3401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red crypto market today on: June 14, 2021, 04:48:45 PM

so why many people panic when China make bullshit announcement every time, maybe you can see when bitcoin under $3000 China ever banned bitcoin but bitcoin keep going to higher price.

It's because of fomo and everyone isn't like us as many users are newly entered into this market within this bull run or they're not aware of those. That's why everyone's on panic to sell off so that they could secure the profits, even many of them didn't care about the losses. That's how the market works and those panic users are also buying today. As a result, bitcoin is pumping just like huge dumping.  Grin

Newcomers commit many mistakes along the way, but experienced will teach them how to treat this business,
those who sell at panic losses their investment, after that those who still considering this venue of investment
realize that the chance still there for them,

they are now starting to buy back and start bringing more money inside the market, Red and Green market are
normal it's up to every investors how to treat this opportunities in order not to be left behind from any market sentiments.
3402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: June 14, 2021, 04:06:32 PM
it could happen in the near future if the fomo or the market goes up and is in a bullish state again.
for now doge is stable at 0.3$ is quite good and can be said to be strong enough to withstand market conditions that are not good.
maybe 1$ is reached when btc reaches new ath too.
If bitcoin will break new records, then investing in a doge will not be the best idea. It seems to me that everyone has already played enough with this coin and understands that there can be no special development except for speculation.

Except for the hypes there's nothing left for them, those who played and got burned from this coin already learned  their lessons,

But we can't deny that there are still people who continue investing in hope that the direction of this asset will change up and favor their side, those who are  still waiting for $1,

Once bitcoin bounce back and the market start bringing the green signal, for sure pumped will take place and this coin will also in the list coming from those big whales who loves making more money from those investors who keeps investing with emotions.

3403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: June 14, 2021, 03:30:12 PM

No strategy that would guarantee you a win, gambling sites would easily adjust based on our fixed strategy, so as they adjust, we also have to change our strategy.
That's for real, gambling site knows how to adjust, there's no way that the system won't  detect any working strategy,

better to make sure that you know how to stop when there's already some decent profits from the strategy that you are working.

Quote
The Martingale system is an old system, it's still currently used but this is the riskiest strategy and would make gamblers with a lack of experience before very greedy until they regret in the end.

Still in use from those who believes that doubling your bets each tie you lose can fasten the recovery of your loss, unknowingly that the numbers of

losing streak is also unknown, not unless you have unlimited bankroll, that's the only thing that it will work surely.
3404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 14, 2021, 02:35:46 PM
I'll go the other way. I'm with Jazz here considering the homecourt advantage even though Mitchell might still have the trouble with his sprained ankle in Game 4.
I believe Clippers has the momentum but that maybe where they are bad at just like what happened with the Mavs.
Jazz ML. Over 221.5
Good luck with that, I love the over but I'm not so confident with the Jazz now.

Jazz needs to make the ball moving more, that's what is lacking in game 3.
When they are moving the ball well, they could increase their FG percentage because they have spread their shooters on the floor.

Once Jazz start moving the ball and keep finding the open man, the chance is much higher, knowing that they've got a lots of shooters,

Mitchell knows that he'll get every attention so passing it up and let his teammates to help him will give them the chance to win,

Over is also a good choice here, anticipating more on offensive from both teams they've got a very good percentage both on attacking the basket and hitting the rainbow arc.
3405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 14, 2021, 02:09:29 PM
Refs owned the broom so they decided to sweep it.  Grin Eject Jokic with flagrant 2? Wow! It's like killing the Nuggets team. I stopped watching after that. Kind of like a scripted scenery.
Flagrant 2 was a bit harsh and it was 1 at worse but to imply the game was rigged by the refs was uncalled for. Nuggets were already down at that point and Jokic was too careless. What was he thinking swinging down his arm like that?

Out of frustrations but looking from those replays, aside from that huge force that he put on it what we see are all ball,
it should not be that harsh, they can sit him for 5 mins but not to send him out for the rest of the game,

Nuggets is on the run before that flagrant and without their leading scorer to tower them up, the chance to recover from huge
lead is no longer possible.

Better luck next season, they already have a solid squad when Murray start playing with them. Rest for now Nuggets !
3406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 13, 2021, 05:04:11 PM
Who is selling? First those with weak hands and always panic when the market suddenly dump. Second are those who already gained profit and want to cash out their money and convert it into fiat money. Everyone are selling but depends on the situation and reasons why the sell. Supply and demands always present in the market, if there will be no seller definitely there's no buyer.

Oh better not to forget those big fat whales who loves shaking the market, they are the one who have influenced the most.

But yes, I agree with your statement, depends from how you see the situation and according to your needs. Keep in mind that this market will
always have this kind of rotations.

Selling pressures and being ride by people who understand the market and have seen golden opportunities to position their investment.
3407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: June 13, 2021, 03:58:53 PM

Addictions are scary, it always resulting in something regretful except for the other habits which are helpful like reading books and others. many people fell into this kind of problem where they always waste what consider to others as a huge opportunity. if people know the value of everything they know how to spend it well. whether it is their wealth, time, and health. But there's always be another chance to let go of those kinds of addictions if one has no one to talk to, they can consult someone who knows their current situations.

Thats why we need to determine what we do and spend our money with, some think their too rich or too lucky enough that they will not regret playing gambling. At the end of the day we are the one who makes decisions and being addicted is not a reason . We are the one who should move and decide on what are we going to do. The accessibility of gambling now doesnt mean that we need to put all our money in it.

It's all your responsibilities in every actions that you'll going to take, I agree to what your are implying.

Addictions is on the gamblers sides, you can avoid things to happened if you have a good plans before you engage to anything, gambling for sake of entertainment is good to relax out, but too much engagements and having a lots of time to spend plus the money, it will led you to addiction.

Regrets are the next thing that you'll see after losing huge amount of money, best to control or if possible never to proceed if you know to yourself that
you can't handle the pressure.
3408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 12, 2021, 03:08:33 PM
My thoughts on those points that leads a person towards commiting crime isn't that purely accountable towards economic conflict. It's by individual liability and couldn't be associated with government's interest, so as a citizen of a specific county we should be vigilant on those factors that leads gambling to several negative outcomes.

That's the problem once a person got addicted the mental capabilities is no longer balance,

and like how things turned into crimes or something that unexpected that a person will do.

It's an individual responsibilities that's needed to watch out, the government may look on it and
try to find suitable solution but it's more on the person itself.
3409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: June 12, 2021, 02:48:18 PM
Holders still hoping specially those who don't want to lose their money, there are investor who bought at high
who are not willing to give up,

they are still waiting that the value will bounce back and give them either break even or some decent compensation
after holding this coin.
What I find interesting is that those people are hoping that Musk is the one that rescues them from the position they are in when it was Musk the one that put them on that difficult position, the only way for doge to keep going up is if the bitcoin bull run resumes, something that fortunately for them I think it is likely, however we do not know if they are going to be smart enough to recognize this and sell at the appropriate time or if they will keep holding once we see yet another correction.

It's hard to decide if you bought this coin  when it's still on the peak, but you are right there
are still people/holders who believes that Musk will do something to cheer this coin up and hype it again,

but just like what you are saying, Musk is the one who move this coin and until today he's still doing he's stuff,
not good for someone who don't have enough reserves.

Anything is possible, just have to believe with your own knowledge instead of trying ride with Musk.
3410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 11, 2021, 01:40:52 PM
This could jeopardize the league since japan is so active taking some good players around the globe just to boost up their market and the popularity of their league.

And the league would not allow that, that's why they are so strict because they really don't give a big salary so the star players will just stay.  Living in the Philippines is really good but if a player is seeking bigger pay, they could have to sacrifice all that for bigger dreams.

Yeah thats why they made a decision not to allow Ravena since they now this could possibly start their problem since this could make the fans turn off for seeing him leaving the league. PBA now is kinds boring so if one of their star left they might get less viewer compared seeing him doing some good competitive basketball to other team in the league. Maybe Ravena should try again once his contrsct expires.

Good point, it will open up the opportunities for other superstar to consider such offer,
Japan have a good economy it's very easy for them to sign a good player all around the world.

PBA can do nothing if a certain players who already have an expired contract  consider the offer,
If they allow Ravena then it will start the chase from other teams who also have the same interest for Pinoy stars.

We will see the next page of this story after Ravena's contracts expired, let see if how interested he is playing along side with his bro!
3411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We are all gamblers. on: June 11, 2021, 01:21:25 PM
Heavy criticism always go the way of the man that everyone knows gambles with his money on sports betting, poker and the likes. But I am of the school of thought that  we are all gamblers  because we all gamble with something in this life.

CASE STUDY
Mr Smith and Mr Scott while smoking some cigarettes, talk about a certain Mr Z who they say cannot control his addiction to gamble with his money, forgetting that they are gamblers too, gambling  with their life. (lungs)

The Alcoholic saying thank God I don't smoke, I don't gamble, I don't womanise,  I only drink my alcohol should not think he is any better because he is also gambling with his life (kidneys).

The man and woman who know they don't love each other, but still are having unprotected sex are gamblers too, gambling with their future.

Even the man that says he has no vices (i.e doesn't smoke, drink, womanize or gamble with money) but only has time for his video games, movies and sports games is a gambler as well, gambling with his time.

You are right we are all gamblers but gambling in a casino is very much different from all the kind of gambling you've mentioned because if you have no control over gambling in casinos you can wipe out all your cash in one night, while those gambling with their lungs will take 5 to years before the symptoms into much smoking manifest, if you are gambling in a casino you can have your result in hours, while smokers can wait five years or more to lose his game and he can stop anytime beyond that.

Practically speaking  it's true that there's a wide difference between those example and casino gambling,

You'll lose everything in just split of an eye inside gambling games if you don't have any control with your emotion, you can yolo and lose everything

while with those mentioned situation, you can recover before it's too late, you have much longer time before things got worsen out, while with gambling games, a single mistake changed to your life within that particular day that you played.
3412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: June 11, 2021, 01:04:47 PM
Hello, I'm new here and I wanted to ask something I've been confused about for a few days.

I recently got into an altcoin (called startup boost token) and the devs are doxxed and presale LP locked, they claim to have live use case and all.

I want to know how I can determine / what kind of questions I should be asking to know if its a real 100x token? Any advice?
It is hard to detect scam, there are different ways of scamming and you need to be aware on it. Sometimes we need to search the project and the team behind it to make sure that it is legit. I prefer to invest on project that has a reputable team and the team that already handle a successful project before. To avoid scam invest in good altcoin example is eth, xrp, xlm, dogecoin, etc., because i believe that it is more safe to invest in old altcoin than new projects.

Investing with something that you already understand, it's better for you to research and work more in gaining knowledge
with the type of business that you are participating, projects that have use case and community support.

Assess well and not just blindly following those known people who give their opinions, scam are everywhere you can simply avoid
it by doing your own study.

Likewise, invest with solid project if you are still working with your knowledge, lesser risk for a while until you familiarized yourself with this type of investment.
3413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 11, 2021, 12:48:11 PM

Milwaukee Bucks almost choke on the game. They have a large lead entering the 2Q but didn't maintain it and the whole game becomes close from there.

I can't imagine the criticism for the Bucks if they lose on that game. They only have literally 2 players on the court lol.

Should serve this as a lesson to them and looking forward to adjustment on Game 4. I'm Bucks +1 here with a decent payout so I'm rooting to them to win at least 3 games even it's hard to imagine.
A nail biter moments, Middleton should really have a good game with Giannis, we all know he always put good numbers last season, he should average 25 at least with he's shooting, I hope tucker also make some adjustment in game 4 to score some baskets because he can score if he wants but what I like about him is his defense, but they really need to stop durant, this guy is on a mission for another ring.

Well said! Durant is on a mission clearing it's path to another title, he played big earlier and he really taking this into his shoulder.
A real superstar where you'll see the eagerness to win.

Defense over defense, a very slow scoring game between this two heavyweights in terms of making a basket,

I don't see much from Griffin and Harris and all those role players to help out Durant and Irving, they need to work it out and not to allow the Bucks to tied this series.

3414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2021, 04:08:20 PM
Most coins on my personal opinion really depends on how bitcoin behaves for its market. One reason is the exchange pair of each asset, that's why price really matters when price goes up and down.
So many traders hope for the best for bitcoin, in order for the domino effect which will carry out the value of every altcoins price.
Bitcoin is also called the mother of altcoins, of course this designation has a huge impact on the market,
Bitcoin goes up altcoins can also go up, Bitcoin goes down altcoins also go down, this is why Bitcoin has always been the mother of altcoins,
nothing can solve this problem, and this problem will change itself according to the cycle later, and if the altcoin cycle or called altcoin season,
of course Bitcoin and altcoins will have different views

Always a domino effects, once Bitcoin start its way to pump high expect that the entire market will
see green if not all the coins but most that have active developers will see the money flowing around.

Just need to accept the fact that each time the market turned sides Bitcoin is the very first that will experienced the momentum then alts will follow.

Take time to research and make sure that you have your own views in regards to your expectations inside the market.
3415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: June 10, 2021, 03:20:16 PM
It used to be very viral on Facebook, I even like one page about this tournament it's good for entertainment but not for sporting events, participants do not have defense, it's not about slapping it's how strong your cheek and how you can take those slaps, I like the compilation of slapping knockout, it's been harder than a boxing punch because on boxing they have a globe to protect and this slapping can cause damage to your brain, this kind of sport is insane.
True, I can remember well how they endured the pain and shock after the hard slap that knocked them down. This is the craziest sport I've seen so far on Facebook. Somehow people were eager to see and cheer after one of the opponent KO because of the strong slap. Obviously this is entertainment and it's much more stressful than arm wrestling.

More stressful indeed, imagine how hard that slap that will triggered the pain!

But there are people who are enjoying with this kind of tournament, seems that people who watch it online
have different opinions some may enjoy seeing the endurance of two players accepting hard slaps and try to keep standing.

Social media hypes and until to date they are bringing this sports being notice around.
3416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 10, 2021, 02:44:51 PM

If you believe it does work, examine this scenerio.
If we both worship and serve same god, and we place our bets on the same games, in a manner that our bets are opposites, and we both say a solemn prayer to this our god before casting our bets, Who will this god favour?

God may not interfere and let the game do it's on course, not all prayers are heard, it's just a way for gamblers to make themselves believe that the bet is in favor of them, some gamblers do have this habit and they accept the results win or lose, we should let other gamblers do their ritual if that what they think will favor them.

Agree to that, those rituals are for people who believes in it, there are gamblers who continue
to believe that if they continue praying there might be an impact to their gambling habits.

When they win the mindsets gives them the believes that it was an answer prayer for them, though
I'm not believing in such kind but I respect those people.

Let them do whatever they've think that will help their chance to win.
3417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 10, 2021, 02:33:37 PM
The Nuggets without Murray when facing the Phoenix Suns with Chris Paul in the NBA playoffs is like going outside the city of New York on a winter night without any cloth. The series will surely be an advantage for the Suns. They need to have a close match to him because currently, he is one of the best point guards in the NBA and when other team has no one player to match him in terms of his skills, that's clearly a major advantage and honestly, they could even sweep the series if they managed to keep the way they played the last 2 games in their next games.
The defense was poor and the offense was worse.
I'm a Nuggets fan and I can't take it when I saw them being punished like that because of their errors and to make matters worst, those mistakes ain't small.
Bad pass, no warnings that a double team is coming, no chemistry.
If Porter Jr. is doing bad at shooting, take him out. Use another player to fill up what is needed.
But no, they forced it even if he's feeling uncomfortable at every bend he will make.
Under rim cuts are also gone, pick and roll cannot be seen. It's just "pick" but no roll.  Grin All are stagnant or forced outside shots. They became predictable.

They will certainly lose against the Suns if no one will try to attack the paint except for Jokic.

Adjustments should take seriously, if they won't do anything about it sweep is not far from this team.

Suns continue to dominates as they managed to adjust each time they played against to any opposing team, the chemistry was there and they keep
moving not just The trio of CP3, Booker and Ayton but the whole cast are really participating.

Denver needs to find the right types of play if they are still aiming to stay with this series.
3418  Economy / Speculation / Re: I cannot stop buying on: June 09, 2021, 02:18:33 PM
It depends. If you have a large amount of cash lying unproductive out there, you can go on and on buying Bitcoin when the price goes low. But if you are already spending money which should be intended for something more important then I think you should stop it already.

You can buy more by the time you have another money which is considered an extra savings. Don't forget that Bitcoin's price is not always rising. Just make sure that by the time you have an urgent need, you have something to spend. Don't go all in with Bitcoin.

If you have lots of spare then it's still good to go but if you just have enough to feed yourself and your family better to think more deeper before spending more money into investing with bitcoin.

Keep in mind that money is always important, those who don't have enough reserves they are prone of losing when dip go further.

Balance everything and in the end you'll gain the benefits.
3419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn some profit trading BTC on: June 09, 2021, 01:50:17 PM
I recorded this video to showcase the best, most simple method for earning some quick profit whilest trading BTC.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgdJVz3ZTmE

If you wanna know the best thing to earn Bitcoin, I would prefer and suggest you to trade altcoins but of course before you do it, make your own research about the alts you like to buy first. Then, when you find out it is legit and has a good potentials that's the time you need to decide and most of the time top alts in the market is the best choice to buy dude.
Trading in altcoins I think it's a good suggestion,
doing research on coins is certainly not an easy thing but if we try it definitely can,
at least we can also look for references on coinmarketcap and the top 10 coins are a good choice but anyway it goes back to their respective research

Find the right sources of information and work deeper with the team behind, the chance are
high if you do your research and really focus from every opportunities that may open when investing with crypto trading.

Not that easy but everything can be learned, especially now that every information are available online, you can read or watch each tutorials in finding the good projects.

Sort and pick the good one and let your knowledge increased from time to time.
3420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 09, 2021, 12:11:20 PM
^^ Yes, Jazz started slow but they were able to turn around, I'm surprised that Clippers can't sustained and just melted under the pressure. Clarkson hitting 3's in the third quarter that gave them the lead and they didn't relinquished it.
That's how the playoff was! very exciting, I'm with the Clips but with how Jazz turned the game to their favor it really amazed me, they managed to
adjust and not to allow Kawhai to takeover, Congrats to all Jazz fans for snatching this game.

Quote
Congrats to Jokic fans, I have a feeling that he will be the MVP based on his performance and the numbers he is putting this season. Expect him to play good in the next game against the Phoenix Suns.

He deserved it more than to any  contenders, he didn't missed any game and he played all well, I'm rooting for him too aside from Luka  he also
help his team to reached  the semis. Congrats Joker!
