Cool
3402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: November 30, 2021, 11:30:06 AM
1BTC = $57,000
0.1BTC = 57,000 ÷ 2 10
= $28,500 $5,700.

You've got a math problem there, buddy. I fixed it for you. Grin

That's a good Investment capital to start with. If Bitcoin ever get to 100k, you'll be having almost 100% return on your Investment.

You got that part right, and that applies to any amount of investment.
3403  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: November 29, 2021, 04:47:46 PM
Go fuck yourself.

What do you call this if not harassing?

Do you think this is a good use of the trust system? Sounds like a little kid throwing a tantrum to me.

Nope. Sounds like the correct use of a trust system, especially for a neutral tag. dkbit98 expressed his personal opinion on this topic, you responded with personal insults and harassment.
3404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Growing Bitcoin demand among people.... on: November 29, 2021, 04:12:13 PM
No, we don't have to reach 100k by the end of this year, as long as we move in the right direction.  Grin

The demand for bitcoin has skyrocketed recently because the cryptocurrency has hit record levels with a sharp price increase. As an investment in bitcoin has been booming, it has become more acceptable for customers to demand it as a payment option. The cryptocurrency has a huge market share with a lot of people around the world believing in it.

Paying for goods and services with bitcoin seems to be a common trend in most parts of the world. This indicates a positive outlook for the cryptocurrency in the near future. So, the high demand for bitcoin also indicates a better outlook for bitcoin as an investment. And the circle closes.

3406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized wallet on: November 26, 2021, 10:14:32 PM
Hi guys  Smiley who know a good dex and a good decentralized wallet also with reduced gas costs and where we can not only store eth and erc-20 ?

What do you mean by decentralized wallet? I suppose we can say that custodial wallets are centralized, then this would mean that all other wallets are decentralized. Choosing one is a personal choice. Some people prefer hardware wallets to maximize security, while others find that a popular software (mobile) wallet is sufficient since because they don't make large transactions with it and they don't hold large amounts on it.
3407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments planning a Crypto Crackdown? on: November 26, 2021, 10:03:07 PM
The mining sector would definitely have to be worried ...

Could this be a good thing for crypto in general? I mean, if large mining farms were banned in countries with cheap electricity, there might be a rise in the number of small (domestic) miners, leading to greater decentralization.
3408  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Crypto Friday - popusti na trgovanje u Way2Coin trgovini on: November 26, 2021, 09:44:08 PM

He has more than 2500 $FUN in his account but his account is not premium yet and it shows nothing in "PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT DETAILS".
He didn't buy any of them, he's earned them by activating fun bonus.

If you (he) just earned them, it is perfectly normal that your membership benefits won't reflect immediately. As STT already suggested, give it a day or two.

3412  Other / Meta / Re: recover ban account on: November 26, 2021, 06:11:17 PM
where should I make a ban appeal thread?

Since it is forum-related, you should create a ban appeal thread in the same board where you created this thread, which is Meta. By the way, I recommend you learn to use the forum search function. There are many ban appeal threads that may provide some insight.
3413  Other / Meta / Re: This board is not keeping up with current times on: November 26, 2021, 05:27:52 PM
All about bitcoin, then the (alrightish) trading area, and then the meta.
How about altcoins? How about DeFi, NFTs, metaverse and everything trending these days?

This forum was not created as a consequence of these trends, nor is it necessary to follow them. As some have already mentioned, trends come and go, but feel free to discuss them in the altcoins section.

Times are changing guys, it's not 2017 anymore.

The last time I checked, Bitcoin was still a pretty hot topic.
3414  Other / Meta / Re: META - I have question on: November 25, 2021, 11:02:06 PM
2. Why Many Accounts with the average rank of the hero-the legendary do Not use the signature code?

Because that is not the main purpose of this forum. You can use your signature space to promote some personal stuff or rent it to make some money, but the main purpose of this forum is to share knowledge and participate in discussions related to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
3415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some rebalancing questions. on: November 25, 2021, 10:48:33 PM
What board was the topic posted on originally?

Development and technical discussion.

And, how is this topic in any way related to the Development and technical discussion of Bitcoin? No wonder the moderators decided to delete your topic.

Can someone please post any of these devices or gift cards that you received for your reward points? I have not seen a single person boasting on this forum or bragging with their "reward" that they have received from Stake.  Roll Eyes

I'm sure you're aware that reward points can be exchanged for BTC much more easily, so I see no reason for anyone to wait for a sufficient amount for any of the other rewards offered. I believe many here, just like me, value bitcoin above all else.

3417  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: November 25, 2021, 08:27:43 PM
@1xbit_official, you should be looking at this case. There are no point not to answering it.

I can pretty much guess what answer these scammers are going to give.  Wink
As for the comparison with other casinos, I would say they are not even close. Most casinos care about their reputation more than anything else. These guys don't.
3418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I promise you, this technical problem is going to be a very interesting case.... on: November 24, 2021, 12:38:54 PM
1. In 2018 he used the Ledger Chrome app to create a BTC and a LTC address to receive funds.
2. They sent him the funds, both LTC and BTC, blockchain explorers confirm that the funds are received and confirnmed.
<cut>

Something's not adding up here.

You stated that both addresses were generated by the Ledger app in 2018, but, according to this transaction, the Bitcoin address received the funds on Dec 29, 2017 and that is the only transaction to that address. How is that possible?
3419  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My laptop crashed - need to restore Electrum on: November 24, 2021, 12:10:43 PM
Many thanks! I have been able to restore my wallet with all my bitcoins in it. I was getting this processes in the google as well but there are many other confusing processes. So I was worried on what to follow.

In reality, the process is rather simple! Thanks a lot nc5loc. You saved me from a heart attack!

That's great. Glad you were able to restore your wallet.

I would just like to point out that if you are going to have your laptop repaired, it's possible that your old wallet files can be compromised. Whether your wallet was password protected or not, giving full access to wallet files to third parties is never a good idea. There is always the risk of brute force attacks. It would be wise to completely wipe your drive before taking it in for service or moving funds to a new, freshly created wallet.
