The game between Chelsea and Bournemouth over the weekend exposed the fact that Chelsea lack finishing even tho they have players who were capable of giving them good finish but sadly they don't have the coordination enough to get the players to perform maximally in that capacity. I expected Chelsea to secure a victory in that game but sadly I was disappointed as they played poorly and drew the game.

Chelsea's game play when placed side by side with that of Aston villa it's obvious Chelsea do not have a better play, Chelsea needs to be more organized as they seem otherwise to me. judging from the game against Bournemouth over the weekend. Aston villa on the other had have a better play but I don't think it's good enough to be contenders with Chelsea or other bigger EPL teams.

The caliber of players in Chelsea are good beyond classifying them as amateur, they only had some mismatch in technicalities which if fixed they can do better beyond the view of amateur, although the season is still fresh they still have time to change the game and give the team a redeeming image that will be celebrated by fans and the team it self.

Barcelona had an unequal contender so the win was definitely one that was expected of them and nothing less, it was really an easy one for them and they made good use of the opportunity as it did avail itself, never the less I'm in good anticipation of Barcelona taking on a bigger team let's see how their performance would turn out.

Felix displayed a high level of competency with an excellent performance which made him stand out proving that the loan was worth it, he had an awesome debut. I feel like it was more of a dream come true for Felix and he made use of the privilege given him to prove him self deserving of the opportunity, we look forward to more outstanding performance from Felix through out his stay in Barcelona.

Madrid have a stronger opponent as compared to Antwerp contending with Barcelona. Nevertheless they may seem to have some weakness which may make them seem unmatched for Madrid at the moment but then  I'm optimistic that they will try their best to perform within their capacity, but one thing is very Sure and that is the fact the it's not going to be an easy game for Madrid regardless of their said weakness.

Today is the second day of the UCL and Manchester united will be meeting with Bayern Munich, It’s the first time they’ve been placed in the same group since 2001, and this is a stage Bayern usually excel in, as they’ve won each of their last 25 UCL home group stage matches. Bayern is at advantage the more because they are home and Manchester united appears weak.

Thomas Tuchel will be tasked with extending against an opposition they’ve never lost to on home soil, mean while Erik Ten Hag has a team that is not in their best of form at the moment and may likely loose or get a draw as they have never won Bayern at home on all their meetings in the UCL, the last time they met in the UCL Manchester united crashed out with a loss of 3-1 in favour of Bayern Munich.

Hopefully this is an opportunity for Manchester united to show they can still be trusted to have a good play, especially owing to the fact that they have had a terrible records since the beginning of the season. United have lost three of their first five Premier League matches for the first time in the competition’s, the fans are just hopeful things change for the better in the nearest future.

Real Madrid has been at the top of their game since the beginning of the league and I don't see that as been too serious rather I see it as utilizing opportunities because a good start may be of great help later in the future, it could cover up for some mistakes if any arises, so I will say Madrid is doing their best and they should continue in that spirit maybe the could cling the league title.

However it's clear that Barcelona is not sleeping on wanting to be champions of the league this season as they are also not doing bad, their last two game they had a fair performance even in the UCL they had an excellent performance as well which looks very promising on their side, expectations are high already I just hope the don't fail all who are already seeing them to be doing well.

The league title I think will be between Barcelona and Madrid to contend as they are at the moment the teams with the most outstanding performance in the league so far and over the years they have good track records to reckon with, but then let's watch to see who will make it to the top and cling onto the league title amongst this two giants.

Newcastle didn't play impressively, it was more defense oriented, I know considering it a fair play wouldn't be bad considering it's their first game ever since after decades of not playing in the UCL, but then they should have given no chance to the fact that it's a first time after a very long time, it should have been seen as a privilege and utilizing it to it's maximum would have been a better option to explore.

Going by stats it's true they conceded no goal but they had less to almost no shots on target, same as their possession. So how else would you say their performance was not poor enough to be considered as one. Managing to draw was a fair one at least it earned them a point, which can be considered fair for a start but if Newcastle should continue with this style of play I don't see them going far enough

I will say they only did their best but it wasn't good enough to be seen as a good play, although they still have room enough for improvement and make this first time after a very long while worth it. I hope to see Newcastle with a better performance in subsequent games and hope the really do go far in the champion's league and probably make their appearance a good one.

It may seem to you as tho AC Milan isn't in a bad form but they aren't in their best either, with the likes of giroud and others been present there it's expected they should be performing well above average, not to think of the fact that they concede five goals, it's really worthy of consideration as this has also led to a drop in their point and position on the league table and this is something that can't be overlooked.

Definitely saying AC Milan is in danger wouldn't be wholesomely wrong but then it will be fair to say they are in what can be classified as mild danger, although they have experienced a drop in morale resulting from this loss they suffered over the weekend, I think it also had a role to play in their draw in the UCL debut, so you understand why we can say some level of danger is ahead.

Nevertheless AC Milan can still make up for it if only they can secure a win in their next game, it will give a good boost and help them get over the loss quick enough not to allow it affect their approach to games in the nearest future. But then Newcastle wasn't a weak team either, AC Milan had more chance than they did because I feel they made their play more defensive.

I can't agree any less as all which you have said here are just true fact and
can as well be seen as the obvious. Information is key as the media will always want information because be it good or bad they are going to make money out of it and that's what matters the most to the media at the end of the day, they always want to stay relevant in their space and one means to stay relevant for the media is getting more information regardless of what it is.

The media will stop at nothing to get every possible information to maintain and gain even more traffic. ETH should know better and try every possible means to avoid the release of too much information than necessary to the media, cautioning player to follow suit aswell will be a good idea. Dress room talks especially one's with some level of negativity should stay within the team and in the dress room.

The owners of the team sometimes seem to interfere much more than needed in the affairs of the club, this can be seen in some cases where they may want to make choices of players without much concerns as to if the coach approves of it, I think it's of utmost importance that the coach be given some level of independence especially when it has to do with choice of players because he will be the one to work with them most of the times.

I will want to say you rightly stated the obvious, a good coach is not all a team requires to win a league title or let's say a trophy maybe. it's usually a collective effort from both players, coach and the team management as well because the coach will only provide the team(player's) with the needed tactics and formation to play with, while the player will be the ones on the pitch to play the game even tho the coach will be doing his job from the side of the pitch aswell.

Another factor that plays out in the success of a team is the relationship between the head coach and the players, and obviously Xabi Alonso is giving his best at that, it's said that the relationship between Xabi Alonso and his players is mostly a cordial and friendly one as this will keep the players at ease and willing to give their very best as they have no resentments.

It's sad how if a team is not performing very well the coach seem to take all the blame but the it's worthy of noting that not in every situation the coach should take all the blame, the players aswell and the management too aswell have a fair share of the blame as if a team have injured players that coach cannot be solely blamed for that, same as when the team is managed poorly by the management, in situations where they refuse to release funds for the coach to make good purchase of new players I don't think he should be blamed solely if the teams performance drops as a result.

I don't think Barcelona managed to win the game as their performance was deserving of a win, they earned every of the points they got although it was obviously an easy one as they had a week opponent who didn't give them a hard time wining, but it doesn't sound very ok to say they managed to get maximum point from that game, it was a good one for a UCL opening.

Felix proved him self worthy of been given a chance to play especially at the UCL opening wasn't a wrong but right choice as he did performed really well, he was well noticed and he showed much strength and resilience, if he continues in that spirit he will soon earn a permanent spot and will most likely be featured in every game Barcelona will be playing next.

Barcelona I think will make it far in the UCL as they appear to be very prepared and ready for any thing ahead of them, with the likes of Felix and his other team mates every game will definitely take a different shape which will be mostly aimed at victory. I hope to see Barcelona at their very best both in the UCL and the la Liga. I wish it were possible to bring back the glorious days of Barcelona.

The loss to inter Milan by AC Milan did affected their mentality as it was a huge one which could not be allowed to slide, it did played out in their style of play suggesting they are yet to fully recover from it, I think like you rightly said a win to boost their mentality is very much needed, as it will really go a long way to improve their performance in subsequent games , this is what the coach should note.

In the UCL game they had a good opponent so I wasn't expecting much considering that they are also seen as an average team in their league. UCL is a league which should be approached with a different style as you encounter people from different leagues where they are said to be champions and they also put out only their best of which if you approach with a regular style of play it may not be rewarding.

Newcastle has not been in the UCL for a long period of time so I don't expect them to mess things up, they obviously want to make the best use of this privilege after over a decade of been absent in the league, but then AC Milan didn't put up a really bad performance at the UCL opening, I am very optimistic they might perform better in their subsequent UCL games.

Indeed sir Alex achieved a lot with the team when he was the head coach and the legacy is one which in a long time both fans and the management of the team shall forever remember as these were times when Manchester united do not only play good games but they also lift trophies almost every season and that kept the confidence high for the players, coach and fans at large.

This off course are the kind of days the fans want back because the team earns the support of the fans by winning games and giving the fans that confidence that they are deserving of every support given them and off course this has exacted pressure on the team, which includes both players and the coach, which we know no coach wants such for his team.

The crisis faced by the team most recently especially as it has to do with scandal from players I think have a great effect on the team as the players concerned are not players the team could really do without,  I think ETH is trying his possible best to get the team back on track but then it seems his best is not good enough as the fans wants more of a result oriented game outcome.

Usually in the french Ligue 1, PSG do have this so much dependency on mbappe such that in some cases he could be the sole determinant of the out come of the game if they were going to lose or win, and this have continued for as long as since the Ligue began and obviously it always shows in all their games, and in his absence the team usually seem not to be able to perform optimally.

But in this their opening champions league game they showed less dependence on him which I must say is the right step in the right direction, because that will take the pressure off him and aswell putting only but little focus on him from any of their opponent hence giving him space enough to utilize opportunities when they avail themselves.

The first half of the game was boring no doubts but then they had a good team to contend with so it could be possible they used the first half to get to know their opponent on the pitch and probably get a better style of play to use against them, this was evident in the second half as the game changed and they secured a victory going home with a complete point, I must say congratulations to them, I hope they put up a better performance in their next game.

Barcelona has started on a very good note I must say as they not only performed well they also secured a lot of goals for themselves which could be useful in the future just should Incase the need arises, it was an easy game for them tho and they did capitalized on it to keep themselves ahead in the game which can be considered a good move.

But then Barcelona should not sleep on this win as this is just the beginning they have bigger task ahead to face especially if they make it to the round of sixteen then they would have to brace up even more as at that stage they will be meeting matching contenders which any mistake will cost them the league even tho I don't see them lifting the trophy but a good play to reach quarter finals wouldn't be a bad idea.

In the mean time congratulations to Barcelona for securing a win along side three points, a good way to begin, probably an edge that can be utilized for their journey through the league. Barcelona also have their coach doing a great job aswell, I will say together with the team they should keep up the good work and make sure give room for improvement as they have bigger task ahead.

Barcelona seem to be having it very easy with this game a as they were able to secure a win of three goals ahead in the first half of the game, it's obviously going to be a very easy Start for them, it can be considered a win brought to them on a platter of gold, it's a good head up for Barcelona as they will safely secure three points to night to keep them a step ahead in their forth coming games.

It's not surprising Antwerp is performing poorly as Barcelona is no match for them I will advise they use this medium to gather more experience for future games ahead, the Spanish side is leaving no stone unturned tonight to get a flawless victory because it's champion's league and every game count's to determine if you still stay or crash out of the league.

I must say Barcelona is performing as expected of them but when they eventually meet with a tougher team who has champions league experience, it's sure not going to be this was as they will have to do see more work at that time if they must win. Antwerp will be lucky if they are able to qualify for the round of 16 of course am not expecting them to get there with results but then I wish them the very best of luck.

It's the first half of the game between Manchester city and crvena and so far it's been an electrifying moment. As man city dominates with possession and the ball seems to stay too long at the goal post of crvena, although we weren't expecting any less of man city so I would say they are playing within expectations. Crevena seem to have a good defense as all efforts by man city to penetrate has been blocked or saved.

The keeper on the other hand seem to have vowed to keep a clean sheet in this game as he has an outstanding performance so far with fantastic saves which I will say was least expected of him because he is been faced by a good team, it was expected that at most by the 40th minute of the first half mancity should be leading but then the keeper seem too prepared for that.

Wow what a surprise as crvena just scored a goal, wow this is far more than unbelievable as the first half just ended with Manchester city a goal down, tho mancity has a good play but a counter attack is something you can never predict, I still believe mancity will get a comeback as crevena is not a good enough team to really contend but then I must say the tried and became lucky with the first half. Let's see how the second half play out.

You are very correct to say Leverkusen does not match Munich in strength, Yes they may be showing some brilliant performance recently which is very commendable and worth considering as growth on the side of Leverkusen but it's not enough to jump into conclusion to say they now match strength with Munich as Munich is far more ahead of them.

Munich has maintained a status that would require a lot of hard work by Leverkusen to unseat them their position as the champion and giant of bundesliga over the years. Munich still have all it's players intact and inform let's not forget so quickly. Leverkusen tho if consistent with their performance in no time they may build a team good enough to contend with Munich.

But then I must say Leverkusen is doing great and its worth the applaud even tho they are yet to attain that height were they can be comfortably compared to the bigger boys in the league but hopefully they will get there soonest if consistency if maintained, but for now Munich remains undoubtedly the giant of the German bundesliga until they get a better contender.

Newcastle is not in their worst form either considering what have played out this far in the first half of this game. Newcastle seem to be affected by the fact that it's their first time after a long while they last featured in a champions league game. But undoubtedly Newcastle do have a draw down in their form of which AC Milan can capitalize on to secure a victory in this game.

New castle still have a chance at it as they are yet to concede a goal in the first half of the game, if only they could keep their opponent away from their defense line it's very possible to not concede a goal and probably draw the match because I'm not really seeing a victory for Newcastle in this game going by their style of play in this match and having their opponent dominating.

Ac Milan still have a good chance to secure a victory in this game they only need a break through the defense of their opponent this can be made possible through a very quick and smart counter attack on their opponent alongside a good convertion. Initially I was hoping Newcastle will do better because the are at ho regardless of the fact that the are not in their best of forms.

I wasn't expecting an entertaining football from the game between Verona and bologna because these two teams are not know for such and the fact that they don't really have some one in the team to bring us the entertainment even tho we know the sole aim is basically to win but entertainment is also part of the game as it gives the fans more drive to want to watch the match.

The game between AC Milan and the English team in the champions league will be a more entertaining match to watch as against that between Verona and bologna, as the league is different and the game is quite different with high expectations and fantasies, usually it's a pleasure to watch champions league as every moment comes with a different kind of energy that drives fans crazy.

It's true that  Newcastle has not been in the champion's league awhile but then you should also note that the English teams are more experienced with champion's league than others as the premier league which happens to be an English league shares some similarities with champion's league so Lazio should and cannot be too sure if that is enough advantage on it's side.

Lazio wil be meeting Atletico Madrid today as one of the opening games of the champions league, the match seem to have received less attention as I have seen only but a few speculations about the game. What could be the reason?? Are people not finding the both team interesting enough to discuss or they don't seem to give the champion's league fever enough to be considered?? What's your taughts??

But before you keep your taughts coming in, here is my little take, first I will start with going through some of their records so far as usual, Atletico Madrid just suffered a loss over the weekend, causing them to have a drop down on their league table and they will have to travel to meet Lazio in their home to play against them, this doesn't sound really good as home advantage could be used against them.

Lazio from their end is most likely to secure a win owing to the fact that the game will be played at olimpico their home, tho Lazio had a poor start this season, they have lost three of their four matches already but atletico Madrid is not posing so much of a treat to them as they have lapsis on their records aswell, Lazio's losses and poor performance may want to make someone think if they will be able to secure a win in this game against atletico but then let's keep our fingers crossed and see how it turns out

In as much as I agree with you I still want to look at it from the point that PSG is at home and that is an advantage to them even though the German side is not shaken by that but it still doesn't override the fact that it's an advantage which if utilized could earn them something, a win most likely but then I know the German side will not make it easy for the french Side.

Talking about the record's, PSG hasn't set a really good record recently in their league as they have won only two of their five matches played so far and conceding some goals aswell. Dortmund on the other hand have stayed unbeaten since the start of the league having played six games won four and drew two tho they conceded five times but their records still remains fair.

It's really going to be an entertaining game as the two European giants will meet tonight, predicting this match I think goals should be considered the most because I'm expecting to see some goals but can't determine who wins yet but in the meantime I will watch the game keeping an open mind to it so I can enjoy every feel that will come with each moment as I envisage an epic game.
