3401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 21, 2022, 06:55:18 PM
Since crypto market is well known for being unpredictable, we can say crypto trading is totally about gambling, at least on short run.

There are no possible analyzes to lead us to a conclusion if bitcoin is going to rise of fall today or in one week or in one month and even in one year. You have to make a guess and pray that it is the right one.

On long term, however, we start having elements to build a conscious and functional prediction, therefore we don't have to rely on luck exclusively anymore, but on facts, events and concepts surrounding us and bitcoin (which drives this market in every directions).

So, if you are going to trade, make sure you are going to do this thinking in long time periods. This way you will stop gambling and will start trading for real.
3402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: October 21, 2022, 05:58:49 PM
Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?
Yes, exchanges are a very important factor for adopters to have access to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. Without them, most people couldn't invest in bitcoin, because they don't have other adopters around them to trade person to person. Exchanges also guarantee a protection for investors when dealing with crypto, as by operating at a legit platform you won't be scammed when selling or buying crypto. The history of your negotiations is stored there and you have access to real time market prices. On the other hand, when you trade person to person with strangers you are under risk of not receiving your money or being exploited by them, that is, when they don't pay the fair price for your coins or don't respect the real time quotation of bitcoin price. Exchanges are a great didactic introduction to crypto universe, without any doubts.
3403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 21, 2022, 04:44:28 PM
I wasn't aware about these cases where casinos punished users for farming the faucet, but if it's a concern of casinos they shouldn't allow gamblers to claim from faucet in case their balance is superior to, let's say, 100 satoshis or shouldn't even let them claim from the faucet if they have at least 1 satoshi on their balance.
This way it's not possible for gamblers to farm free money from casinos' faucets in a regular basis, therefore casinos' managers won't have to create any issues with gamblers regards this matter.
3404  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best thing to do if this happens on: October 21, 2022, 03:02:00 PM
First step is to always contact support through live chat or email. This way they will have to justify the reason why the payment was denied. Right after, you can appeal to make them revert the decision and finally allow the withdrawal.

If they don't present a good reason to deny the payment or if they simple refuse to reply your message, you can bring all the collected evidences so far to this forum, creating a thread at the respective forum section (scam accusations).

You can also register a complain at local sites from your country where people post their reviews about companies they deal with. There is a very efficient one here in my country where every companies immediately reply and solve the issue when quoted by customers. There must be something like this for your country as well.
3405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream crypto adoption on: October 20, 2022, 08:32:37 PM
This is an attempt to discredit bitcoin and push altcoins to replace it in the future, under the excuse of being environmentally friendly, while in fact we know what centralized organizations like EU wants is to have control over the financial global system.

I believe we don't need more altcoins, there are too many already. And the most important cryptocurrency among all, that is bitcoin, already supplies the necessities of individuals who want to leave the traditional financial system with all their funds or a part of it.
3406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 20, 2022, 07:14:10 PM
Elon Musk has already worked to crash bitcoin price in the past, so nobody should expect he is going to work to impact bitcoin positively, because everything he aims is his self promotion and welfare, even if he has to destroy everything around to achieve it.

On the other hand, he might want to take advantage of bitcoin at some point again, then there is a possible scenario where he may try to promote bitcoin by integrating it to the twitter platform for tips among users, although for now it is very unlikely. There are higher chances he introduces dogecoin instead, although it is also a speculation from enthusiasts at this point.

Anyway, don't put any hopes, expectations and tokens on Musk. He is a treacherous individual.
3407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 20, 2022, 06:02:35 PM
If implemented, I think this feature can boost dogecoin price considerably. As we can see, twitter is a strong political social media where every sides fight daily battles rising hashtags and influence to show they are the strongest side of the battlefield that is twitter or their country or even the world. With doge tips, these political movements can boost their results on the social media tipping their followers in real time while remaining relatively anonymous. I just think not every countries would allow this to happen for their respective citizens who use the platform. Probably this feature would be restricted to few countries only.
3408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 Bitcoin Halving - What are Your Expectations!!! on: October 20, 2022, 04:46:01 PM
It will be like other halving: because less Bitcoins are being generated, its value will increase.

However, I do not know if the value will increase as much as in the past since we will probably in a cycle of rising interest rates.

Technically, Bitcoin's price should increase with every block reward halving. But if the global economy is in a recession, you cannot expect things to get better anytime soon. I don't think central banks will keep rising interest rates forever, especially when currencies aren't meant to be deflationary. This is only a temporary measure to help control inflation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war. After this is over, we can expect Bitcoin to reach a new All-time-high in price.

If you're smart enough, you'd buy as much Bitcoin as you can while the market is bearish. By taking advantage of this opportunity, you will increase your chance of becoming a wealthy person within the not-so-distant future. Who knows what 2024 holds for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on the market? Just my opinion Smiley
I agree with your statement. One of the key points of next bitcoin halving is going to be the decay of fiat currencies, since the high interest rates being paid right now over those currencies is going to have a negative impact on the value and purchasing power of fiat in some years. It must coincide with bitcoin halving in 2024, leading more investors to buy bitcoins, launching a boosted bull run which must put btc price in an inedit position by 2025.

I expect at least 100,000$ ATH, but this time I'm not going to wait btc hit round numbers... A stagnant 99,000$ would be already a strong signal the roof has been touched.
3409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would the world be if Bitcoin wasn't created on: October 20, 2022, 03:34:59 AM
Well, we can simply look at our situations individually. Then for sure that many would be stucked to what they've been used to be like not being financial educated.

Bitcoin has been one of the push for those that are not aware of their financial status. And if we go back to our former lives, then it would hard for most that didn't see the innovation and the contributions of bitcoin made to our lives.
Thinking on the individuals who changed their lives or are able to keep surviving due to bitcoin income, I imagine they would be in serious financial conditions if bitcoin didn't exist. They may not represent a lot in percentage when compared to the whole world's population, but the impact does exist on the individual sphere and also for every other professionals and businessmen who supply products and services to these adopters, since they raise their profit through these individuals who embraced bitcoin.

But I can't deny I would love to drive this lambo around and visit different cities with this amazing vehicle.

If he holds the BTC and waits, he'll eventually get both Lambo and BTC Smiley
True. Cheesy

And maybe all of us will also be able to purchase a lambo someday as well with our holdings, once bitcoin skyrockets to the moon in some years from now. Who knows, it could become reality on the next bull run... It is said that there is no harm in dreaming. Grin

Congrats, @soslex, the lover of cold drinks of water on hot days! Enjoy them in your Lambo! Smiley

Damn, did he actually win a lambo ? If that's true it would be really amazing to see a picture of the lambo when it arrives.
Congratulations to him! I was going to say the same thing: it would be nice if he could share a picture of his prize (if he chooses to receive the lambo instead of btc) on the forum once he receives it. Many enthusiasts of freebitco.in want to see the lambo for real.

It's hard to say what I would do if I were in his place. I think I'd probably go for the 11 BTC instead of a Lamborghini. It's a easier to deliver, and the price of Bitcoin is so low that it's expected that this reward will be worth significantly more in the future.
I would feel really tempted to get the lambo, but you are right. Receiving the prize in btc is much simpler and more profitable.

Vehicles lose value as the time goes by and they get damaged and worn, moreover you have to take care of it very well storing in a safe place (some people don't have a garage), you also have to pay annual taxes to your government over your vehicle and the more luxurious it is, the more expensive the tax is going to be. I don't know if importation taxes have to be paid by the winner as well, but if so it is another cons when picking the lambo.

But I can't deny I would love to drive this lambo around and visit different cities with this amazing vehicle.

3413  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: October 19, 2022, 04:15:29 PM
Hey here. I want to try myself in casino playing, but I am really afraid of being scammed. Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..
I hope you are aware that by losing money gambling doesn't exactly mean you are being scammed by the casino. You can play at several trusted casinos mentioned and recommended here, but the chance you can lose huge amounts of money you saved for a long time continues being a serious possibility because you don't play from equal to equal against casinos. They have a slight advantage against players which make total difference the longer you play. Gamble at your own risk, be aware about the possible consequences and outcomes of your acts before you start playing. Don't use life savings to gamble.
3414  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: October 19, 2022, 03:55:35 PM
I think people should try to cultivate more of their own produce to make up for some of the rise in inflation. I have seen several documentaries where the roof top of buildings are used to cultivate food. (lettuce / Tomatoes / Onions etc..) and also a small herb garden.

A lot of people have houses with a large garden, but they do not plant any edible plants or fruit trees. You have the soil and you have water.... why not use that to it's bets potential. We have small informal markets for people to sell their produce and/or trade with other people.  Wink
Yes, people use plastic PVC pipes to cultivate different crops which can be produced through the system of hydroponics, that is to cultivate only using water and nutrients you deposit on it, not being necessary earth.

This kind of production can be done vertically as well on the walls of your garden or leisure area. Most common production I've seen is lettuce, but it is possible to grow other kinds of vegetables as well, and even fruits, I think, like strawberries.

However, I'm not sure sure how profitable it is. It will depend on the costs of food in your local area. Nutrients can be expensive to execute this kind of agriculture, so it must be taken in consideration.
3415  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: October 18, 2022, 10:01:40 PM
Corruption should be fought at home, by parents when teaching their kids since a very early age. When you see students stealing money that should be used for the benefit of the whole school, you can expect these people didn't have positive examples at home since they were younger. Actually, there are parents who teach their kids to take advantage of situations they occasionally find themselves in life.

Moreover, corruption is part of our socities and it is seem by many, if not by the most, as something trivial and that we must live within in order to thrive socially and financially, although they aren't going to state such things publicly.

That is a very sad reality which push me aside from society because I don't want to be part of this system.
3416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: October 18, 2022, 06:57:02 PM
I have been very busy which makes me not to post this very early as it was last week news. Just that it is still very much worth it to post this.

More than 30% of Canadians plan to purchase crypto by 2024, says OSC head

Some people said a period of time will shock people when the price of bitcoin will no more rise using the 4 years cycle. Some even said that bitcoin market is matured already that this bull run trends may not become possible by 2024. But the good news is, you should still believe in bitcoin, it will not disappoint you in the next cycle.

According to Ontario Securities Commission head, the chief executive officer, Grant Vingoe, he said that they know from their research that 30% of Canadians are willing to invest in crypto asset by 2024.

Quote
“We know from our own research (being published later this month) that more than 30 per cent of Canadians plan to buy crypto assets in the next year [...] It is a challenge to bar non-compliant firms from offering services in Canada. With a limited budget and finite Enforcement staff to cover our entire capital markets, there is only so much we can do. But we are making progress.”

I believe if this kind of research is conducted in many other countries, more people will want to invest in crypto by 2024. And what should we expect by that time and 2025? Bull run.
Bitcoin has gone viral this year  a lot of people have invested and many more are still investing even with zero knowledge about trading or basic knowledge on bitcoin most people who are not experienced in trading are always worried and are likely to sell off their coin due to the price instead of taking advantage of buying more and holding onto the one you have accumulated already once you have made up your mind to go into bitcoin you must be very patient not to sell but to hold, in situations like this the best thing is just learn to manage risk and ask questions if their any challenges as beginners.
Bitcoin went viral last year, while this year the market is pretty stagnant and boring... There isn't new money coming into crypto market and the only thing investors are doing right now is to maintain the price inside the 19,000$ zone and I believe they are doing this to not discourage and decrease the morale of potential investors even more than they are already disturbed by the currently crypto market's bearish conditions.

I don't know how long it is still going to take until the tendency can be reverted, but we need reinforcements faster as posdible, otherwise bitcoin is going to lose more territories (volume) yet.
3417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another example is how greed destroy crypto investors. on: October 18, 2022, 06:01:54 PM
It works just like the 'crash' game at casinos. You keep seeing your multiplier going up, but become too greedy to leave before the game crashes, until it finally crashes and you lose your entire bet because you wanted a bigger slice of the cake. Altcoins' market is an advanced crash game. You can make some profit on short run, but the more you 'play', more likely it is going to be you are going to hit a deep loss.

The proposal of an altcoin must be analyzed very well before investing. If you rely only on speculative profit through trading with pump and dump, it's not a good investment at all.
3418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 18, 2022, 04:30:27 PM
It can be said that, in 2018 the price dropped by around 60% but currently there are many top coins such as ETH, BNB, XRP and so on which have dropped more than 70%, bitcoin has also dropped more than 70% and currently market conditions do not show signs of recovery .
I still think 2018's market was worse than the currently one. Even though percentual losses are similar, we still have bitcoin price near 19,000$-20,000$, while in 2018 it dropped to 3000$.

On the other hand, we have some very impactful negative events inside crypto universe this time, like Luna, Celsius and other lending platforms' scams, being vastly reported by traditional media in key countries, especially US.

2022 may enter the history as a year of losses for investors due to the natural market's fluctuations, but also due to the many scams ran by big names of the industry who were considered trustworthy by many enthusiasts.
3419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 11:11:25 PM
The point when hiring celebrities to advertise casinos isn't to make people copy their steps, but to make the public of that celebrity  become aware about the specific casino brand being advertised. So people who enjoy gambling (despite the celebrity betting or not), will have that alternative in mind when they want to play. Other fans who don't have interest for gambling will continue not having interest for gambling, while still enjoying the celebrity on the internet, unless they have some self-confidence issues which lead them to do what others are doing for acceptance inside a social group.

You can read the review of FreeBitcoin Sportsbook here: http://sportstatist.com/freebitcoin-review/

Just read your short review and you need to relook at some facts. For example, there is no livechat available. With the premium membership that they have by buying FUN tokens they offer some kind of vip membership.
Live chat I don't know exactly what the last chance is all about casino gambling or any platform so if we don't have life chat does it mean that there is no means or will somebody can communicate with his the platform because before live chat is being introduced there's another place they will communicate to the customers I think like that
You can still communicate with the support sending a message through email or by contacting them on this thread or sending a private message to @TheQuin.

Freebitco.in doesn't invest in live chat, but as far as I know it has never prevented them from running smoothly for all these long years since 2013, when the platform was launched.
