participants do not read all the replies. I am not excluding myself, sometimes we reply based on the main post.
3413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Metromile plans to adopt Bitcoin on: May 08, 2021, 05:48:09 PM
Something I wonder is there any other goal to adopt Bitcoin for a few companies? Of course, if more institutions adopt Bitcoin then it's good for us and for all over the Bitcoin community. There is a win-win situation, institutions could make more money once the Bitcoin price increase and Bitcoin getting pump due to institutional investment. Besides that, I think a few companies have been trying to approach more customers by adopting Bitcoin, especially those who are crypto users. Because it has been broadcasting many news portals once institutional investors invest in Bitcoin. So it's introducing with more people all over the world and here now we discussing Metromile. Anyway adopting Bitcoin always good for the community and institutions themselves.
3414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buying bitcoin and the seeming impossibility of keeping anonymous on: May 08, 2021, 05:31:03 PM
If you want to be fully anonymous to buy Bitcoin then it's quite complicated. Because even you buy through the peer-to-peer exchange where doesn't require KYC, but somehow you are providing your identity by sending money either any electronic cash or bank transfer. That means if you intend to buy Bitcoin then you have to provide at least your bitcoin address, but it could skip by using a Bitcoin mixer. The concern still exists how will you pay the seller. If you don't buy then you have to earn somehow either mining or from other sources. But it can't save your address privacy then you can't save your privacy as well.
3415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reversal Psychology ! on: May 07, 2021, 05:42:51 PM
I know leaving suggestions for others quite easy but it's quite complicated to follow your own life. To be honest, most of the time when I bought a coin it gets a hard dump, but once sold the coin gets a huge pump. I know there was a matter of patience. But usually, we aren't familiar with unlimited patience and that's why we regret it. Once I was holding doge a few weeks ago, there was no pump and eventually, I sold in the loss. After sold just a week later start the pump and you can see the current situation. So I believe those who have too much patience trading suit for them. We are here to lose only, I am not hopeless and still trading. But not involving with big trades. Doing a few small trades.
3416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto beginner questions -offline vs online crypto, selling, buying etc on: May 07, 2021, 05:30:56 PM
Storing your crypto in any exchange or web wallet wouldn't be a good idea ever. Seems you suggested using Electrum with the air-gapped device, I know it's safe but keep in mind, in Electrum you can only store Bitcoin. And it doesn't make sense to book a device just to use Electrum where you can buy a hardware wallet with small money. Electrum doesn't support any other altcoins, but a hardware wallet supports many altcoins. I bought Ledger from the Amazon Ledger official store and there wasn't an issue. Still, I have been using and storing funds. So I would prefer to use Ledger or you might choose any other reputed hardware wallet. Just make sure the wallet seed wasn't pre-generated.
3417  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.com hacked. I need a bit of light shared please on: May 07, 2021, 12:02:34 PM
@OP you lost 19 BTC which is worth $1.75 M at the current rate. So the amount is very big and deserves some violence at least it deserves proper investigation from the end of blockchain higher authority. @OP you should write to blockchain CEO & co-founder Peter Smith directly. Contact via Twitter with him and blockchain wallet. Provide this thread as a reference thread. You have the right to know the story behind that hack. Only login history wouldn't help you because hackers easily can skip it via Tor or they have more advanced tools. The case deserves a proper investigation. Don't give up although there is no hope to get the back hacked amount. Discover the story behind the hack.
3418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bull market end on: May 07, 2021, 11:42:59 AM
What have you pushed to think that bull run already ended? It's Bitcoin man! Not a skyrocket that should fly continuously to the sky. Isn't still Bitcoin playing in a good zone? For a long time, it has been playing above the $50K zone which is pretty good at all. We don't know when we will see another new ATH but don't expect Bitcoin will drop like after the bull of 2017. Because currently there are many instinctual investors into Bitcoin, they would grave more during falling price. As a result, Bitcoin will move forward again. Anyway my thought still we are in a bull run as long as Bitcoin doesn't break the $40K zone.
3419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to create a bitcoin mixer on: May 06, 2021, 05:57:06 PM
Nothing wrong with your questions and I am not negative about it. Everything has been starting from scratch, so I believe you have a scratch on your mind. But to run a mixer at first you need a developer team and you should have developing knowledge as well to keep full control on your hand. The second thing you should have enough sources to collect clean Bitcoin. Also should have enough funds to keep to make sure circulation, otherwise, no one will use your mixer. You might take some idea to build a mixer, jambler provide Bitcoin mixing template those want to use them. Perhaps they will charge a fee for every transaction. As far as I know, a few mixers have been using their template to create a mixer, Go-Overt one of them. However I am not encouraging you to use a third-party script, just you may learn from their website how it works. So perhaps you would get a few basic knowledge of how you should proceed next step.
3420  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.com hacked. I need a bit of light shared please on: May 06, 2021, 03:53:49 PM
Yes I moved the funds. I know that the funds cannot be recovered but I cannot get my head around how this happened and why would someone leave 12.5 btc on the wallet. Also I never received a confirmation email and my emails are forwarded to another email address with a different password! Everything is weird about this. I cannot but think blockchain.com has something to do with this.
Do you know even blockchain staff would change your email where you have been receiving 2FA code for login? I just managed to find the story I had read before. So please read this article My Experience With Blockchain.com: Lost Funds, Bad Support, Low Reviews . I am not only blaming to blockchain staff. But since you strongly believe there aren't your mistakes, so I am assuming the blockchain staff is involved with that. Just curious how nowadays hackers become too kind?
