3401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy on: March 27, 2020, 04:50:06 PM
Lol funny how this 3% then eventually turned out to be a more than 50% drop. People started to panic when they started to see the drops. They started to fear for their investment when they started to see the kind of news you have posted over here. Not only this, as the stock market and the economy also started to crash, the price of the bitcoin also started to fall as people thought crypto currencies were going to face the same fate as the stock market which actually ended up happening as more people started to sell. At least it started to recover and is above $6,000 USD.

3403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: March 26, 2020, 11:35:41 PM
90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams

If I see a project that appeared in 2018 until now has experienced a very significant setback. Most of them are con artists. Fraud that often occurs in the form of postponement of time, not paying the completion of the campaign, not being listed in the exchange, locking up tokens for a very long time, even some who cannot make withdrawals.

There is also something that happens with changes to the wallet payment to the platform in a short duration, so we did not know there was a change. And when we ask easily they answer the distribution period is over. Really we are like dealing with extraterrestrials.

They make campaign participants like their helpers. Change the rules of work as they please, some even delete from the list of campaigns, even though they have worked for up to a month.

Do they not think that we spend a lot of time campaigning for their projects.

All they have to know is that the services of campaign participants are very large towards the success of a project. It is they who continue to provide information to the public.

I hope the bounty manager can check each project before it is managed, and for cheat managers, stop cheating.
You sure its 90%. I have seen almost 100% of the people are complaining about the bounty program being a scam. About changing rules, if you read their rules carefully before joining, you will see that one of the rules says that the rules can be changed according to the managers will without any prior notice. So, I guess they aren't doing anything wrong (though I know it is unethical and not right at all).
Participants get deleted probably because they broke one or more rules. They don't get notified when they get kicked?
3404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New suggestion for unpaid bounties on: March 26, 2020, 11:13:02 PM
What did you learn in altcoins, those projects didn't paid bounty hunters even after successful. We can gather information by all unpaid bounties and with reasons why didn't paid. For us this is very hard when our good research is successful but admin cheated to bounty hunters. List why didn't paid, your experience and history about unpaid projects
You sure those were "successful" project and they didn't pay? Only those projects that fail or are scam projects are the ones that don't pay the bounty rewards. Are you sure those who didn't get paid actually didn't break any of their terms or rules when applying or while under the campaign? I have seen a lot of people complaining that they were scammed, but instead it turns out that the user himself was at fault.
Anyways, I would say those bounties are just waste of time. Avoid them and do something more productive.
3405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk has been blocked in Russia because of Gambling advertisement on: March 26, 2020, 10:46:12 PM
Domain "bitcointalk.org" was blocked yesterday, 25.03.2020 by Roscomnadzor.

The reason for inclusion in the blacklist was a letter N 2-6-20/2017-07-13-1796-AИ from the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation dated 13.07.2017.

Additional information about this case can be found here: https://reestr.rublacklist.net/record/1250933/

As you can find out from the link above, they blocked this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1620600.0 in which was discussion about BitStarz casino scamming people.

It seems that gambling discussion caused tax services of Russia to ban whole cryptocurrency forum.

Not sure how this works? No one over here provides gambling service. Only announcements take place over here. Its not like you can place bets on this forum. Why would discussion about gambling be taxed. Sounds more like people are getting taxed for expressing their opinion which is really sad.
Weird law I would say. But people are smart enough over here. They will eventually find a way Wink.
3406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new cryptocurrency on: March 26, 2020, 10:28:06 PM
There is a new cryptocurrency called the Daehaminguk Shaniya Yoona (DSY) out. It is the future of cryptocurrency and it is the official currency of the Democratic Republic of Daehaminguk Shaniya. Trade it and try it out!
Never even heard of Daehaminguk Shaniya Yoona. I bet there are hundreds and thousands of people out there that also have never heard of DSY. Now how can a currency that people never heard of become the future of crypto currency? Why do you really think it is going to  be the future of the crypto currencies? What features does it have that makes it superior than most of the crypto currencies currently available? Provide us with some link to back up your facts please. Or we will assume that you are just trying to create some hype on buying this shit coin.
3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency during this pandemic on: March 26, 2020, 10:04:23 PM
What makes you think that fiat currency is no longer stable? If it wasn't any longer stable, the economy of each and every country would go down and a huge global economic recession would hit causing too much trouble on peoples everyday life. People would end up suffering very badly. They wouldn't even be able to afford anything.
On other hand, you are saying that the world is helping the people during the pandemic by printing money? Lol, please tell me where you read about this? Do you even know how badly it is going to affect the countries economy if they print money during this period of time?
3408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 25, 2020, 11:46:26 PM
Bounty campaign is a good way for projects to spread the word and gain publicity in the cryptocurrency market. But it is not the best way to gain investors. Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors. And these posts are just basic and can not convince good investors to invest.
Bringing in the investors and funds depends on the team's marketing ability and their ability to close deals. This is why good projects attend a lot of crypto events and network with people.
Though bounties help a project to create popularity and hype among crypto users, the main investment and funds is brought in by the team's marketing and closing ability.
True. Only bounty programs aren't enough to get investors attraction. To be honest, most of the bounty hunters do their job for the "money". They don't do it for the project. So it badly impacts the reputation of the project.
Look at all those spams on different forums, twitters and groups. Do you really think these spams actually attract investors attention? Nope. They instead ignore those posts at all cost.
3409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not as risky as many think. on: March 25, 2020, 11:12:56 PM
I beg to differ. You can't be saying bitcoin is as riskier as other assets (i am assuming tangible assets over here). To be honest, tangible assets are actually very very less riskier than crypto currencies. The assets can hold their value. They don't drop in price within few seconds. The prices of tangible assets cannot be manipulated very easily. Look at the bitcoin market. The prices drop to  a huge extent just within few seconds. The market can be easily manipulated by those who get to control majority of the coins. It would plain stupid to call bitcoin less risky. Though with risk comes the profit!
3410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: March 25, 2020, 10:53:11 PM
Like others are saying, air drops are indeed just a waste of your time. I have read your updated post where you say airdrops have 0% risk. Well, not really. You are risking your "time" over here. You could have done something else, probably something more productive instead of wasting your time researching those airdrops. Again, as far as I am aware, some airdrops require you to do certain tasks which might also include downloading something. Now how much risk free is those unknown app that you will be downloading?
3411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 25, 2020, 10:20:43 PM
It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects

It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong
Lol. 14% weekly return sounds legit to you? Lol really? Even 2% daily return sounds too good to be true. How could your friend (assuming its your friend) be so stupid to fall for this scam? Was she really expecting to get around 200 USD per week doing nothing and by just investing? If you sum up everything, you will see that were offering 50% return per month which obviously sounds like a scam.
Sad she fell for it. Hope your friends are more careful next time.
3412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you use for gambling frequently? on: March 21, 2020, 01:49:42 PM
With the retreat in the price of Bitcoin, this question started to come to my mind. I personally mostly like trading with ETH. I think both liquidity and mobility are faster. However, as a result of the price decrease experienced in the previous weeks, we have seen that the balances we tried to earn are rapidly melting against the USD.

I think we need to completely separate the crypto money we buy for investment and the crypto money we use for gambling. Personally, from this point on, I will use as many USDTs as possible for gambling.
As far as I know, people mainly gambles using coins that are already popular on the market. The casino I visit (crypto-games.net) has users that prefer playing with bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, dogecoin and then bitcoincash. Crypto-Games.net offers monthly wagering contest and you will see coins like BTC, ETH, LTC, Doge has been wagered the most and users most of the time max out their rewards on those coins. Other supported altcoins are least used over there.
3413  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 21, 2020, 01:41:14 PM
NO?

An antidote in this context would be a vaccine and the spread w pi uld have to be subdued for the vaccine to be applied to the population.

We may also see some random stocks rise though as less valuable companies come out with tests and cures.

For every private company in the US testing a vaccine, there's probably a socialised medicine programme in the EU doing the same thing, if they find them so fast - it wasn't a race, they know what they were doing...
Vaccines are not some sort of antidotes. In fact antidotes and vaccines are totally different things. You don't have to subdued the spread (not even sure what this means. I am assuming you mean that the spread has to be controlled) for applying the vaccine. People that hasn't been affected by the virus can apply the vaccine (if it ever gets created and approved) to make themselves immune (or at least be able to fight the virus without causing much trouble) to the virus. Those already affected by the virus does not need to apply the vaccine since the anitbodies can already fight against the virus.
You use antidote to reverse the bad affect of drugs or poison. On other hand you apply vaccine in order to make your immune system be able to fight against that particular virus if it ever attacks the body.
3414  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 21, 2020, 01:30:42 PM
Other country claims to have the vaccine for this particular virus that means that this will end up sooner, the thing is that we don't know when.
That is why we don't need to lose our hopes and this crisis may over shortly if we also cooperate with what the government and WHO tell us to do.

Small business partners must also have to understand the situation. They can suffer the losses but much more losses if we continue to open without transactions happening. May we think that big business institution survives but we can't deny how much money also they lose for this time. We all are affected by this, its either small or big business groups still in the struggle.
Lol at those countries that claim to have vaccine for the virus. Even if they do have it, there is no guarantee that its going to work. A vaccine has to go to trial and it takes more than 8 to 12 months before it can be used and accepted globally. So don't expect to start using those vaccine anytime soon. Even to make things faster, the government decided not to do animal testing and directly try it out on humans.
This loss is nothing compared to the loss we will be facing when the whole world gets infected.
3415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 21, 2020, 01:27:16 PM
Lol, funny how people starts screaming bitcoin is doomed or its dead just because they see the price falling really bad. Those who have seen the price fluctuation and the volatility of bitcoin, they know the real deal. They know that it happens unexpectedly and there is nothing to panic about.
Again, it is those same group of people that starts to praise how awesome bitcoin is once the price starts to recover and go higher. Totally hilarious.
Tried watching that video you made. Had to close halfway. Was kinda bland and slow. Try to make your videos more interesting and jolly (not trying to demotivate you or anything Smiley )
3416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 20, 2020, 10:54:43 PM
Now that almost all sporting events all over the world are cancelled, those wanting bet of sports events are left with having to find alternatives. What are the majority doing?

Are some giving up and trying to become reformed gamblers?

Are some gambling on casinos instead?

What are alternatives most sports betting users are now switching to?

I guess most of them are gambling on online casinos. They are just playing dice, slots or other games that they find interesting. Though yeah, its actually a prime time for them to reform their gambling habits and if they are addicted, stop for good.
I guess there are simulated sports games out there that they can place bets on. They are probably playing over there  Roll Eyes.
3417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: March 20, 2020, 10:52:11 PM
Most of the groups were using fake/bot accounts. IMO only less than 1% of accounts were active. I used to join one of them in the early bounty days lol. Besides of artificially inflated groups, the bounty itself is dying. Creating a telegram group with thousand of bots is easy though, I bet they will become active again if there is hype in ICO/IEO again.
True. Most of them are bots or just fake accounts. The users are paid for shilling. Don't know why people still joins those group even after hearing that lots of people got scammed by them. Its not only those bounty groups, there are also trade groups that are filled by bots, fake accounts and shills. They make people believe that they can make "easy profit" by trading according to their "strategy". The other shill accounts provides proof (fake) backing up the claim of the group owner. The members unfortunately falls for it and pays to get further instruction.
3418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Bitcoin vs Coronavirus on: March 20, 2020, 10:47:20 PM
-snip-

What is your opinion? Isn't Bitcoin the best solution right now? BTC
[/center]
Lol, I laughed. But unfortunately no. It isn't the best solution right now. Look at how volatile it has become during this critical time. Its jumping +/- 10% like in every two hours! No one would like to use this kind of extremely volatile currency. You have to admit bitcoin has a lot of drawbacks to be used as a regular currency for making day to day transactions.
If you don't want to be using fiat cash since you are scared of spreading/catching the virus, you can always use alternative method like digital payment such as Paypal.
3419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Italy is using blockchain to fight on: March 20, 2020, 10:43:05 PM
Italy has utilized blockchain technology to fight back. Earlier it was reported, the Italian charity organization, Red Cross, has introduced a blockchain platform to collect donations to combat the disease. Recently, Sella, an Italian bank, has introduced a new service to trade bitcoins.
Great news, but not sure if it is authentic. I have heard Red Cross using crypto currencies to collect donation (not sure if it was red cross, but yeah it was an organization that started accepting donations through crypto currencies). But, Banks and crypto currencies don't go with each other. Kinda sounds like its totally a centralized trading system. But still, its helping them, so yeah, they should continue.
The article at the end states that no verification or KYC is needed. So how are they going to fight fraudulent transactions?
3420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's just the beginning on: March 20, 2020, 10:38:33 PM
Crypto will be the biggest thing to focus on from now on because Bitcoin is recovering an stock market is not, once many witnessed this they will finally understand what crypto is capable of, for all of you saying it's the end, well it's just the beginning
Lol, you spoke too soon. See how it is falling down again. It is below $6,000 USD once again unfortunately. Though, you said people "will finally understand what crypto is capable of". What you actually mean by this. What has the price to do with people realizing the usefulness of crypto currencies? We don't want people in the community who are here just for the profits. Those who realize the benefits and usefulness of crypto currencies will appreciate it no matter what the price is.
