3401  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [320GH/s] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: March 16, 2012, 10:45:08 PM
Don't blame p2pool for your luck.

Menacing "omg i go to bitclockers" won't change anything, there is no pool operator behind p2pool, so your menace is totally useless. P2pool is open and it is not scamming you.
3402  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: SCAM - Bitcash.cz - Stole my coins - Don't join! on: March 16, 2012, 10:43:18 PM
Should have guessed this was just another spam thread for p2ppool. Nice set-up though. Fooled me.
Actually you are wrong.

All these scams, stealing and dishonest pool operators are what is advertising p2pool.

If they all were honest and no one scammed and stole, there would be no need for p2pool.

But since it seems we can't pass a week without a pool scam, i'll keep speaking about p2pool.
3403  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitcash.cz - Stole my coins on: March 16, 2012, 06:14:11 PM
This sucks

Btw, never heard about p2pool? No one can steal your btc on p2pool.

Where do most of the newbies on this forum stand politically and/or in this U.S. election?  If I had to wager a guess--I would imagine most are Ron Paul supporters who believe in Liberty and the Constitution?

The old vanguard is dilapidated and dying.  There is a growing movement in this country--a libertarian fervor that is ripening as we speak (i.e. write).
Hi i'm european and i don't support anyone for US election  Cheesy

You know, this isn't america forum  Cheesy
3405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, regarding advertising bitcoin... on: March 15, 2012, 10:10:33 PM
Just call them Bitcoin

Other definitions look misleading to me... except maybe digital gold.

But just calling it Bitcoin is better. It's not a swiss bank, it's not facebook and it's not "internet credit", it's Bitcoin
3406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project: Bitcoin Find and Fund on: March 15, 2012, 05:11:51 PM
I think any idea of giving bitcoins for free is fundamentally wrong

The solution to oil has nothing to do with drilling for oil.  The solution is Natural Gas.  We are capping wells we've drilled because too many were drilled the prices have dropped.  Gasoline engines can be quite cheaply converted to run on natural gas.  We have enough gas to drop oil demand, and all it would take is a small tax credit program for conversions.

If we could convert to natural gas on just tax credits, I would be impressed.

A vehicle can be converted for $300 in parts.  Enough people have gas lines to their home to get the vehicles on the road.  Once there are vehicles on the road, gas stations will start carrying natural gas.

Canada and Europe already have many natural gas powered vehicles.  We're lagging here.  The economics are there, it just needs a small nudge in the right direction.
I'm european and i have a gas powered car. Work like a normal car and almost every gas station has natural gas. And it's much cheaper than gasoline

Dear OP, with all due respect... go fuck yourself.

This scam is so fucked up...
Sir , your humor detector has obviously fucked up.

Coming from this forum I should have realized it was a joke. Since I know there's so many religious figures asking for money (in the most idiotic ways), I thought it was just another common practice.
Here in Italy religions receive money from the state in so clever ways. Consider that the Vatican receive like 1 billion € each year... then add all the reduced taxes etc etc...
I suppose god is really powerful

Using online wallet is a disaster waiting to happen...

If you properly backup your wallet.dat file (and remember to update the backup if you receive btc with new addresses) it's fine.

Blockchain corrupted, not a problem, just delete and redownload it.

Your bitcoin are in wallet.dat, wich is fine.

Oh and backup wallet.dat.

3416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: integrated graphics unit, which miner to use? on: March 13, 2012, 02:46:34 PM
If you can mine only with a CPU, i suggest you to mine Litecoins and sell them for bitcoins
3417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallet, also a miner? on: March 13, 2012, 02:43:23 PM
Or simply use p2pool. Eligius?  Roll Eyes

I've seen pictures of old versions of the bitcoin wallet and it appears to have a "generate coins" option, why is this option no longer around?
It was a CPU miner. Useless, mining bitcoin with CPU is simply a waste of time and power.

current miners suck, i can't get any to work on my pc
More like you suck, miners work perfectly.

Yes I understand this, but there is no safeguard?? Like Putting the coins back in to the community when they have been unused for lets say 2 years.
0/10 trolling.
