What country are you in?
There are a lot of similar and well-known services for America and Europe, and even many large cryptocurrency exchanges have begun offering debit cards to their clients.
There are similar services in my country, but they offer lower rates for exchanging cryptocurrencies.

I don't understand why install a 3-cooler cooling system on a 1660 super video card.
The more copper pipes in the radiator, the better the cooling system. Some manufacturers try to compensate for a cheap radiator with more fans. Reviews, the best way not to buy a problematic video card.
3403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [HELP] RTX 2070 gets only 9MH/s on: January 05, 2022, 12:20:17 PM
If you have the same video card, then download the BIOS firmware from it and replace the BIOS on the problematic video card. But always keep backups.
The RTX 2070 is perfectly flashed with the nvflash64 utility, and the BIOS can be used from a similar video card. But keep the original one to establish a warranty call.
3404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is the Nvidia RTX 3060 rev 1.0 full hash rate on: January 05, 2022, 12:11:44 PM
If I recall right with the nvidia driver 470.05, yes.

Thanks @Metroid. I think 470.05 driver is only available for windows and must register as a developer before using it. I thought rev 1.0 cards are full hash rate and only rev 2.x or V2 are LHR cards.

At least in my 3070 rev 1.0 I get full hash rate with regular installation and was wondering if it is the same with 3060.
Beta driver 470.05 can be downloaded without registration if you use the searches or links in this topic.
If your video card 3070 rev 1.0 gives a full hashrate, then you are very lucky, and this is not the LHR version.
The 3060 video card had problems at the very beginning, and a normal hash rate was possible only when using pci-e x16.

You can try Amazon to get replacement fans for your specific card.
I got some replacement fans a couple of weeks ago for my XFX RX580 GTS for €17,75 (abt US$20) and they work great.
RX580 GTS Grin
On aliexpress, these fans cost $ 7-8. The only problem is the quality of these fans, because they break down within 6 months.
If there are good quality fans in your country, OK.
But the original fans were installed to me only after contacting an authorized service center.

Where I live got the fans within 2 days from amazon, AliExpress would have probably taken 2 to 89 weeks. Sofar working fine, how long they will last don't know.

Did the replacing myself was dead easy had to disasemble it completely ( abt. 8 screws) and repaste at the same time. Those XFX cards are really easy to take apart.
The job of replacing the fans is not a difficult task.
I started having problems after 3 months, and after 6 months I threw out most of those fans.
I hope you are more fortunate, because you will find out about the quality of the fans in a few months.
3406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming X 12Gb runs at 25MH/s !? (not LHR) on: January 01, 2022, 01:38:48 PM
Hello everyone, I would like to say that I am not a mining expert and that I do not speak good English.
Today I received 4 GPU 3060, (see model in the title).
When I mounted them on my rig, I saw that they give me about 23-25MH/s in overclock and 20MH/s in stock, when I saw that they should go at least 50MH/s, if not more.
I currently use SimpleMining as my OS and Phoemix as my miner.
Overclock settings: core -200; memory 1400; power 120.
I saw searching online that it could be a driver issue, but I have no idea how to install them without having winows or linux.
Thanks a lot in advance for your time and happy new year!
You can mine other coins

https://whattomine.com/gpus/58-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060?cost=0.1

I understand that your video cards are not LHR, but they require certain actions to increase the hash rate on the Ethash and Ethash4G algorithm:
Windows, PCI-e x8 (for each card) and nvidia driver 470.05

3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: hiveOS help on: January 01, 2022, 01:25:14 PM
I have a problem with my rig running on hiveOS, every several hours of working I always see Nvidia OC failed for no reason but this doesn't shut down my mining rig or cause reboots, the message just keep showing up like 6hrs,13hrs, 24hrs and so on
menu >_ Run command
writing a command: miner log
Study the miner's logs.
If nothing is clear, start mining on standard settings and check the result. Then add overclocking.
You can try to change the miner, I think in a few days you will find the reason.
3408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does the CPU or motherboard affect mining speed? on: January 01, 2022, 01:17:02 PM
Thank you for lots of answers.
I know that even lowest cpus work well.
In my past years (at my beginning) i ran windows. 8GB Ram helped a lot starting the miner
and using Teamviewer to tune. When i switched to Simplemining 8GB might not be a must.
But i stay with it on all rigs. RAM is cheap and it might help in the future. Who knows....

Anybody out there running a few rigs, with the exact same GPUs (6 or more) and has one
rig build with the B250c motherboard and can compare the hashrate.
Would love to see a bit data.

So far, i only buy the intel B250c and 4 thread cpus like 6100T and up.
The hashrate does not depend on the motherboard, special motherboards are needed to unlock LНR video cards, but this does not apply to our topic.
The hashrate of video cards will differ by 1-2%, and the result depends only on you. I never go into the settings for each video card separately, but use the same settings for all video cards in a mining farm.
3409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU with 2 Fans and 3 Fans on: January 01, 2022, 12:55:04 PM
Hi there,

I noticed some Nvidia cards come in both 2 fan and 3 fan models. Apart from the difference in length, are there any design changes that would impact on hash rate? There seems to be $200-$300 price difference between the two. If no technical difference between the two then buying twin fan model would be the cheapest.
If you buy a video card for mining for installation in an open case or a PC, and do not want problems, then it is better to buy a video card with good cooling. Even a $ 200 overpayment for good cooling will pay off in a few years, but not every expensive graphics card is good.
I recommend that you read the reviews of miners before buying. If you use closed cases, then you can get cheaper video cards.
The processor is the same everywhere, and the hashrate depends heavily on the memory manufacturer and overclocking possibilities.
3410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does the CPU or motherboard affect mining speed? on: December 31, 2021, 03:10:46 PM
Quote
My 5600xt graphics cards use 4GB of RAM and dual core processors.
If you install more memory, then there will be no improvement in the hash rate. But I use a Linux system hive os, the monitoring window shows the data that 2.3 GB of RAM is free.
Why install an 8 GB mining farm if you can save money?

The difference in price is not big and is future proof
The future is unknown, and the extra $ 30 must be paid now.
Why then not 16 GB at once?
Memory can always be purchased if necessary, and memory is constantly getting cheaper.
If you are interested, motherboards with DDR 5 have already appeared, but tests show a small performance gain.
3411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Connect 6 GPUs to EVGA SuperNOVA 850 on: December 31, 2021, 01:56:07 PM
Hi there experts,

I have EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P5 Power Supply, 80 PLUS Platinum PSU and currently running with single RTX 3070. I would like to connect 5 more GPUs so that I could run 6 GPUs in total.

Is it possible to connect 6 GPUs to the EVGA SuperNOVA 850?

Other question is, PSU spec says it has 6 x PCIe sockets but I can only see 4 marked as VGA. Any particular reason ?

Thanks,
It's good that you read the documentation.
https://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/PSU.aspx?pn=0C16EB45-30EF-4857-B3BE-8A5951E4FABA
If the video cards only have an 8-pin power connector, then you can connect it, but I strongly advise against doing this.
Better buy an additional power supply and connect 4 GPUs and mobo to your power supply and 2 other video cards to another power supply unit.
3412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethermine payout on: December 31, 2021, 01:47:30 PM
What's the best way to get Ethermine payout and cash it to Coinbase? I don't want to use exchange wallet address because I might lose some payouts but I don't want to use the Polygon/matic either because it requires me to bridge back to Ethereum mainnet before I can send the fund to Coinbase.
Commissions on the Ethereum network are 5-30 dollars, and you will lose this money with every payment.
Find an exchange in your country that supports the Matic network, exchange your coins there.
If you are selling coins, it is best to send them to the exchange.
If you specify your intermediate wallet for transferring coins, then you will need matic tokens for the transaction.
3413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bad weather/ mining on: December 31, 2021, 01:35:43 PM
As a crypto miner what would you do if bad weather starts? Will you continue mining or you will off your rigs? Lightening is bad for electronics components isnt it? What if you have them on surge protector too?
Any good ATX power supply has built-in overvoltage and short circuit protection.
If the voltage is more than 250 volts, for example, the power supply will turn off. You can check this information on the websites of power supply manufacturers.
You also need to take care of the protection of LAN cables, because there were cases of damage to motherboards and video cards after lightning hit these cables.
Housing surge protectors are better, you can't tell me that we only have same lightening around the globe in some areas it can be very deadly and mobo with power supply will get fried so it's better to do a big lightening protector in your home
I also think that lightning is the same everywhere.
If the danger is very high, then such equipment is additionally installed on each house.
https://thorspd.en.made-in-china.com/product/dvmQTESVaPhH/China-Lightning-Arrester-Surge-Protector-for-Equipment-Protection.html
It is also more profitable for power companies to put protection on transformers, so that when lightning strikes, the increased voltage goes through the ground.
But if a ground is installed in the house, then even a varistor on a conventional surge protector will help to avoid problems.

Now that mining profitability is decreasing everyday and crypto market is looking weaker will we finally be able to buy some GPU at cheap price in 2022? Will GPU scarcity finally reduce ? I heard about the upcoming RTX 4**** is this for real?
Testing the Nvidia RTX 4090
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0frNP0qzxQc

The new product line starts with the release of the most expensive video cards, if you are waiting for cheap low-budget versions from the analogs of the PTX 3050, then I think it will be in 2024.
3415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best overclock settings for 6600 (not XT) on: December 31, 2021, 01:10:16 PM
hello, I have a rig of 6 Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 Pulse cards (not XT), currently I use the default settings: core clock 950; memory clock 930 and core voltage 625. Memory voltage and memory control voltage I don’t have them set.
Currently I get 28.2MH/s per card and 50W of power consumption.
The fans are on 10% fixed, with a temperature of 50°C fixed.
Do you think it’s a good setting or you could do better, especially to preserve the GPU over time?
If you set the memory clock to 950, then you have 29 megahash.
To date, this video card has one of the best energy efficiency indicators in mining.
If your video card breaks down in mining, then reduce the memory clock. No other advice.

Hi there mining experts,

I started mining Ethereum recently and wanting to understand payout policy of Ethermine. It says I can request manual payout if my earnings are more than 0.005  ETH if I have the IP address of the rig or a connected wallet. Does automatic payout of ethermine would be more convenient as it wouldn't require IP address or a connected wallet?

Are there other pools that provide more convenient way of receiving payouts?

Thanks,

Best way to move your money from ethermine is with L2 Polygon (Matic). Try to see the videos on youtube about it.
You are all right, but it looks like the miner does not have access to the wallet and the mining farm.
This sometimes occurs, so it is better not to use exchange wallets.
Or use a nice hash miner, because it is very simple for beginners, but it's better not to get used to this service.
3418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does the CPU or motherboard affect mining speed? on: December 30, 2021, 02:49:15 PM
Hi together,

i have lots of mining rigs and lots of different motherboards.

On my last rigs i bought each 6 x 6700XTs.

Typical closed mining rig, with cpus i had in stock.

1. Rig with G4400 and 8 GB RAM and 6 x 6700XTs with an older mining mainboard

2. Rig with 6100T and 8 GB RAM and 6 x 6700XTs with the B250c mining mainboard.

Settings were all the same, 1300 on the core and 1075 on the RAM.

1. Rig all GPUs hashed around 46.6 to 46.8 MH/s.
2. Rig all GPUs hashed around >47 to 47.15 MH/s.

The difference for each GPU was 0.2 to 0.4 MH/s.

So i started changing the RAM and GPUs --> same MH/s.
When i changed to 1, Rig mainboard to the B250c the MH/s went up to 47.1 MH/s.

Now i am running both rigs with the B250c and 1 6100T / 6500T.
Difficult to say, but i would say the 2 core 4 threads 6100T runs the GPUs a tiny bit faster.
Same on the 6500T (4 Cores)

Can anybody confirm this? I always thought all Boards and even the slowest CPUs would give the same MH/s.
On my test this is definitly not true.

In a harsh environment with heat what is the best graphic card you can advice someone to buy for mining? In this country I'm talking about the sun 🌞 is very intense so to avoid overheating or dead card what is the best GPU you can advice someone to buy?
Not in every country you should be mining if you cannot provide adequate cooling for your graphics cards.
I probably will not give advice, because it can be a reason for losing money.
If electricity is very cheap in this country, then you can use closed cases and cold video cards, but not buy top GPUs, for example 3080 and 3090.
