3401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 14, 2020, 10:01:14 PM

That's why I said Phoenix should market some players, mainly for Center position. Looking at their lineup, they are lacking players that can hold the inside offense and defense.

Unfortunately it's hard to find good a good center in the PBA.

SMB, Ginebra, and Northport, they all have good centers, but the other teams, centers are not tall and not so athletic.
I am not familiar with the newly drafted players, but if they can get some talent to help their inside, maybe that would help for their team to improve.

Honestly I like Phoenix as they are a defensive oriented team, but they just lack something.

Maybe if they'll be able to sign Kai sotto ahahaha.. Kidding aside, Phoenix needs  additional ace players if they are really aiming

to win a title, if they continue having same squad the chance  to snatch one is too slim.

Kai Sotto will be playing in the NBA as the first Filipino NBA player, let us not drag him to the PBA mate, haha...

Let's not include Kai in the discussion yet as he has not failed his journey yet and I'm optimistic he will make it, and let's just put it this way, if Kai will get drafted, he will not go to the Phoenix, he will go to the shittiest team in the PBA.

Hopefully Abueva's presence plus additional stars will let them to win and
add to the list of champions.

Abueva is gonna come back soon, ,but where do we find these other stars? Smiley Smiley

I suppose it depends on your perspective but if a casino takes a portion of your bets to me that is the house edge,

Per definition, that could be a house edge too, but you can prevent from paying the juice if you bet on a team with odds at least +100 or higher.

Juice (or vigorish) in sports betting is the house’s greatest edge, and it’s what prevents the vast majority of bettors from becoming long-term winners.
3403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 14, 2020, 09:14:18 PM
Portland is in a better mood right now, they always had a chance but they also played insanely well during this period, I don't know how long CJ will be out but if they can handle themselves until he comes back, we are talking about the new style Melo and the MVP level player Dame with the second best player on the team coming back, they are definitely going to be a big threat to any team they face.

CJ did not rest despite of the injury, he understand that the spot in the playoffs is very important so he keeps playing.

Blazers' C.J. McCollum has played last three games with fracture in lower back, per report

Also played against the Nets, even played 43 minutes.

Grizzlies on the other hand have been horrible in the bubble, the only reason why they went to play in is the fact that they were far ahead of everyone else before the bubble, after the bubble they even lost their 8th seed with all that lead. I think Blazers will win the first game and send Grizz back home without delaying it too much. Lakers vs Blazers will be a good matchup as well.

That's what the public is thinking, Blazers are hot, Grizz are tanking and they need to beat the Blazers twice to advance.
3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Like to hear what crypto sportsbook you are using? on: August 14, 2020, 01:27:24 PM
I just like to give you an update. One of our popular dice sites in the forum which is Bitsler are now integrating a sportsbook in their platform.

you can check their thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.msg54994035#msg54994035, and that's my post over there.

3405  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: August 14, 2020, 12:58:07 PM
So Bitsler is now having sportsbook? Just realized about it after looking at the telegram channel.

I was also surprise, reading the thread title was changed, looks like dice sites are now slowly integrating sportsbook on their platform.

I just explored the site now, it's confirmed, I can see the sportsbook added.

https://www.bitsler.com/en/sports

I found the NBA, liked it, https://www.bitsler.com/en/sports/basketball/usa/nba/season-68176-nba-19-20

edit : odds are competitive with other sites as well.
3406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 14, 2020, 12:37:00 PM
I don't  know about the rules but looking at the record it is really unfair for the Suns.

I was also curious why the it's the Memphis who will play the Blazers when they are tied with the Suns.
Don't know if there's a specific rule about that to clear our mind here, lol.

So this article says.  https://nba.nbcsports.com/2020/08/13/memphis-advances-to-play-in-phoenix-goes-perfect-8-0-but-needs-help-to-join-them/

Quote
A lot of fans had hoped to see Booker and the electric Suns in the play-in game, but in the NBA winning games matters — and not just the last eight in the bubble. All of them. The Suns didn’t do enough of that before the coronavirus shut down the NBA for four months.

The Grizzlies did, so they advance.

Maybe they based on the standing before the bubble, Grizzlies had the better standing because if Blazers lose, it could be the Memphis and the Suns who will play.
3407  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 14, 2020, 11:49:59 AM

Hindi naman based on my experience, at anong account review ang ibig mong sabihin, balik mo bang mag pa verify to a higher level, or you mean a possible investigation on your account?
3408  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA Weekly Competition - 0.001 btc entry fee. on: August 14, 2020, 11:40:46 AM
So baka may naiisip pa kayong iba.

How about if we will use XRP and move/make a thread in the altcoins section para hindi ma-delete ng Mod ang prediction contest natin?

3410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: August 13, 2020, 11:01:16 AM
We cannot force those mindset of other people the best thing to do is be careful follow the protocol and wear a face mask when visiting a casino.

Though it is really annoying.

Not just because they are not following the protocols for them to be safe but also because they are risking these casinos since some people are actually suing casinos saying they are not following the protocols and not taking care of their costumers. That just means that also the workers of the said casinos will be affected by those.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266943.0

I read that thread, getting sued is normal as they can't control the minds of the people, and I think they have already expected that kind of possibilities and have prepared for it, and if they follow all those required to be implemented by the authorities, there's nothing to fear if they get sued.

Mas challenging to kasi malapit na Playoffs.

Game ako diyan, sana marami pang mag post dito, so far, 4 na tayo.
3412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: August 12, 2020, 10:52:21 PM
The ball is really on the part of Lopez's camp here. I don't know how 'experience' his manager is, but they shouldn't let ego and greediness takes over, because this is a good opportunity for Teofimo to show case his talent against the best in Loma. And for once, don't think about the money.  Sad

Winning this fight makes him better than Loma, therefore he can demand good offers in his next fight when depending the belt.
I don't know what's going on to their mind, they are given the opportunity but they are acting like they are the one making this fight interesting.
The kind has a potential, but the kind of attitude will not make him last in this boxing business.

I can't say that this will be an easy fight for Lomachenko, in boxing you should not underestimate your opponent even if you have more experience to
them because a young boxer will surely to do his best so he can create the best record in his career.

But I can see that Lomachenko will get the better odds for this upcoming fight if it will likely to happen and there will be no problem that will occur
to this match up.

Lomachenko is the favorite here, he got a better odds of winning but Lopez got better odds for betting.

Both fighters are really fun to watch, this should not be a boring fight I believe.
3413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 12, 2020, 10:20:57 PM

AFAIK Tenshin Nasukawa wasn't a boxer but a (great) kickboxer.

Yeah, Floyd stop fighting boxers when he retires, he fought Conor McGregor and made easy money, both games he made millions of dollars for an effortless fight. I'm wondering why boxing fans are still supporting him, giving that big paycheck for just an exhibition when he is not fighting real boxers.

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior now, then maybe next, Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather, Jr..
3414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 12, 2020, 09:55:23 PM

Im not really that convinced that this one will affect in talks of MVP.  Cool

If it will affect, it might affect a bit.

According to the article I read, it's more on the statistics, there's no attitude in the court being stated to evaluate a player's qualification to become an MVP.

3415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 12, 2020, 12:49:20 PM
The PBA can become more popular and it can patronize by a lot of people if the system will be changed where there will be a major developments and improvements all over the league.

Like what? can you cite an example?

I think we have already seen everything the PBA can offer, it's just up to the fans if they will love the PBA or not.
IMO, this is the most popular PBA league in the Philippines, next is NCAA or the MPBL, but PBA is like the NBA in USA.

Of course they need to improve if there's a need to, but I don't know what they have to improve, so it's hard to find something that they can't offer at the moment. You are correct that we can't compare PBA to NBA as their not even close, PBA is just watch by most Filipinos but NBA is watched all over the world.
3416  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA Weekly Competition - 0.001 btc entry fee. on: August 12, 2020, 12:29:00 PM
@Russlenat, thank you for replying in this thread, yes, you can always count me it, I'm very much interested to join this competition.
I agree with you that we need at least 10 participants so it would have an interesting price, however, I don't know if people can afford to register 0.001 btc per week or worth 500 php in our money, you know we are in crisis now, but I hope we can at least reach the minimum target.
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 11, 2020, 11:19:47 AM
^^ On the contrary, I thought that they are moving to a new date because they think it can generate more money. But it doesn't matter I guess, was wondering if this is Tyson vs Holyfield, for me it will create more hype than Jones. We really don't know why the supposedly fight with Holyfield fell out, but for sure it will be more intriguing and more interesting.

That was the first announcement, actually people got hyped wit that, but I think this fight would still be a success because Mike is always the man for most boxer as they love how Mike Tyson fight. They don't need to move the date since this will only be good for PPV, no crowd so they can held it anywhere as long as players and some people inside the venue is safe.
3418  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 11, 2020, 10:38:38 AM

3419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 10, 2020, 08:44:37 AM
I'll doubt this time if he can get both of those awards, but who knows? I think Giannis has a chance to get those and possibilities are always endless. I can vouch for the MVP award but DPOY, I think it will goes to Jabbar-Davis, just LBJ's new nickname.

With his performance, it's not far that he will get that award, but the big award is winning the NBA Finals and getting the Finals MVP, and IMO, only great players do that like Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Kevin Durant, Giannis badly need that kind of award.
3420  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 10, 2020, 08:10:32 AM

Let's just be positive that in the long run everything will be back to normal. Seeing the NBA back in action is a good sight, para gumaan naman pakiramdam natin at hindi lang lahat tungkol sa COVID ang nakikita natin sa tv.

Agree kabayan, mabuti nga nagbalik pa sila kahit ang taas ang covid-19 rate nila.
